✓ Great mapEverything workers great but I can't get rid of the black label that tells me where I am at all time. Even when I touch the map elsewhere to get rid of it. It comes back up after a few seconds. The arrow is good but the black strip with the guy on it just blocks roads and names I want to see. Otherwise is has great traffic detail. Finding places close to you works great as well. They just have to get rid of the street view guy and his label..Version: 4.3

✓ Almost perfectThis is another app that has improved immensely since first released. The annoying image curvature in street view is gone and pages are displayed fast. It's the closest there is to the original maps app apple discarded and it's heaps better than the offering from google. Street view is handle very well with this app ... this one instantly shows when a street view is available for a pinned location, rather than the hit and miss option with dragging and dropping the little yellow man from the top of a page. Only one small flaw ... would be great to be able to permanently set the app to always open on a view option other than the default 'map' selection..Version: 2.2
✓ Works like a charm!It's great to finally have Street View on my iPhone 4S and iPad Mini. None of the issues that others have complained about. Street View and POI are reasonably up to date for my area (est. Spring 2012, the same as Google Maps on PC). Navigating in Street View not as nice as on the PC, but no complaints as it has more to do with the small touchscreen, not the app..Version: 2.1

✓ Road tripI found this app very useful as I was traveling from the uk to Spain I originally used a garmin satnav but as I entered France the sat nav took us to Belgium so I used my phone and quietly disposed of my satnav on a mountain top ( might still be there ) but after I set it up it took no time in finding the correct route and I was in my hotel in Spain on time.Version: 4.1.1

The google phone app is too small for me to zoom out and get a perspective on where I'm headed.i liked the original native google ipad app and this is about as good as it gets. ✓ Worth every pennyAs an armchair traveler I love this program. I use it to look at everything. It is super fast and super efficient ; now they have had to add a fee due to Google charging fees for their access but for me it's totally worth it. Google maps has certain limitations and this program lets me do Street view with a lot of functions that I can't do the other way. Some people on the Internet whine if they ever have to pay a subscription and I try to avoid them too but in this particular case it is worth every penny. ✓ Love it!I love the pointer that shows which direction you are going, when streetview cruising. I have an idea that I've been looking for, for years: ok, so you place a mark on a map, then a second mark, and then get all the info that you would get if you typed in addresses in the "to" and "from" fields... Such as, distance between points, directions from one point to the other, option to label points, etc. this way, if we are already looking at a place on the map, we can set a point there, just like we can on regular maps, HOWEVER, we can set a second point, and opt to get directions from the first point to that second point. I don't know how many times I've had to copy and paste addresses when it would be easier to tap and get directions. You can name it iPoints..Version: 4.1.1
