Pacer Pedometer & Step Tracker for Positive User Reviews

Great app to use to get fit and organiseI’ve been using the app on and off for over 2 years. I mainly use it for counting my steps, but it’s so much more than that. You can use it to assist you in getting organised as a assistant with following your heart rate, steps, weight. It’s always getting improved with added functionality over the years I’ve used. It’s also got a coach to help you motivate you and organise. Highly recommended!!!.Version: 3.8.5

Amazing. Love it.The best part is getting balloons when you achieve your goal. It’s a great app..Version: 8.12.1

Really good!I have used this app for several months now. I have health conditions that prevent me from exercising or walking without feeling completely exhausted, so this app helps me on days that I feel able to go for a walk. I get enough out of the free version of this app. If I was more active I may have upgraded to the paid version, but to be honest, I think you can get what you need out of the free version. You can set a daily goal of steps you want to achieve and also set up a group to see how others in your group are doing. I have set up a private group with just myself and my sister. No one else can join the group as I have set it as “private” and it’s invisible to anyone doing a search. You can also join in other groups and there are regular monthly competitions. It’ll also map your route so you can reflect on your progress. Brilliant app and glad my sister recommended it to me. Thank you pacer..Version: 3.9.9

Great app that doesn’t harass you!Pacer does all I need - record my personal walks each day. It’s free if that’s what you need and it doesn’t bug you about upgrades or subscriptions. It has a heap of other features that I might use but let’s ease into it! Easy user interface as well..Version: 6.8.2

Very accurateI find the GPS is spot on when I track my runs. I really like the reminders at either distance or time. And the splits and height that are captured are really useful. Only recently started running again and all the free options work well for me. I was ideally looking for a replacement for moves so tracking my gps at all times unless I explicitly turn it off. So sometimes I go for a hike and forget to start tracking at the beginning..Version: 7.10.2

TravLuv this app It’s helped me to track my progress as I get back into more daily exercise Really like how it gives you an update on how far you have ran/jogged or walked and your time at intervals that you can set to your liking Also luv how it keeps your history so you can compare how much you’re improving on distance, time , speed (and more) So simple to use - I really recommend this app to anyone of any fitness level.Version: 6.3.2

Great for tracking your walks and runsThe app does what it says. It will count your steps, calculate your calories used, track your walks and runs, share or not share as you prefer, and pass the info to other Health apps if you want it to. I’ve used it for years. It keeps getting better. I love it. It’s helping me to get fitter..Version: 3.9.12

It all begins with the first stepI love this app. Why? Because it has motivated me to become a very active older person.. In the past I always looked for the short cuts and I would let my grandchildren get things for me or make excuses that I was to old and sore to walk to the park. Now! I’m eager to go. I look forward to taking as many steps as possible and I always take the longest rout in order to get those 10,000+ steps in. As a result, I’ve become fitter and even lost a few kilos... thanks pacer.Version: 8.11.2

Great App, One FlawI find this app very easy to use and informational for many reasons. Just create an account and provide a little bit of info like your weight and height, then start using the app. What I love about this over the default Apple Health app on my iPhone 6 Plus is that you can record your nutritional data which is very nice because I can just scan a barcode and it automatically inputs the food item. If a friend of mine asked me “What’s a good fitness tracking app I can download?” I would definitely recommend this app. The thing I find most helpful with this app is the ability for recording your walk or run via GPS and mapping the route. The only flaw I feel this has is that you have to pay for a couple of things with a premium subscription..Version: 8.11.1

Best app ive usedAwesome just use it went from 8k steps to 20k in a few months.Version: 8.12.1

Pacer (free use app)The free app which I used before Pacer was problematic and frequently halted tracking the walk before the end of the walk. I use Pacer once or twice a day to record the walks I take with my dog. I begin the walk and I put my iPhone in my pocket and because of the reliability of the program, I forget about the tracking. It is ever so satisfying to reach for the phone at the end of the walk, stop the walk and save it. And to view the data of pace and timed duration, as well as the picture created by the path of the walk on the map - sometimes I like to “share” via text or on FB and Pacer let’s me do that easy-peasy. I wish I could warn the reader of this review away from the other “free app” I used before Pacer, but it’s been so long since I made the switch, I can’t remember the name. And with Pacer (in its current free version on my phone), I don’t need another program to track my walks..Version: 8.12.1

Pacer in Albuquerque, New MexicoMy sister, who is a 1st Grade Teacher In Los Angeles County, recommended the app. Teaching virtually this spring she had flexibility during the day to walk. My Sports & Wellness gym closed in March. Looking for a place to incorporate some sort of exercise apart from busy public parks, I began walking the perimeter of two cemeteries, one of which my parents are buried. I had no idea how far I was walking. My sister suggested Pacer. Now I know! One hour to one hour and fifteen minutes equals three miles. The cemetery walking began in April. I have been walking religiously ☺️ three miles at least three times a week since. After my walk, I lay a blanket at my parents marker and stretch. I look forward to looking at my Pacer total when I lay the blanket down and report it proudly to my parents. 🙏.Version: 5.6.1

Great app , needs to acknowledge gradients walked.Great little app the wife and I use. However on a recent holiday to Madeira we have realised that the app doesn’t really take into account any gradients walked verses time taken, it takes a lot more calories to walk up a 1 in 4 hill at a good pace. Adding a gradient walked capability enhancement would turn a great app into an excellent app. Additionally I would really like the app to recognise I have started walking again after a pause, the number of times I forget to press resume. It wouldn’t take much to recognise I am walking again and take pause off..Version: 8.4.1

Good for step tracking etcIt’s a great and simple app to use if your looking for an app to track your steps..Version: 7.8.1

Free versionThe app arrived with a daily target set, of 10,000 steps a day. If it is true that 10,000 a day provides a short term boost to immunity, then this app certainly helps you achieve it. I started by changing my target to 7,500 a day but after a year or two raised it. For six months I averaged 11,000 a day in each week, though some days I don’t have time to reach even 10K. One page used to compare your score to all others, giving a percentage (mine is better than 90%) which encourages, so long as you are doing well. That seems to have gone now. But actually, Coronavirus was a stronger motivation! At first the app keeps trying to get you to pay monthly for the premium version, always asking at the most inconvenient time. And they only let you write a review like this if you first say you are willing to rate it 5 stars. For those reasons, I give it four, which it lets you do. Thank you, Pacer. Your free version is helpful..Version: 8.7.2

Believe it or not....This is my first ever, from the heart comment in my 40 yrs, so please be gentle with the comments. 😋 This app has been a great tool for me in the 2-3 months since I downloaded it. It’s really great for keeping me motivated, even when I’m ready to quit and give up. I don’t really know why, but this app is great for implementing life changes (at least so far 😉). From what I’m told, these changes will be the foundation to my weight loss and success thereof(?). Not to mention what I can’t do with this app, I can easily do on other apps. PERK - they all easily link together AND THE BEST PART is that the apps will communicate with each other and share info with each other. Using the apps together to review results in text, graph, charts, theories, suggestions, etc., I’ve been able to see my strengths & weaknesses in not only my health, but life patterns as well. I find myself mostly empowered to make these changes as a single parent of 4, FT-employee, friend and so on. And when I just want to throw my hands up in the air and say “f” it all, together, but still at different times, these four apps’ messages become more encouraging and I find the willpower to get back up on the horse (I suppose that would be the scale in this case🧐). This app, (and the others) is a total 5 star app to me..Version: 3.9.0

ReviewWith encouragement from a friend, I decided to join up, only yesterday. Already I’ve pulled out all stops to kick up the walking regime. How couldn’t you when you get audio updates every 5 minutes to see how far you’ve come!! It even had me jogging and my 10,000 steps turned into nearly 12,000! I am on holidays so this is a slightly different scenario yet with a full exploration of the functionality of this app, I can really see myself going places! THANK YOU PS Comment some 3 to 4 months later, this app still delivers and continues to be a way for me to keep being active on a daily basis..Version: 3.9.4

BrilliantA great tool for keeping you honest when you walk highly recommend.Version: 8.4.1

Pacer keeps track of how far I walk & I also walk our 3 small dogs that keep me going!Keeps good track of how far I’ve gone then shows the days before exact distance.. Sunday Jan 21st 2024, was one of the first days it wasn’t in the single digits & I’m hoping it’ll be warmer this coming week. When it was below zero I couldn’t take my dogs out walking & that’s what gets me up & going. Without them I’d probably not walk as much as person my age does. Altho I’ll be 71 in a few days.. meh 😑.. but I think age is only how you make it & how you feel. I notice that there’s some things I can’t do like I did a few yrs ago, but still can lift 50 lbs if I’ve gotta? Anyway, writing about this bc it’s been so cold for the last couple wks, that I wasn’t able to go out much! Living in Montana you have to deal with long dark & cold winters! So I wouldn’t advise anyone who lives in a warm region to move here unless you like to ski, 🏂 🛷 or ⛸️ Otherwise can be certainly DEPRESSING!! So many ppl who live near the Arctic take their lives & this isn’t anything I’d want anything to do!!! Just saying incase you’re planning on moving to our state? I know the last couple sentences don’t apply to fit bit, but I thought I’d share my experience from living here all my life...Version: 8.12.1

My tractorWhen I first used this app it worked brilliant but yes BIG BUT it’s been going down hill, 1 in September I walked 1-30 days come the end of the month to get my badges I worked hard to get pacer told me I only walk 16 days BULL, 2 I have uninstalled this app so many times I feel sometimes is it worth adding it because it’s having so many problems it’s having an a fact on me because it’s not working right at the minute it’s not counting miles I do like I walk 6 miles it’s only counting 2.1/2 then the pacer stops working it’s so unfair I have wrote to pacer but all I get is someone will looking into it and get back to me but they don’t 🤬🤬🤬. I’m disabled I walk with crutches I use this app to help motivate myself and get me active and it has been work so well but when it stops working you loss steps then you loss badges you work hard to get yes it’s very down hearting so something is needing done to get this app fixed and make other pacers aware of what’s happening..Version: 3.9.11

PacerI love the way this app works it gives you the walk you do the outline and it also gives you a voice telling you how many steps and calories and minutes you have done in 5 minute intervals..Version: 8.7.2

AccuracyJust wanted to say that the app is pretty accurate with regards to the distance walked. I also like the various features. Pacer is intuitive to use. It’s just a little too pricey for a pensioner on limited income. Overall the app is brilliant..Version: 8.12.1

Thanks for this appI really love this app and I haven’t even been using it for a week yet though it’s helping me just push my self a little more each day and it is just walking around the house and adding a few more steps a day but it all adds up and I can see how it will become addictive to challenge myself each day and it is simple as and I haven’t even signed up for the full program and truly I feel better about myself every day because you can see your self improving each day.Version: 3.9.3

Great product to track stepsLove the efficiency.Version: 8.12.1

Super gran 45Loving every minute using Pacer, keeps me motivated in my advanced years 😊 have been encouraged by doing the distance and steps challenges to.Version: 7.10.2

GreatIt’s a good app and works well at first I was like I’m walking but it’s not tracking but then I realised it only tracks the arm movements so if your arms are still it doesn’t count. Really great would recommend it..Version: 6.7.2

Helps up my stepsI like how it syncs with my Apple Watch so when my phone is not on me it will still count my steps, its just delayed eg I will be on 9900 steps so I’m walking all over the place to get to 10,000 if you refresh it, it won’t give you the accurate number so you keep walking around trying to get to 10k and when you’ve refreshed it again you’ve done 10,250 steps. At least it pushes me to be more active.Version: 8.12.1

Use it daily! Highly recommend it.Great pedometer. Keeps me on track..Version: 8.12.1

A user since 2016 😊A few years back I became interested in knowing the number of steps I take daily so, I downloaded Pacer and since then I’ve used it every single day for 4 consecutive years. It has been useful in serving as a motivation to get up and go for a short walk to make sure I hit my daily goal. It also comes with monthly challenges which are fun to complete - another way to keep you motivated. It has also helped me track runs I completed before buying my fitness band and now that I have my fitness band, I can confirm the number of steps recorded are quite accurate. Also, since starting my weight loss journey, I’ve been tracking my progress on the app and I like the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly overview! I think there’s also a 6-monthly overview. It’s a nice little insight and it’s satisfying seeing the graph declining. Anyway, if you’re looking for an accurate step counter, an app easy to use and somewhere you can track your small precious data such as weight, blood pressure, then I think this is a great app. I’ve used it for over 4 years and I am still very happy with it!.Version: 5.6.1

Pacer PremiumThis application gives you every possible tool needed to learn how to lose weight. It has daily lessons and quiz’s. It Tracks your weight, dietary intake, exercise, water intake and blood pressure. It enables you to view health reports and then share or print these documents. It aids all health care workers to track your journey to a healthier life. It gives exercise programs. It can track your steps and suggest challenges that you can participate in. It provides daily motivation sayings with beautiful photographs. It has recipes that help you to change your diet it has a food journal. You name it and it has it.! It’s affordable and inspiring in all that it offers you. 5 Star is the rating I’d give it. Well done!.Version: 7.10.2

PacerI was dubious about signing up for walking at my advanced age… one new knee and the other shabby, but walking stick in hand I’m doing the best I can and that’s good enough! I’m feeling positive, the girls (dogs) are loving the extra walks. So, so far so good!!!!……now I’ve done 9 walks and very proud of my medals. I took my latest medal to show my doctor yesterday and he was VERY impressed and said I’m the healthiest he’s seen me. A fabulous incentive!.Version: 8.2.1

Great appIt’s a great app plus it’s free too.Version: 8.12.1

5 StarsLove this app. I have tried so so many that all charge $ and some for free. Pace definitely covers the cost of being premium if you use the app to how it is designed. There are plenty of challenge’s, groups and also chats. Keeping it a community based app. I will say however at first I found it hard to navigate.. super easy now. Worth the $.Version: 8.11.2

Useful appHelpful tool for motivating and tracking. It’s a great app that you can engage with as much or little as you choose to. You can still get a good amount of assistance from it if you choose stick with the basic unpaid options, join the community, or don’t. Other than it does what it says it does (which is so rare nowadays) there’s no pressure to sign up, or pay, or hand over personal details. That alone deserves a five star rating. Give it a shot, you’ve got nothing to lose, and you might actually gain a supportive app &/or community to help you stay on track..Version: 3.9.10

Favourite running appI really like that you can use this app without wifi and that you can choose how often it speaks to you to say how far you have run etc.Version: 5.7.1

Great app for tracking steps but there is a but...The app like I said is great but would be good to see more functions in the free part of the app that you have to pay for and having had the full version didn’t really think it was worth paying for. Also the Apple Watch app (although pacer say it’s not an Apple Watch app but it is really) doesn’t sync very well between phone and watch. That being said I’d definitely be lost without it, it could just do with some bug fixes to make the apps sync quicker which it eventually a few hours later catches up..Version: 6.2.1

Motivation and ImprovementI highly recommend Pacer since it’s really motivated me to reach goals and improve my health and weight loss. I no longer estimate how much exercise I’m doing. Pacer has made me push myself and I’m always pleased when I reach my daily and weekly goals. The report also lets me track my progress and seeing it makes me feel proud of the amount of exercise I’m doing know compared to previous sitting around eating unhealthy foods..Version: 8.11.2

It’s great😀I find it has way more tracking ability then most free apps on here, it’s decent even with only having the free version, which includes. Insight on your daily steps, it will tell you your high and low days, so you know if you making your daily challenge(which you can alter based on your activity level). When you create your account try to make sure you put your exact weight or something close to it, so when you input a new weight it can give you the total amount lost(it tell you how much you’ve lost in the time span of, 7 days, 30 days and 6 months, at least I think) overall it’s a great app. And I’m planning on getting the full version soon. Because it has a lot of different features. But if your main goal is to just count steps I would recommend just using the free version..Version: 3.10.2

GoodGreat useful app very helpful options can manually add exercises of different types and food you just need to get it and give a go for 7 days I swear you will be happy with the use of it and decide to keep it definitely give a go I myself downloaded few apps in one day to try few and then keep 1-2 apps but of all I did get that day this one stayed ! I also love and still use Pedometer app because I had it first and it just keeps track of only steps is colourful and you get confetti if you get your goal of steps which you can set up :) 🥰🥰🤩🤗🥰😌 those 2 apps are great.Version: 6.4.2

Free app but most accurate step count!I am using Pacer more than 3 years now. I do 10,000 steps a day and Pacer helps me track my steps. The most wonderful thing is this is a free app but still better measure than some expensive watches and pedometer. I recommend it to everyone who wants to track their steps daily and be healthy 👍.Version: 8.6.1

Great appThis is the second virtual walk app I have tried. This one connected to my Apple Health and watch without issue. It tracked seemlessly. The app is easy to navigate, where the other app I tried was clunky, didn’t read from Apple and continuously kicked me out while trying to manually enter data or navigate to see maps etc. I undertook the longest walk, as I walk a lot. I look forward to seeing more longer walks. I thoroughly enjoyed the way points with photos and information!!!!.Version: 8.7.2

J’adore ❤️J’adore 🥰.Version: 8.12.1

Bit busy but has a lot of featuresI appreciate that this app has a lot of useful features. Perhaps too many (at least for me), so I would appreciate an option to remove some of the buttons to simplify the experience of those of us who don’t use everything. Because as it is at the moment logging in stresses me out. For someone who prefers to use every feature it would be awesome..Version: 8.5.1

Really good fitness appSo I’m it the type to really make reviews but for this all it’s a exception. I love is the app a lot since is easily functional and there are no ads. They also have a pretty accurate system of how many steps you take and how many calories you burn. I total recommend this app if you just wanna take a walk and count your steps or if your trying to lose weight as it has worked for me throughout my journey. Not to mention that this app has not the just steps and burning calories but also has some workouts and meditation courses that have helped me. (Even though you may have to pay a to get most of them) I totally recommend since there courses are worth it. So in the end I think this is a amazing app that works extremely well. And 16/10 recommend👏😌.Version: 6.10.1

100% UpsideIf you are a walker/jogger/runner, This app is the one to get. For what amounts to less than $5/month you get access to all the health stats your Fitbit or Apple Health(watch and phone) has stored even prior to downloading the app. That in and of itself is enough. But then there is the pacer community. It literally stretches every mile of the globe and I have found supporters all over. These friends that I have never met provide constant support and encouragement to hit my daily and monthly goals. Best part is I can choose to engage with them actively or I can just monitor my stats and keep it moving. This is not a dating app and people will ignore you quickly if you try that. Anyways, I love this app. I have lost 32 pounds in the last year and I didn’t do any funky diets or stressful exercise plan. I have simply endeavored to put one foot in front of the other, every single day, with no looking back..Version: 7.2.2

Very easy to useBravo.Version: 8.12.1

Great app to track stepsThanks!.Version: 8.12.1

Great appKeeps track.Version: 5.6.1

Value for MoneyI don’t normally do reviews but this app deserves a review, in order to encourage the developers to keep it up. This is the first app I have absolutely no regrets about subscribing for the premium. It is a fitness buddy, it encourages me to just keep on moving, while pointing out that every little step counts, even while in your house. I gladly allow my wife to send me around the house to get things because it counts to my steps goal for the day. Join several groups and watch how well you do alongside others, this feature encourages me to walk more because I always want to stay in the top 5. It’s really very interesting, and the 4weeks workout plan I signed up for has been really encouraging, the videos are easy to follow and clear, this is my 7th day and I haven’t missed a day. I love this app and it deserves 5stars. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to stay fit without disrupting their normal life..Version: 5.6.1

Very Pleased!I take Pacer on our two day a week hikes and we take a lot of photos of wildflowers, mushrooms, fungi, lichen, wildlife and scenery.? So we don’t really follow the hiking trail laid out by the Florida State Forest. But Pacer keeps our correct mileage as opposed to the mileage set by the State Forest. I always take a picture of our finished mileage for our hiking scrapbooks. The only thing that Pacer can’t do, is realize that I am 69 years old, getting close to70, who has had 5 spinal surgeries and a total knee replacement, so I can’t walk the goal set for me every day. I wish there was a way the Coach could figure that in. Otherwise, I am super pleased with Pacer. What I didn’t mention is how pleased that I am that Pacer works even when I don’t have any phone service in the State Forest. It still keeps track of my mileage. How it does it, I don’t know but I am awfully pleased that it does.Version: 5.8.3

Great AppGreat App and enjoy using it for personal walking and hiking as well as family groups and the regular challenges. Don’t use all of the features at the moment so more to grow into. App updates have made it easier to use and just need to be able to purchase challenges through the App and always get the premium membership discount; this would give 5 stars. Tried a different walking medal App last week just to compare and pacer is far better, easy to setup and gives consistent and trustworthy data..Version: 7.2.2

Good!Tres performant. Minimum action needed Bons exercices matinal.Version: 8.12.1

Katrina LawrenceHave had a great time doing these virtual challenges, great idea. Medals turn up quickly, have had no problems. Highly recommend.Version: 6.11.1

Can’t speak more highly of this appStruggled with meditation and i deed finding the time but there are so many options for a quick session. I start off in bed with the daily calm which only takes 10 minutes and starts the day off in the correct mode. A yoga session in the arvo with another session (so many options) and the day is complete! 💖 Tamara.Version: 5.8.3

“Take care of yourself”I love being able to see my progress and setting personal goals for myself, but most of all living a healthy life in the times we all are living in, what could more important than staying healthy. I feel better overall and have noticed that I’m sleeping better at night and have more energy during the daytime I am one week into my high protein low carbs diet with walking and taking rides on my bicycle. I have lost 3lbs 12ounces in my first week and look forward to tomorrow. I am 61 years old with high blood pressure over the course of my diet and exercise I have also noticed a drop in my blood pressure. I am very excited and look forward to seeing my results at my first 30 days..Version: 6.3.2

A must have! What makes this app great is the ease to understand and use it. It is accurate and has multiple settings depending on what your goal is..Version: 8.12.1

Amazing and practicalHelps me stay safe when I’m walking as there is a map function plus it tells me progress during the walk..Version: 7.10.2

Happy userI have found this app to be very useful to keeping up with my steps for the day and with maintaining my weight. I have been using this app for over a year 😊.Version: 5.7.1

Great motivatorReally simple to use and lets you record distance, speed and pace. It also breaks the journey down and shows you how fast each km was and how much climbing you did. You can compare your runs and the routes over time and it also tells you how far you have run each month. Best feature is that every 5 mins it speaks out loud and tells you how far you have gone which really helps with pacing and deciding where to go next..Version: 7.8.2

Better than many pedometersOnly problem is remembering to take the iPhone Also where to carry it! I have 2 iPhones carried in same pocket sometimes results are quite different! Still sometimes quite a difference across iPhones My wife’s app always records far lower readings than mine ! So mine isn’t working properly it seems!!! Excellent as a support to cardio rehab 2 years on from finding out I had had a serious heart attack and Pacer continues to provide constant help / reminder of exercise completed and needed ! Fallen behind over festive season so prompted us to do some walking despite the cold weather.Version: 8.12.1

❤️❤️❤️I love this app. It allows you to set goals at an achievable pace and gives an accurate account of what you are eating and burning off. I was unaware of how low my iron intake was until I started this app. I began taking a supplement and I have so much more energy now. I would recommend getting this app. along with a pedometer app. if you are just starting out with trying to get healthier. You can add your exercise into the plan and account for the calories burned during workouts which is such an incentive to me. I was not over weight to begin with, I just wanted to feel healthier and more energized. I can say without a doubt that I have achieved both goals. I only have the free version and that has been enough for me. I know there is a lot more this app. has to offer with a subscription, but the free version is so great that I think everyone should try it. You can even scan items right at the store!! This app. is so great I can’t say enough. 🤐.Version: 8.9.1

Pacer for the ‘older’ fitness generationThis app is perfect for me and the only one I’ve tried that that doesn’t run your phone down, it even works when it’s off! Beautiful graphic on the mapped routes with the ability to add a photo reference with ease and simplicity. The only downside for me but it’s a very small point really, is I wish it would convert to stones as well as kilograms/pounds for us Brits and Canadian users. A perfect app with, if you want it, the ability to go more group supported, gym member type coaching or, like me, just a professional and sturdy but beautifully designed app. I love it..Version: 3.8.6

Keeps me moving!Love how easy this app is. The “data” from day to day gets me moving more. The other night I even paced the house to reach my goal!.Version: 8.12.1

PacerExcellent App.Version: 8.12.1

Great app- great motivations to walk!Been using pacer to track my steps for years and years - the free version- ans now I just bought the totally paid forever subscription. Why? Because they now have these walking routes around the world that you can adjust to 3,000 6,000 or 10,000 steps so I’m up to 7,000 (from 2,500) and they just give me a reason to walk more each day! Love it. Don’t they say we have to live a more active life? I’m now walking the “Camino De Santiago” so when you reach a city you can actually learn a bit more about the area and have a Google map view- it’s prettty cool! Also with the paid version you get trainings. I like this short trainings that I can do at any time I have 5-9 minutes to stop and just break my lazy routine (in front of my computer) - oh and did I mention the coach setting? It’s cute, and everyday “talks” and motivates you to walk! (He lives in my phone) So…for one single payment (I didn’t do the monthly subscription but you also can do that, or go free for years like me) I get all this forever with no ads!! Works for me! Keep up the good work Pacer!.Version: 8.12.1

Keeps me motivatedLove this app.Version: 8.12.1

Simple yet effective motivatorEasy to use, uncomplicated display to motivate you to achieve personal goals, great workout videos are short, doable and fun, route memorization makes regular workouts a breeze. happy with the upgrades over the past 5 years i’ve been using this app..Version: 8.3.1

Excellent ApplicationThis application can track good information and motivates you to achieve your goals. I love it. I recommend those who love to walk and burn calories..Version: 8.12.1

Encouraging TrackingIt’s a great tool for brisk walking. Wish I could have phone close by to record my entire daily steps. I have used this App since January 1, 2021. I did the extra charge for a yearly App to do Virtual trails. I began with Mt. Blanc in France where my tiny feet stood in ski boots at beginning of my trail! Most of the places I first chose, I had actually visited, along with my husband. Now I’ve tried many virtual trails I wouldn’t have been able to access due to the Pandemic. Thank you for saving me from boredom! I’ve learned so much from these trails. I feel that a yearly renewal fee should be discounted to those that renewed in the past. Perhaps a one time fee to become a perpetual member would be something to consider. See the World and Improve your Health!.Version: 8.11.1

AppreciativeI love the pacer app because it measures my steps constantly and is my way of monitoring my health through my daily activities I have set myself a goal to achieve every day and surprise myself when I go beyond by doing my normal routine.Version: 8.11.2

Pacer is goodPacer is good. It's easy to get loads of apps to find the the one that suits you, however this app does the job. Some apps send you emails and try to persuade you to spend before you've even tried the app. Pacer does the job and also links to Apple Health app. Seeing your records of activity and steps helps motivate you to maintain a steady pace throughout you’re life. I'm 70 and well aware that we need to keep active and now I have a record of that. Thanks..Version: 6.12.2

So useful!I had used this app for now 1 month and it’s great cause it says how many steps I took and it calculates my steps so faster than any other app. But there is one problem and it is that my cousin he installed it on his iPad because he has to many apps on his iPhone..Version: 8.4.1

Simplicity for healthTried lots of apps…….. this is certainly the best so far. I’ve dropped off for a few months on the steps (Following jab01) when originally downloading and starting I peaked at 36K - just factoring into Saturday commitments and averaged 24K on a standard day where I ditched the car . Time to rekindle my love of this app and coach to good health. September 11th - October 11th 2021 - is a set goal of a minimum of 15k per day and hope to trim up and feel well and ready to host a Halloween celebration of the first 10 years of my architectural studios success..Version: 7.3.2

Enjoying Pacer ActivitiesInitially took some time to find my way with the app...now I can’t stop signing up. Keeps me motivated and easy to use app with great visuals of progress.Version: 6.4.2

HelpsKeeps me active and stimulates walks when I don’t feel like them.Version: 8.12.1

The Pacer app works wellI like the Pacer app and use it almost every day to track my steps. It adds the very useful thing of approximating my calories burned, and the color scheme is cheerful. Does it always get the number of steps I have walked? No, but neither does the iPhone X. The flaw is either the GPS or AT&T’s coverage, which should be better for the metropolitan area I live in. Or it could be that these apps are not designed to track the steps that shorter people take. Googled ‘what app is best for short people to use to track steps’ and Google didn’t quite understand the question or there really aren’t apps that try to get this right. Yes, I know that Pacer does track ‘average gait.’ But I can tell you that I have done numerical counts a ridiculous number of times and these apps undercount my steps every time. And not by an insignificant margin. This said, does it beat counting in my head? Absolutely - worlds better..Version: 6.9.2

Pacer StepsAwesome!.Version: 8.12.1

Great App, Easy to UseI’ve been using this app for about a month on my iPhone only and it’s been great! Only concern is that since I’ve started using my Apple Watch, my step count is significantly higher than before and I haven’t changed my routine. I think it may be recording my arm movements as steps because it seems A LOT higher with the watch than it does when I just have my phone with me. It could just be that I don’t carry my phone around every minute of the day so doesn’t count steps taken when I don’t have my phone on me (when I’m at home for instance). The difference in steps when I use my phone only and when I have my watch on seems like it’s too high so I can’t be sure how accurate it is....Version: 3.9.3

WalkingI like how it easily counts the steps and keeps track..Version: 8.12.1

Still getting used to itThere have been a few glitches with this app that have required a restart of the phone but it seems to sync with the phone’s health app. What I can’t work out is its accuracy compared with my old fashioned pedometer. There is a wide discrepancy between the two. The app records steps and distance by about one third less than the pedometer. Checking with Google maps my sense is that the app is more likely to be correct. I’ll know better when I’ve compared it with a better quality pedometer for which I am awaiting a new battery..Version: 3.7.10

ReviewMy daughter suggested this app to help me get over the loss of my puppy of 11 1/2 years. She said I needed to move and not mope. She’s right. My puppy died on Tuesday night. I stayed in all day Wednesday and started walking Thursday evening and continued yesterday, Friday. I walked 2 miles yesterday and enjoyed looking at progress along the way. I could have quit anywhere along the way but the app helped to push me to reach a goal. Tonight I will walk further and I hope to reach the goal of walking 5 miles eventually. My puppy didn’t like to walk so I’ve been sedentary for a long time with just short little walks with her. I went out today and got some comfortable socks to wear with my sneakers and I’m looking forward to my third walk in about an hour. Last night my husband walked with me and we had a good time encouraging each other. I’m not crying anymore and feeling good. Exercise is just what I needed. I just turned 73 on Christmas Day and my husband turned 74 on December 1 and we’re looking to many more years of walking..Version: 3.10.4

BEST TOOL!Careful… once you try,, you can get ADDICTED 😍.Version: 8.12.1

Fun & Easy to UseGives you motivation to get out there and get walking or running if you prefer..Version: 6.12.2

Pacer encourages me to keep moving!I only have the basic version, which I have been using since February 2021. I try to walk at least 10,000 steps per day and hope this is helping keep me healthy. As I am retired, it’s easy to do very little physical exercise, but the pacer encourages me to get out of the house and enjoy local parks and riverside areas. I also like the ‘insights’ section where I can see how well I’m doing compared to other users. Highly motivating. Try it!.Version: 8.1.1

Works great for my cross country skiingWorks great for my cross country skiing.Version: 8.12.1

Very motivatingI need all the motivation I can get to get out and keep getting out! I love trying to beat my previous day steps snd distance. Just what I needed 👍🏻🙂.Version: 6.2.1

It works. Is reliable. This app has done exactly what I need from it. It gives me accurate steps, keeps a record of past steps, and it motivates me to stay regular by labelling my daily goal and labelling lower “goal levels” (as inactive, lightly active, moderately active, highly active. Labels not exact, I think). I had a major brand smart watch before. Actually two of same model. The first one stopped functioning. Out of warranty. I bought another. In warranty, so I worked with their customer service. About five calls over two months. Really sweet service reps. They tried hard. But NOT well trained. Never exceeded the warranty period but I gave up. Should have pressed for a new replacement, but I wore out. Loved it when it worked. Which it seldom did. So love this app. It works!.Version: 6.3.2

2.4 runsBest way to keep track of my running progress.Version: 7.9.1

PacerFabulous!.Version: 8.12.1

Love the AppThis app is my favorite to track my steps, get new recipes, and compete in races with people from all over the world. The challenges keep me motivated and are extremely fun to earn the badges. It is really a great motivation and when I trend my walks and compare my steps to others in my age group it keeps me moving. I have 3 other apps that I use but this one provides more for your money. If there was an area for improvement I would say adding a calorie counter to the food journal would be nice. It gets five stars because journaling is critical with wait lose so the calorie counter would be a nice to have added bonus. Pacer has definitely stepped up its game when compared to the other stepping apps. It holds you accountable and cheers you on. I love it!!.Version: 7.6.2

Useful app to haveI’ve been using this app about 6 months and find it really useful for daily steps and hiking. GPS is really accurate, though it does drain the battery when in use, so have to remember to turn it off. Recommend take a power bar for anything longer that 7 miles or so, if you also want to use phone fir photos etc. I’ve not done the challenges, but they look like a good goal setting challenge for those who respond to that well..Version: 8.7.2

Dr Gerrit Rian Cloete, Brisbane, AustraliaMost Informative Gym buddies on the market. Linked it to my Garmin Felix watch. Correct information, much better with Garmin than when I used the Apple watch in between for 6 months. Enjoy the fitness advice, diet monitor and food used registration. Recommended stretching and other fitness advice are also good. Please try and add Wim Hoff ice water, breathing and Sauna times. 👏🚴‍♂️🏌️‍♂️🏊‍♀️.Version: 8.7.2

Yup, still using every day! Still great!Still using daily after all these years!.Version: 8.12.1

Great appVery accurate with counting steps. Like how you can set goals as well. I’m only on the free version because it’s all I need and so far it’s great.Version: 7.12.1

Keeps exercise interestingI’m an inconsistent exerciser. The challenges offered on Pacer make exercise more compelling. Easy to use app. This comes from someone born long before personal computers..Version: 7.10.2

Easy to use; great motivator!Love this app! Can use it for just walking around the house to track steps per day and calories burned, or set it up for a workout with gps so I can see an accurate distance/time/speed walked. (It doesn’t eat up my data for this either!) It’s amazing to look at total distance walked since I first started using the app til now (Dec. 2016-Feb. 2018) and see that I’ve racked up over 1,450 MILES (and well over 3.2 MILLION steps! :) When I first got the app, I had a very old phone that I couldn’t update, and Pacer was the ONLY pedometer app I could find that would work on it. I would, very rarely, have it crash and lose that day’s data- very frustrating, but otherwise loved it, and grateful I had it. Since updating to a new phone (and version of the Pacer app), I haven’t experienced ANY crashing! Thank you, Pacer, for creating a wonderful, stable app! It’s been a big part of my weight loss and fitness efforts, and I will gladly credit you for motivation in helping me lose about 30 lbs.! (Just 10 lbs. left to go!) ;).Version: 7.10.2

A great pedometer appThis is a great app for walkers and runners. The details it gives whenever you use it for walking and running are almost complete, even for a basic version, it gives almost all the details you need to track how many steps and how many kilometres/miles you’ve done on a day to day basis such as when working and your every movement anywhere, also the workout feature, when you’re out there for a walk or run, and the GPS feature to track your walk/run route and the calories you’ve burned and also a timer, and the best part is that the app is not going to nag you to subscribe to their premium edition to get the complete features. Thanks for this great app..Version: 7.11.1

StepsI like Pacer but I’m not sure about the steps, no matter which walk I do in the morning, it’s always 30,000 steps and the afternoon walk is always 60,000. Why does it not vary when my distance’s definitely vary. Jean.Version: 8.7.2

Pacer is greatPicks up on steps walked easily, also counts calories burned and time active for each day so you can check yearly, monthly, weekly and daily progress and add a few more steps to hit your goals each day! Increase your daily goals as you see fit to get you burning more calories. I’m only using the free app as I’m not working I’m going through cancer treatment as well as other health concerns, so I need to try and keep fit, so find this app really helpful to me to get fitter and stay constantly that way, hope this review helps anyone who is not sure about downloading it as it’s really helped me keep fit on a daily basis. With covid 19 I have only been using it in the house as I don’t go out to be safe, it makes me try harder to hit my goal when I’m tired. Thanks for reading my review and good luck with the app 😁..Version: 6.11.4

PacerGreat app to use - keeps track of my steps throughout the day and in a challenge I can see how my team are progressing against other teams. Even a page to show piccies or your walks to your organisation! Janz58.Version: 7.10.2

Does what it saysI don't think it's that accurate, but my phone is only a 5c and doesn't have the correct sensors so I can't really fault the app..Version: 3.7.7

A great app and fantastic motivationInitially it was frustrating to find that a lot of the functions and info was hidden behind a subscription paywall. However, after a few days of use sticking purely to the free elements and social side of the app (group challenges, friend challenges, monthly global user comparison challenges) I found this app still did the majority of what I needed when used in conjunction with the Apple Health app. Overall as a person trying to get fit again I find this app to be a great motivation (especially if you sign up for the monthly distance challenge and friends also use the app) and I find the GPS tracking to be more accurate than the app that comes with my pedometer (very fit pro in case you’re wondering) So yes while the subscription stuff would be useful to see it’s not essential and unlike other mainstream tracker apps it’s still extremely useful and a great motivational tool without it!.Version: 3.8.7

Beneficial, easy and straightforwardHelps you realise how many steps you take and can be incorporated into your mobile without sucking space, battery or notifications. Easy to synchronise to MyFitnessPal and lets you know how far in steps you’ve travelled and calories. It allows you to record specific runs and walks but I haven’t attempted to do that. They were some problems in the beginning but updates and getting used to the app solves those. Can allow you to set goals and lets you know when you hit specific landmarks i.e 3k, 6k & 10k steps..Version: 3.9.4

Today’s message said............,If you don’t feel like working out just try for ten minutes. Well, I’m too old to work out but I do walk. Was about to turn back when the message came through, eight thousand steps later my dog and I are glad we continued, still walking (got to get home😀) Wrote the above nearly one year and nearly thirty kilos ago - ‘nuff said?.Version: 3.9.10

FeeoriniChubI keep going and checking to see how far I’ve come over the course of the day and it spurs me on to go further and this is from day 1! Imagine what it’ll be like over time. Plus I am a very competitive person so seeing that I am more active by 64% than others using this app made me think to myself that I must beat that and next time it will be 70%.Version: 6.6.1

Awesome appYou have to be motivated yourself of course but it’s a great app for slowly loosing weight. That is what I was after as I am not into running and fitness. Just slowly does it. And they will motivate you and lots of other people do to.Version: 3.8.7

Awesome adventureLove using this and checking on progress each day. The community is very supportive of Achievements. It’s a great way to make exercise fun! Highly recommend to all.Version: 8.9.1

Totally Addicted to this appHonestly I never review apps, but this app I have had to review. Me personally have had issues most my life regarding my weight. I have tired numerous things to help me but this app had help me today all my exercises and has helped me work how much calories I eat let alone how many steps I have done. If you need motivation this app surely should help you. (Don’t get me wrong you have to do the work to see achievements too not just expect it to happen).Version: 7.6.1

PacerI find this version, (free) of Pacer to be very helpful in tracking my distance, steps, and calories. The year, month, and weekly history is great. As with most apps, there have been many changes to the app that causes confusion on how to use the app. Sometimes, the changes involve the removal of well established options/features with-in the app. So many apps do this and I'm sick of it. Therefore, I do not trust apps to buy/pay for them. For me, the changes incorporates more difficulties and confusion as well as frustration to overcome in order to use the app. I'm above the age of consent, I'm 69. This and other apps keep changing and changing my guess is to tailor the app to a specific niche. Leaving those who enjoy and use features that have been removed behind in the dust. Abandon. Adding new features is great, but not at the expense of removing other features..Version: 8.12.1

Easy to control and useI have used different activity apps, but kept on forgetting to start or stop the app before or after the activity, which was really annoying. This step app makes this much easier, as it just records all the steps I take all through the day. When I go cycling the app records via gps. However, it adds the cycling kms to the walking steps, which makes it somewhat confusing Very convenient stepper app though! Thank you! Few years later, and still my top stepper app! Now past mid 2023, and yes, still using my stepper app for both my walking and the gps section for my cycling. Great pal to tag along with my on activity, as well as all through the day generally! 👍.Version: 8.12.1

PacerGreat app! Use it every day. Very pleased with the results and the tracking records it keeps. Would suggest that the Backup and Recovery processes be updated to allow multiple copies. That is, when a new Backup is made, if there is an earlier copy, create a new Backup with the name appended with the date and have it copied to an available iCloud or personal cloud drive. And during Recovery, allow the selection of which Backup record you’d like used for the Recovery from either the local phone data, iCloud or personal cloud drive! Why? Because I just lost 9 months of data because my phone was destroyed. I got the phone recovered late at night a few days ago from an old phone backup made in January (so all data between Jan and Sep was gone) and when I selected Recovery, the only file available was done during the night (after my phone Recovery, but before Recovery of the Pacer data). Therefore, the only Recovery file available was the one written during the night that overwrote the earlier one, and the new file was missing the Jan-Sep data. My fault ... true. But allowing penultimate backup copies would have allowed me to get all that data back regardless. Super happy otherwise!!!.Version: 3.8.7

Great PaceAn awesome little app that gives you lots of stats and figures for daily use as well as a great overall picture of your progress compared to other apps, it has a good option for a scheduler for weightloss (paid) which seems good but I just want the step counter, I haven’t paid the extra, so not sure what that part of the app is really like. A great app overall, definitely worth the download.Version: 3.7.10

Ashok’s review - many nice features are paid version onlyThe tracking options are great. Summary is okay too. One draw back is that it does not record workouts unless you track them in GPS mode. Would be nice if the app can start recording once it notices the user is active for more than say 15 minutes. I have missed to get the right workout summary many times as I realised in the middle of my run that I have not started the activity in GPS mode. Again, I would love to subscribe for the premium, but the cost of the app is very very high. Owners may consider a lesser price and it will help them gain many more subscribers. Finally, there are many virtual races but none are free. You should start considering few virtual races free for your users to experience how it feels / works..Version: 8.6.1

Love itVery motivating love it so far 👌.Version: 8.12.1

Great tool for team buildingI used this app twice already in corporate world, it’s fun to have a step competition, especially in lock down time. We need to walk and exercise more instead of sitting in front of computer. It’s good doe improve physical health and mental health too! Highly recommend it!.Version: 7.1.2

Sweet app, does it allIf you want to track your walking, for fitness or just to measure how far you've perambulated, Pacer has you covered. It measures steps, distance covered, and a multitude of other stats; it works transparently in the background so you don't even have to activate it before you set off. Easy to use, full of great info, and FREE, you won't find a better pedometer for your iPhone. And for those people who complain that it increases battery use...I haven't found it to do so at all..Version: 7.1.2

Pacer reviewI use Pacer to keep a tab on my steps, other exercises I’m doing, kilometres walked and calories burned. There are other options on offer, such as help with routines and losing weight etc which I haven’t taken up at this stage. The app is easy to use whilst having a lot on offer..Version: 7.5.1

Handy appPacer free version is a simple way to record your progress with steps. It doesn’t measure whether they are walked or ran for the ‘active’ level it gives you, but you get an idea of how you are going as it does show how the rate of steps to time changes. The daily calendar lets you compare good and bad days. So it is a very handy app to have !!😀.Version: 3.10.4

Really awesome appSo many apps to choose from and this one seems to be the better choice.Version: 7.12.1

PrecisionI have compared pacer with many other's & I'm not going to come on here praising how much better it is than ALL The Others, BUT The Ones I have concidered as Good Pacer has at minimum been the 'Exact' Amount of steps taken for that day,SO.. Therefore that Proves to be Precise for eg. Today mine today was only 3,537 steps & Although I prefer pacer I compared it with another that I concider as 'good' (4 stars) stepz & it was 'Exactly' 3,537 steps & Lazily 2 floors I live in a high tower block (I swear!!🤷🏽‍♂️ lol) SO.. Precision is my view of pacer & gives me a bit more incentive to keep knocking the pounds off!!👌🏼.Version: 3.9.3

Personal TrainerI’ve been using this App for over eight months and if you are committed to following its data capability, you should be able to reward yourself with a healthy lifestyle. Its basic data recording is loaded with capabilities such as weight management, blood pressure and heart rates, and number of steps taken amongst other things recorded. There are many more capabilities that I am still discovering in this Application. It allows you to push yourself a step or ounce at a time, and be able to retain that record conveniently for past referencing. It makes me want to always beat my best mark by rewarding myself with positive data. And, It is able to accurately search back to any entry date and provide you with the information you loaded. And don’t worry if you forget to log in your data, it has a nice reminder feature. ✅ I’ve lost weight, walked further, seen my blood pressure improve and many more details that are available, all on my personal time. This is game changer for me. ❤️ You can have your own personal trainer. Do it!.Version: 7.7.1

SimplesI have used this pacer now for 6 months Both for walking and cycling. I have not paid a subscription yet but I am now seriously considering it. For my walks and cycling it has proven to be very accurate. I use it sometimes to check distance when out for a longer walk. I have measured it against my bike GPS and they are always within 10%. I don’t really count calories but it has been useful if I want a fish and chip treat to know if I have earned them. Simple to use and very useful..Version: 8.7.2

Keeps you sane and motivatedThese virtual challenges are brilliant. We can’t travel (yet), but you can cover the distance at your own pace to fit your lifestyle and learn a little about where the challenge is. Plusyou get a medal so you feel like you have achieved something. Strangely comforting in such an unusual time in our lives..Version: 6.9.2

PacerI have found the app very good up until it stopped syncing with apple health, and it wiped a whole days work, which was about 10kms, disappointing to be set back in the challenge.Version: 3.9.1

Tracking for a range of activitiesI like how you can specify a variety of activities for the GPS function, as I walk, cycle & hike. I also like being able to keep the map private - especially when it includes my home - and add photos when I am out on a hike..Version: 5.5.1

Let’s get going!!I enjoy having this App. I love working out and have for all of my adult life. As much as I love it, the hardest part of the workout is getting out the door! Once out, it feels so good and when the workout is finished, your body and your mind feel so together. It is as good for your mental health as well as the physical. When the gyms closed in 2020, I took up walking as my major form of exercise. The Pacer app really gets me out the door. When I start to procrastinate, I think, “time to get out and get the pacer going”. I like the feedback I get from the workout. It makes me not want to miss a day. I would recommend it at any time but especially now given the current health crisis globally. I would highly recommend it and best of all, the app has Global challenges that are great!!.Version: 8.11.2

PacerI am 91 years old & walk with my Min. Schnauzer 2 a day. We both have to keep fit to be able do Agilty & other dog sports. The pacer keeps me on my toes to reach my goal steps..Version: 6.3.2

PacerPacer is a basic app but is great. I personally believe you're charging too much for these apps. Only the rich who don't really need it can afford it. This one is the most reasonably priced, yet still too much. If you lowered the price to $25/year to unlock all features and kept it there without trying to increase the price, I believe you would have more sales. I believe your free users would sign up. I believe that you should keep the basic features free. I believe you should open the extra to donations. I believe the rich and able would oblige, e.g. $50, $75, $100 donations. This would be a worthy cause, to help those who can't afford it, have affordable health motivation. This is a great app. I would definitely sign up. There should be some type of reward for your highest donors if goal is met, like a recognition news letter, free fitness clothes, water bottle, watch for fitness tracking, or an opportunity to travel to meet the owners of app..Version: 8.6.1

Excellent appThis app is easy too use and has great feature like different challenges to keep you going to get to you weight loss and fitness. You track steps calories used and miles walk cycled or run. There are daily stretch and strengthening routines. I’m doing a challenge to walk the sights of London. I’m 5’1 is mid may I start med 89 kilos and I’m 83 kilos from have walked over 280 km. I can take I’m type in my blood pressure. There is virtual coach to help you tech your goals..Version: 6.7.2

Easy trackingAn instant record of distance covered in steps and kms. Also shows the time each activity takes place. Very comprehensive records of activity..Version: 8.4.1

AwesomeI.joined a challenge not realising how to work the app with one I’m already using. Wow I don’t have to worry as it automatically updates my daily runs when I opened the app. That’s awesome.Version: 7.4.1

Great way to keep you on your toes!I highly recommend this app and have got quite a few friends onto this. The more competitive ones have made a couple of groups to keep everyone “on their toes”! This has really over a period helped a number of us lose weight and get fitter..Version: 6.12.2

Great AppGreat little app. Would be even nicer if it could automatically set to walking or cycling mode (speed would define that - could be done on a 15 minute average). The Health App I most use..Version: 8.10.1

Great application!Easy to use. Fun to see progress..Version: 8.12.1

Faster than iOS healthI mainly use the free version of the app to keep track of my steps on a daily, weekly and monthly average. It’s much faster to load up daily steps than Apple’s native app which means no hanging around at the end of the day to see if you’ve met your target. Setting the target and then getting the update the next day is a nice touch. Not sure I’ll subscribe but the way I use it suits me fine. 620,000 steps complete and looking forward to the big million!.Version: 6.8.1

Keeps me on trackPacer is so easy to use. It helps me track my fitness levels easily, with a minimum of fuss..Version: 8.12.1

Amazing!Out of all the exercise tracker apps available, this is the only app I would recommend. It tracks daily steps, calories burned, running time, distance, the route of your run, and how many mins per km you run. An amazing app, easy to use, recommend to everyone ☺️.Version: 8.7.2

Great appI have been using this app for a long time now and I love it and would recommend it to all of my friends and family..Version: 8.12.1

AwesomeAwesome.Version: 3.7.7

Fit buddyLove it apart from a small glitch here and there, somewhat easy to use, do on occasion have to manually sync as it doesn’t always sync automatically as stated by the app maker, have tried the premium (pay for it) version and not really noticed to much of a difference. Connected easily enough with other apps and smart watch. Overall 8/10.Version: 6.6.2

Works well for GPSHave only used the app to tack my activity based on GPS tracking in the app - it seems to be very accurate . The only improvement I would recommend is to be able to see details of the automatic “steps” it created when you are stationery (the kms & time). For my limited use so far it has been great 👏.Version: 6.7.2

Very UsefulWorks well, but like all similar Aps it will continuously 'encourage' users to UpGrade, at a Price! That can be ignored of course, but if one succumbs then the Ads for the 'Next Higher Levels' of UpGrades start; which gets downright tedious after one has already Paid, expecting to be left in peace. It reminds me of some 'Platform Game' in some ways; never quite reaching the end. BUT it is 'normal' in this App dominated world, everybody needs to make a living. ;) Well worth having, but as always, "Caveat Emptor" -> Buyer Beware ;).Version: 3.10.4

Does the jobBeen using this app for awhile now and it does a really good job of counting my steps and recording my walks as well. Highly recommend..Version: 7.7.1

Pacer steps appMuch more than a steps app have used pacer for a number of years now and find it the very best out there. There are challenges to complete ( if you want to (( no pressure to )). I cant say enough how excellent this app it is its very accurate and has lots of hints tips and challenges if that floats your boat. I would highly recommend this app to anybody of any fitness who just wants to count their steps or anybody who wants challenges or anybody wanting health tips etc. this really is a fantastic app that works brilliantly it has never let me down nor crashed or any of the bad things that happen with other apps its a definite must have app. I highly recommend this app for all users at all stages of fitness. It really is an excellent app. Dont delay get it today. I have no connection to pacer or any of its subsideties it is just a brilliant app and this is an honest opinion from someone who genuinely uses it on a daily basis. GET IT YOULL LOVE IT..Version: 8.7.2

Wonderful fitnessA friend introduced me Pacers, and it has never been so good. I feel so good to be in for a modern technology regardless my age? I never knew I could do this as o am not young and also born and raised up o the 3rd World ! Thank you for this new technology, now o do not have to feel left out and at the same time I can take control of my own health at any time without having to attend the Gym. I hope you will stay successful in business and make a change to many people, so that we can make the world a better place and happier to live in, in Jesus Great Name💪👌👋😀😄❤️🙏.Version: 3.8.6

The best walking app out there!I love how its not just about tracking how many steps you’ve done, it also has a lovely community of people who have the same interests as you! This app has helped me so much in having better exercise activities. There are so many different challenges to choose from which persuade you to get out there and have a lovely walk in the outdoors! I definitely recommend to anyone out there who wants to lose weight or just be more active..Version: 8.1.1

Good motivatorI enjoy the feedback use the app frequently..Version: 8.12.1

Good so far. Seems fairly accurate, certainly a good indicatorOnly just downloaded for a couple of days, but seems to work well..Version: 3.8.1

Best tracking health app out there.Pacer has helped me keep up the desire and need to keep control of both my weight and fitness levels. The free version is great but by paying the subscription charge you get so much more. If your anything like me then this is the app for you. Health plans that work. Weight goals that are attainable, and an active community that are happy to help keep you on track. This really is the best app in its market..Version: 8.1.1

Awesome!!!I love this app. It allows you to log outside activity of pretty much any kind. Only thing I wish it would add was a “chores” option for housework but I can see why they can’t do that, it’s too broad and unpredictable. However it has everything I personally need to work out right now!! I’m pretty out of shape, 80lbs above the highest healthy weight for someone my height. I’m starting out with the novice stretches, and I’m doing the yoga sequences in the calm app. The calm app is great too and it does log my exercise, but I like logging it into pacer because then it’s all in one spot. Love having the pedometer. The work out videos are really good. I love it!! I was ready to pay for the subscription after my first three days of using it and after a month, I can’t say I regret it!! I’m going to buy the yearly subscription next. This is an essential app for me, I wouldn’t be where I am in my workout journey without it!! I’ve done yoga over half the days in this month. I went from never working out, to nearly working out every single day!!! Thanks pacer!!! I can’t wait to start exploring their higher level exercises (and I LOVE that they categorize them so you know what you’re getting into). They give helpful and thoroughly suggestions on how to meet your goals... basically... it’s perfect!!!.Version: 5.4.1

Pacer is a great aidThe fact that it keeps record of your activity and you really don’t have to think about it is great. I’m super busy and I count calories but can’t keep up with everything so I’m glad Pacer does that for me. At the end of the day I can open the app and calculate how my daily routine went and if I need to make any improvements..Version: 3.8.0

Pacer pedometerI like Pacer a lot better than the pedometer that came standard on my iPhone. My iPhone only updates irregularly, that is I can walk for 25 minutes and the number of steps won’t change. Later it will jump to a new value, but only when it feels like it. Pacer updates as you walk. The only negative is that it doesn’t take into account the length of a person’s stride. So my wife and I walk for three miles together, but Pacer says that I walked 2.6 miles on my iPhone, while my wife’s phone says that she walked nearly 4 miles. We both walked the exact same distance, but she has shorter legs and she took many more shorter steps. I like that it gives the proper amount of steps that we each took, but it should also take into consideration the average length of our strides so that our mileage would be close to the same..Version: 5.5.1

The best app ever !!!Very nice and easy to use and you can make friends from around world And they never push you to buy a full version like other apps ! Super easy to use !! So far the best I ever found It’s been a year since I use this app and think is time for the developers to do an update!! So far the app is working fine ! It needs some more improvements and features but I guess they included that on the paid version So far the best !! Well I keep updating my experience with this App and so far i have not complaints! Compared with some other apps this is definitely the best !! 😃👏👍🏃🏃‍♂️🏆🥇 Still my favorite app so far !! Another year using this app and so far it’s the best ! Still the best app !! It’s been couple years since I start using this app and still the best app ever.I’m wow seeing if they will make some more updates for the app , it needs some free stuff to do. Plus some kind of source that records all your activity during the month and case you forgot to upload your activity to your profile Until now ! Still the best App and keeps improving!! Good job 👏!!! Well it’s been couple years using this app and still the best !! I love the new design! Everything runs smoothly!.Version: 8.4.1

Informative and accurateInstalled the pacer app on my new iPhone12, because the native Health app did not provide accurate information about my daily 2 power walks, on the distances and number of steps, when compared with my husband”s data on his new iPhone12 and my old iPhone. This app also shows the map of the course, and using the gps mode it matches exactly the data from both apps on my husband’s iPhone and on my old one. I just started to explore this app, but I am already a convert and will use it a lot in gps mode, too. I have been using Pacer almost each day for about a year and a half, still like it a lot. I also use it when sea kayaking, to record the route and get an estimate on distances. This app does not offer a choice for kayak, instead, I selected riding (by bike) so I am not sure how accurate the distances are by sea kayaking, but seems to be very close..Version: 7.9.2

4 Because . . .The app is absolutely brilliant. The people you meet (on the whole) are fantastic & help keep you accountable (if you’re trying to loose weight/stay fit). The medals are beautiful & if there’s a problem with one of them (I’ve only have one with the 20+ I’ve received) they verify it & send you a new one!!! The options are also fantastic to choose from, easy distances to really long distances & plenty of challenges too. There are occasional glitches where your steps go missing & you have to report it to Pacer & send lots of screen shots to back it up & eventually it does get credited back to you but unfortunately you may have missed out on that days “count”. The but is that there are occasional glitches where your steps go missing & you have to report it to Pacer & send lots of screen shots to back it up & eventually it does get credited back to you but unfortunately you may have missed out on that days “count”..Version: 7.1.1

I’m fat and this app helped meBasically, I’m fat. You know how it is, you go on holiday and eat everything in sight and come home and to tighter fitter clothes. But because you’re already carrying a little extra weight a trifle to yourself doesn’t seem it’s going to make much difference. Before you know it, yup, you’re fat. This app gave me the motivation and insight to shed that holiday weight, and now I’m walking a lot more to hit my targets and track my exercise. Hopefully soon I’ll reach my target of just chunky..Version: 3.9.7

Great!Nice for tracking runs and bike rides. Seems very accurate. The voice update of my time, distance and average pace is really helpful. My only complaint is that I don’t use the workout feature because there’s no way to turn off the voice coach tips without also turning off the voice prompt that tells you which exercise is next. If I’m doing a workout while listening to a podcast, I need the app to tell me the exercise names, but don’t want to be interrupted with tips on form that I don’t need, so the ability to opt out of those would be great. Otherwise it’s fantastic—thanks!.Version: 8.12.1

Pacer.I enjoy pacer as it gives me an idea of how active I am, am what time of day and has the work out raining which I use often. Give it a go. It might work better if you have the/a watch because I leave my phone on the table when I’m at home doing stuff and non of that gets registered so I seem way slacker than I am but otherwise all good..Version: 8.11.2

It is quite goodBut it does odd things from time to time like the session mode doesn't work as expected all the time but does mostly. The stairs climbed has a large delay before it figures you climbed some stairs. It would be nice if the history went back more than a week. But hey... It's free and the folks put a lot of work into it. Try it out. Update: I swapped phones back to an iPhone 5 and on that it sucked until I switched on location which it did not need on the iPhone 6. Works sort of ok now but the miles walked bears no relation to reality. Not sure why it needs location on as sleep cycle works fine without that although does leave a bar up top, guess that's why. Still a great app. Update 2: doesn't need location On and is still a great app..Version: 3.10.3

My thoughtsI like many others over the years have looked in the mirror and said “who’s that fat B! So then I decided to look at free app that could help me firstly map how many kilometres I walked and also how long it takes, which like most apps this does. What I would like to see is the course you walk in detail so you can time yourself, each time you walk it, this way you can see how you perform and also reduce the time gradually. Regards, Slimmer FB.Version: 3.8.1

Really enjoy this app.Highly recommended!!.Version: 8.12.1

Great App!Great app it’s not like a Fitbit because it’s likely you will put your phone down at some point. Mine is left on my desk while I walk around the office/home. I carry it on dog walks though and as long as my weekly daily average is 10,000 steps I know I’ve done at least the steps advised by the UK NHS. There’s loads of other features too that someday I’ll get around to using. If your after a motivational tool and love to see the steps clock up then this is for you..Version: 7.3.2

Works With AppleI really wanted a step counter that accurately works with my Apple Watch and iPhone. There is such a range to choose from but I chose this app as it also works with Apple Health too. There are many other areas of exercise that this app can be useful for, such as cycling, running and workouts. Would recommend for anyone who is interested in keeping a check on their daily exercise routine, either @ home or in a gym..Version: 8.6.1

Love PacerThis version of Pacer is fabulous, it tells me how many steps I have taken throughout the day, which is a real bonus when I walk my dog, when I walk across campus to work, and any time I walk throughout the day. It also has a tracker section which allows me to work out how many steps I take on daily routes...I love it! It helps with my exercise routine....Version: 7.12.1

Great appWorks better then expected ! 5star.Version: 8.12.1

Accurate and thoroughI actually use this in tandem with my Apple Watch activity app because honestly this app is more accurate. I am a bartender and run up and down three flights of stairs probably 20-30 times a shift getting cases of beer & liquor as well as the bar that I work being VERY busy almost 6 days a week. It’s mind blowing sometimes to check this app after a super long and busy weekend at work and see just how many steps I’ve taken and flights of stairs I’ve climbed! It notified me today that yesterday alone I had taken almost 40,000 steps. It’s encouraging to me to see the stats when you go to the gym to run and work a job that’s very physically intensive. It sounds silly but it makes you feel more accomplished after a busy weekend. I really want to get the paid subscription because it definitely seems to offer many features that would make this even more useful. It’s a good app either way though..Version: 5.8.3

Virtual trip around VeniceI am loving my virtual walk around Venice. I look forward to reaching my next check point and this is really motivating me to walk further and further. This is making lockdown entertaining. My friends love hearing about my travels and all the useful information I gather along the way. I can’t wait to do another.Version: 6.8.2

Great app!Really like this app. It does everything I want and more for a fitness tracker app. My only gripe is that I find it hard to find things. I’d like one menu with a link to everything ie badges, challenges, streak etc rather than having to remember that some things are found under my profile, some are under “home”, some are under the icon in the corner etc . But otherwise I really like it. And the premium option is super affordable..Version: 8.4.1

Excellent AppPacer is all rounded app for fitness and athletes. it tracks most exercises and it is intuitive. It is an essential app for weight loss, and has multiple plans. It is relatively well priced compared to the other apps in the market. Very stable and easy to use. It has almost everything I need. I would recommend it 100%. It has meal plans, exercise plans, weight loss plans, interactive advise, smart personalised settings, and relatively well priced subscription. I would say, it is an essential app for weight loss, exercise and athletes..Version: 7.6.2

You get out what you put inI’ve been using the pacer app for years now but only recently upgraded to the premium in order to see how useful it would be. I will put it simply, you get out of it what you put into it. When I log into it daily, attempt to meet the calorie burn goal and log my weight, it provides a projection of my weight loss 30 days into the future and provides good tips to staying on my game. I’m not as diligent as I should be with it, and it will show. If I haven’t logged in for a while and I log my weight increase, the projection will change slightly. Motivation! It’s an inexpensive was to hold myself accountable. The only way I could benefit even more from this would be to get a watch that monitors my heart rate and bp. Other than that, I will keep using this app. Worth the change it costs. I would have spent that in a fried chicken sandwich and fries other wise..Version: 6.9.1

Bunni StoweBest fitness app ever-I have been using it everyday since late July 2020 and have lost 17 kgs-pacer is the best!- I have also completed just about all of the adventure challenges which are available on the website-so motivating And I LOVE the collection of finishers medals I have collected-I have recommended this app to several friends, and think it’s a great tool for weight loss and fitness.Version: 8.7.2

Useful and easy to useThe app is very simple to use and provides clear information about daily steps and energy burn..Version: 5.11.1

Great app—better than beforeWhatever bug there was before has long been fixed. This app is fantastic, so disregard the negatives from my previous review and only pay attention to the positives! OLD REVIEW: I love this app! When I first started using it I would set my goal to at least 10,000 steps a day and could keep track of how many steps I was getting in when I would walk my dog, go to the gym, and walk around at work. It was great! I was so proud of myself when I would get to 10,000, 15,000 and then a record of 18,000 steps. So then I tried to beat my record and just the other day got up to over 21,000 steps. The only problem is that the next day when I was looking at my monthly average I saw that my 21,000-step day shot down to zero! What?! I thought maybe my phone just needed to be restarted so I tried that, opened up the app again and yep--sure enough, it still said zero steps for that day. Same thing happened the next day; my 10,000 steps turned to zero when I referred back to it. So I thought I was done with this app but then just today my steps reappeared! So I guess my only complaint is that the steps sometimes disappear for a few days and then magically appear again. It would be really nice if they could work that out--then it would be a five-star app all the way..Version: 8.7.2

Great exercise tracking appI started using Pacer to see how many steps I was taking during the day but it has now turned into a great place to talk to likeminded people who are looking to keep fit and healthy. It has really good milestones to keep you motivated and the community has been amazing. I have met quite a few really cool people on Pacer and love talking to them everyday. I highly recommend Pacer..Version: 3.9.7

So goodEspecially the option that allows you to see how many steps your friend makes too!.Version: 5.7.1

Love this appI love tracking my steps with this app it’s so good and so easy to use. I just have the free version but I’m sure they paid one is even better.Version: 5.4.1

Love this app!I really love this app. I love the idea of a competitive and supportive community being their for you to at least walk 10,000 steps a day regardless of where and how you put those steps in. My only wish for this app is for more 20-30 year olds who are my to join the app. I sometimes feel out of place with the people on this app who are 50-80 years old and I also contemplate to put my distance and location mostly because I get 50-80 year old messaging me and it really isn’t about congratulating me on my accomplishments for the day. But other than that I would recommend this app for any of my friends looking to keep track of how active they are everyday and also if they want to be competitive with others around their area or across the globe..Version: 3.9.4

Michelle PollakGreat app that helps to track your level of activities and motivates you to keep your fitness level up.Version: 7.2.2

Good trackingI love the way the GPS works with this app. I used to have it announce time and distance but after around six months I found it made my walking to much about pace and not pleasure. I only have one criticism that the graphics are not quite as good as other tracking apps I use. I’m also a little annoyed that it asks me log my weight constantly I reached my goal months ago (lost 22kg)..Version: 7.12.1

Greatttt appWonderful cant go without it 🤘.Version: 8.12.1

Definitely RecommendAccurate and a good user interface for the less tech savvy so well done on a good app!.Version: 3.9.12

B McGImmediate feedback let’s me know if I need to move more. But it doesn’t take into account of all the physical work I do, ie using an 80 kg roller to compact dirt on a 40% slope. Up and down ladders to do painting etc.Version: 7.10.2

Pretty nice apI like the ap but I can never tell if it’s working ( turned on ) because no real action buttons and it automatically starts when opened by showing yesterday’s totals so when you close that window, you get to home page. The only setting that shows activity when tapped is the GPS button. Excellent map but seems to gauge steps and miles even when standing still. But still, becoming my favorite of 4 I run simultaneously to see how they work side by side. It stops working at odd times and with ear buds, I don’t hear a message, sound , or anything but when I check phone later, I see a message saying ap stopped like 28 minutes ago or something. I like more reliability. Thanks I like the historic trails but can’t get back to them and the first one”Inca Trail “ had a hard time starting up so I went back to just plain walking. Not too accurate on steps during day, only when set to GPS but then keeps adding distance even when exercise stopped..Version: 6.9.2

Great but make sure it's awake before going for a walk!!I love this app and use it everyday but definitely needs fixing coz it does not automatically turn on all the time. I also find the exercises included are very limited, weight-training should at least be there. It's syncing with Myfitnesspal app sometimes. Both these apps motivates me to move and eat healthy everyday :).Version: 5.7.1

This app has inspired meI wasn’t sure if this would work but knowing how many steps Ive done inspires me to hit and exceed my totals each day/week. I was seriously ill for several years, culminating in life saving surgery 8 months ago. Unfortunately it resulted in almost complete muscle loss and brittle bones. I needed very gentle walking exercise to strengthen my muscles that support my bones. Sounds easy but initially I was stumped, this app solved that. I have a very long way to go but the journey has started, it’s very exciting- thank you Pacer xx.Version: 7.3.2

GPS issues while recording outdoor activitiesI’ve been having an issue where the GPS glitches and thinks I’ve travelled to another location. On the map it usually appears as a straight line to the incorrect location, because it’s thinking I was somewhere else. It invalidates my recorded info because it suddenly says I’ve walked 3 miles when I’ve really only walked 0.4 or something. I really hope this gets fixed, or that you allow us to edit our recorded walks. We should be able to grab sections of a walk and delete them if they’re invalid. Like, sometimes I’ve forgot to disable recording and once I’m in my car. Then me driving home ruins my time/mile pacing, and distance recorded. If I could delete that section it would be fine. Also my voiceover has started saying “10 minutes ONE SECOND” instead of just 10 minutes, 15 minutes, etc,. Not a problem, just different and odd..Version: 3.8.7

Love this appAwesome app can't be happier I used to have the yearly subscription and did use the app a lot more. Now it’s limited I don’t use it every day. I should of stuck to basic membership at the beginning it was all I needed to keep me motivated to get up and become active. Now I am in a different mind set and I exercise before I start my day. Getting up early to go out running. I would definitely use pacer a lot more. I think it’s really over priced for the subscription and use other data trackers that are completely free and give more in-depth recordings 🌈💕🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.Version: 6.6.2

I use it all the time and it inspires me to workout walking.I use it everyday however my step count is not very accurate. Nevertheless I like it. I am using it daily. Helps me keeping fit. I’m using it daily and I love it. I am very impressed with this app This is definitely a great tool for exercise. Excellent app to keep fit. I am very appreciative and glad. This works! The best way to keep fit! I’m excited more than ever. The app is GREAT! Important tool for loosing weight. Great app for fitness Outstanding app for fitness A great way to keep fit. A second to none app for fitness! Works wonderfully every day. The app is outstanding! I’m loosing weight with this app. Definitely the best. I like the app The only app I use. Excellent program. This is definitely a great tool for exercise. I like the app a lot. Fitness greatest app. using it daily and I love it. The app helps me keep fit. I use it daily. Excellent gadget. Thanks A great way to keep fit. A second to none app for fitness!.Version: 6.12.2

Pacer was greatHad efficient go’s tracking and had an average count of step, it also allowed me to use more useful features. Overall I am very happy with its function and tech. There could be better connection and less wait for results to load but it’s the best iPhone step-count I’ve seen. Congrats to the creator of pacer.Version: 6.12.1

Love travelling the world from my own neighbourhoodI love the world wide walking challenges, I think I’ve done 4 already. I’m now on a bit of a running kick, and this just makes it all better and keeps me motivated! It links seamlessly with my Apple Watch and counts my steps all day adding to my total. Love this app!.Version: 7.6.1

Love this App!!!I have been using this app for quite a while now and so far it has not let me down. Accurate step tracking and gps helps in mapping and reviewing my route. Would definitely recommend for someone who is starting out on their walking/ running workouts..Version: 6.5.1

Amazing AppThe app is great! I mainly use it for the adventure challenge series. It does cost a bit but worth every dollar as you get a medal upon completion which is very solid and beautiful. Also it can be used as extra motivation to get moving and active. The start that respond and reply to your quietude via fb chat are great, kind and very responsive! Would recommend to all!.Version: 5.11.1

Great AppI have other Apps installed for fitness but this is by far my Favourite due to all the many competitions and groups . From mini goals to big goals there’s a group for each so you can Pace urself as you go . And everyone are so encouraging and lovely . This is a long keep and use for me and it’s also allowed me not fall of the wagon seeing other people achieving results actually pushes me to do same which is also an encouraging tool ..Version: 6.7.2

Great appReally find this app useful. Fairly accurately tracks distance & calories, although it's as close as you can get to accurate. Seems to match my TomTom activity watch in terms of tracking so I'm happy with it. Shares info with other tracking apps. Simple & straightforward to understand. Will send you notifications, if that's what you want. I prefer not but some like prompters. Nothing super special about the app but it's functional and does what it says it does..Version: 6.7.3

Nice and helpful appNot giving 5 Star because it counts travel also which means in bus or car to count steps that should not happen because we don’t run or walk in bus or car while traveling , It should count only actual walk and running. Otherwise app is great..Version: 3.9.8

Fantastic tool! This is a great app! So easy to record meals which breaks down nutritional value do you'll know just how much eg protein or carbs you've eaten in a meal / or week. Moreover , you can also record the exercise undertaken in a day which also positively impacts on your calorie allowance . it also reminds you to record your meals, so you don't forget . I can't function without it now . An excellent tool to keep a watchful on your consumption and calorie expenditure required to counteract over indulgence! I can't recommend it enough!.Version: 8.7.2

It's a good app, but I need help with an issue!!So a few months ago I lost track of the app because of a phone issue. I was devastated, and soon my running streak and exercise was annihilated. So today, I re-download the app, and I planned to start my running again and get back into the daily exercise. I created a new account to restart my progress and work up, but when I went to verify my email, it said that the email I used was in use for another account. I remembered it was the email I used for the other account, so I went to delete it but I realized I forgot my old password and I don't have it anymore. I tried clicking the (Forgot your password?) button but It didn't work and now I have no way to delete my old account to verify my new one. I need a way to delete it. Help!.Version: 8.7.2

Get movingSince I have MS and a spinal cord injury, this helps to motivate me to get moving more. It helps to understand my pain levels with activity. I used to be extremely active but since my diagnosis/injury, most days are spent sedentary. It’s interesting looking at all of my stats and that’s what makes me want to do more. If your physically challenged I recommend this app for motivation and education on your movement and pain levels. It’s helped my doctors understand my movement issues too. I might not be a marathoner but most days I feel like I’m one now that I can compare my days movements. If I can reach 2000 steps 2-3 times a week my doctors are happier. Great tool to help with my health and well-being. My best days we’re close to 9000 steps a day! Not great for most but it’s like climbing a mountain for me!.Version: 5.8.2

Great free versionLove this app, I have the free version and while basic, is pretty much perfect (though I would love some activity aspects of the premium!). Great for tracking activity, weight tracking and GPS. Gives little reminders about weight logging and exercise without being intrusive. Used to give distance badges just for steps but that got moved to premium which is a little sad..Version: 7.1.1

Great motivation when I need itI love to walk. But sometimes, my motivation waivers. The Pacer challenges have been helping me dig into motivation as tools to help me have a goal. I’ve spent a decade actually walking around London, Paris and Rome, as I lead tours there in real life. Since the pandemic, I’m not leading tours, but taking these challenges helps me feel like I’m still involved with several of my favorite places. As a Tour Manager, I can truly appreciate the check-in locations Pacer chooses, and they have accurate and interesting information about each check-in point, where I even do the 360 degree look around to feel like I’m back in my favorite cities. And the medals I purchase don’t hurt either. I got medals when I completed actual marathons, but these are just FUN! And that is a great motivator!.Version: 6.8.1

ReviewEnjoy Pacer as I can enter my different fitness regimes and be reminded when to get up and move when I’m being a couch potato. There are add ons but at present haven’t subscribed to them..Version: 6.9.1

Wide range of activity support featuresThird month of use. Learning the features took time as some are not intuitive. Impressive database of trails for exercise. Supports GPS tracking of walk, run, bike with data rich, user-selectable filter analytics criterion. I used this feature on several walk abouts to log my steps. I have not used other tracking. Knees only support walking. Annual fee is lower than similar applications. One application wanted $150 then when i chose not to buy they dropped price to 2/3rds. Download from Pacer is safe. Happy walking trails. Get a bud to walk with u. You will be happier and better motivated. Now after nine months I still use the application. Wish additional new material was added to help clients be aware of what peer reviewed health related studies have been published. Plan on using after first year. Cheers and happy stepping..Version: 8.7.2

Pacer App is the BestPacer has held up better than to two other competitors pedometer apps. I like the fact I don’t have to physically remember to open the app each day to start Pacer counting my steps and tracking my distance. The insights are very helpful amd Pacer tracks blood pressure, weight and other categories. There are a good number of challenges to participate in and in one can choose whether or not to connect with acquaintances, family and friends through the Feed. Highly recommend..Version: 3.9.13

PacerGreat app for simply and easily tracking fitness indicators and progress. I personally find it very motivating to set goals and then consistently achieve them. Pacer is a” friend alongside “ which helps me to do this!.Version: 8.11.2

Brilliant App!Considering it's free to download, it's definitely one of the best Apps out there. If you're really into your health as much as I am, you'll find it extremely useful not only in tracking your daily step count (very accurate indeed as it works on par with Apple Health), for a small fee it also offers guidance to help you achieve your personal fitness goals; almost like having a personal trainer in your back pocket. Really impressive! Would definitely recommend!.Version: 6.9.1

Pacer reviewI have used this software for over a month now. It has become a very necessary part of my daily activities. When out walking it gives updates every five minutes, giving me distance covered. This enables me to adjust my pace and if I am ahead of schedule I am personally more likely to push the boundaries just a little bit more . Not a bad thing at all. It aids the feeling of well-being when completed. If for whatever reason I am unable to complete any meaningful exercise, it lets me know how many steps I have completed, giving me a gentle reminder to get a grip and move my body. I find this software suits my needs on fairly basic level and certainly encourages me to keep fit. I thoroughly recommend it..Version: 5.11.1

Easy, Simple, Just What I NeedIt took me a minute to get used to the interface, how it’s laid out, and where to find things. But once I got the hang of it, I have been thoroughly enjoying inputting the data, going back and checking my progress, and being challenged to walk more. It is very well laid out and has a lot to it! And the app can be used as extensively or as simply as desired, which I think is super helpful. I use it for tracking my steps and for charting my weight to see the progress. Even with only using those two features (weight tracker and step tracker), this one was definitely worth the purchase (allowing me to do what I want to do without having to navigate any adds or clunky other interfaces). Absolutely worth the investment. Thanks, Pacer team!.Version: 8.11.2

An app of great precision but with undeveloped potential. This app gives you an accurate calorie burn by putting the “intensity of steps”, age, height, weight and even perhaps, the temperature of the environment(at least I noticed the difference) into consideration/calculation. Despite, the app put these factors into good use of calculating the total calorie burn, I still believe this app have some space to improve to be universal; No. 1, if the app already asked for your height, age and weight for calculating a precise rate of calorie burn by walking or running, why cant they use the information they just gathered from you to give you a basal metabolism rate too?(calorie burn a day without doing nothing)Therefore, by adding the basal metabolism rate to your calorie burn through pacing or running can give you a “real” total calorie burn per day.(Which is practical for you to monitoring your weight loss)No.2, I know this might sound silly, but, if its possible, by adding food’s calorie information to this app will also be great to monitor the weight loss.( all you have to do is minus the “total calorie burn” to food’s calorie count) No.3, Just kidding, there is no No. 3 advise to add. Anyway, if pacer can achieved these 2 improvement, pacer will most likely be more effective and popular!!.Version: 3.8.7

Keep the Pace!I started by making two very small walks a day after my blood pressure went up to 210 and my doctor asked me to loose weight. At that time 199 Lbs. (Female 5 ft 4 in). Always tired and with back pains. After about 3 week and taking care of my type 2 diabetes diet, I had lost 15 Lbs. I increased my walks to 0.5 a mile in the morning, and the same n the afternoon. My daughter (who runs daily) suggested that I download the “Pacer Up” - this was two years ago. I consistently and continually increased the mileage ( now 3 miles in the morning and 2 in the afternoon). My blood pressure (w/some medication) is back to normal levels, so is my diabetes, weight (considering my age) - I have lost and maintain 50 Lbs. The Pace keeps track that keep the pace. Thank you..Version: 8.3.1

Vey satisfiedVery satisfying experience with pacer.Version: 8.12.1

Just what I neededI am really impressed and have never been soo motivated to get steps in. The whole setup is geared towards your hormonal / neural transmitter reward system (dopamine) this occurs at the various check points and the completion of the virtual event. Bring on that first medal. Day 1 and I’m 7.3 I’m into Machu Pichu. I look forward to conquering this and then working through the remainder including the Great Wall of China..Version: 6.2.1

Cool map tracker !!Handy!.Version: 8.12.1

Great for tracking dataGreat for insights, tracking data..Version: 8.5.1

AccuracyI highly recommend you download this app! All you need is to answer a few simple questions about why you downloaded the app and your height and roughly how much you weigh. It helps you to be more active and automatically counts your steps as long as you have your phone with you when you want to calculate your steps. It’s great for helping you loose weight, maintain your weight and even help to steady your blood pressure! Pacer is one of the many apps I tried to help with my weight and I immediately fell in love with it! Depending on what you downloaded the app for, it gives you a target of how many steps you need to do each day. The accuracy is very well done and hasn’t failed me. If you are looking for something like this then this is the app that you need in your life!.Version: 5.7.1
