✓ Bring back old lucky chestI love the game the only reason you’re missing the other two stars is because of the lucky chest. The old lucky chest were AMAZING I don’t see why you had to change them. I hate having to spin lucky chest just to get parts to guns why can’t I just have a low percentage to get the golden friend or spark shark. The game is no longer fun now that there are powerful guns only kids whose parents let them buy in game purchases can afford. Years ago this game was so fun and it was challenging fighting other players but it wasn’t impossible. Now you spend exactly 2 seconds in a game and immediately get one shotted by a kid with a sniper that disintegrates you. There are hackers who use aim bots so you can’t take five steps work dying. You stand no chance now and it’s no longer fun. Everybody is either a hacker, a kid whose parents give them too much money, or some poor sap like myself who is neither and suffers for it. The single player games are the only ones still worth playing on the game now, those are still good but the player vs player games are ridiculous. If you like the single player feature like fighting waves of monsters etc, this games great but if you want player vs player games, play Pixel strike instead. ✓ Really good but eventually gets pay-to-winI really enjoyed the game for a long time and it was my favourite game up until I reached level 35 and realised that there was very little motive to keep playing the game. Back in lower leagues (like 20-27) there was always a reason to play on, whether it be to level up and unlock new weapons or get a few extra coins/gems to purchase that new gadget or item. But now closing in on level 38 (max) , it has become less captivating as it is nearly impossible to win good things from chests and the only reason you visit the app is to get more gems, which never happens and can basically only be achieved by spending money on the game. In higher leagues all weapons become gems and the only good weapons that you want to get are at least 300 gems on sale and take forever to accumulate. I recently saved up for the multitaskers and according to previous reviews online was about a 4 hit kill but they have been nerfed to at least a 10 hit kill. Not fair to spend that many gems for a underpowered weapon. This game would be much better if there were constant rewards that provided motive to continue playing eg: 5 gems a day for coming back, improved luck In “not-so-lucky-chests” and a more balanced purchasing system, new weapons and maps, and generally more reason to stay on the game. ✓ What happened to this gameI remember getting this game nearly a decade ago, the gameplay was super choppy and hard controls, but as the years went on it got better, and funner. But at some point in 2017 or 2016, the game had changed without me realizing. I have only ever bought in game currency 6 times in my whole life, and none of those were for this game. I had played so much and gotten everything without paying a single cent, yet while playing new accounts I would realize that I would loose way more often to players with weapons that have literally not heard of. Then after a while a lot of people were saying the same thing about this game, it’s a pay-to-win game. But I was never like that. I had stopped playing Pixel Gun late 2019, two years went by and I decided to download the game again, and oh boy I was left in awe. The game had become a complete pay to win. I was just shocked, no longer did Pixel Gun have any of the charm that it had years ago. The game itself looked better (as expected) but the downside of that is just greedy developers trying to squeeze money out of kids with bright ads advertising LIMITED TIME ONLY! and 30% OFF DONT MISS IT. I know this sound like I ate the game but it’s still sort of fun. I don’t play this game anymore like I used to but I really hope to see that they’ll at least make it fair for people that don’t want to waste money. For instance I was playing a duel and I had 906 gems. Then this guy comes up and asks me for 3 fighter chests and that he would repay me. So me being the stupid idiot that I am , I trusted him and gave him 3 fighter chests. But when it was time for him to give me his fighter chests he just stole them back and I went from 906 gems to 672 gems in a matter of minutes. So developers please find a way to fix this . ✓ THE BEST... but p2w and price of guns..Ok I’ve been playing PG3D for about 5 years now and it’s by far the best and most addictive game ever. I love the animations when they die, the designing on the guns and the modes. The reason why this game is completely different to Fortnite is because the name first of all actually makes sense, 2, there is not as much twitch streamers ruining the game with the sweatiness and last there isn’t as many p2w people in it. But, nowadays pixel gun gun prices have gone absolutely through the roof and now I can’t buy anything! Guns like the acid pistol are 750 coins! The torpedo launcher is 1.9k such as the energy drill. But all round this game is absolute pleasure and blessing to play. It’s one of those games where you sneak the iPad into bed and play. It’s just non stop addicting. I don’t have any problems with the games but the prices of the guns. It’s a lot easier now to save up for coins instead of having guns to buy for like 700 gems. I remember then, no one had anything cause of how extremely hard gems were to get but they also had another choice which was to pay. Now, paying in this game is really undeserved cause people like me grind so many hours cause it’s literally the only good game on my iPad but when I grind and I see a noob pull out 200$ and spend it and get way better weapons then me, it’s really annoying. ✓ Crashes Every Game! Fix!I WOULD have given this game a 4/5 because this game is actually really fun but, every update there is, the laggier it is and the more it crashes. I get into a game and play for a bit and all of a sudden, my game is glitchy and then boom it back at my home screen. I thought this was a glitch so I got back in and into a match and the same thing happened, it just crashed. I got back onto it again and turn my FPS to 30, turning off my music and sound affects and everything that might cause my game to crash. I do that and get into a match and, yet again, it crashes. I was trying to get into team death match by the way, I tried siege but I crashed before the game even loaded. This game is really good and can still grow and has major potential but these crashes don’t help whatsoever. Maybe you need a better phone? ✓ Bit of trouble downloading and really annoyingYep you saw the title, I'm having a really hard time trying to download it. I've been waiting for it to download for about 3-4 hours and it's gone about 5% of the way. It was at 60% in the first 2 hours and now it's all gone. Also btw, I had this game like 1-2 years ago and it got really hard super fast and it got boring so I pretty much just did the sniper battles. ✓ Definitely not as good as it used to be.I'm going to start this review off by saying I like this game and I think everyone should give it a try, however I also have a few bad points to include, hence why I am leaving it with 2 stars. I have been playing this game for so long I can't even remember when I first played it, and from the time I started, to this present day, I must say the game has only gotten worse. This game used to be decent, but through the latest updates it has only become worse and buggier. Multiplayer matches are a joke, with constant freezing allowing everyone to shoot eachother standing still, which throws all skill out of the window. The pay to win aspect of the game has gotten out of hand, with some people being simply too overpowered due to in app purchases. Hitboxes are useless because of the amount of bugs, and more times than I can count, the game crashes while loading or in colourful fights. For beginners this game doesn’t seem hard, with an ok (but not too original) single-player story and fast progression at the early stages. ✓ Not what it was.It’s not what it was. It’s still decent, but it used to be a fairly simple and fun pixley thing. Over the years, they’ve added more and more features and remade most of it. It’s not necessarily worse, but it’s hardly recognisable as the game it used to be. It would be like if Minecraft tried to develop by removing building and you have to make things in special worlds then spawn them in. They started doing events a while ago, but have run out of ideas. Instead of a generic space event, they now have a very specific event about an odd set of forest wizards that are only slightly different from those in another event. The same applies to weapons. They now have lots of weird attributes that either don’t mean anything or make the game unfair. Every so often, you realise that the developers have gotten rid of or radically changed everything since the thought last occurred to you. It seems that as the game gets more successful and the budget increases, it lacks the effort and motivation that needs to be put into making it. ✓ Cash GrabOk, to start off, Pixel Gun 3D is a great game, hats off to the developers in like the middle east or somewhere, but this game is basically a HUGE cash grab. For example, every time you select a gun that you can buy, it says 30%. That obviously means 30% off, but ALL of the guns say 30% and they are also NOT 30% off. The 30% icon is trying to get you go buy coins/gems and buy the gun before the sale ends. But there IS NO SALE. IT’S JUST TRYING TO GET YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. Also, now there are a lot of gun parts in chests now. When I say “a lot of gun parts”, I mean there is like 3 parts for each gun. ✓ New Updates aren’t greatI’ve been playing Pixel Gun for as long as 4-5 years and I have always been obsessed with it.. For the past good few months new updates have been coming out and new guns and modes, the fact that the new guns coming out requires parts for you to get them is very frustrating and not at all needed. The new guns are also not as OP and as powerful as the old gun way back in the game. PG3D is of course a very brilliant game to play but the new modes such as battle royale are not as amusing as the original modes like Team fight and Deathmatch. I would also like to comment on the new graphics and the way you move and how you shoot; I find it very difficult to move around quickly and to aim efficiently to get the best out of my time on the game. It’s very difficult to play now with the continuous updates and the now permanent way we move in the game. There is also a lot of new features being added which are hard to understand and it is becoming increasingly different to play the game with friends and having fun with friends. Now usually you will fight against enemies that are at or around your character’s level, but there is a chance of you being matched against players that sometimes can be 10-15 levels higher than you(Sometimes they’re at the same level as you but they have overpowered weapons that have high efficiency), because of this you’ll most likely be killed in ONE hit most of the time (Sometimes you would have to die MULTIPLE times to kill them ONCE), this results in extremely unfair matches where your team would most likely lose because of these juggernauts (Even when you have one of these juggernauts on your team you’ll most likely get last place because they literally come out of nowhere and steal your kills just to be in first). I’ve joined multiple matches where my team would lose because the enemy team had one of these guys that probably pours hundreds of dollars into the game on their team. ✓ BrokenBack in the good old days of pixel gun where only a few modes existed (ffa tdm and ctf and the campaign mode) back then my iPad mini 2 had no problem loading up this game. I really loved it! Weapons and upgrades cost hundreds some even thousands. from each game you get 1-4 coins but no gems, you can watch an ad to multiply the amount you get by 2x and... that’s for only one weapon!!! I created an account about 6ish years ago and I had about 2k wins on it and would play the game on and off. When switching to a new device, I was able to recover my account through google play. I played on that device for several months before taking a break. One day I decided I would play again but when I returned my entire account had been reset with a few exceptions. I still had my friends list, my stats partially remained (about 150 wins) but everything else was gone. My skins, weapons, levels, had all been reset and I lost hundreds of dollars worth of items. Being disappointed, I quit the game for a long time and this week I tried to recover that account forgetting everything was gone. I have seen this issue happen with many players and it seems nobody is doing anything at the customer support. I sent an email in july 2019 and got no response. This week I have sent two more regarding my old account, and still nothing. I loved this game so much, but now I am left to start from scratch not wanting to spend another penny on this game after everything I lost. ✓ Alright...Ok so when I started pixel gun 3D when it came out I was really happy with the game. Not high prices, not a huge variety of campers. But now it has grown popularity and has lost popularity. To pixel gun I have spent a lot of money on this game and I just don’t think it’s really worth it because there are people that have really good guns that are better than the guns you just purchased. ✓ Game is not really heading the right wayThe game right now is in a really bad state. The only thing that is coming out is new weapons. These weapons are always op and then gets nerfed to the ground. Also we are still waiting on the lighting raid, and this game in general runs really badly. This game as a blocky game runs worse than PUBG Mobile which is higher res. In my opinion a lot of the old craftable weapons need to be moved to the arsenal and gets their rarity changed. A good way to implement it is to have the arsenal on a rotation of weapons so it is always new and refreshing. ✓ ImbalanceWhat first attracted me to pixel gun was it’s fun gameplay that also involved skill to play. I’m played it for years now and I’ve never seen such terrible weapon imbalance in the game. Op Area damage weapons are still ravaging the game making for easy kills without the need to aim. Ninja shurikens are much worse for me though. What’s the point of having a free kill button without the need to fire a single shot. If you go into many duel matches you have little chance of winning as your opponent can simply make themselves invincible with their Melee ability and tap to kill you with shurikens. Complete lack of skill which drew me to the game in the first place. I just hope they nerf some of these weapons because it’s tiring to face the exact same weapon every game from each player due to how op they are rendering other weapons useless. Kill a hoard if enemy's to proceed to the next world. But if you died, you would have to start all over.. I played the game when you had to pay for it. As since a new version came out.. a multiplayer player survival. As this is kinda faded for me but that's when in game currency came in.. few bug patches later and team death match came out. And you could buy guns with the in game currency. Then.. came the P2W feature... As I was fine at first, it started to get lots more updates. Frequently, so frequently I had to delete half of my games to keep up with my storage. As the years gone by, the P2W was starting to get annoying. So I deleted it off my iPod. Few years later I came back to the game with my new iPad I got for my birthday. As fourth I had to pay more money. As it kept going on and on I'd have enough of the game and delete it forever..? 2017.. I was honestly bored so I checked out the games on the App Store and guess what I found again.. Pixel gun 3D... The symbol within your game for the English language is the British flag. ✓ Good, but many flaws.I love this game and I have done since I got it 3 years ago. I’ve spent money on to get some good stuff. But I’ve never had problems with it since today. So I was saving up for the Pet Dragon special weapon (which cost 130 coins in the 30% off) and I play a game of team melee only and my team win, with me getting 20 kills, and I started the game with 124 coins. So I finish the match and go up to gold league and it gives me none of the rewards, then I go to get my match rewards and again no rewards so I look at my coins and I’ve got 91 coins. That is one of the 2 main problems for me. The other one is Is you play one team fight then go to play another on the same map with the same sort of people, it doesn’t fairly level out the levels, like you might have 3 20+ level accounts on one team and none on the other.
