✓ Videos not updatingI like Fox 26 for weather and their TV staff does a great job. For some reason though the app is not updating with the latest video clips, which is why I downloaded it in the first place. For example, this morning I wanted to watch a video forecast for how Tropical Storm Nicolas will affect my area, but the video on there is from 11 days ago where they’re talking about Hurricane Ida. The app is otherwise fine, but again there are a plethora of weather apps out there, some better, where I can read the forecast, so the value for me was to be able to come here and see a quick weather clip that summarizes what’s going on (ie such as when you’re watching the news and the weather comes on. If they could do one of these 2-4 times per day and then upload to the app I’d use it more..Version: 5.3.400

✓ Why this FOX app not like it used to be?I’ve used this app for many years but in the last 3-6 months is not as reliable. I recently deleted it and reloaded; still not functioning well. The radar isn’t up to date compared to ABC channel 13 radar or National Weather Radar. It also flashes and will not show all the thunderstorm cells/rain, but there will be storm tracks and lightning symbols all over. It’s just not reliable anymore..Version: 5.8.501

✓ Promotions are a scamI like me F26 weather. But occasionally it pops up a promotion that links to a supposed Amazon questionnaire that in turn links to a game where you can “ win “ an ipdad. If you win you pay $5 shipping. Well I won, entered my CC info and immediately got charged $57. Luckily Mastercard has the merchant in its fraud database & I was able to decline he transaction. ✓ TerribleNot sure why the app has to reload every time you open in. Could be a second or a month. It takes forever to open. Then while you’re there, it gives the most inaccurate “forecast” if you’d call it that. Half the time it doesn’t even work. Used to think the Apple weather app was terrible. ✓ Bad update to 5.8.411Since the latest update (5.8.411) has come out, significant issues have started. The most significant is the radar renderings will blink on but mostly stays off when you open the app without killing the app after the prior use. The only fix I’ve found is to kill the app and relaunch it every time I want to look at radar. More than a little annoying..Version: 5.11.501
✓ Nice option to TWC, but...Occasionally has odd errors and crashes but it’s a very good option the horrible resource hog that is The Weather Channel. I use it about 75% of the time now. Will eventually see it as a replacement to TWC fully. When I can give it 4 stars it will win..Version: 4.7.901
