Using this app is like playing a probability gameLike what our probability Professor taught us, you can never know what is the outcome of the app after you press the “next” button. It could be refreshing for ever, telling you insufficient fund while you have hundreds of dollars in your account, a 404 error, an error message called “throw an error,” or a successful next step with an extremely small probability. Good for learning probability, but useless for ordering coffee..Version: 10.4.1

Buggy and they force updates when you may not be able toI hate apps that force you to update. If i’m at the store and want to use I need to update first. sometimes it’s slow and takes time. i just want to get my coffee and update later when I have time. they update so much because the app is so buggy..Version: 8.6.4

Okay appPersonally I don't like this app so I give it a 2. I don't like this app because what if you don't have a credit card or any card. What if your like 13 you have no card so you can't make an account. As a Starbucks lover I wanted an app that I could easily take my time and see what I want and not wait in line, so I got this and it didn't work for me. Payment method needs upgradeFirst huge block for me as a user is the need to get a Starbucks card and load money onto it. It is an extra, unnecessary step in the age of electronic finance. Riddled with bugs and frequently fails or crashes, yet the reps at the supposed customer service hotline for its creator (HK Starbucks , aka Creative Concepts?) have no idea how to explain behavior of the app let alone fix problems... nor do they seem to care much. Most ironical is that the claimed ability of this app to auto recharge from a credit card simply does not work. THE WORST APP EVER!!When you do by chance get logged on, it's often glitchy. Numerous times my money is gone. Please fix your app!!!Please stop signing out your users constantly, we use this application while we are waiting in line to order at your stores. Signing us out only slows down the service and frustrates your customers. Also, online ordering is slow and too many steps, please perform system and UI optimization. For items saved in favorites, please save the modifiers and default the quantity to 1 instead of zero. These are only extra steps leading to more frustration for your users and it is compounded by the poor application performance. I see that a new update was released but it signed me out and invalidated my credentials. The account was locked trying to sign back in and a password reset does not unlock the account..Version: 10.6.0

This App is a disgrace to the Fantastic Staff who work in StarbucksI can’t believe how this updated App was signed off. When you do an update, the expectation is it improves the experience - this does the exact opposite. Amongst the many failings: - I constantly have to keep on signing back in. - I constantly have to re-register my favourite Starbucks - no ability to save my favourite drink. You can save the type, for example, Americano, but it defaults to Grande, which is not the size I want. - no way to have a favourite order and place to collect (which was on the last app) - several times I have arrived, and the poor staff have to check my phone as they haven’t received the order. This is so poor. I didn’t think the previous app had a great user experience. This app is so much worse..Version: 10.1.1

Bad experience upgradingI am standing at the queue to discover that Starbucks forces me to update the app before I could use my money that they took already for me to pay for coffee. The update required me to log in again. Not remembering the password I had to send off for password recovery. No problem there, but they do not respond to recovery request. Still stuck at the pastIf this app represents Starbucks Hong Kong, this would mean the company is couple years behind the world. This app is not up to the standard of Starbucks. It is still not optimized for iPhones with screens bigger than 4 inches, which was released nearly 2 years ago. No passbook/wallet support. Seriously? That is the best user case and the company elects to skip it. App takes like more or less an hour to refresh to the latest reward stars, and user cannot redeem reward at the shop immediately. I haven't even mentioned Apple Watch. TL;DR: 2000s technology in 2016..Version: 5.0

Oct 2022 still very buggyAfter recent update, could not place order due to errors “thrown” by app. Today I deleted then reinstalled and could place an order. But it’s still quite slow and the UI is very difficult. This app has a long history of problems and seems little improvement..Version: 10.1.0

Absolutely terrible appFIX YOUR APP!!! This is the most useless app I’ve used. It never works right—it’s impossible to add money to a Starbucks card, it doesn’t include seasonal items when using it to order, it can take up to 30 seconds for a new page to load, sometimes even after a page loads items will appear or disappear, and it won’t let you use rewards when ordering for delivery. Half the time it’s just random error codes..Version: 10.5.1
