✓ Deceptively powerfulFor the cost, this is a very powerful little app. I certainly allowed me to create a fairly accurate plan ready in time for discussions with my architect. Dimensions, hidden walls, and the fixture and fittings options are very well done. The developer customer service is excellent, truly first rate. I would have liked dimensioning on Doors and Windows (hence the 4 stars), but apart from that, a great product. Removal of the logo (as mentioned by the other reviewer) is very easy, so I feel his low star rating is very mean.Version: 1.3
✓ Undo!!Needs the following. But once you get over these things it’s really easy and works great. 1. Undo/redo button. 2. Select then move tool. Too many times the wrong thing moves. ✓ Exactly what I was looking for, thank youAs a contracting electrician, I use this with Notability for initial quoting and early project planning. Create a floor plan in Planit2d > export as PDF > import PDF to Notability > mark up the plan for: cable runs in different colours for different services, locations of switch boards/comms racks, etc. Another copy of the floor plan PDF gets marked up for our in-house security people for controllers, expanders, PIR’s, cams, etc..Version: 1.5

✓ Allow to share across devicesI have the app on my phone and iPad. However they do not sync. I also think an ‘undo’ button would be extremely helpful. When a line or item is accidentally moved, it is not easy to fix. Especially if your finger grabs a corner instead of the middle stretch. ✓ AwesomeI really really love this app, it is so simple to use and absolutely brilliant for getting ideas down and quick mock ups before getting stuck into a proper cad drawing. The only suggestion I'd have would be for existing drawings to show as thumbnails rather than having to swipe through the list of names. And garage doors too (although I normally just use an opening). But these are just really minor things, still love it!.Version: 1.4

✓ Great floor plan appI had reviewed many other apps for the purpose of drafting and modifying floor plan ideas. This one by far was the better out there. The cost is very reasonable. The only improvement I would suggest is the ability to lock items in place so they can’t accidentally get changed when zooming in for more finer modifications. ✓ Amazing AppWell worth the $ for what you get. Love that you can duplicate a plan so you can alter your work without losing original copy. Super Easy to use, videos are great! I’ve designed my 2 story house on this. This is well thought out app, user friendly & if u have good ideas for house design this is great place to get started. Would love if could add option of dotted lines for (open to above) areas. Also if could add Washer Dryer and Vanity in Fitout options. But I’ve created my own through free draw. One needed thing is an undo option for when u screw up, like stretching a room in odd shape. The only other thing make it more perfect is if had 3D option, I’d pay more for that! ✓ 4.25 Stars!! Built for speedI really like this app for what I need. I need to create designs of homes within 5 minutes and I don’t want to pay for annual subscriptions and I want to be able to try the app first. This app just works for what I need and gives me abilities no other app gives. Very low learning curve, I can build a 2D layout fast, I don’t need measurement either, It just needs to look accurate. There is no other app, hand drawn or otherwise that I’ve seen that can make a 2D layout this fast and this professional. The app also features the ability to copy pre made layouts so you can make templates to get even faster. Maybe I’m missing something but there is no undo button if you delete something or move something by accident which happens all the time when your moving fast I would much rather multiple undos than a pop up to delete mid page. Could be a few more features but for what I do, it’s awesome..Version: 1.8
✓ Few changes and it will be perfectHi, I’m loving the floor plan app. I do however have some requests/suggestions that I hope the developers will consider... The tiled surface option should show below kitchen sideboards but it covers the top of them. a "cupboard" to drag and drop would be nice, like a wardrobe or built-in storage. a U-shaped kitchen sideboard would be nice an UNDO button (that’s always in the corner) would be nice (maybe to undo up to the last 5 actions) (or an "undo" gesture) the door gap option does not look like a gap. a simple "wall gap" would be useful a "bring to front" option, as putting an arrow above a stair, to show the direction, is hard, as the arrow is not visible under the stairs. a bath with a shower over it would be a great option, as that's a common set up in the UK a sink with a drainer board would be nice for the kitchen. A dashed-line in the free draw section would be useful, and a rectangle with a dashed-line would also be useful. an option to colour in the rooms would be very useful allowing a room without walls (a patch) is useful as it can be coloured green for grass and grey for a path, to allow the plot to be added to the plan being able to change the size of the room labels (like you can change the size of the free text) would be helpful. a "tree" or "bush" that can be placed in a garden or in a room would also be nice. (also a sofa, table and a TV would be nice) ability to put a logo (or watermark logo) in the background would be nice. Export button that puts all floors on one page would be nice. the free text allows you to add a disclaimer, but its a bit clunky as you can't use the "return" button to add a line to a text box. Making it work on MacBook Pro as well as iPad would be cool finally (and least important, but I guess hardest to make) is a 3D conversion button (like PlanUp has) to convert the plan from 2D to 3D.... and all that, would make this FP package PERFECT! I would be happy to pay a handsome fee for such a package, and I know many, many other estate agents in the UK would too. I hope you can do most/all of them? Thanks.Version: 1.7
✓ Damm good app for layout design, pretty good and easy to useUsing it to design my home extension and remodeling project. Very useful and easy to use. There is reason I did not give five stars. It is takes internal dimensions and does not show on the diagram external dimensions. It only have external area as lump sum. I greatly appreciate if external dimensions can be shown explicitly. E.g. for walls touching external, entire wall width is added. For internal walls only half width is added. App developers, hope you are listening. This should not take much time to add BTW. ✓ Steve KI have downloaded a few apps to design rooms within a building plot. This one has been very well thought out with the different layers, land, floor 1, floor 2 etc. It's pretty basic, but that's all you need to get something ready for a planning application and give you an idea of what you can achieve within a given space.. It's never crashed-yet. Once you get the hang of it it's very simple to use. I love it! Would have given it 5 stars if it had, an undo and redo function, plus the doors and windows sometimes jump out of position once saved. In summary a great app, forget the rest this is the one you need. UPDATE: Its PERFECT, I had a corrupt download which is why the doors and windows were moving, all spot on now, the support from Peter is EXCELLENT.Version: 1.1
✓ It’s Great But Needs UpdatingThis is so much fun! I can spend hours playing around with designing my future home. However, many reviewers have hit on the flaws that keep it from 5 stars. Can’t adjust the font size for rooms. Can’t label outside spaces such as “porch.” A slight adjustment makes walls go wonky, and it DESPERATELY NEEDS AN UNDO feature. Sometimes you have to literally move a room out of the house to fix the size. There should also be a way to set the size of a room or element by typing in the dimensions you want. It would be great to be able to add a houseplant, desk, or small table or bookshelf, as well. Developer, please update! :).Version: 1.8

✓ Easiest floor plan creator everI’ve always loved drawing floor plans since I was a kid, and this application makes creating floor plans that are accurate and to scale super easy and intuitive. It’s a bare-bones, basic application for creating 2D floor plans, which is really all I need; I don’t need to worry about how it’s going to look in 3D since that feature is nonexistent. You can create spaces over 2 million square feet (I tried that with zooming out) so if you really wanted to, you can create a shopping mall or another large-scale project. The only recommendation I’d make to improve it is the ability to rename floors, so that I can add a proper basement floor instead of it being Floor 1. Other than that, it’s a great application that does everything I need it to do, and it’s very easy on your battery life..Version: 1.7

Sometimes with the stretch feature you can accidentally pull it into a weird shape and if you can’t get it to go back, you have to delete the whole room and start over. An “undo” button would solve that. But I LOVE that you can add rooms that are already labeled rather than having to draw a floor plan wall by wall. It’s super quick and easy to use! It’s a five star app except for the really dated and quirky UI - but don’t let that put you off! One time payment (none of this subscription nonsense) makes it an easy purchase . Multiple floors, fantastic room editing, simple sketching, imports, lots of items to fit out your rooms (all editable) and export to PDF or image with a scale. ✓ Great for Domestic Energy AssessorsI needed an app to create floor plans for domestic energy assessments that was easy and quick to use. With this app you can create a floor plan room by room or by perimeter (simply create a room the size of the entire perimeter, split and shape, add square shapes and stretch for internal rooms, use different colours for extensions) in a few minutes. Add colours for party and alternative walls and notes for heat loss perimeter and export to camera roll. And yes you can also use shapes to design bay windows! I can definitely recommend this app for ease of use and flexibility after reviewing and trying many other similar apps..Version: 1.1

As with any software there are few little quirks- but nothing major. On opening a drawing to show someone - if they point to something but touch the screen something could move. I just ‘duplicate’ and show the duplicate instead. A ‘lock’ button may be useful..Version: 1.7
