✓ TerribleThis sniper is awful. I tried downloading my watch list several times and wouldn't download, so I then had to enter an item manually. When it came to the last 15 minutes of the snipe I had both the sniper app and eBay app open to make sure there would be no issues. I lost the snipe even though I had my maximum bid set $2.00 higher than the winning bid. The winning bid had been set several minutes before the bid was over so it wasn't just another sniper out-sniping me. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone..Version: 0.21.3

✓ Used to work greatI have used this app for years. It used to work great, perfectly, flawlessly. Since they did some sort of upgrade and are now charging for higher snipes it’s not working well. I’m having difficulty importing my watchlist, and when it does import the list it includes items I’ve deleted. It gets stuck and won’t let me refresh my watchlist. When I can put in a snipe it still seems to work well but most the time I’m not able to access items to be able to set up a snipe. I see others have this problem as well and their concern was dismissed by the developer..Version: 2.2.45
✓ Lifetime license = worthless. Bait and switch tacticsBought a lifetime license years ago and now there is a charge for using the service. I have 8 credits. One credit for one bid. I have 8 bids. Thanks!! What you should do is honor the fact that those that bought this years ago and let us use app with no extra charge. Instead now buy every bid. Horrible business practice. ✓ Worthless AppI honestly couldn't be more disappointed with a measly $2 app. Does NOTHING that it claims. I lost out on over $300 savings for an item I've been waiting for for months. Sent their "support" an email explaining the app failed to place a bid that would have won the item, and all I got was a canned response saying "sorry it looks like that happens when eBay gets busy on Sundays but everything looks good on my end and everything is fixed"...same EXACT email a buddy of mine got when he lost out later on in the day. Not going to ask iTunes for my $2 back, all I ask is that no one wastes there $ on this "product" and goes through what I just did..Version: 0.19.6
✓ Very amateur - don't waste your moneyI can't believe I paid for this. Very basic UI: no images in the list of items being sniped, very poor display of item details and if you go to the eBay page it assumes you live in America. (Hint: my iPhone and iPad know where they are so can certainly figure out what country they are in). ✓ Tech support is a STALKER BEWAREI have lost multiple items even though I was the highest bidder. I contacted Tech support and got a STALKER. He not only couldn’t help me but, He has emailed me 14 times after I told him not to write me back. My problem is the app keeps disconnecting from Ebay and I asked what could be causing this, it’s happened over the last couple of years. He said that it’s not possible. I sent him a screenshot of the last time it happened in May and he said that has nothing to do with this, That was back in May. That’s when i said don’t reply to me anymore. 14 emails later do yourself a favor and Stay Away! ✓ What a con!I bought this app a few years ago for £7. It was one of the best apps out there and I recommended it to family and friends. Since update I now need to pay for snipes. I do not now how the developer can get away with this, as I bought it because of the free snipes. At the time there were plenty of free, even better apps that required you to buy bids. Feel totally conned at this change of goal posts. I feel there will many more disgruntled users...who will now take their business elsewhere!.Version: 0.25.3

✓ In my opinion bad developers. Negative star neededI bought this app when it first came out for the apple products. It was 4.99 for the app. Well when buying it you was suppose to receive lifetime use of the app. Then the developers decided to change it and make it to where you have to pay for sneak bids on eBay. I don’t think that is fair for people that bought the app. Also yes they are like we give you 500 credits to use. I am like no that isn’t even right. What if I decide to use it or run out. ✓ Don’t change your Ebay passwordIf you change your eBay password you will no longer be able to log into this app. It will not recognize your new password, it will only recognize your old one even though eBay does not recognize the old one making the app useless. The developers have been told about this and they do not have any useful solutions other than creating a new eBay account. I’ve been using the same eBay account for 18 years and I do not plan on starting a new one just for this..Version: 0.25.2
✓ No longer unlimited, despite paying for itThe goalposts have unfortunately changed with this one - I initially enjoyed unlimited snipes, and to be fair the app was very good at it. There now appears to have been a change of business model, but with no notice given to existing purchasers. You now have to pay for snipes, which is effectively double-dipping my pocket. ✓ Terrible!!This used to be my favourite App until recently. I have lost out on 8 auctions in the last few days, simply due to this App not always gaining access to my ebay account. I get an error message on the unsuccessful snipe saying there were password problems....despite me not having changed my password and some snips in between the unsuccessful ones accessing ebay just fine! The App developers tryy to blame ebay, but I can log in and out of ebay and make bids manually without problem. Waste of money and I'm now looking for a reliable alternative App. Avoid!!!.Version: 0.18.4

✓ Bid sniper for ebayUsed to be excellent since a couple of updates just started using again and found out that the application charges you to bid now a bit stupid if you ask me for a free application it has ruined it had to uninstall it please fix it as it was excellent would have given five stars but for now properly just one as it does operate as doesn't crash.Version: 0.23.1
✓ Placed a bid after I selected not to!Purchased this app today because I wanted to bid on a very expensive eBay item. I entered my amount and clicked to activate my maximum bid. The bid was supposed to get placed 5 seconds before auction end (which was about two hours later. I checked a few minutes later and saw that the app was incorrectly showing the latest price for the item. And I was already re-thinking buying the item on eBay and potentially dealing with a fake.... So I clicked to turf off the "activate snipe" feature. Imagine my shock when an hour or so later I got an email from eBay confirming my bid! Good news is that someone bid just $20 more than my maximum, so no real harm done, but still..... Update -- I checked the auction log -- bidding was in $25 increments, but the bid the app entered for me was my max bid, which was $172 above the last bid placed before mine. Also, my bid was placed 7 seconds before the end of the auction, not five. That makes a difference, considering that I got the app to make the bid at the last possible second!.Version: 0.18.4

However, very recently I am now prompted to buy snipes where as in the past this fundamental feature was part of the overall original cost. ✓ Unstable when purchasing snipes.I happily used up my 20 free and went to purchase 50 more. After entering my App Store password, it crashed. I opened it again and it asked me to confirm my purchase. I hit "buy" and proceeded to set snipes. A few hours later I get my receipt and it shows I was charged more than once!! I contact app support and the person was combative and said "why you say it charge you 2 times when you no get receipt yet"... Umm I had the receipt, forwarded it and was told to deal with apple. ✓ Don't bother!Maybe it was me not knowing how to use this app but even tho it said if I have an email address linked to me eBay account I would get emails about my snipes, I never got a single email. I didn't win a single snipe even tho 2 of 3 snipes were higher than the item sold for. One of the reasons is that my paypal isn't linked to my eBay. Except it is! ✓ Keeps crashing!This is a great app when it works, but I've had to re-install it twice as it has frozen when opened. I was strongly considering buying the full version but am put off by the freezes and will wait for an update. It also takes a bit of getting used to the format of the displayed auctions..Version: 0.16.4
