✓ Timing made easyOver the corse of my music making life, I've learned to play the piano, I learned all the notes, perfected some songs and preformed numerous times. The one thing I actually had lots of trouble with was timing, then one day I was surfing the internet on my iPod touch and found the app "true metronome" I downloaded the app and it has helped me in so many ways! ✓ Improving my timingI am a visual learner and love this app. The back and forth timing is accurate and it helps to see the movement. Also, I like that you can punctuate the beats by setting the bell tone strikes according to the time signatures. This is helping me correct my timing mistakes and improve my playing. ✓ This is my review of your TrueMetronome app.I’m learning the classical guitar (beginner) and after trying about five other metronome apps, I’ve settled on the TrueMetronome. It is easily the best one I have used (in my limited experience). It has the most realistic sound, looks like a ’real’ metronome and you use it just like the mechanical one - no flashy bells and whistles, pretty colours or annoying sounds. My only wish is that I could change the “ching sound which marks the time signature, but it is okay as it, too, is natural and non-electronic in character . I just gave away a vibrating Brenner watch one to my drummer. But there is something about this that has that “I don’t know”. For some reason a acoustic one always slightly out. However, I accuracy claim seems overblown; I have not noticed any inaccuracy in the other metronome apps I have tried, including Metronome+ and Steinway. Well worth trying, especially if you want a loud, complex tick. I personally prefer Metronome+ because I can tap to set the tempo; a feature I use often.
