✓ Great app but there is ONE issueWhile I use this app in CarPlay mode, my phone has a tendency t get really warm and then it stops charging until it’s cold..Version: 24.0.0
✓ Not bad for the moneyVery good and affordable navigation app. Accurate maps, speed warnings and all other (or even more than) necessary sat nav functions. The only downsides for me is that I have to log in over and over again and restore my extra purchases if I want to use them ( just like premium and traffic) which is a bit annoying...and the other thing is my iPhone's battery gets pretty warm if I use the app for a bit longer (which is probably more apple's fault...) ****Update**** Newest bug: google streetview link stopped working. Updated the app, reinstalled etc. still nothing 🤔😔.Version: 18.8.4
✓ FilbertFatKnackerGetting the best out of a sat nav is being able to navigate around the app quickly and at first I found it a little hard to find what I needed. Also I have tried this in a tank bag on a motorbike ,through a plastic screen (iphone5c) not sure if it was the phone or the app but it didn't like being laid flat and under the screen. The heads up worked well and easy to see on the bike. My main bug bear is when you touch the screen some times it thinks you want to add a way point and before you know it your heading to Scotland when you want some Cornish sun shine. All in all a good app I have paid for the upgrade and do not regret it..Version: 17.2.3
✓ Great AppToday I was about to travel home from work and I sat in the car and I was wondering if the motorway would be busy with a festival taking place I was amazed to look at my phone app to see it was telling me the motorway was the quickest way to travel with light traffic and it was so accurate. ✓ Some good, some badThis app is great for those that want a truly offline map option and the lane assist is great....in theory. What I don't like is the fact that it waits until under 2 miles to tell you which exit you're looking for, which doesn't give you enough time to get over on some interstates. And quick interchanges are very confusing. I'm talking about those interstate exits that split into multiple lanes for different roads. This app doesn't give me enough information to get into the right lane fast enough. The only way to help this is to make sure you have the sound turned up because the voice seems to give you a bit more information. However, I prefer to drive with voice off..Version: 17.2.2

✓ Map still misrepresents terrainNot sure you can trust this app. Don’t know why but Sygic has shown Auckland Harbor as land instead of water for over a year now as the fault has existed since version 17.2.0. I have raised this with support a number of times have provided detailed fault analysis at their request and been told it would be fixed next version and I would be contacted It still isn’t and they haven’t got back in touch. Earlier versions of this app were correct but not now. Not sure I can trust it when I travel overseas.Version: 17.3.7
✓ Hands down the best GPS systemUsed sygic throughout 20 countries in Europe and when the hire cars' GPS system had us driving in lakes sygic had us on the freeway and heading steadfast towards our journey. Highlight was using it for the transalpina highway in Romania and hectic roads in flood affected Serbia. Saved my life driving at night through the mountain roads of Montenegro when I could not see a thing through the windscreen. The best GPS ever!.Version: 17.2.2
✓ Sygic navigationI used various makes of SAT navigation over the last few years with handheld types to various makes that are stuck to the windscreen. All have made my journey a lot less problematic with directions. So moving from them to phone app is obviously the best option it saves having additional expensive kit in the car or to carry around all day where as the phone is the in piece of kit everyone keeps with them and this my main reason for getting the Sygic app and buying a premium deal. I think it's one of the best apps on the market in this field (no pun intended) it works well for me..Version: 17.2.2

✓ Good, but has CarPlay problemsThe app works well but when using CarPlay as the main display with the instruction list showing on the iPhone, the CarPlay screen and instructions are not in sync. Distances to the next turn don’t line up and the instruction list seems to jump around. Also, the compass doesn’t show on the CarPlay screen and when using EV mode, the battery percentage doesn’t show on CarPlay..Version: 23.5.2
✓ Still too difficult to report an error.No matter how many times I have asked for this to be made easy or even just easier, nothing has changed. It’s so difficult to report an error. And there are many small errors with things like speed limits and speed limit placement signs. For me to go through the convoluted process that Sygic wants me to do … Just thinking about it gives me a headache. And then they want me to get it done promptly! I can’t do it. ✓ New subscription version 20.9.4Purchased the older none prescription version. With US maps it was $100 US. This version works much better! Easier to get addresses into the app and save them. I like the list of gas stations that comes up on my phone now. Phone is cradled right next to the map display in my ST. Maps and verbal instructions are good. I’m on a iPhone 11 with IOS 15. Apple Maps seems to have more business etc but there are loading problems out in the boonies with Apple Maps. Route won’t calculate if your needed maps are not loaded. So figure out which states you need and load them. I have a long trip from Illinois to southern Ca. Once all the maps I needed where loaded it calculated the route just fine. I’d like to have verbal hands free address capabilities. The builtin GPS in most cars has that but it can be frustrating to use. Further comments to came..Version: 20.9.4
✓ Good overallNice app, It takes a while to get the hang of it as the blue lines at the beginning confused me to whether avoid or stick to these. Volume was down though and it all made sense when I heard and saw the instruction. Would suggest to change to green colour though as green is always “go this way”. I travel a lot to different places and I bought the world unlimited version. I’ve just tried it in Spain where in Madrid worked pretty nicely, the only problem was when inside a tunnel with junctions in it as these are not shown (I reckon due to loss of GPS signal) but the commands need a bit of improvement to get in the correct lane. Between Oliva (Valencia) back to Madrid, the app got lost four different times showing junctions that didn’t exist and erroneous turns when is not even possible. The way is very straight forward, very much a motorway where there is only one time at which you need to make a slight turn to move onto another motorway (Barcelona or Madrid). I just ignored the spurious commands but this definitely needs to be looked into as may cause confusion. Once the turn commands were ignored the display reverts back to normal. Also, a heard quite a few times “slight turn” when it was a nearly 90 degree turn. All the best and keep updating and correcting these minor bugs. It’s definitely a worth to have app.Version: 17.4.1
✓ What I think of Sygic mapsI’ve had to load this application as my own personal favourite app is not Apple CarPlay compatible I do love this app & all the benefits with this but miss many of the benefits from Navmii it’s just unfortunate that Navmii doesn’t work with car play as once you have brought all your additional add on’s you have them for life & don’t pay any extra again where as Sygic charge you every year!!!! (Shame on you Sygic) apart from that it’s a nice app maybe Sygic could look int things like where your friends are & other Sygic users are ????.Version: 23.2.1

✓ Very capable app!I use several nav apps on Apple Carplay, rotating them occasionally. I have a Premium+ Sygic account and find it very capable. It has it’s drawbacks though, one of which is the accuracy of speed camera positions, which is woefully inaccurate. However I use a separate camera detector app which makes up for it. On the Sygic website, the description for what’s available with a Premium+ account says there are ‘monthly’ map updates, and yet looking in my settings, my most recent map update is shown as September 2023 and the next update as January 2024. Now even I can work out that this works out at around 4 months between updates, and certainly NOT monthly When paying an annual subscription for a service I do expect the information and indeed the advertising to be correct. I would urge Sygic to check on this misinformation about the Premium+ subscription and either change it or make sure they stick to it !..Version: 23.7.6
✓ Works great most of the timeI’ve been using this for the past 5 years and it’s been working really well and with regular updates with the maps and program. The last few updates have caused the app to crash on me, it happens a few times while driving which is annoying specially when the app automatically closes. Hopefully they fix the problem soon with one of the updates. I paid for the service and works great with my phone as a gps unit. You don’t need phone signal for this to work and you can search locations as well without phone signal, great for those areas with no internet connection..Version: 20.4.12

✓ Generally very useful but ........ recalculation is just terrible nothing like Google and / or Garmin Nuvi which I used to work recently. I purchased the entire version and full package installed on my iPad Mini to avoid purchasing Garmin again (I just smashed mine few weeks ago) and hopefully Sygic Team will improve the quality of its software in a better way..Version: 17.4.6
✓ Disappointed with new versionThis used to the best gps guidance app you could get but it is now mediocre at best. I am very disappointed that the latest “up grade” is more of a “down grade” I have used it since 2013 and found it to so good I recommended it to all my family and friends and to other tourists who I met. For one particular reason, the speed alerts!!!! I researched all the gps apps and this had the best speed alerts above any other one. I drove around Australia and Europe and it always gave me the best warnings when I was driving above the speed limit. It helped me to drive at safer speeds and to avoid inadvertently driving over the speed limit. However, the latest upgrade has removed the speed alert warnings. You still get a small visual warning but you cannot get the Audio warning that was the best among all the gps systems. This was the most outstanding feature of the system! Why did you remove it? ✓ Updated ReviewAfter receiving feedback from the support team the sound now works fine and the App seems quite good. After signing up to TOMTOM life membership and then they Change platform this app is quite good value, only two small points. 1st it did try to send me in a bus lane. 2nd if the speed camera warning sound could happen twice once when coming to vicinity of the camera and once when close would be good. I just downloaded the premium version but have no sound only if I connect a Bluetooth device. Thinking I made a mistake!!!!! ✓ Still the best offline NAV optionFor my particular location, the offline option from Sygic with downloadable maps is the way to go. While Google Maps has offline maps, it won’t go into offline mode even if you have the poorest cell coverage and you end up having to turn off mobile data. The downside to Sygic is the lack of currency even with monthly map updates. For example, newer restaurants and closed restraints aren’t reflected nearly as fast as they are in Google Maps. Overall though, the best alternative when you need offline NAV..Version: 23.5.0
✓ SygicBeen using Sygic for a while now travelling through different countries. Really has some fantastic features such has the ability to download maps when you need them then delete them to save space. Good graphics and works offline. Only downside it is sometimes erratic on point to point information in that it tells you it’s a further distance than you actually are. Lots of common places when you arrive in town it does not seem to know. I don’t know if this is because I use the free version only and not the premium which costs money. ✓ MapsI have used this system in a few countries. Back in 2012 I used it in the USA and Canada. It was our life line. The only negative I had was when you leave the Southern Hemisphere and go to the northern Hemisphere there was nothing to tell me this. I woke up that I had to alter my IPad. ✓ IPhone X and iPad sound problemsWhilst travelling in the USA found that the directional voice support is erratic or does not function or is at a very low volume, which cannot be increased. Sometimes can be started by shutting device down, then restarting, search destination again and press start. Voice support could start at a normal listening level, sometimes??. Sygic say that they are working on a solution for their next update. To get voice support I need to resort to using an unpaid app ‘google maps’ this works every time with full voice support!!! ✓ Always improvingWith the upcoming release of iOS working with CarPlay and being finally being able to use third party apps this will prove to be invaluable going forward. The layout on screen and line guidance proves to be more valuable than say some other GPS apps I’ve used. ✓ Still no CarPlay and unlikely to happenI reviewed this app some time ago complaining that despite Sygic saying they would support CarPlay with IOS12, it had not been updated to do so, unlike Google maps and Waze. I received the standard response that it was being worked on, be patient and it was down to Apple to approve the app. So some months later, I notice my review has been removed, which I presume means the comment to be patient is no longer valid and in fact the app is not going to be updated neither will the train option to transfer to the new app which does support CarPlay will be offered. This is very poor customer service and am really disappointed that I wasted money on an app and a promise that will not arrive. Shame on you Sygic !!.Version: 17.4.6
✓ CarPlayThis app is fantastic. Easy to use and runs smoothly. The only issue I have is that unless you read the really small print at the end of the page to purchase they don’t really tell you that apple CarPlay is an extra cost and after I purchased I found this out and found that it’s way overpriced. ✓ Brilliant app, a must haveI absolutely love the app, I’ve had the life time licenses for quite some time. I use the app religiously instead of the car satellite navigator as the app offers far more tools to get to my destination, and I have the use of map updates three times per year. Only one problem, I keep receiving email offers and notifications to purchase the 12 month subscription which offers regular monthly updates on maps and the only thing I have missing from the cockpit that I would probably never use. Why would I want to give up my lifetime license to pay on a yearly basis purely for map updates..Version: 20.9.0

✓ Nice features but crashes too easilyI like the features, some of the more beneficial ones are payable add ons which when compared to Waze might put some people off but the functionality is good. Has car play which is a great bonus. My one problem with it, is that it calculates fine when stationary but crashes every time when you want to alter your destination during the route. It would also be far better if the app would allow you to do the “ reporting “( traffic etc) through car play. Without that in CP it seems a little backward. I’m running an I phone with the latest IOS and the app was downloaded on 4/6/20 so everything is as up to date as can be. If the crashes can be fixed, it increase to 5.Version: 18.7.0
✓ Sygic car navigationWow! Last 4 years on tom tom for iphone and thought that was ok. Now forced to look elsewhere and thanks tom tom for making me look. This map is so easy to read. Had so much trouble with tom tom's small lane guidance. Being colour blind (read deficient) doesnt help, but this sygic is sick! So clear, nice big lanes. Just want to remove POI's from map. ✓ Great but a couple of bits.I’ve been using for a couple of months now after purchasing premium with CarPlay. I like how it looks compared to other navigations. Everything works as it should and would definitely recommend. But a couple of things I’d like to see..... The voice is pretty bad, very robotic compared to some other which are more fluent. Maybe I’m missing it but can see any option to change voice from male to female etc. I’d definitely prefer female. Anyway currently I have to have it off because I just don’t like the voice. Also in a recent update the road speed limit sign was made smaller. I think it needs a bump back up to how it was. I don’t like it being smaller than the speed I’m travelling. Would like to be informed if the route I’m travelling has traffic or road works so I could avoid. Also I’d like the app to automatically provide taps on Apple Watch like maps and google maps does. To do it currently you physically have to start the app on Apple Watch and even then it didn’t seem to really work great. Lastly would like an option on the CarPlay screen to tell the route that has been choose contains a road block. For example the quickest route to work for me means going through a ford which I can do. And an option to provide user feedback, for example the speed limit is wrong on one of the roads I often drive. Other than that it is my fav CarPlay app. Traffic is always up to date and acurate..Version: 17.9.2
✓ Good interfaceLove the live view plus the dash cam it’s magic. I don’t understand some of the symbols that come up. Some look like the Plex icon!! When I come up to a roundabout a blue square displays a number no idea what that is. I have been using it for a couple of weeks, so far I like it. ✓ Just one feature I’d like - clean air zone rerouteMy 2014 Mercedes diesel, despite being far more efficient than most petrol engines that don’t have to pay congestion charges, is excluded and thus I have to pay congestion charges. What I’d like to see is a feature that aims to circumvent these clean air zones. For example, though I occasionally go there, Birmingham has plenty of clean air zones, and unless you know the ins and outs of the city (such as my dad) Sygic will guide you right through these zones. Perhaps it’s too difficult a feature to implement, but I think a collective effort involving the users as well as the devs, could make this a reality, and as far as I’m concerned, this app could walk all over everyone else..Version: 23.7.2

✓ Excellent!I was looking for a GPS app that would allow me to use maps offline. Google Maps was a nightmare for this because of the very limited radius each downloaded map would allow. However Sygic is the complete opposite. I was able to download an entire ‘map’ of Australia and I paid a small amount to have the voice direction activated. ✓ Trouble with suburbs in AustraliaI used this app a few years ago while working in a delivery job and I loved how convenient and easy to use the app was I've recently started a new delivery service job and I'm having problems, suburbs in my area are not shown, for example I could search for a 27 smith street Sydney (there are multiple smith streets in Sydney) but it will not show the particular suburb in Sydney it will just show the multiple smith streets in Sydney without showing suburbs which is very confusing. It shows how close you are to it by showing the distance away from you in KM but it would be much easier if it would just say the particular suburb. Other than this I love the app!.Version: 17.2.2

I have to can it, and restart the app again. 2. On longer trips, it regularly gets into a freeze condition, where it insists that I activate the speech mode, which I don't want to. Elle nous apporte du point A au point B avec une bonne panoplie d'option d'itinéraire. Pourquoi 4 étoiles au lieu de 5 ? Simplement puisque je suis légèrement insatisfait de la cohérence des indications de positionnement des voies. Parfois les indications ne sont pas très précises. ✓ RequestA very good app. I have used it Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia and haven't had any major problems. Is there anyway the highlighted words in green to be changed to other colours. Quite difficult to read the embossed green words to be read in a green background. Ha, what a disappointment as in the latest download, point to point navigation has disappeared. It requires the person to be in the actual place for navigation to where he wants to go. Now to plan a trip in Thailand is impossible or from any other place. It is also impossible to note the distance more to cover from the current position. Somehow the past seemed to be perfect and latest improvements have only worsened with the updates. They should maintain the old features of the program in the changes and not delete them. Your green embossed letters on green background is if no use as it cannot be read. ✓ A disappointing “Follow the Route”The “follow the route” is very annoying, you will not know your next turn till the last minute or 1-2 miles before it tells you the name of the exit of your next turn. In this case its very hard to prepare your next route or especially if someone will ask you whats your next turn? Because it doesn’t show up on your screen constantly. This is my only problem with this app and its very annoying. AGAIN VERY ANNOYING “FOLLOW THE ROUTE” instead of showing the name of your next turn!!!!! ✓ FantasticoI like the app and it works smooth. The only difficulty I have is to get the address right as it does not support search via postcode. Every time I struggle to find the exact address or have to google for GPS coordinates and use it here, it's not fair to get gps coordinates from the internet always. Another option which is essential/mandatory is to enable the app to search online if not found in maps rather than just staying its not found / go to maps section. Also I would like to have the feature of voice over Bluetooth. Every other app on the market does support this feature whereas Sygic doesn't..Version: 17.2.2

✓ Doesn’t need mobile data connection! Great everywhere.We used Sygic for two years touring the western USA in a Sprinter Van type RV. Other than downloading maps, it does not need cell data for navigation. Even in the desert where there was no cellphone reception, and therefore no Google or Apple maps, Sygic never failed us. The app keeps getting better and better with updates and features like head up navigation on your windshield — which is so helpful driving at night. Much better than a Garmin or Rand McNally dedicated GPS. On the iPads you get an amazing large navigation screen, unlike a small GPS screen. ✓ BEST of the BestThis is the best navigation for any mobile phone. It works so perfectly on my iOS 11 pro max. I’m one of the pioneers of Sygic because I’ve been using it it was introduced. I thank the developers of Sygic for their work; putting everything together where all others like Garmin, Tomtom, Google, waze or Apple maps failed. People rate google, waze and Apple maps as good but for someone like me who uses these apps regularly due to my work on a daily basis. ✓ Nothing ComparesI have used this all over the world. From South Africa to Russia it does the business time and again. It is a dedicated SatNav on all iPhones. Meaning you do not need any cellular or Wi-fi to navigate with Sygic, unlike Apple or Google maps. All iPhones and iPads that have cellular capability (even if there is no SIM card in place) have the antennae to use satellite navigation. So Sygic is my go to SatNav on my iPhone and iPad mini. Nothing else is required. And where I want to go I have Sgic to follow. It is robust and accurate and has some amazing add ons. ✓ Good, but search engine, gps coordinates, zoom level in CarPlay needs improvementI have purchased premium + plan. This app is good specially for dynamic lane guidance and HUD. But it does not show up any traffic ( I am located in Canada, GTA area). I see few things still missing. They are mentioned below : 1. Accurate search : while searching in-app text, mostly I don’t find the accurate location or location not found as a result. Is that app can be integrated with google’s powerful search engine which can give accurate location in next update ? Also gps coordinate should be set accurately to its actual location on earth. 2. Responsive zoom: Zoom level needs to be improved. Car play zoom does not show the route lay out even slight far ahead distance since car play display is land scape, not like mobiles’s portrait mode. Zoom quality needs to be improved to sharp and crisp display. I have used several nav apps so far. After analyzing all app features, I can say If those are included in their update plan, this app would be the best navigation app. Otherwise all are good. Good job team. Keep up good work. I just gave 4 stars because those updates are still missing, if those are included in near fuel tire update, I have to give you 10 star...Version: 22.2.2

✓ Excellent replacement to separate sat navGood sat nav, much more reliable than google or Apple maps. The only issues I had was that I couldn’t just buy a map for the uk, had to be the whole of Europe. I’ll never drive abroad so seems a waste of storage space, but not a deal breaker. I also noticed the app crashed a couple of times while using it (about 0.01% of actual use) but you can reopen it and it will ask if you are still on the same journey and it restarts you from wherever you are so again not a deal breaker but perhaps a bug to look at. ✓ Value for moneyI purchased the premium edition and webcam add on a month ago and have used both regularly during this period. Pros. Navigation works well within Australia from my limited use at time of writing. Love the way you can turn off and on and custom set alerts and notifications. Customer support was quick and addressed my issues within a few hours of sending email request. Very impressive. Cons With dashcam and navigation on it drains battery power even when plugged into the car power supply. Should be noted that this is more likely a function of the phone (iPhone 6s) and not the software. Dashcam file takes a long time to save to photos you need to be patient when saving and no close the app as I have done. Personally I would like a bit more contrast if on the map details I find it difficult to pick out the roads from the background on the map unless their is a route running. ✓ Best offline maps appWe used the free version of this app for 100% offline navigation around several European cities without issue. It’s not perfect as it does have the tendency to crash on occasion and gives directions that could be a little more efficient but if you’re cheap and don’t want to pay for mobile data while abroad, this app is better than the rest. We tried Google, Here We Go, Apple Maps and a few others to no avail as those apps still needed connectivity to function. ✓ Bugs in latest versionI have been a user for many years. I recently bought an APPLE Car Play device and paired my iPhone XS to it. I love it and loved how Sygic worked on it UNTIL the newest update in June '19 released allowing automatic dashcam operation. Everything crashed. The APP. And My music on Apple Music won’t play when using Sygic and also crashes. The only work around is not to use Dashcam at all when linked to CarPlay. the large sum of money I paid to use the app with CarPlay is now worthless. Here's hoping there is a bug fix in the next update. For now, don’t buy it..Version: 18.1.0
✓ Happy customerExcellent navigation app. I bought this as I travel a lot across Europe, and needed an improvement on Google Maps as this app does not tell you what the speed limit is. It makes the route very clear and the lane guidance is especially helpful. I also prefer the male voice tone in comparison with Google Maps. The only downside is that it's not as good as finding attractions as Google Maps, so this is an area that could be improved. However, this has led me to discover something significant. I will often use Google Maps initially to find the address of a place so I can then enter it into Sygic. On many occasions, Google Maps DOES NOT TAKE YOU THE SHORTEST ROUTE AND YOU WILL SAVE GAS MONEY BY USING SYGIC. For instance, yesterday my ETA from Google Maps was 19 minutes, but when I typed the address into Sygic the time was 10 minutes. Almost half the time saving, less mileage and less fuel expenditure. This is a regular occurrence. I have no affiliation with Sygic, just try it and you will see for yourself. ✓ Excellent Offline NavigatorI’ve recently returned from 3 weeks travelling in New Zealand. I downloaded this app (the free version where the downloaded maps only last for a certain time) before I left as I didn’t want to pay the data charges on my phone plan. I have to say that the app was brilliant and got me anywhere and everywhere in NZ - even onto unmade roads in the middle of nowhere - all for free. I relied on it 100% and it never let me down. The only times I went wrong was when I missed a turn it suggested, as the free version doesn’t have turn by turn voice navigation, and I was too busy talking to notice the map! I stopped off at Hong Kong on the way, and was able to use it while walking around the city, or to find my way back to the hotel. I can say without doubt that it’s a great app. I’m definitely now going to buy the full lifetime version, as I’ve planned trips to Amsterdam and Cyprus already this year. It’s comforting to know that if I go away in holiday anywhere in the world and hire a car or take a cab, that I know exactly where I’ll be going. All for no data charges!.Version: 17.3.5
✓ Impressive navigationI love this app and the available add ins. The roads local to me have had serious changes and they were on the map within days of being completed. My wife's sat NAV is still waiting for a new map update!!!! Easy to use and great navigation. I love the HUD at night, a brilliant idea, yes you pay extra for this but it means you never take your eyes off the road. Another great idea is photo navigation, find the photo of the place you want to go and route is planned for you, what a simply fantastic idea. Wish I'd found this app a lot sooner.Version: 17.4.0
✓ Money grubsI’ve been a Sygic user since it first came out (was the most expensive app at that time) and now a lot of the features I paid for have been removed and are part of the premium package only. I used to recommend it as a valuable app to have and many friends and colleagues have added it over the years.
