✓ Tickets Won’t Scan (IPhone 14 pro max)I have never had a problem with this app until I upgraded phones. I have the IPhone 14 pro max and every since I had it. The Ohio Lottery App will not scan the ticket at all closer you get to the bar to scan more blurry it gets. I have try everything redownloading the app, cleaning the camera, restarting my phone, the app and phone system is up to date. I try reporting a quality problem to Ohio Lottery and can’t get past the purchase part cause the app is free. I select it and it won’t let me continue. I would give this NO stars if I could..Version: 7.4.13
✓ Failed cameraI’ve tried this app with an iPhone 6s+. It kept saying there’s something wrong and wouldn’t scan. Bought an iPhone 11 less than a week ago with a great camera, and the camera still won’t scan. Even had a coworker double check to see if I was doing something wrong. The camera won’t scan the barcode. Would not recommend this app. Going to look for another one..Version: 6.3.3
✓ Completely aggravatingIt is regularly telling me “something went wrong try again later”. Today I traded in points for LottoCash and they sure did take my 800 points but the LottoCash never appeared. I called the support number and the very nice lady told me there was nothing she could do and claimed to forward my issue to the tech department. I still have nothing. They didn’t give me the LottoCash nor did they give back my points. Complete rip-off. I’m done with the lottery..Version: 7.4.0
✓ Horrible App. Scam. Marketing Company.I would rate zero star if I could. Remember people, the Ohio Lottery is a Marketing Company. This app is total worthless. It updates extremely late. If it happens to update winning number results you can’t use the barcode scan feature until the next day. Total inconvenience and waste. Other states offer lottery sales on their app, Ohio does not, more inconvenience and waste. Drawings are fake and sell your information, read the fine print. This really pisses me off cause it has been one of my motivating factors for playing. Can’t believe you have fixed this with all the complaints. ✓ I would like to see improvementsHave you considered letting people play multiple play slips with one scan? For example, I play the same two pick-3 numbers and the same four pick-5 numbers. Occasionally I will also play the classic lotto, rolling cash 5, mega millions, etc. I would like to let the lottery retailer scan once and print out all of my desired tickets. ✓ Getting Error “Ooops Something Went WrongSeveral months ago when I used my app, it scanned the instant scratch off tickets just fine. Now, I am receiving the error, “Oops. Something went wrong. Ticket is invalid.” I have scanned numerous tickets from 3 different games and they’ve all stated the same thing!! I called Ohio Lottery Support and was told I could only submit 5 tickets at a time and I have to call back several times to have them manually add them to my account. What a crock!!! Easy way to get me to STOP playing Ohio Lottery Scratchies!!! They all stunk anyway!! The highest payout I got was $5 and that was on a ticket that had 4 winning spots, 3-$1 and 1-double $1. ✓ What’s happenedWhere did the saved play slips go? On top of that, if you complete a play slip it doesn’t work at the lottery kiosks anymore. If I wanted to complete a play slip each time, I’d go back to using the paper. At least I can throw those in my glovebox and not have to fill it out over and again..Version: 7.4.7
✓ Scan Tickets Feature Broken (iPhone 14 Pro Max)My phone is in perfect condition, camera lens is clean, tried in many different types of lighting and backgrounds, etc. I still can not get the Scan Tickets camera feature to focus on any of my lottery tickets barcodes. I have tried scratch offs, Mega Millions and Powerball. When I put the whole ticket in the frame the picture is clear and the app can not read the barcode from that distance apparently. (Even though regular apple camera on QRCodes could do this) I move the card or receipt closer to the camera so the barcode is majority of the box like the app recommends and then it turns into a big blurry blob and making the card look like what I can only imagine as what being legally blind would be like. As the app updates are far and few between I would expect this to be fixed anytime soon. Ohio Lottery should really give another company a chance to run the app..Version: 7.4.7

Don’t use.On the off beat chance you can get the camera function to view the ticket (it saturates the camera so bad everything is white except for a really dark background behind what should be in “focus”), it will not focus on the ticket. ✓ Glitches Galore!Downloaded this app for the first time a few days ago and, at first, it was okay. It sometimes required that I scan a ticket at least twice to get credit, but at least it eventually worked. Now, I can’t scan anything. I keep getting an error message that says, “Oops! ✓ Poorly Written AppThis app is poorly written and confusing. It appears to say one thing but mean another with the whole Ticket Cashing Option. ONLY tickets of $50 up to $5,000 can be cashed. Since the majority of prizes given out by the Ohio Lottery fall well below this threshold, not many customers will be able to utilize this option. An option to accumulate more than $50 and utilize the option. Whoever writes the instructions and promo was NOT clear on this “option”. Again, a very THIRD RATE APP and poorly written and executed instructions. When you call in, the Ohio Lottery Representatives are smug, sarcastic and very off putting. Another TYPICALLY RUN STATE AGENCY. If they had to make it in the real world this would FAIL MISERABLY..Version: 7.0.0
✓ Scanning ticketsBefore ( about 2 years ago ) you could scan a ticket, and if it was a winner, it would tell you if it had already been cashed. Now it just says you are a winner but then when you take it to the store, you are informed it’s been cashed. I liked it better when it informed you it had been cashed!!.Version: 6.2.0
✓ Scanner feature doesn’t work with high quality camerasI noticed that when I got the newest iPhone that the scanner (in app) no longer worked. ✓ Latest update is a disaster for Keno playersNot sure what they did, but after the latest update to fix “bugs” you can no longer select previous keno drawings and watch as the app basically locks up with the number selection screen unable to be removed so you can watch the drawing. ✓ Scratch off ticket scanner doesn’t workBought lottery tickets last week and the scanner worked just fine that day but now when I scan my scratch offs to check, every single ticket I have tried scanning says “Oops! ✓ What’s wrong with the system!!I’ve been using this app for about a year now! But over the last couple of months it just stopped working and I can’t login to few my reward points or scan any tickets! I now it’s the app because I deleted them downloaded it several times and it still doesn’t function!! It’s been this way for the last few months! You would think they would have it fixed by now but I guess customers aren’t that important! Sad to say that I no longer play because of this! ✓ Caution SCAM alertI reported to the Ohio lottery of a scam where people pick up a loosing lottery ticket from the trash and are able to alter the numbers repeatedly to enter tickets manually. They have multiple email accounts and cashing thousands of dollars worth of tickets! As a legitimate player we are limited to the number of entries. They are checking the site multiple times and cashing in for lottery cash. That is why most people are unable to get any because it is sold out! this has been going on for over a year. Thousands if not tens of thousands of tax payers money gone to worthless scammers. The lottery will not shut down manual entry to stop them. Even though they now are finally shutting “some” accounts down. Now they have added KINO to the mix for them to get. Retailers in my area have stopped cashing which inhibits the legitimate people from using their points..Version: 7.4.3
✓ App dose not workI just download, created account and soon as I scanned a ticket it told me I had to log in. Went to log in and told me that it had trouble signing me in. After the 5th attempt to sign in I decided to do a password recovery. Well it’s been 3 days and I’m still waiting on the recovery email. I can’t log into my original acc which has/ A LOT, and I mean A LOT of points (that’s probably why) that I would really like to use. I can’t ever see if my ticket is any good. ✓ Scratch OffIf you want to see which scratch off games are available for a dollar amount, you cannot use the back < button to select another game, you have to go to Home Screen select scratch offs and then dollar amount again. ✓ Problems with ticket scannerCurrent update didn’t fix a glitch with the ticket scanner. It scans the ticket, stays on checking ticket for quite a while before an error message appears that says “There was an error with your entry” Please try again later” It doesn’t matter how much later you try, still get the same error. ✓ ErrorScanned my ticket and it circles saying it’s checking. It either circles for several minutes with no results or it says there was an error to try again but at that point the screen freezes. Maybe too many users trying to see if they are millionaires but an app such as this should be prepared for user surge. ✓ Low ratings are 100% trueI used to use this app for the lotto rewards but they seemed to never have the rewards. Deleted my account but still get emails. You will never get any rewards with all the store’s employees that have access to hundreds of losing tickets to scan for free points. ✓ Scanning tickets doesn’t work!I have two entry entry entry tickets for cash explosion that I got from a gift exchange. The camera WILL NOT focus. This app is horrible and SCANNING tickets is the ONLY way to submit them. I called customer support and they walked me through the process to no avail. Then said I will receive an email from tech support. Never got that weeks later. OHIO lottery seems to be scamming certain people out of entry tickets. ✓ Can I please rate negative stars?What a terrible app. They claim you can earn rewards for non-winning tickets, but you can’t ever scan them. As soon as the camera senses that a barcode is nearby the screen turns way too bright and won’t allow scanning. As a programmer with multiple certifications, I would be absolutely mortified to ever release an app this poorly written. I’ve seen better fully functional applications as the first easy project in a basic programming class. Shame on this developer. They should be investigated for theft, since they were paid money for this crap. They then need to be fired. Shame on the Ohio lottery for lying to people about earning points for rewards when they obviously can’t provide a basic app to do it..Version: 7.4.13
✓ Scanner is not workingFor years I’ve been using this app for the scanner feature. Throughout that time there have been minor glitches every now and then, but it has been mostly usable. Last week the scanner was being very finicky. Now it only says “There was an error with your entry. Please try again later” when I scan a ticket..Version: 7.2.3
✓ Scanner problemsEvery time I try to scan a second ticket the app closes out. It will let me log in and scan one but when I hit scan another ticket it completely closes. Then I have to sign back in for each ticket I need to scan. I looked for an update and there is none. You guys need to fix this bug. I have a big stack of tickets that need scanned for points. ✓ Add more functionalityThey should really let you buy tickets directly from the app so you can get them from an official trusted source and not from a third party app. It would help with security and also make it way easier to scan your tickets for points to use in the raffles. ✓ Several issuesAfter update, doesn’t recognize login. When I select the forgot password option, I am sent an email with a link to change it. The link doesn’t work and only displays a blank screen. When I try to recreate an account, it states that I already have one. Cannot log in. Cannot scan tickets. I deleted the app and reinstalled it; nothing works. ✓ Something went wrong...with this updateOops, something went wrong. This update horribly changed the scanner messages. Instead of saying the ticket is not yet a winner but more drawings are on the ticket, it says something went wrong. So is the ticket just not a winner, or could it not determine if it's a winner or not, or it couldn't connect to the Lotto office, or was it some other sort of error, or what????.Version: 6.0.1
