CloudBeats: Cloud Music Player for Positive User Reviews

Exactly what I was looking forThis has all the features I want: Playing in the background Shuffle Making playlists Offline downloading Some features that I think can help the app are: Changing views while browsing. Instead of just text, you can view thumbnails wen looking for a file. Having “shuffle” or “play” at the top of the file browser so that you don’t have to choose a song to enable these. It just chooses a song from random within the folder or playlist..Version: 2.22.2

Perfect solution, saves storage spaceThis is the perfect solution for my storage issues on my iPhone caused by a backlog of podcasts. Now I just stream them, and the best thing of all it remembers my last position when I pause. Well worth the cost for the ability to resume streaming, and instantly access your tracks from the cloud once downloaded. Also a very pretty app!.Version: 2.7.4

Dont be stingy, buy it!Great, great great.Version: 2.16.2

Great little appDoes everything that it says and does it well. I personally love the ability to choose from my cloud libraries and download mp3s to my device at my own choosing. The speed control is great for reading books that narrate slow, and the bookmark feature keeps me from having to find my spot every time. I used to use vlc player, this takes the cake! Thanks..Version: 2.17.4

Will be five star with one change...Hi there. Great app that works. It just needs a sort by album title function in the library and it will great..Version: 2.8.2

Awsome!Great app to stream my music from my computer withoit using iTunes!.Version: 2.14.2

Almost greatLet me start by saying this is a great app. With the imminent demise of Grove on iPhone I have all my music on OneDrive in various formats. Some 2 hour long MP3’s of sessions from artists that just will not import into iTunes. This solves that problem by playing either directly from OneDrive or giving you the option to download artists, albums or tracks for offline use. Now here is the problem. It doesn’t read the Album Artist Tag. It would be nice if you could only show “Album Artist” rather than ever combination of artist who contributed on a track. I know iTunes does this too, but it makes a mess and makes it incredibly difficult to find anything if you’re searching by Artist..Version: 2.21.10

Makes music management on IOS simpleBeen using this for a couple of years to manage my music without the pain of apple’s o/s in the way. Worth the small investment.Version: 2.21.3

Great app & great customer supportStarted using this app after moving my music library to Dropbox. It really is excellent - plays CD quality FLAC files, easy to use and easy to read screen layouts, connects easily to cloud storage, shows album art. When first using the app I had a problem with a couple of album artworks, which turned out to be due to my using invalid filenames. Exchanged emails with customer support on Sunday and the problem was fixed by first thing Monday. Outstanding! Best music player app I have used - recommended..Version: 2.21.6

I LOVE THE APP 4.5/5I love the app but can you please update or change the UI. Please ❤️.Version: 2.26.11

Perfect for OneDriveI was looking for a music player that would allow streaming from OneDrive and playing across my Google home network and this works perfectly. From my experience I would highly recommend this app..Version: 2.30.6

Indispensable for flexible cloud streamingI’ve been using this app for a while to create playlists of my own demos to listen back to on the move, and I love the flac and wav compatibility. It has worked great with google drive and OneDrive, and I’m delighted to see that it will remain as useful as ever as I move to NAS. A bonus is the audiobook-friendly option of remembering playback position, though ideally I would like to configure this per folder or playlist..Version: 2.35.1

App stands test of timeCloudBeats has greatly expanded in both functionality and scope since its early days when it only supported OneDrive (then known as SkyDrive). The developer (Roman, IIRC) soon added the other well-known Cloud repositories to the app, along with variable speed playback and other features needed for audiobook/podcast playback, among others. All without requesting an extra cent through IAPs or new versions, as seems common with developers now. That being said, the maturity of iPhone and the saturated market make lifetime app licenses seem like a shortsighted idea that have likely contributed to the cesspool of abandonware. I’d much rather pay a patronage than have the developer discontinue an app because it ceased to be personally or economically viable. With that out of the way, I have one enhancement suggestion and I’m not sure if it’s viable. There’s an option for local cloud but can this be used or repurposed to use an SMB login to a local router and link to a folder of attached storage or its media server?.Version: 2.21.8

Brilliant! This is exactly what I was looking for! I now have access to all of my music. It's fast, very intelligent and easy to use. Thank you!.Version: 2.40.6

Needs an EQ immediatelyThe only reason it has 4 star is the lack of an EQ..Version: 2.23.2

Excellent alternative to iTunesI use this app to get music into playlists since my laptop died and I can no longer load new albums into iTunes and then into the iPhone. So I download albums, put them into Dropbox, from there into the app, and now can arrange in playlists or else play in shuffle mode. The UI is decent and functionality is great. Occasionally it crashes or freezes, but no big deal. Love this app. Recommended for anyone operating outside the normal channels..Version: 2.26.4

Fantastic, just needs CUE supportI play from my NAS via webDAV when at home, and Google Drive when outside. I save FLACs to Offline for mobile use. MP3 i just play on the fly. Brilliant app - thanks so much One feature request - can you please support CUE files, for music files that have multiple tracks - common for FLAC Cheers.Version: 2.27.6

One of the Best Music Players Out There!Highly recommended if you want to link music stored on storage sites. Easy to and full featured. Please add folder view to CarPlay!.Version: 2.29.4

Great player butWould give 5 stars if EQ features added to enable bass boost etc. Then you’d have the killer app in music!.Version: 2.21.8

Nice interface, needs to run smootherSolid music playing app. Works best if you use a music tagging program to tag your files with metadata (title, artist, cover art, etc) for this app to use to sort your music into genre’s, by artist, whatever. Had trouble with the app being able to synch all files on a google Drive, better function on Dropbox. Main problem: takes way too long to cue up a track. If you play an album start to finish its fine, but if you want to bounce around and play random songs, the app takes 20-30 seconds to cue up each track. Very choppy. If the app were updated to play tracks quickly it would be much better. Need to be able to pick a track, tap “play” and have the track play instantly. Not happening here..Version: 2.23.6

My most frequently used appAs all my music is on cloud this is definitely the best option. I would love it if the developer added an eq I’d gladly pay an in app purchase for it.Version: 2.21.9

Perfect AppAs expected.Version: 2.23.6

Music and Audiobooks Freedom!Great app, well designed and technically sound. It is easy to use and connects effortlessly to several cloud providers (Dropbox included). It has internal search and playlist capabilities. It is also useful for audiobooks as it has bookmarks and can alter the speed. The cons are: a bit pricy, and at this moment there is no way to import or export playlists. Suggestion for future updates: enable the feature of import/export playlist in m3u and asx formats. I would give it a 5 star if it had the playlist import/export..Version: 2.6.2

Killer App Getting BETTER every updateThis is an app I strongly recommend often. I have a very large music collection, in a variety of formats and sources. This app handles it all!!! More important still, I got a reply from Support within 24 hours to a couple questions I had, Shockingly, the reply had the RIGHT answers. This is incredibly rare. Of course, there is room to improve the app (happy to discuss if I can help), but compared to the major competitor FlacBox, there is no comparison. Right now, I need both...but I am looking forward to the day I’ll have just 1 music app..Version: 2.21.6

Great app for musicians. This app is great for musicians. You can share your music from anywhere, to anywhere and it handles streaming much better than DropBox and the others. Thanks!.Version: 2.11.1

Great alternative to iTunesWorks well, seem less integration with iPhone. Well done!.Version: 2.6.3

Love it, but it does need workI rely on CloudBeats to listen to whatever part of my large music collection I feel like whenever I want wherever I am (with WiFi). On the other hand, I'm being asked to rate it again because I've had to reinstall it again. Eventually it seems its database gets corrupted, and it starts crashing mid-song. Everything has its frailties, but with >> 10,000 tracks to index, recovery takes a very long time (days). A database repair utility would be welcome. and it would be nice if you didn't have to play games with it to keep the rebuild going..Version: 2.23.4

ExcellentI've gone through a bunch of cloud based music players, and I've found that only TuneBox and CloudBeats come close to giving me what I want. Of those two, CloudBeats is the best, better designed, best features, and frankly better looking (that's the least important of the three, but still important)..Version: 2.16.8

PerfectWorks nicely. Thank you so much for using small fonts to get the whole title etc. of the song to display. That is a really good feature.Version: 2.55.10

Great stuff!Does everything I want a cloud player to do-including playlists that span different cloud sources..Version: 2.9.6

Wow! Great app!I was looking for an app to use to play an offline playlist of songs from independent artisti for a work function. I tried several apps but they were either too clunky, had very annoying ads or wouldn’t allow me to use local files that weren’t already in iTunes. Cloudbeats works perfectly. Uploading the files to Dropbox or OneDrive was easy. I had a question and their tech support got back to me with an answer (including screen shots) very quickly. I highly recommend Cloudbeats!.Version: 2.22.2

Love It! Except… 🛑🛑🛑This is so great to finally find an app that allows me to download my music from Dropbox and acts as an actual music player. Haven’t been able to find one for years!! However, the most important parts of a music player are missing 😞 No way to listen to just the songs. There’s no list of just songs by itself. We have everything else but not this for some reason…why??? Then we have the fact that we can’t edit the music file ourselves (picture, name of song, artist, and album) which means if we downloaded it ourselves from a place much less organized than ITunes then we’ll never be able to find the song once we forget about it 😞 I’d love to update to a 5-star review when these things are added. Until then; this is the best I can do. Appreciative of what we do have though! 🙂.Version: 2.54.1

The thinking person’s player. You know what you like. No store here folks. Your choice of music, as you want to hear it when you wish to hear it..Version: 2.21.10

Awesome!Love this app especially since I don’t use Apple Music. I have always wanted an app that can play my songs on different drives and this is perfect. Thanks..Version: 2.23.2

Fantastic appGreat app for playing music. The download feature make this a must have app. Keep up the good work..Version: 2.35.1

Great Music AppVery nicely featured. Great to see support for OneDrive as it fills the gap until Xbox music player for iOS supports OneDrive..Version: 2.8.4

Best out there!!!CloudBeats with OneDrive is the option if you are remotely an audiophile! I spent more money on Flacbox and it didn’t work at all. I couldn’t get it to load all of my songs because it would keep timing out. Decided to buy CloudBeats and couldn’t be happier. I like to shuffle songs and the radio feature on this is killer. Don’t waste your money on any other app that can play FLAC files!!!.Version: 2.36.0

Easy to operate, solves all my storage problemI was attracted by it because it can play from Google drive and other cloud services. I needed cloud storage for my large collection of audio files. Retrieving and playing them used to be a hassle. Now, I can do it anywhere in the world as long as I have internet connection. It is very easy to use and most operations are quite intuitive..Version: 2.21.3

Amazing development over the yearsI’ll try to keep this short and sweet, as I could go on about how amazingly wonderful this app is. Written July 2022. • regular updates over the several years: new features and improvements are quite common for what can be seen as a relatively simple app • Siri integration: this is a new feature and lets me use Siri Shortcuts and automations, something I’ve wanted from this app for a while and is now here. Makes life so much easier especially when connecting to several airplay speakers. I can now do this with one tap versus multiples taps/apps before • great developer: Roman replies to emails when I report minor bugs, as well as when I have suggestions, several of which he has implemented • functionality: it does exactly what I need from a music app. Syncs with my cloud music folder and lets me download my entire library for buffer-free listening wherever I am • CarPlay: simple layout, even lets you toggle shuffle on/off. I now have an automation (thanks to the new Siri integration) which begins playing music when CarPlay is initiated. Love it! I’ve used CloudBeats for years. Literally hours per day for the last, oh, probably 7 or 8 years?? So happy I found this app. Music is everything to me and CB makes it easy for me to enjoy all my tunes :).Version: 2.55.1

Exactly the oneI tried various apps that claimed to use cloud services to play music... And they all failed the "can I figure out how to use what I need in 5 minutes" test. This app passed with flying colors. Supports Apple Lossless, and typical lossy m4a files with no gotchas. It even sees my embedded album art from XLD. Offline mode Just Works and the app knows when music are offline without any special fuss. Radio mode is really song shuffle but it is nice in its simplicity. Optionally it'll play offline only which is ideal if using a NAS that's inaccessible off the LAN. The whole app is a model in simplicity, beating Apple at its own game! Bye bye iTunes Match! I really want album shuffle -- something that the iOS Music app has not had in a long time..Version: 2.17.2

Perfect for learning a new instrument?I bought this app because I wanted to create playlists of music that I am learning and want to practice with, and that I have stored all over the place. This app does that very easily, ... PLUS you can slow down (or speed up) playback of songs, which is great when you’re learning something new. Luv it!. (Don’t be cheap, buy the pro version.).Version: 2.21.10

PerfectI had a lot of CDs ripped to my hard drive that I had stored in Google Drive. The act of getting these back onto my iPhone was a nightmare. This app made everything so easy. I can stream directly from my Google Drive, or I can download the music directly to my phone and play off-line. I’d give the six stars if I could..Version: 2.55.10

ExcellentThis app is grate, I love it. I know longer need to use iTunes, all my music can be in the cloud..Version: 2.6.7

ExcellentFor a long time We have been looking for a way to share our music and play it continuously. And I was so happy when I found this App. Not only is it excellent, their customer service is “A” class. They replied to my dumb queries straight away and resolved all my issues. I wish the developers all success and a big thank you for bringing this in my life!.Version: 2.55.10

Brilliant! In love this app! I put my music into Dropbox and then download it via this app to play offline whenever I want! It's a great way to circumvent using iTunes. It has a nice user interface and is very intuitive to use. Also, it plays other audio formats like FLAC which iTunes won't. Highly recommended for music lovers..Version: 2.13.2

SO useful for Dropbox Demos & Mix ReviewsOnce you’ve used Cloudbeats Pro you’ll never look back. No more fiddling between Dropbox files - especially while driving. I’m work in the music industry and I’ve found this handy app indispensable, reliable and worth every cent to go pro (No file limits.) Thank you!.Version: 2.52.1

My ears are on cloud nine!Fantastic music app! Previously used the free version and absolutely loved it! Worth paying for the offline version!.Version: 2.55.10

Fantastic! This app is well worth its one time $5 price tag if you already have an extensive music collection and don’t want to fork over $10 a month for a streaming service that’s generally going to play what might already be in your existing library. I do wish they would come up with a browser version so that I could use this service on my pc laptop though. As a software developer, I understand the challenges that could bring though..Version: 2.41.1

Amazing.I have a huge collection of lectures on google drive. This app is a life saver..Version: 2.14.3

Best cloud music appThe organization of your music is pretty straight forward. It’s best if you already have your music sorted beforehand such as all the meta info like Artist Name, Song Name, Album Artwork, etc. since you cannot edit through the app (sorting it through the iTunes desktop app helps with doing so). Drawing from most cloud storage sites, you can just stream all music directly to your device plus the option of downloading to your phone. Great app nonetheless!.Version: 2.21.6

One of the best app for musicI download couple of apps for music. This is the only one app I found songs can be played straight from cloud storage rather than downloading songs to my phone. Interface also very easy to operate. Quality is excellent..Version: 2.16.8

Exactly what I was looking for.I record a 5 hour radio show to my computer every day and have it split into 30 minute increments to be more manageable. I don’t always have time to sync to iTunes to and listening on OneDrive, I have to reach for the phone at the end of each part to play the next one. With CloudBeats I can start the day’s show and listen all the way through without any extra effort. And if I edit out the commercials, the playlist is automatically updated wherever I am. It’s a simple thing but a great help to me. Especially when I am traveling. Perfect..Version: 2.53.3

GoodIs a pretty decent app. I use it to connect to my Box account. The interface can use some improvements..Version: 2.21.1

Simply the bestBest cloud player there is Tried many and this is the one!!.Version: 2.33.6

The best offline iCloud player period.I have very large mp3 library on iCloud (230 directories/20,000 songs) and I discovered an issue with having the same song in more than one folder during import from iCloud. Roman, the developer responded almost immediately to my posted review and worked with me to understand and fix the issue within 2 days. I highly recommend CloudBeats, it’s simply the best..Version: 2.52.2

MEGA CloudHi devs, plz add Mega Cloud, very good app.Version: 2.27.11

The best solution to a massive music libraryI’ve been searching for an app that allows me to keep my multi-thousand deep iTunes library in the cloud, yet give me a slick UX that enables me to play those songs, create, playlists, and even download some for off-line play. This app does all of that perfectly, and is the single best solution I’ve found for wrangling a massive music library. Don’t waste your time looking for a better solution, it’ll only lead your back here. 5/5.Version: 2.55.7

App won’t sync full albums on Drive.I really want to like this app, but I always end up getting track errors and it never syncs a full album from my Google Drive leaving me having to play tracks from the Drive app itself. I came from a free version of this app and even that works better than this paid one. I feel kind of jipped for the money. Please fix this very crucial issues!.Version: 2.26.2

Awesome app!Works flawlessly with Dropbx, and super easy to setup, with tons of cool features. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Very happy with this purchase!.Version: 2.16.1

Still track loading error(Update) Eventually the issue of flac streaming from google drive is solved. Thank you so much developer for your effort to solve the issue. Still getting track loading error for flac files in google drive even with ver. 2.27.7. No problem with mp3 files. Are you still working on it or is it supposed to be working fine?.Version: 2.27.9

All my music with meI love having all my music stored on Dropbox and always available. Frees me up from limitations from Apple. Works well most of the time but have noticed a few glitches from time to time. It’s good to see that the developers are continually improving the app. Old Reviews: Update: latest update has broken the app. It crashes on launch - no longer able to open the app :( This could be the answer. I hope the developer keeps improving it. Have had some problems with lost offline albums but looks like it might be OK now. Update- no, won't let me save above around 29 offline albums. Anything above that eventually disappears. This must be some sort of limit. I can maybe work with this, but have spent a lot of time trying to sort/understand..Version: 2.18.1

It Works, OddlyNot an especially intuitive interface. Once you connect to a cloud storage service, you have to hammer on the app to talk it into scanning for music. “Downloaded” music is not available once you sign out of a storage service, which sounds fishy to me. Also - please consider that you are allowing this app by proxy to access your entire cloud-based storage for whichever service you sign into (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.), so I do not recommend using a cloud location where you store confidential data..Version: 2.29.9

ExcellentGreat app !! Pity it cannot be used with apples iCloud Drive.Version: 2.18.2

Great App - Feels a Bit OutdatedI’ve had the Pro version of this app for the past month and have used it daily since downloading and paying for full use rights. The interface is fairly simple/straightforward and connecting the player to a cloud storage account is seamless. I would suggest a few things that would make this a five start app: 1. Put 15-second, 30-second, and one minute skip options on the player interface - both in app and on the lock screen. I listen to old Howard Stern shoes and the scrubbing to various sections of a shoe isn’t always easy to do, especially whilst driving. 2. Institute additional track editing functionality in the app. I understand that perhaps this is a limitation because the metadata rests with the files in the cloud drive. However, it’s a pain to edit tracks, albums, etc. in “iTunes”, move those edited files into the cloud drive, and then hope the CloudBeats player recognizes the changes made for sorting purposes. This is the initial feedback that has immediately come to mind after using it consistently. It’s a great app but with some polishing, it could get even better..Version: 2.29.9

GordonFantastic App! I'm using it to listen to and learn our choir songs, which are posted on Google Drive. Works perfectly, and the features like, ordered playlists, repeat play, playback speed adjust, bookmark point in a song, and offline play (purchased version) have made song learning much more efficient. Thank-you!.Version: 2.16.2

Nearly perfect, but I have a feature request for the devSuper awesome, easy to use app. My ONE suggestion would be to add “swipe to return to previous page” to the UI. I love the app, but I’m finding it’s a slight challenge to hit the “back carrot” in the upper-left corner when I’m in motion (car, walk, whatever). I’d rather just swipe back with my thumb than reach up to go back one screen. Again, this is picky, but I think this one simple addition would catapult it from Nearly Perfect to Absolutely Perfect..Version: 2.54.1

Primo!Best music app for downloading and listening to the MP3s I own directly off my iPhone. Excellent interface. Thanks!.Version: 2.18.4

Fantastic for Music!I couldn't be happier with this app. I have a giant library of MP3s that were such a pain to import into my music library and sync with iTunes every time I wanted to add or remove any, and this app elegantly replaces that entire process. Now you sign into a Google Drive account after installing the app, then just throw the MP3s into Drive and tell Cloud Beats which folder they're in, and BOOM! All your music is now immediately available. Data usage can be an issue if you're not on a wireless network, but you can prepare some tracks to be available offline if you know when you're going to be out and about. Coupled with the option to only play offline tracks, this makes it much easier to avoid excessive data usage. The reviews asking for the ability to skip around within a track to make podcasts more accessible are pretty valid though. From what I can tell, the only way to do that is to have the phone unlocked and the app open, which is probably not how you'll be listening to a podcast. Overall, I could not recommend this app highly enough. If you want more options for listening to a personal music library that isn't stored on iTunes, you can't do much better than Cloud Beats..Version: 2.17.2

ExcellentWorks very well and support is very good from the developer.Version: 2.22.2

Awesome App - Perfect For Streaming Audio From Dropbox!Absolutely LOVE this app. It does exactly what I want it to do - allow me to create playlists and stream audio files from my Dropbox. The audio files and playlists can be downloaded for fast local playback. Album artwork is included, and the whole thing just works very well. Highly recommended! 10/10..Version: 2.54.1

New featuresGreat app guys! Any chance of some different colour schemes or themes?? Also the addition of some sound features such as a bass booster and equaliser would be amazing. Other apps are now offering this.Version: 2.19.3

Great for large music libraries.Tried several other ways to be able to listen to my 400gb music library in my vehicle using apple car play. None come close to this app and the creator is very helpful (quickly) if you have questions. I seldom pay for apps but this turned out to be seven bucks well spent..Version: 2.52.4

An intuitive app for listening to music on IOS devicesI use this app to listen to my music library which I store on Onedrive. I was able to import my library and start creating playlists immediately. Cloudbursts works fine, allowing me to create multiple playlists, choose which libraries in Onedrive I wish to include. It also supports FLAC formats which I appreciate. I have upgraded to the paid version which price I find very fair. I highly recommend this cloud music player. Thank you for a fine app..Version: 2.55.9

Great AppGreat layout, great sound, easy to use, and plenty of options. First class dropbox and local files player..Version: 2.25.1

By far my favorite APP... Ever!I use this everyday and when I am on wifi there is no concern with data usage. Data usage is minimal outside of wifi for a half hour here at the gym, or hour there on the bus but definitely keep track of usage. Stylish and easy to use, with cover art for albums displayed in app and on lock screen. My only minor complaint is that it isn't compatible with older .wmv music files..Version: 2.21.9

Last.FM Support for local/offline filesWanted some way to scrobble local/offline/cloud-based files through my phone. This works perfectly. I even bought the Cloudbooks app by mistake at first and wasted $11, and I’m still giving this 5 stars haha.Version: 2.29.12

Take MyCloud Home music with youI tried to link several Cloud Streaming apps to my WD MyCloud Home without success. Even paid for premium versions and asked support for help. Then I found CloudBeats which has built in support for MyCloud Home and works perfectly. I can now carry my entire music collection wherever I go. I can also create playlists and sync them across devices. It even links to the iPhone’s music app so you don’t have to leave the app to play saved music. A great app. Thanks for providing an excellent solution to my problem..Version: 2.26.4

WonderfulDoes what is required......Version: 2.29.15

Love this app. I use it daily!Cloudbeats is the best app for playing FLAC files from my Google Drive. I literally use the app everyday. A few things I’d like to see cleaned up: Sometimes tracks cutoff before the track is over and the next track will start prematurely. Also, sometimes when playing longer tracks, the next track will get stuck when starting or start with static. Minor things. I’ll test with this latest update! Also, track times sometimes don’t display when playing. Again, even with these things it’s a 5star app all the way..Version: 2.27.12

One drive for businessThis is one of the few apps that will accommodate one drive for business. Plus it works well! Thank you for the hours of great listening I’ve enjoyed with this app..Version: 2.52.2

Fantastic appHave used this as my default music app for a long time. It just quietly works. Very happy with it. If I had to suggest an area for improvement it would be the addition of gapless playback. There is currently a pause between tracks even if they are designed to be continuous - I guess the app doesn’t begin streaming the new track until the last one has finished. This can be jarring, especially in the case of continuous mixes that have been split into individual tracks. Not even the mighty VLC does this on the PC though, so I am being picky. Otherwise I’m very happy with this..Version: 2.27.6

Exactly what I have been looking for!Connects to my OneDrive and plays all my music and podcasts like no other. I love the play/pause feature where it remembers last played position no matter what happens to app! (closed/crashed etc) awesome app, needs some UI overhaul though, a bit outdated looking..Version: 2.26.7

Love the appReally a spectacular app. Works perfectly and allows me to consolidate my entire collection in one easy to navigate location. I've emailed them in the past about this and hope they're listening now to provide a desktop application that can stream all the files. Would make my work day that much better. Don't see a downside to adding that ability. Until then, keep it up..Version: 2.21.5

Almost PERFECTThis app lets me sign up to Apple Music AND still have control of my music collection. The 10 and 30 second rewind is brilliant if you are working on your own music mixes. Only thing I'd add is alternative skins to help visibility in sunlight..Version: 2.16.7

At last a great Dropbox music playerAfter trying many apps - this is the one! Sensible user interface and it works well. Great. A+++++.Version: 2.21.4

Useful app! This is much easier to listen to audio files I have recorded or edited on my pc and listen to on my ipad. The interface could do with an overhaul it's a bit ugly. But this works well!.Version: 2.5

Fantastic music playerI wish i could figure out how to just edit my old review from when there was a major issue with the app, but i'll figure that out after this. this is an INCREDIBLE app, i love being able to store all of my music in one spot and the developers are very responsive when something starts acting up, every update has made the app more functional and efficient, ive been using it for years and i always recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their entire music library on their phone..Version: 2.55.8

Well worth it!Great app, pity there's not a lite version as I went through 5 apps before I bit the bullet and purchased this one. Thankfully it does everything I wanted, the ability to download music from online storage. Few bugs but I'm sure they'll be fixed in an update..Version: 2.4.4

Brilliant App!Thanks to you for such a reliable, versatile and easy to use app. It’s a bit heavy to say that this has improved our quality of life, but it has, as we have been able to get the most out of our personal musical treasures..Version: 2.33.5

Great app ... does what it saysEnjoying the app. Allowed me to play all my favourite songs which are not on Spotify. Ah the nostalgia. The UI is a little old looking, but functional indeed..Version: 2.26.1

Best Cloud Player EverThis app is awesome—we can now take our entire music library with us anywhere we go without expensive subscription fees or contracts—none at all! And it plays audiobooks! It is easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing by easily incorporating cover art. I was skeptical at first, but now I am really glad I found this app—it’s one of my favorite and most valuable apps..Version: 2.21.2

Real cool appWorks great.Version: 2.15.1

CloudBeats Rocks!Connecting to your music in the cloud made easy. Really enjoying the simplicity and power of this app..Version: 2.37.1

A top app for consolidating all your cloud stored musicAnd also making it available offline. Shame Apple can't make iCloud available - that would be amazing, but as it stands, Dropbox and OneDrive are working well for me, and it's great to have an app like this with Carplay. Now Apple Music can't trample all over your recordings and art and mismatch things!!!.Version: 2.55.8

If you want to stream your own mp3sThis is a really fantastic app. I have it signed in to my Dropbox, where I keep my music, and OneDrive, where I keep my audiobooks. I use the major streaming services like anyone else but in general prefer to own my music, so this app has been a real gift. Just a couple bugs here and there related to the on-the-fly playlist continuity (playback sometimes stops for no evident reason), but this is nothing too big and it mostly works super well for the purpose. Thanks so much to the developer for making my entire gigantic MP3 collection as accessible to me as the streaming services!.Version: 2.29.2

Finally! After downloading and deleting many others which either had confusing interfaces or tons of ads, I was about to give up. This app is fantastic, free and pro. I chose to purchase for options but the free one was what hooked me and I am so glad I found it.Version: 2.16.2

Nice!I remember using this years ago. Glad to see it is still going strong and being updated!.Version: 2.29.6

Great when it worksHave had this app for a few years now, and it provides basically exactly what I want for an app like this: a simple interface to selectively download albums from my Dropbox to play offline on my phone. Unfortunately, the app is just plain buggy. Several times now I've downloaded a new album only to have all the albums I already had downloaded for offline play deleted. I've had albums only partially download despite the app saying they're ready for offline play, so I can't actually listen to them offline. Updates occasionally wipe my downloaded albums. Other minor but annoying little bugs are frequent. It's frustrating because the basic functionality of the app is just what I want. But it's just too buggy to rely on, so I often end up manually managing music through my computer anyway, which defeats the point..Version: 2.27.6

Almost ideal, one thing missingOn the plus side, this app does a fine job of streaming from Dropbox, Box and other cloud based storage platforms. In this respect it does what MusicStreamer from Stratospherix cannot do. However, the let down is connectivity to NAS drives. This app only offers WebDAV (which is hard work) but does NOT offer SMB (much easier to setup). So at present to be completely covered, you need both MusicStreamer and CloudBeats. Nic.Version: 2.29.15

Excellent appI tried various apps before settling on this one. Once it scans my dropbox and one drive it caches album covers and listings so easily viewable and in a nice way. Can download albums for offline viewing. The few bugs have been fixed on the recent versions so it's good to go. Excellent for larger collections as well..Version: 2.29.15

Couldn’t do without itI use this app all the time. As a composer/producer I need to be able to listen to lots of my and my clients’ music all the time. CloudBeats is perfect for me. I can make playlists, go into any of my DropBox folders and just sit back and listen to any collection I like at any time. I used the free version for a while, but had to upgrade when I wanted to listen to some larger collections of more than 20 tracks. If I had one request, is that you make a version for Apple TV. Anyway, my subject line says it all. Thanks for making this app!.Version: 2.21.4

I love this app!!The quickest was to get you music on your device. I don't need to sync with iTunes anymore, and my entire music archive is accessible at my fingertips, across all my iOS devices. Not too many people have heard of this app, but I always recommend it. Worth every penny!!!!.Version: 2.14.1

Solves a glaring problem, could be betterIt needs skip-back and skip-forward buttons. I do love this app, using it mostly for long-form recordings like lectures. That's why it needs jump-back and jump-forward controls, like all the podcast players have. It may not be an issu for music, but try to roll back 30 sec in a 2-hour lecture file, while out jogging, and you'll quickly see the utility of this hoped-for feature addition. I love that it eliminates the need to use horrible iTunes to get audio files into your phone, but the playback features could use some love..Version: 2.17.2

Lyrics would make it perfectAs a love musician who uses backing tracks, this app is awesome. Impromptu performances, or left iPad at home etc. Please tho, add a iD3 lyrics view feature (zoomable)..Version: 2.15.2

Yay!All fixed for iPhone X, thank you for making this app better and stronger..Version: 2.18.4

100% A Staple App — Fantastic for Audiobooks! You can listen to audiobook files while reading your book which is great for people like me who tend to have a wandering mind while reading. Why I like this app specifically is because of the seamless Google Drive support, playlist feature for audiobooks broken up into separate files for each chapter or section, and the ability to listen at 3X speed is just amazing. I usually listen at 2X for audiobooks because that’s the limit but practice 3X and you’ll be able to finish a 15 hour book in 5 hours.. I like highlighting my book as I go so it takes a bit longer but you get the point. There’s the voice optimization feature which is truly incredible as it increases the clarity of the narrator on faster speeds. I had one issue where I tried rewinding, I didn’t know if it worked but when I tried playing the file, it kept rewinding and sounded glitchy. Just restarted the app and it worked again. This app was totally worth my purchase. Amazing job..Version: 2.26.2

Fabulous! If you have your music tracks uploaded to OneDrive, pCloud or other cloud services and you want to play them on the go this app is the one you want. Works perfectly. If you’ve got a big music library it might take a while to scan them but once that’s done you can play anything via streaming, or download for offline playing. You can also import playlists from say iTunes (m3u format) and they work great. Definitely worth the download and one-off payment..Version: 2.55.9

AwesomeLove the way the Dropbox integration is implemented in this app. One of my most commonly used apps..Version: 2.11.2

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Finally!!!THANKS GUYS ... About time someone realised there are many cloud storage APP's that can store music but weren't the best for playing it. This app is perfectly simple and works with several of my cloud storage APPs, couldn't be happier (well, I am looking forward to the "playlist" upgrade) Very, very happy :0)".Version: 2.4.4

Great app[ update] Wow. Now with Siri support. I was going to ask if this was possible. Great app now even better. The latest update has now fixed browsing albums via the artist tab and is a huge improvement for me. When selecting an album and then returning to the artist, the app now remembers where you left off, instead of returning to the top of the album list. Thanks for fixing this dev. And I love the new Genre layout too..Version: 2.55.1

An app that exceeds your expectationsI don’t write reviews often and it is less often an app exceeds my expectations, especially one without “in-app” purchases. This one did. Worth every cent..Version: 2.29.4

Best I’ve Found to Play from NASI use this app to stream music from my Synology NAS using WebDAV and it works pretty well (better than other apps I’ve tried). Pros: List scrolling and caching is good and snappy. It actually works (I’ve tried some apps that don’t work or seem to choke). The interface is not a disaster (again, comparing to the competition here). Issues: The initial sync is incredibly slow and Chromecast does NOT work on WebDAV connections. I also wish the album list could be shown as a list or smaller icons rather than the massive icons that are currently there and make it difficult to scroll through and quickly find something..Version: 2.27.12

PerfectPerfect if you have music online you want to play on the move, I couldn’t be without it..Version: 2.21.8

Great app.A simple app which allows you to connect it all your cloud services and play the media on your device it is it extremely useful and I like it a lot.Version: 2.19.0

Best solution......for me, having backed up all my cd’s to OneDrive. I’ve tried most of the available apps in the App Store and nothing comes close to this! The interface is simple and easy to navigate, great on both iPad and iPhone. Support is also excellent, answering my email at the weekend! Please keep up the great work, I’ll be using this for years to come!.Version: 2.26.9

Wonderful appGreat app A++.Version: 2.21.6

CloudBeats not accessing new files in my google driveThank u so much for the response through the email. The new files added did not have any file extension in the file name, hence the app was not reading it as you said. Now I can see all the google drive files in cloud beats app. Till September 2020 it was working perfect. But off late, it is not accessing the new files added to google drive. Please fix this issue. I hv deleted app, downloaded, signed off google drive and signed in again. Nothing helps.Version: 2.29.14

Works wellFound this one of the best for streaming my cd collection..Version: 2.55.10

Excellent appIs the best way to have my music collection online..Version: 2.14.3

FantasticEasy to use, delivers what promises and is ultra easy to use! The only I would suggest is put a option to set a default folder for the song, that will help to search tunes and make playlists. It would make this APP perfect.... I totally recommend..Version: 2.16.9

Great app. Please add CarPlay supportGreat app. Please add CarPlay support 🚙 😄.Version: 2.16.11

Working great ! Good alternative to PlexMakes a great alternative to Plex if you do not want to have a physical server. Developper support is A1, i always got an answer in 24h (or less).Version: 2.29.4

Great AppThis is a great App for browsing and streaming your private collections. These guys do a great job and have covered off a niche area not well catered for. Thanks !!.Version: 2.7.7

Cloud Beats the hidden gemLooked for ages for an app to allow me to copy my mp3 music to my iPhone and this is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use my OneDrive storage as a temporary point to either stream direct or download using the app to play offline. I travel by train a lot and the signal drops loads so wanted to be able to play offline. The app keeps all details of the songs and I like the playlist option as well as repeat and Shuffle. It’s great and also a bargain..Version: 2.21.9

Great!A year or two ago this app was really buggy and slow (enough that I basically never used it) but they’ve managed to fix most of the issues and at this point it works pretty well with bugs or hangs only showing up occasionally. There are still definitely some small improvements that could be made but for the most part it’s easy to use and handles my massive music collection and large playlists very smoothly!.Version: 2.26.9

A Great App!I love this app - it works seamlessly and consistently - I highly recommend it!.Version: 2.15.4

IWatch app please !... with controls on the watch for 30/10 second forward backward... thank you!!.Version: 2.26.1

Good but bugsSort by Upload Date not working.Version: 2.38.2

Well designed app that worksMoved all my music to Google Drive and have the app on my three IOS devices synced to Drive. When I add music to drive I quickly update my devices to reflect the change. One source. The only negative I can find is it takes a while for it to initially install all the data into the “My library” folder. It seems when the iPad goes into sleep mode the sync function pauses. The secret is to play music through the radio option so the app forces the iPad not to shut down. It took about 3 hrs to add my 50 gb to my iPad. Not a big deal. Moving the library data base on to the other devices was simple. Just back the data up to drive then do a restore on the next device. The owner of the app, Roman, is quick to answer questions. No this is not a paid review. I’m in PEI Canada..Version: 2.53.3

Brilliant with DropBoxBrilliant audio listening app for music or other audio files. I listen to audio files that I've loaded into a DropBox folder. Works perfectly. Great player controls. Easy to setup and use. Better and cheaper than iTunes Match. Highly recommended..Version: 2.21.7

The Best Cloud-Based Music PlayerI’ve been using this app for 5+ years or so, and I believe it’s the best cloud-based music player that I’ve ever heard; which is also easy to program via its friendly User Interface (UI). The software is constantly maintained on a regular basis which helps to keep in-pace with the newer technologies. I personally use several cloud storage systems (MS OneDrive, DropBox, Google Drive etc ...) And it’s a seamless connection with no lagging (of course, it all depends on your connection’s bandwith). Also, the footprint of the app’s occupancy’s space is very minimal. I highly recommend this app to all users who have a cloud-based storage system(s)..Version: 2.27.14

Great appI use it every day and it works well..Version: 2.15.2

CarplayOverall a good player, although downloading music is a pain. Wma support would be a bonus plus Carplay support..Version: 2.23.4

Good solid appThe support the devs have shown for this app is great. Regular good updates keep coming. Better gapless playback would be great, but this is still a solid app..Version: 2.9.4

Finally works again (was Broken)— The app finally works again, and it is playing my music no matter where I am. — The app is still completely broken. Still get track loading error. Still can’t play a single song from my library which had worked fine until several weeks ago when it broke. Developer says a fix will come ASAP, but none of the updates have solved the problem. I paid for this app, so I would appreciate either a fix or my money back. — The latest update has completely broken the app. Every song produces a “track loading error - try again.” Well, if you you try again nothing happens - it won’t play any songs in my library. It’s useless for playing music from my My Cloud Home which is why I paid for it in the first place..Version: 2.30.8

Great app but..It's such a good app but please make it more easy on the eyes for iPhone 6 plus users. :) Needs to look modern and sexy please! Smaller fonts!.Version: 2.8.2

The best Google Drive audio playerAs a musician, I keep a lot of audio files on Google Drive, to share with my band as we work on new songs and mixes. Cloud Beats lets me access these tracks easily, pick up where I left off in any track, and store the tracks locally over wifi so I don't need to use data every time I listen. Really well designed and well featured app! I couldn't find anything else that came close. Mike.Version: 2.8.0

Awesome programSimply works :).Version: 2.16.2

GreatThe best music streaming app I've found. Frequent updates too..Version: 2.17.2

Great music appUpdate. After only using occasionally recently, I have returned to downloading music to listen on the underground. My old friend of an app is still here and as good as I remember. So pleased it has only improved over time. Update. Good as ever on my new iPhone only with a full notch screen layout. Will I ever succeed it with Apple Music? I think I might supplement it with Apple Music but if I have a higher resolution version here with my Mojo I’ll use this. Update. The current update is a further improvement to an already great app. I requested to the developers a return of album art to playlists which disappeared at the last major update. This has now been included so I am both happy and reassured by the attention given by the developer. I have been using this app as my default music player for many months and it has never let me down. It means I can have my favourite songs/albums already synced with my phone and then either stream everything else in my music collection or (more usually on my phone) download anything I want in place of something else that I consign back to the cloud. Anywhere in the world and without the need for a computer. If that sounds like a free iTunes Match you would not be far wrong, but if, like me, you also have apple lossless versions of your CDs in the cloud then you can use these instead to download/stream high quality music to your setup at home via Airplay..Version: 2.55.9

Glad I found this.Great player for DropboxGlad music!! Thanks.Version: 2.21.10

High quality, excellent Dropbox syncFar better than the other apps I've tried for music sync and offline support. The user interface is well laid out and intuitive. The app hasn't nagged me for a review once either. It is worthy of your money..Version: 2.16.3

Great!Works great! Love it!.Version: 2.16.3

Pretty goodOverall pretty good, setting a track to ply next works perfectly, only queuing tracks does not work as it is meant to, the tracks I click to queue do not actually play following the current track. But glad I can use this app pretty easily and efficiently. Thanks.Version: 2.55.8

No more iTunesFinally I can say goodbye to iTunes. Perfectly implemented app. Simple and works well.Version: 2.6.1

Top Shelf Music Streaming! Totally love it.I’ve been using CloudBeats for almost 2 years now and I totally love it. I have a ton of music I’ve converted from my vinyl and CDs over the past decade and I have it stored on Dropbox. This amazing app enables me to create custom mixes that stream my collection beautifully. I had weird issue a while back with songs playing at half speed on an older iPad. After an email to the good folks at CloudBeats they not only had the solution for me with a quick reply, the solution they offered brought to my attention a feature which enables you to alter the speed of a song. Which is great if you’re trying to learn a guitar solo, understand some unintelligible lyrics or simply speed up an audio book. I only wish it had a cross-fade feature so when I play a mix of songs they would seamlessly and subtly fade in and out of other. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it already exists - all I know is that CloudBeats does the one thing I need/want it to do - stream my collection from Dropbox. Just download it already! You can thank me and CloudBeats later. Rock on! HMK.Version: 2.26.2

Great app when it worksI find that every time I want to use this app I have some sort of issue. Generally speaking this means that I cant actually listen to anything with it. I have a large music collection and had previously taken the time to wait several hours for the app to index my entire library. That seems to improve things for a while but now again I seem to be in the same situation where nothing wants to play from Dropbox, I can’t use radio mixes with offline or online songs and the library although fully populate does not let me listen to any songs. When I can get further along, I am also plagued by track loading errors. This occurs on both stable wifi and 4G/5G. I really want this app to work but not sure what else I can do here except look for an alternative. I have also paid for the app which makes it rather disappointing. Update 1: I have reinstalled the app and taken several days to fully index my library again. It seems to work for now with no issues. Hoping this solves my issues for good 🤞 Update 2: seems since my last update the app overall works better and I haven’t had any tracking loading issues this far, so hopefully this will be the end of my problems.Version: 2.52.4

Great appWorks good..Version: 2.16.2

*Best Audio GearI have a older Ipad and I wanted to buy a mp3 player to play my numerous oldies ! With this convenient program so low price, approximately $6.00, I have the best mp3 player and did not spend hundreds of $$$. With Dropbox, I'm putting all my music on my Ipad and I can enjoy it everywhere !.Version: 2.21.9

Excellent AppLovely latest update for iPad, thank you. Original comment - Great solution to getting all your cloud-stored music onto iPad/phone to play and sort as you wish. Good stuff..Version: 2.43.0

GreatIt offers alternative solution to store music without using a PC and iTunes..Version: 2.9.6

Waiting for this improvement. After i have signed into my cloud service, downloaded my songs, and played some offline successfully, I signed out from my cloud service - What happens then? User is kicked out of the application until resigned in to cloud service. Why, I want to have access to my offline downloaded songs even if I sign out. Please and kindly, do this improvement. Thanks..Version: 2.16.2

Great appGreat app for syncing audio books from cloud storage services Just wanted to update my review to say this is still the best way to listen to audio books out there. Have been using this for years and don't know what I would do without it. Thanks again for the great app!.Version: 2.17.2

The best audio player around!I love this app! It gives me access to my music, no matter where it is, or where I am. WebDAV support is the star feature for me, giving me easy access to my home NAS drive, A couple more cloud drive options would be nice, e.g. Mega, but it already covers more cloud options than any other player I’ve tried. The ability to download for offline access is genius - it also detects if I’ve updated my downloaded tracks and lets me refresh. I’d love an auto refresh in a later version. Definitely, wholeheartedly recommended..Version: 2.17.5

CloudBeatsGreat app easy to connect, spend the cash and get your own music collection..Version: 2.26.1
