✓ Full Screen HorribleWhy did you change this? My directional buttons on the left are tucked underneath my phone’s unibrow, the gas/break cluster also too far left Full screen mode would be great if you would put the buttons back where my thumbs THINK they are. This game has been a nuisance to play since the fullscreen migration, and I don’t enjoy playing it anymore. My left thumb keeps landing in between the two directional buttons, even caused me to start a new game by mistake losing the progress made since my last save. Unless this just happened to my version, I can’t believe you would release it like this. I’m not a gamer but I would imagine that thumb memory is important. Please, please consider putting them back in place..Version: 1.7
✓ GTA vice cityIt’s a great game this has always been my favorite GTA game since it was the first one I’ve ever played when I started playing GTA its great on the phone there’s just some things I wish you guys could add when fighting none of the civilians say anything how they do on the ps2 they usually have a smart comment they say also when walking or running and you press the attack button the punches don’t do any damage you are virtually swinging at mid air so if that’s all possible to fix I would really appreciate it thank you again I love the game.Version: 1.8
✓ Awesome but I have thought of another idea for this game...GTA Vice City is my favourite out of the trilogy I got with it. I absolutely love this game and I recommend this to everyone who likes these types of games. I thought maybe you could get a phone call from the colonel saying “My daughter wants to see you again, Tommy.” The girl on the boat at the beginning. Maybe she could give you missions too but like where she makes you take her out and stuff. Then she could help you with other missions too once hers are completed. Anyways, best game EVER! ✓ EpicA game that needs no introduction. Although GTA 3 started the format of the game as it is today; arguably this has dated far better as it was Vice City that introduced memorable soundtracks and voice acting talent, with boats, planes and bikes added to vehicles which the player can control. This has improved graphics over the Playstation 2 with more detailed models, a higher native resolution and frame rate, and overall better lighting and effects and added graphical details to the world which were not present in the original. Many of the bugs present in the console appear to have been removed, for better or for worse depending on your view. The soundtrack is amazing; much better than GTA 3 featuring well known 1980's licensed songs. Overall the game is an outstanding technical achievement on mobile; making no compromises to bring you a fully remastered and optimised version of the full game. With customisable, movable and resizable touch controls everyone should be able to find a scheme that suits. A great bit of gaming nostalgia. iPhone X iOS 12.1.4.Version: 1.7
✓ Brings Back MemoriesLoved playing Vice City after High School back in the day on PS2, one thing missing on this app is able to type in cheat codes for weapons, cash etc. Other than that, GTA Vice City is the best!.Version: 1.8
✓ Several bugs to be fixed!I give this game 4 stars for being pretty faithful to the 2002 original. However, there are bugs that need to be fixed. Firstly, sometimes when I get into a car, he camera doesn't move with it, and stays at the place that I got in the car. I can fix this by pressing the POV button when you are in a car, though. I still would like this fixed. Secondly, sometimes when I resume a certain save file, the game remains on a black screen and I have to reenter the game. I do this, only for the black screen to happen again on the same save file. Thirdly, there are times when I shoot my gun in a car, and it won't shoot. Only one shot will work, and the gun will stop working. Fourthly, sometimes in general after a few shots, the gun doesn't shoot anymore. Don't know if this is intentional or if the original did the same. Fifthly, if a car explodes and the screen gets a shaky effect, sometimes it keeps shaking, even minutes after the explosion. Sixthly, when I drive a car up a ramp and the game goes into a slo-mo mode, the camera never goes back to the car and the game is still in slo-mo speed. A lot of issues to be fixed. ✓ A classicVice City is an undisputed classic GTA, with its own self contained personality far distinct from all of the others in the series. My favorite GTA - and the iOS version actually has some features which make the game more manageable than the original, such as replaying failed mission with the click of a button rather than having to make your way to the mission start point over and over on your own. Also the lock on for aiming seems more automated and in most cases this helps but can be frustrating if you can't lock onto a specific target. ✓ Really good tough mechanicsI love this game it's really the mechanics are fun to play. The challenge is very spot on when you die you restart the chapter but since their not that long the game doesn't really feel like it's been sadistic. The game allows to choose your own approach with each mission while using the open world. The characters a funny and unique never clique. But the game has some bugs a the driving can be very floaty. But it's still a good game I give it 10/10 it's not perfect but very good. It's legendary and one of the best games today that holds up compared to modern titles..Version: 1.6

✓ Amazing Classic Game But....This is an amazing game and I love playing it. It is the only GTA game on my phone that wont crash other than GTA 3. I have a few suggestions. Maybe you could add a little bit more events and updates to the game. Like an online or something. Also, can you please add like a place where you could go and buy cars, I mean I have the Car Showroom and have a free racecar but I think that you should do that. I know that some people disagree with my ideas because it would take away the old classic feel to the game so maybe add an option that allowes you to play classic or play new and improved. ✓ Very enjoyable and time consuming game!!The only problem is the controls but the good thing is you can adjust the buttons and make them bigger or smaller. I’ve never played vice city and I thought I should give it a try and I don’t regret it! ✓ Nostalgic Gold in 2019Here because the app asked me to, figure it's the least I can do as a loyal consumer of most things Rockstar... For those of us that were at the right place in time when GTA III/Vice City were released, the gameplay will be way better than you remembered it this time around. ✓ Best mobile game on the App Store; although driving is hardEverything in this game is amazing, the story, the map, the characters, cars, planes, boats, and missions. The only complaint is that every other car (which is non damaged) pulls to the right or left depending on what car it is. Simply: At the main menu, go six buttons across to find ‘options’ and enter options. Tap the first button, ‘controls’ and merely tap ‘restore defaults’. This resets the controller layout and allows the full device width to be used for the controls. If this doesn’t do it, try going to ‘display’ and tapping ‘restore defaults’. While I didn’t need to re-load the app for it to work, it may help. — Thank you so much Rockstar and Wardrum, you’ve done something I resigned to never see... an update for the next gen of iOS devices. This now works exactly as intended and looks beautiful... I now don’t feel i wasted all that money on the entire R* games collection on iOS! Thank you again. ✓ Broken volumeI recently purchased and downloaded grand theft auto vice city. This version was for my iPhone and the volume don’t work or play through the game. Im hoping someone sees this and helps me fix the problem. Not a bad game to be played on my smart phone. I’m not a big fan of the controls either to be played on the touch screen. ✓ GTA at its finestEven years later, this title still holds up as an amazing game. Sure, the mechanics aren’t perfect from the era, but once I rearranged my screen(iPad pro 15”) i was very pleased and felt it was close enough to how I played back in the day. The voice acting is tremendous here with lead Ray Liotta as Tommy Vercetti. Following with greats like Burt Reynolds, Luis Guzman, Danny Trejo, Gary Busey, even somebody like Jenna Jamison shows up. It’s funny how I find myself playing the missions exactly how I did it when I originally played the hell out of this game. Hitting all the familiar spots for health and armor along the way. The last thing I will mention, that I love about this game compared to other Grandtheft autos in the franchise, is the media attention in the stats. If you never knew about this check it out, and then go kill as many people as possible and see what you can do. Search online if you want to find out what each tier takes..Version: 1.7

✓ Vice City = BestSo, Gta Vice City is one of the most memorable and fun games out there. Although, It does have some bugs. First, Whenever you try to get one of the special cars from the sunshine autos and a police is nearby, You will get a police level when you enter the Deluxo, Sabre Turbo, Sandking, And Hotring Racer. So, if you could fix this, it would be good. Next, If you have the accelerometer on, and if you’re in a car, then in a mission or finished a mission, If you hit the gas, the car will uncontrollably go left for NO reason. Sure, you can turn it off to make it go away, but you could still fix this. Another thing is that the hitboxes of trees, (especially palm trees) are quite large, and the problem I have with that is that, When I land a helicopter, then try to fly it again, and the back rotor or the rotor above will get stuck. I sometimes push it about two in-game meters, but the hitbox still prevents me from flying it. So please fix this as well. But even though there are several bugs and more, GTA Vice City Is stil a great game. In the future you could maybe port more Rockstar games onto mobile..Version: 1.8
✓ GTA VC on a M1 Macbook ProGreat game, But the GTA 3 port certainly had more play-testing, Compared to VC with its 'Publicity Tour' mission having a bugged ending if you fail the mission, This has led to me accidentally doing 2 missions at once and corrupting my first save file. Look out for the occasional bugs, But would still recommend. Currently at the Buisness missions before the final one ('Keep your Friends Close...') and I havent found any others. Would like to note down that the GTA mobile ports on M1 Macs require a controller, Which makees the game run like the PS2 versions. Edit: Can confirm the whole game works now, I have finsihed GTA VC and can tell you that 'Publicity Tour' is the only mission you might find any bugs that could ruin your run-through unless you get really indepth with the game. This GTA can run on both PS5 and PS4 Controllers from my experience. I dont know about Xbox Controllers but they should work..Version: 1.8

✓ GTA Vice CityI love this game! GTA Vice City is the first Grand Theft Auto that I ever played, and I was really excited when I found out this game was released for iOS! The game obviously controls a little different(as opposed to playing it with a controller) but obviously it’ll feel different. Something I love about the iOS release is that the game doesn’t put you in first-person mode whenever you want to look around. I will admit that the game can be challenging to play on say an iPod or an iPhone, and honestly the best way to play it would be on an iPad, but that doesn’t mean the game isn’t still playable. But that's on ps2 because the app game doesn't allow cheat codes and it glitches way to much there controls don't work well on iPad and when I have to pass the helicopter picking up bombs mission doesn't work cause camera won't shift to see where I'm going. It's impossible to pass this mission on iTunes but I've passed it on a ps2 and Xbox before many times. ✓ Implausibly terrible frame rate (Update request)Ever since I’ve bought this game and it was my last resort for entertainment and anxiety curtailments, but sadly stumbled across a really fazing issue. I’m playing the game on an iPad Pro, and the frame is capped at 30, and what’s more exacerbating is the unalloyed fact that it sometimes drops to 20 or 15 over the course of Apple updates, completely emblazoning the game with lag, on iPad Pro with M1 chip and 128GB with over 110GB storage present (No pun intended). What’s even more annoying is the fact that we can’t disable the frame limiter through the settings, like seriously how we can enjoy the game if we have to fight with it? For the 5$ I paid, I want a new update in which the game is set to run at 60fps..Version: 1.8

✓ Frame drops on 7 Plus 11.3.1When this was first released, it ran great on the hardware of the time. iPad 2, 4S. It’s ridiculous than on a much more powerful device with an 10 Fusion and much stronger GPU, that frames are dropping like crazy on a game from 2002. ✓ It’s the full game on your phone!It’s the full game, it really is. Hidden packages, rampages, side missions, everything. The on screen controls are fully customizable, you can adjust the size and location. It took a while for me to get used to them but it’s not that difficult. It’d probably be better with a controller. I have the iPhone XS with the latest OS and have not had any issues with crashing as others have reported. I’ve even left the app open overnight and I picked up right where I left off. One new thing is if you fail a mission, a prompt will ask if you want to try again. It’ll start you over so you don’t have to drive back to the guy. But, anything you collected (hidden packages or whatever) will be reset also. When you die or get busted, you keep your weapons! That’s new, and very nice. Not sure if you can cheat on here, haven’t tried yet. Overall I’m very happy I spent the $5 on this..Version: 1.8

✓ Game is good gta is always a good gameThis game is good although it is a little buggy the controls are some what messed up and turning is very hard. Another thing is that my cars are automatically turning right or left only by a little bit. Kinda like Walmart shopping carts. But the story is good although the graphics are not the best but it is expected because this game is very old. Another thing that isn’t a problem with the mobile version but just the game is that the vehicles damage very easy. This is not very ideal since the driving is very very very hard. Since the driving is hard I tried connecting my old Xbox controller and thought the driving would be easier and maybe have the same settings as gta 5 (v). Not at all I also couldn’t change the settings to make them better which was not very ideal since the settings are horrendous. The controls are a little awkward at first, and sometimes they make it difficult to do missions I’d fly through on a PS2. The city is bustling with activity and personality, every man or woman walking the streets has their own dialogue and story, giving the game a realistic feel. The cars are stylish and shiny and every engine purrs like a kitten. The golden beaches stretch for miles and the waters are still and blue. The buildings are tall and colorful whilst the echoing sound of muffled music from nearby nightclubs blasts through the city. ✓ Pretty solid and just like I remembered!It’s April 12th, 2018 and with only about 2 hours of game time, I’d have to say that I’m pleased with the game. I’ve read of some freezing and so far the only “freezing” that happens is if I go to the options menu for more than 10 seconds, upon going back into the game it’ll take about 5 to 10 seconds to refresh and continue playing without any jumping after 10 more seconds. It’s pretty solid now. Fun game, just as I remember it being. The controls are surprisingly simple and mostly easy to use. You can even change the controls in the settings, to include button placement completely customizable with an ability to resize any control button. My only suggestion would be to immerse yourself into the game for a while at a time to prevent possible permanent freezing when going back into the game. I did so probably 5 times and the last time I did so, checking a message on my phone, going back into the game it froze completely. Other than that, it’s a great game! Enjoy!.Version: 1.6
✓ Missing GTA Vice City StoriesThis GTA game is pretty cool but I really feel like we are missing GTA Vice City Stories. I really would like if you added GTA Vice City Stories on mobile because I think GTA Vice City Stories was a great game with the story and the side missions such as taking over the gang business structures. I even finished GTA Vice City Stories and it was pretty good. I’ve noticed you’ve added GTA Liberty City Stories to mobile but I just don’t like it. And one other thing is that cars disappear really quickly, what I mean be this is that when you are facing one direction and you see a car coming towards you and then you turn around and look back to the car and it is not there anymore... Meaning that cars only come from the direction you are looking. He sends Tommy Vercetti to the city after getting him out of jail, and tells him to take hold on the city. ✓ Amazing, but some bugs.Okay, so this game is amazing. The storyline, the music, just everything. Easily one of my favourite games. Edit: Okay, so i have realised some minor bugs. On the radio stations from now and then, it glitches out and you can only hear a part of the radio station. Basically, it goes from normal audio to silence, normal audio to silence etc. Another thing i noticed is that in certain locations around the map, there are driven npc vehicles that drive onto the footpath (sidewalk). Also, the “Wildstyle” radio station has completely stopped playing music, which is definitely a quite big problem..Version: 1.8

✓ GTA+80s+IPad=AwesomeI loved this game 12 years ago when I first played it and this conversion is great. You have to be willing to play around with the settings and control layout but it works fine once you do, I've found a few missions I remember less awkward this time round. It has one of the best soundtracks, characters and story lines of any of the GTAs with a cast list you'd expect from a Hollywood blockbuster. Like all GTAs you have loads of side missions and stuff to find and although it shows it's age when compared to GTA 4 and 5 it's still a pleasure to play through. Given the pace at which mobile/tablet tech is advancing I can't wait to see GTA4 and Red Dead Redemption hit the market and looking at the progress Rockstar has made at converting games to touchscreen I have every faith they will do it brilliantly..Version: 1.6

Makes me want to go find my old ps2 and play the game properly. The analog stick simulator is hard to get used to, makes it hard to be precise while driving or attacking people. Another problem is you can’t change the radio stations. Lastly you can’t use cheat codes. Despite all of that it’s still very enjoyable to pull it up to kill 10 minutes and the load times are much faster than on the ps2. Lol. ✓ Great port! Pair your PS4 controller!Honestly, the game itself hasn’t aged well. But that’s probably we’ve been accustomed to newer games better control options. BUT once you’ve got your controller paired and rewired your brain to remember the buttons (look it up online, I couldn’t find the button layout for controllers in game) the game is tons of fun and nostalgic. Takes me back to playing the game with my high school friends blowing up cars with the tank. The entire soundtrack is there and that too takes me back. I don’t recall some of the missions being as hard as they are but with the controller they’re a little easier but the controls themselves are still a bit clunky. Nonetheless it’s fun game to play while in self quarantine.Version: 1.8

✓ Grand Theft Auto Vice CityI have an IPod Touch 4th Generation and this game has not crashed on me once! Also It has never majorly lagged or lagged for a long time. ✓ Great game, great souvenirs, but no interface flexibility?I recall playing it on my old Windows XP a few decades back (yeah, I’m old) and I loved how we could do pretty much anything with mouse and keyboard, but tapping on an ipad is odd, I wanna move forward and I end up accidentally punching a policeman, I wanna jump out of my car and I get stuck and explode, etc, etc, etc… Drives me nuts! Please, PLLLLLEASE, Maurice, please allow us keyboard configuration for Bluetooth keyboards when one is connected? It’d make a WORLD of difference in moving around easily, targeting and firing, driving, etc… …I’ll even throw in a case of Giggle Cream with it if you do!!! 😇.Version: 1.8

✓ Amazing game, but one problemI would like to rate this game 5-stars because it’s very fun, but recently when the game was loading for me to play, it crashed. I refreshed the game and tried to load the game again, but it keeps crashing and crashing. I’ve tried to restart my device, but it still crashes. I offloaded the app (because I didn’t want to lose its data) and re-installed it again but when the game was loading, it crashed again! Please fix this problem. ✓ GTA on IPad winning!Even better than back in the day as next to no loading time. Controls (I use simulated analogue stick) slightly frustrating at times. ✓ A classic game that can be played on my commuteI loved this when it came out and it is just as good as the original in my opinion. I have completed the missions and a lot of the extra stuff and have had no issues whatsoever. People complain about the controls but you’ve got to remember this is quite an old game now they weren’t great when it was released especially when compared to modern games. This is exactly how I remember it, including the laugh out loud moments. I’ve also completed GTA SA which is great as well. When are we going to get GTA 4 and 5?.Version: 1.8
✓ The game play is amazing for an IOS version.The game is great. It brings me back like when I used to play on the Play Station console. My only issue right now is I paid for this game and it sometimes freezes during game play and then resumes. It crashed on me a fee seconds ago but I can still log back in and play where I left off. Other than the game play seconds freezes, the game is perfect. Controls are easy to use all around. Now I’m experiencing that it won’t play the game anymore. It will show the R and everything else, but when I hit resume game or load my save game. It will just suddenly crash and go back to my home screen..Version: 1.6
