I bought a new one recently and decided to install both of these games to my new IPad which had the most recent iOS update on it. To my surprise I am unable to use these apps with the current IOS and the company show no interest in fixing the issue due to the last update being 3 years ago. ✓ Good emulation but lacking full MFI supportI had no issues with the emulation of this classic port. Only problem was lack of full MFI support. I recently upgraded to IOS 13 to use xbox/PS4 controllers and this game does not support the Grenade button (aka Button C). It's a direct port but the joystick controller is awful. I was cursing its existence from moment one. It's not good. I’m either crouching or just standing there pointing straight up. Shooting down a helicopter is incredibly difficult because the joystick has to be in just the RIGHT spot to move and shoot up at the same time. Lets not even discuss the metal slug. ✓ Partial MFI Controller supportOnly two buttons work on my mfi controller. I can’t shoot bombs/ grenades and the FPS seems low on the latest gen IPad Pro 12.9 There’s button configuration, but only for touch screen controls. I can’t map the controller and am stuck using jump and shoot buttons. Also, the jump button is B and the shoot button is A? Why can’t I change any of these settings? No button allows you to continue when you lose all lives. The only button that does anything makes the timer go down... Looks like they didn’t test this one at all, they just threw it on an emulator and released it on IOS. The older version on ipad air works perfectly with my mfi controller (Nimbus), all the buttons are mapped correctly. However, the new version downloaded on iphone now aren’t working with the same controller. The buttons mapping is incorrect and I can’t throw grenades anymore.
