I’ve used this for a year and I would say it’s accurate overall but that precision probably varies with where you are in the world. As I understand it there are two distinct weather forecasting models, one optimised for the United States the other Europe, so this may account for many variances one might find That’s quite apart from the fact there’s no such thing as 100% accuracy in weather forecasting! I’ve downloaded many weather apps. This is one of only two I’ve kept and use regularly.Version: 2.9.1

✓ This is an awesome interactive weather appI use the town in landscape mode. Tap on the people, they make the Mario sound and grow taller. Tap the dog or cat, they make a bark or meow. Tap the cat a few times- it runs off. Tap on the food trucks, they play their own individual songs. Cars honk horns. Tap on windows at night to turn lights on or off. Tap on doors to open or shut them. Shake the device during the day to see hot air balloons rise or clouds change shapes. Shake the device at night to see fireworks. On the village setting, tap on the cow or horse to hear it moo or neigh and fly. This app is pretty, but most people underuse it. Its also pretty accurate for weather where I live. ✓ Fun and entertainingAll weather apps (weather providers) have inconsistencies from time to time, and this app uses data from the National Weather Service so it isn’t really fair to blame the app for incorrect weather. The app is very well designed and I particularly like the Town scene which is my favorite. The Christmas lights that appear in December are a great touch too, but they’re many things to appreciate and look at in this app..Version: 2.9.1

✓ Please Disable Autolock! See below..Wonderful app. The graphics are crips and clear on retina. For me it seems even more realistic not being hyper realistic. Really like it. Each scene even has ambient sounds. One thing... I can’t enjoy this continuously because the app does not have the ability to disable screen lock. I know the developer thinks its against the App Store conditions because it would make the app a screensaver, but please check again in updated terms. I love being able to pick the setting I’m most familiar with. I love the little snowman in the winter. The application is truly detailed. You can also cause the application to have images in the clouds, fireworks, balloons to float as desired. Find out how to make this happen on You tube. There are planes and comets that shoot across the screen. Being a visual person really helps me to sense the weather before going outside. The application also lets you monitor your friend’s weather even thousands of miles away. What is there not to love about this application. You need to get it. ✓ Love, love, love!I use this app mostly in the winter, because it has allowed me to easily monitor both temp and windchill from one screen all night long for my outdoor kitties. I like the themes, and I love the holiday decorations that appear throughout the year. I especially like that the temps reported seem accurate for my location. Even better than the major weather apps in fact. I live just outside of major metropolitan areas, so getting weather for my exact spot is often difficult. ✓ The best weather AppOne of the best weather app. I am from Atlantic part of Canada. Here the weather changes so quickly and storms are very common here. Getting in the app and having the visual of the weather in animation gives a good idea about the weather. Then there is all the critical details about wind speed and cold. I love the app. The developers kept the app updated always. One feature I would love to have in this app is the home screen widget a smaller version of yowindow, which will allow us turn on and off the animation depending on the user needs. As animations can drain the battery quickly but some user may prefer the animations or battery. Just an idea. Good luck..Version: 2.9.1

✓ Beautiful appThis is such a lovely and well thought out app. I personally have had no problems with crashes. Its certainly been put together with love and has 6 gently animated scenes which reflect the current and forecasted weather in a very peaceful way. For instance in the spring the trees come into leaf and in the winter they are bare or covered in snow if its snowing. As you progress through the week the phases of the moon change too.
