✓ Fantastic drawing tools, but crashes and moreThis is the best set of drawing tools I have used. This includes procreate, concept, trace, and fresco. However, it crashes about once an hour..while in most cases there are only a few things to fix when restarting. Several of the tools are hard to understand how to use, for instance the only way to do a gradient is to use the gradient tool which must be selected from 4 colors that the app selectes and it fills the entire canvas since there is no way to fill a selected area when using the tool. The color picker is summoned and exchanged for active tools , sometimes in the middle of an operatIon, and the color picker changes the color to another color without notice. The app could use a way to select either a color, or selection boundary and fill that area with the drawing tools. The spline tool is fantastic, but is limited to two points only and you can’t make fills in closed shapes...Version: 25.14
✓ IdeaThis app is amazing I was playing Procreate but I can’t play it because my iPad is too old. So then I found this and it is really fun. But I have an idea. ✓ Good starter!I use this app because it is easy to access and I’m still figuring out Fire alpaca. It’s a good app! I do have a problem with the fact there’s no line smoother, though. The lineart is usually wiggly no matter how much caution I have while drawing. A line smoother would definitely be handy! Second off, this app is hard to do detailed drawings on! The blending doesn’t look that good and only 2/4 blenders actually work. Also, there’s no blur tool, no select option, and the brushes aren’t overall amazing quality. The things I wanna see from this app are line smoothing, better blend controls, blur tools, and a make it easier for detailed drawings. Good app overall! I would also like to say that whenever o download a piece, it always comes out blurry and strange looking. Please fix this!.Version: 22.3
✓ This app is awesome, but I have one suggestion.Okay, so I think this app is awesome and I love to draw all sorts of different things on it. I especially like the community section, however it only lets you post once a day for some reason? I think you should be able to post as many times as you want. You don't have to make it so that you can post several times a day, I am just wondering why it is the way it is, so please tell me. I love all of the different tools, and I like doing community things, I just think there should be no limit to how many you can share. Maybe that’s just because I am addicted to drawing, but I hope you read this and maybe consider opening the amount, maybe not even completely, but a little more that one. Like, 2, 3, or 4. ✓ As good as newAfter every big update there seems to be a problem with the app, but with time they fix it and I commend that. I've been using Tayasui for years, bought the pro version in 2020 and never looked back. It has everything you need with a simple interface, which really helps considering the size of phone screens. It makes drawing on your phone fun and easy, and while the latest update does complicate things a bit more than I'd like, I still enjoy using the app for all my on-the-go drawings needs.Version: 30.4

✓ Worth the pro priceLove it! Bought pro on the first day after using it. I’m a beginner in graphics design, and this is a good, beginner-friendly, easy to use app! ❤️ I especially love the patterns! Only one suggestion - it would be nicer if we can draw a line, circle & square in an easier way - like we did in Paint. It’s a bit of work to draw a ruler first, then I can draw a straight line with a pen. ✓ I love this app!! The tools are cool, and I like the eraser!Gonna keep experimenting with this app and see all the cool things that possible to overcome. I wanted to mention one of my favorite apps, Adobe Draw is gonna be discontinued on July 19th, 2021 and won’t be on the App Store if it’s not installed by then. I have it installed. Though, the app won’t be updated anymore. the last time we could use it will be until Early January 2022, next year. Though, I have been looking for other apps so that. Don’t get stuck with having limited apps for creating and art, and I have downloaded sketch tree, and I have this app: though, I didn’t purchase the pro version. I should because It’ll be better than ever. ✓ I don’t love the new updateThis app is great and pro is even better. Iv been using tayasui sketches for over 4 years, and overall has been a very positive experience. However, the app would occasionally crash, and I would lose some progress - I don’t know if this has been fixed from the new update. The thing is, I hate the new update, the layout just isn’t as efficient as it was before, and trying to zoom in with two fingers, now rotates the entire drawing making it a bit irritating to use. However, other than me preferring the old version this app is genuinely 5 stars..Version: 30.3
✓ Fantastic for drawing but frequently crashes recentlyLove drawing with this app, I have tried many similar ones and I find this one produces the nicest results. I think it’s down to the way the brushes flow. I hadn’t used it for a year or so and installed on my iPad (which is 5th gen, so not that old) over the weekend. Unfortunately after upgrading to the Pro version, I have found it crashes frequently, literally during every drawing at least once but usually more, leading to lost work. So I hope this is just a temporary bug which can be fixed asap. My only other criticisms would that be the interface can get in the way sometimes (be good to minimise it more) and it’s too easy to move the page by accident. Other than the points raised, it is great - highly recommended and hopefully it will be updated soon so I can get back to doodling uninterupted 😊.Version: 21.4

✓ Love the layering toolThe ability to use two layers without paying has been an absolute lifesaver for me. Most other art apps make you pay to use their layering tool. Only suggestion would be to add a free eye dropper tool to pick colours. Super easy to upload and export your images, and a good range of brushes. ✓ Even great for a noviceI have no experience or talent with drawing what I call "proper" art. However I received a book on how to create art on an iPad and went looking for a simple to use app. This is the one I've stuck with and even paid for the pro version (and I usually stick to free/ad-supported apps). For me it took trial and error to figure out what each brush did and how the layers worked. But I find this app easier to get the hang of than others and it hooks me in to try drawing more things. I also like the colouring book feature in the process version which means basically two apps in one. Well worth paying for..Version: 17.6
✓ Really good app! One thing...Sketches is very good, if you like drawing and creating pictures then Sketches is definitely for you. It has tons of different tools to draw/create with but there’s just one thing; sometimes when I zoom in to do a finer detail and then move to do another, it’s undos the thing I drew before. Does that make sense? Basically it undos something I drew when I move to draw another thing. I find this annoying if I just want to draw a quick picture. ✓ GreatOne thing I might add though, is a cut button, and also every now and then, my different pens stop working except for the ruler, rubber, and knife. And it won’t start working again in the next half an hour, sometimes I have to delete and install the app again for it to start working, and that means I loose a lot of my artwork... Please fix the not working pen issue soon.. Otherwise, the app is wonderful, and I really recommend it because it has a lot of options other drawing apps do not have! ✓ Superb App for quick sketchesI tried many sketching apps in the past, but this one now lives on my Home Page in my iPad Pro! Why? Because I can just think of a project, open the App and start drawing, without thinking about “what the app will do” BEFORE I actually want to start drawing. I am an impulsive person and so some ideas just “bang me in the head” so to speak and I want to transfer these ideas on “paper”, before something else distracts me and I loose my thoughts! ✓ Amazing app, just a little compliant and a small bugNow, I’ve been using this app for a couple months now and I have to say, I love it with everything I have! It’s been working quite well with me although I only have one complaint; where is the standard font? Ever since I updated the app, I’ve been wondering were the standard font is seeing as it doesn’t seem to list of fonts I can use if I want to type something and I myself like making comics and have used the standard font for that purpose. As well as that, one of my friends who also uses the app has found a bug where when she tries using the light tool on any of her artworks on the same layer as something else, the drawing gets deleted!.Version: 20.0
✓ One little issue!!Whenever I go to the sketches community recently, it just shows the loading circle with a black background, and the only thing that it recognizable about this to be the sketches community is the ‘new’, ‘popular’, and ‘featured’ sections (which all have the same screen of black whenever you may click it.) I thought it was maybe my WiFi when this started happening, so I waited. But I was waiting for a significant amount of time; my WiFi bar(s) barely dropping. I was annoyed with this and wanted to see the works of other people as well as mine to see if it made it in there safely. Please fix this if you can!!! ✓ Pretty good drawing app, but one major problem...This is a pretty good app on its own and I’ve been using it on my iPad for a long time now for many of my digital drawings and sketches. However, recently I have found that when I try to enter the app, it crashes before I can even access a folder outside the one it loads you into. I’ve redistributed my drawings to my phone and the app works just fine on there, but I have deleted and reinstalled the app on my iPad (where the crashing issue initially is) and it still crashes when I load my backed up drawings into the app again. I don’t know if it’s the new update that causes this issue or if this app can only handle a certain limited capacity, but I’m not sure what to do. I can’t even use the app to draw or edit at all on my iPad..Version: 25.7

✓ The new update is ok, but..I like the new update, since you can edit the ruler, but I think that's all we needed.. the colour bar in the bottom corner didn't need to be bigger, because it covers up more of the screen, especially when you go to change the colour, also, the bars on the right where you change the opacity and size, i don't know why that changed, but I preferred it when you could tap then it would go there, and now that has a cover behind it so that also covers more of the screen. The app it's self didn't need to change because it's more annoying, thought the idea that you can change the direction of the ruler was the only useful thing. Apart from that the app is great, best drawing app there is apart from that update. I would give it 5 but a few bits annoy me. First, having a specific size, high. Or low, I really annoying. Just let me please have a smaller size of the brush instead of the lowest being 4.0. Second, I cannot zoom in all the way. I am trying to draw something Close up to draw but the closest is not close enough. Third, I cannot turn the page. Why can I turn the page? I really want to turn the page to draw specifically. Very annoying these things and also having to buy &10 for more layers is very annoying. ✓ Great app, best water colour tools.I’m an Architect and have used the pro version of this app for years, it’s brilliant, life like drawing tools that are the best of any app, and I’ve tried them all. Especially the water colour tools. One suggested improvement: When importing images it would be good if they could be transparent when transforming them so that they can be easily scaled to other images/drawing layers. ✓ An amazing drawing appThis app is amazing for drawing. Let me explain, first, the tools are useful. Some apps will give you 3 or 4 tools, or some wold give you way to many. This app gives you just a right amount to create good drawings. Another thing is the layers. So some will not include layers at all, and yes this one does only give you 2, but it gives you a reason to get pro. Plus you can create some pretty stellar things with 2 layers. And while the good features are saved for pro, it’s doesn’t do what other apps will do that make it so you need pro. I really only have one issue with this app. When you make custom colors sometimes they just get deleted in certain drawings for no reason. I think that’s quite a major issue, because custom colors are fairly important, but that’s the only issue I can really think of with this app. Everything else I don’t like is just because I can’t get pro. The stroke either doesn’t register or doesn’t register in full (i.e. half or less than half of the stroke). This is having issues with drawing quality. Are you having similar feedback elsewhere? ✓ Great app, but a few kinks to work outI use this app on a regular basis for drawing cartoons. Overall, it's a wonderful app and worth using. While yes, opening the app and having to wait a few minutes for it to finish "Rebuilding Database" can be a bit annoying, it's worth the wait to use the app. However, even after waiting until it finishes loading and opening a drawing to work on, I have started having a small gray box appear in the middle of my screen (once again reading "Rebuilding Database"). Unlike the one that appears when the app is starting up, this box doesn't seem to make any sort of progress along the lines of loading-- meaning it just sits there in the middle of my screen (and drawing), which is more than a bit bothersome. I do admit that I am very cautious when I am drawing, and I tend to make a copy of my drawing every time I make a significant edit as to not lose too much progress should the app force quit out of nowhere. This results in having many, many drawings, which may cause problems with the app being slow sometimes or taking a while to make copies of drawings. I don't know if this has anything to do with my "Rebuilding Database" problems, but I assume that, like any problem, I'm not the only person dealing with it. Aside from my own personal issues, this app is one of the best I've ever used, and I know I will continue using it for a long time. ✓ Great versatilityI like this app a lot but I had an issue with downloading the paid pro version. I have Apple Family sharing, yet I was charged for all four family members downloading the pro version. I contacted Apple about the issue and all they did was automatically issue me a refund for my own Apple account, which is not what I wanted. ✓ Terrible!I used to think this app was ok until I found a much better one that was totally free with no paywall anywhere! I do not recommend tyasui sketches to any artist who want to get a clean, professional looking drawing without paying. Things that are needed and are either not there or blocked are: .coloured backgrounds (without drawing your own) .cannot change the size of blending tool .putting a photo in the background then taking it out .layers! You NEED to have layers when ever digital drawing! Layers are so crucial! Also, once I tried to change the colour of my background and it worked, but whenever I tried to change it again it just paywalled it! I don’t want to pay $10 for a drawing app that’s not even that good! There are tutorials on sketches, but they are all for the pro version, which, is obviously NO HELP WHATSOEVER! It’s simple, yes, but other, more complicated drawing apps work much better. If you want a professional drawing check out Autodesk Sketchbook. ✓ Would really appreciate it if the community page was reinstated.Used to use Sketches for a while, perhaps half a year, and found it a great app to learn to draw. I enjoyed the community feature to find other people’s drawings, and honestly was the main reason I still used the app. Needless to say, I was very disappointed when it was removed. ✓ Great, unless using the communityIn my opinion this game is amazing but, there are some glitches that make it seem horrible too. I recommend this game for everyone ENLESS you are using the community. I used to post on the community and i loved it, but I can’t anymore because it wont let me post. Another thing to fix is the wifi glitch. As long as your wifi is off you can minus how many likes you want on other peoples work, which is upsetting to the many people who has lost likes. Thirdly, I think it would be helpful if you could add a search button on the community because it would be easier to search up Artists names. There is one more bug I would like to address: When you are typing and tap the screen to go out of it, it still has the blue bar so unless you press return (On laptop) you are stuck with the blue line. ✓ Love it, but not really.The title might sound confusing so I should explain it right now. This app is the app that got me back into drawing. It’s usable, easy to manoeuvre and smooth when drawing. But to me art has two major steps (the initial drawing and the colouring or shading). As far as I can tell, and I could just be missing a point (if so please let me know xx) that if I lift my pen from the screen while colouring I can’t go over what I’ve just drawn without the colour coming out darker (as in where I’ve drawn it’ll act like I’ve applied more ink) It’s irritating because it gives my drawings a splotchy look. Is there any way to disable or change that??? Otherwise, amazing app, but it would be cool to use it for drawing as well..Version: 22.4
✓ I loved this app however I have a few complaints about the new changes that were made.When I first got this app I instantly fell in love with it. As a young artist, I had found it very difficult to find good apps to do art on until I got this one. I loved the fact that I could have a larger range of tools and color choices at my fingertips, something other art apps seemed to lack. My favorite tool was the duplicate layers tool, as it allowed me to create extra layers that were necessary to improving the overall quality of my work. I would normally have given such a perfect app 5 stars, however the fact that the duplicate layer tool has been deleted, lowers my satisfaction. ✓ Super relaxingLove the app, I got the paid version and I'm enjoying it a lot! It's very relaxing and works well with the apple pen. I'm surprised I'm drawing everyday because of it. ☺️ The paid version is a worthwhile investment. My slight annoyance is that in Zen mode there are two circles on the right for the layer's blending mode, which is not that useful in Zen mode. I always press on it for colour, because it resembles the two colour mix, which I like a lot and use it way more often. Also, outside of Zen mode, my palm sometimes messes up with the size slider on the right, but I'll try the auto hide option. Can you look into fixing a small rotation annoyance, though? Say I am in portrait mode, exit a drawing, and go to the list of sketch books, it automatically rotates to landscape, which is annoying. But, the thing is it is hard to colour things at a specific colour you want because in other apps there’s an option where you can drag the mouse or finger over that area and it picks up that colour getting that exact colour. ✓ A really great app, with a a few UI annoyancesThis app is really great and feels like a spiritual successor to FiftyThrees long neglected Paper app. The main thing that bugs me though, is any time my hand touches the screen, it pops up an annoying overlay saying "pencil connected and finger not set to draw". The problem with this, aside from being distracting, is that you can’t draw through it. It shouldn’t do this pop up more than once per drawing session. Currently it comes up every time skin touches the screen, even if you’re already resting your hand on the screen! Please take more care in the user interface. ✓ So Far So Fun!I haven't used many drawing apps, so I don't have much to compare to - but so far I'm diggin this app a lot! It hasn't crashed on me as I've read on other reviews, and it works with a variety of social media apps. There are several basic drawing tools to use and you can adjust the tip/brush size easily. You can also adjust the opacity of color, as well as use pre-designed patterns as fill. Text is also a feature I've used, limited font choices but varied enough for a digital sketch pad. My favorite feature is the ability to import images and then work on layered surfaces, with the option of deleting the base image. Complaints: some of the tools have glitches and you just need to work around them. ✓ Pro version problemHello, I recently brought the Pro Version and have had one particular problem since I brought it. I like to record my drawings and for some reason my screen randomly goes black, I then exit the drawing and it’s fine, but once I go back into the drawing? It goes back to being a black screen. No I was not using the filler tool when the screen went black. This has happened to a specific drawing, I’ve duplicated it twice and it has been the same. When this happens, I save my drawing and add it to a new slot, then I trace over it. It wastes my time and is quite annoying. The tools are realistic, you can adjust lots of things to your liking, and it saves your work every three minutes! Even without the Pro feature, it is still great. ✓ Very versatile and easy to useI think this app is amazing! Obviously there are certain limits, but all the things you can do are very impressive. This was my first digital drawing app and I think it did such a good job introducing me to the world of digital art. Not only was it very easy to figure out what everything did (both by experimenting and reading their guide), it also had all/most of the things I would consider important like layers, resizing, cutting and pasting, importing pictures, exporting pictures, etc. I also use it for like simple photoshop because you can erase around certain things in pictures and move them around to your liking. Also, I would not recommend doing this, but I don’t have a stylus and draw with my finger and can still make good artwork. ✓ The “glitch”Let me start by saying that this app as a social media app is wonderful. It lets you post your art on a community page for people to see, and there’s no commenting so my mom actually lets me use it ;) Sadly, the community page has been affected by something the artists on there (including myself: she’s so coconut,) call “the glitch”. As well as having the reputation of some sort of demonic shadow, (lol), the glitch deletes all of an artist’s posts and likes. It doesn’t happen to everyone, but we haven’t figured out what the criteria is. Anyway, it’s happened twice. The first time is as described, but the second time the likes and posts are reduced to “...”, essentially making it impossible to have more than one post at a time. So, if you’re going to buy this app and use the community, bear in mind that there are a few major flaws, at least right now. (Tayasui, if you’re reading this, PLEASE work on fixing the glitch, because the most recent update made it worse.) You have been warned. And when I saw this in the App Store I thought it was too good to be true, but it really is amazing. I can now work on developing my comics, and with the super helpful undo button and pinch and zoom, my art turns out good. Well, for my standards at least. Firstly, I’d like you too add customize your materials. You could customize the size of the brush or pen, maybe give each pen a specific color to have so when you use it it shows up that color. Another thing is that you could have pallets. You could make as many as you want, and chose colors to be in them. With the pallet, you could make a specific drawing for that pallet, With only being allowed to use that pallet. Wet watercolor for everyone There was a little glitch or something that allowed everyone wet watercolor if you were fast enough. It was amazing. I made a lot of great pictures (in my opinion). It should really be added for everyone 2. The community is too toxic I know it’s hard to monitor, and I can just leave, but there are a lot of great artists sharing their work out there. Then, a bunch of dirty “artists” take work that isn’t there and trace it. It has caused a LOT of arguments and great people leaving or not posting as often 3. There should be official friends and contests There are a lot of users talking between posts. There should be another tab, or even another app where you can talk to your friends. You should be able to post more Some people can post only one time a day, while others can post four times in a row. For example, it would be much more practical for layers to have more settings, such as locking them, different types of layers, and changing the colors of certain layers. Things like these would make the app more useful for full-fledged drawings. Say you are a person who uploads comics on a daily basis. You would like the tablet you use to connect to your computer and draw simultaneously so it's easier for you to upload said comics. But with this app, I can't figure out how to connect the tablet and computer so they work at the same time. Perfect!!I never write reviews for anything but after using this app, I stopped watercoloring physically because I tend to make a mess and waiting for everything to dry is a pain sometimes. There is so much control when you are drawing. You can water color, paint, change the opacity, color, cut and paste, blend smudge , dry or wet to blend. The most important thing is, there is a multi layer system so you can control each layer you paint on. It is absolutely amazing. There is just one complaint I have. I don't like how the text option is very fixed. After you apply the text, you can't move it, make it bigger or anything. You have to delete and retype and remove it until it is perfect. ✓ Good but one problemThis app is amazing and it’s probably my favourite drawing app to use to do digital art! But there’s quite a big problem which I think is a part of the new update??? It won’t let me rotate the canvas and I went to the app settings at the top right of each of the folders, there was no option for “rotate canvas” so it couldn’t possibly be that. It wasn’t always like though but I can’t remember when last I have rotated the canvas on a drawing. It will not let me rotate or move the canvas at all! Being quite artistic I wanted a drawing app that I could use, I have being looking for a drawing app for a long time now and tryed out multiple drawing apps that I was unable to use So when down loading this app I was unsure what it would be like On opening the app I was pleasantly surprised that I could read all the menus with voice over and I could here when drawing/cutting/rubbing out. ✓ UhHi so I was wondering about the blending tool I have not upgraded to pro yet but the blending tool is kinda weird like I made a gacha edit for myself and I wanted to blend some shading together for a cleaner look but it like warped everything near where I tried to blend and it pulled bits and pieces of the art into the middle of everything so I gave up on that idea after fifteen million tries and instead made my OC glitching away as I like to call it but it's not the same cause her pose and facial expression do not go with the whole glitching away thing can you fix this please?? This problem is really bugging me out but it also sparked new ideas thank you devs!!!!!!! Edit: so I am working on a chibi piece and I had to color in all of the parts with my finger because I did not want to use the fill since it always leaves a sad white ring around the lines can you please fix this issue developers???? ✓ Absolutely delightfulI'm impressed by an iPad app like a solid 1% of the time. It takes a lot for me to actually download one and smile. There is just So. Much. Garbage out there these days that it's easy to get demoralised when you spend as much time trying new ones as I do. All of that's to say that this compliment does not come lightly. This is a fantastic app and I'm so glad I found it! The only reason I'm not giving it a 5th star is that I'd like to make a minor suggestion: the 'undo' button looks a bit too much like a 'back' button. I used the eraser for the first few deletions before figuring this out. A suggestion would be to have the redo button also there when you start the app but greyed out Or just use the words 'undo' and 'redo'. I'm leaning towards the latter because they take the guesswork out. I for one am sick of words, especially when they're concise enough to fit perfectly well on my screen, being replaced by icons (like 'undo' and 'redo'), that don't have a universally understood meaning (at least in the user's native language). This app is very very good - this is by no means a fatal flaw. ✓ Really great app, enjoyable to use and no subscriptionIt is rare and amazing when an app doesn’t do the subscription model, and it also does not collect any data! That alone is worth noting, I wish more developers took this route. The app is amazing and somewhat minimalistic, but deep enough that have all the tools do make a great drawing and you never feel limited. Palm rejection works great, one can use their finger to select tools and options without worrying about drawing inadvertently. This means you can use both hands at the same time which is very productive. But worse, you recently changed the interface so I cannot “x” away the opacity/size sliders, and now when I draw with Apple Pencil, no matter what, my hand CONSTANTLY changes those sliders making it miserable to try and sketch freely or in a “zen” mode. ✓ Honest reviewSo initially after downloading this app I really enjoyed using it, I love the vibrant colors, tools and even the sound when using a brush etc. and I really like it all the same, I even recommended it to my friends however, they’ve searched and it does not appear in play store, so that’s that... ✓ Absolutely splendid app but…I want to start off with saying this is an incredible app. It is so much fun and I love to use it because of how many features it has. However, some thing I find quite annoying is every single time my device is low on storage. Well, not every time but if it’s too low on storage, all of my drawings are completely wiped it just happened. And I’m super sad because I had a lot of sketches that I really liked. ✓ Amazing app!This is far the best painting tool app you can get! I have tried a variety of different paint apps but this is the best by far. There are lots of tools and different types of things you can do, the watercolor and crayons are really realistic. It is also a nice touch that you can share your creations with others in the app if you wish and that your creations save automatically to your phone as a picture as well as on app once you finish. It’s not the same as a computer based program; it’s so well tailored to creating quickly and with only your fingers on a small device. ✓ Amazing, but...I’ve been using this app for well over a year and love it so far (I have the full version which is well worth the money). However, I’ve noticed something which appears to be a result of the new update as it didn’t happen before that. If my pen tool is lower than about 1 on the ‘scale’ slider (which it is on default size) the fill tool doesn’t recognise my drawn lines and instead fills the whole screen. I use the pen tool much more than the others and dislike having to use thick outlines in my art just because the fill tolerance is unreasonably low. Prior to the update, the fill tool worked just fine on shapes drawn with thinner lines so I feel that this must be a new error. Please fix this if possible- I think either having a fill tolerance slider (other drawing apps have such a thing) or reverting the fill tool to how it was before would be the best solution..Version: 20.0
✓ Amazing app and help for other users.It’s a great drawing app and has few flaws! All the tools that you can use without pro is fine with me and I’m pretty sure that’s the same with most people. For all those people throwing a rant about it undo-ing when you zoom in, you can just turn it off in settings. Go to settings (in the top 3 buttons), then click preferences, then scroll down until you see “Swipe to undo.” Then just turn it off. There. Problem solved. Without pro it’s pretty much fine for simple artists but if you want to make something really detailed, you should probably get pro but I don’t really know cause I don’t have pro. Charming UI that just stays out of the way unless you need it – zen mode is nice idea; some lovely brushes, especially if you splash out on the pro mode – love the watercolour brush; overall a really pleasing environment for making whatever art you feel like making. It’s nigh on perfect but if I had to offer any ideas for improvements I’d say: 1) a better colour picker with quicker access to wider range of shades and hues 2) zooming in and out is a bit shonky on iPad mini 2 3) when the pen disconnects it would be nice to be able to reconnect without visiting the main menu 4) be able to save a copy so you don’t fret about losing work, and can fork work in different directions These would make the app even more amazing, but it’s pretty great as is. ✓ Fast & Easy on iPad.Very fast and easy to use. Just trying the free version. NO ADS - Brilliant, and it doesn’t hassle you for reviews. Excellent visual help instructions pop up - Take time to read them all quickly (w min) and you will be creatively drawing in no time. Quick and easy to share the drawing via Message, Email, etc. It did crash and lost the current drawing but there is an option (which I think is on by default) that saves your drawings every 3 min. So minus 1 star on the rating for the crash and the eraser tool not fully working on the background layer (which I’ve reported) but I will be buying the Pro version because it’s so nice to use and I can save my images to my iPad Photos library as I go if I draw anything I really want to keep. The app is mature at version 18 and the developer has many other up-to-date apps so I take that as a good indication that they will continue to be around in the future for bug fixes, iOS updates and support (hope so). This version is free, has no adds, and is extremely functional with the tools that are included without the need to buy the extras, so I highly recommend you give it a go..Version: 18.1

✓ Amazing but..Dear developer, I am in love with your app, there is no other way of putting it. But I feel there is room for slight improvement. First off I think the huge “Saved” and “Undo” notices in the middle of the screen are totally unnecessary, they should be small and discrete, in a corner. Next, I am sure there is a more practical way of making the options/menues disappear when you touch the pen to the display, when I want to where the side bar is it can be quite difficult. I think it would be better to have a slide gesture to bring up options and side bars, or just have a little icon which when tapped would expand the sidebar. These would all be easily changed and would make this app one of the best sellers of all time. This app is the Evernote of drawing. Amazing. I have, also, experienced a bug when adding an image into a project. When using certain tools, when I begin drawing, the image that I pre-added partially vanishes and flickers. I really hope that this bug is addressed, as well as some of the other potential “make or break” improvements. Please, make your already happy users muuuuuch happier. ✓ Standard typeface is missing; any new drawing would need a new, different typeface.The new update has contained a refreshed interface and has allowed tools such as the ruler to be available, making relatively simple tasks much easier and I have not faced any issues. However the seems to be a noticeable absence in the ‘Standard’ font which makes an appearance on all of my drawings. I hope this is fixed otherwise my life would become much more difficult and my drawings would not maintain the same level of consistency that was present before the update. It has been more than ten months since my drawings had for whatever reason, disappeared (I can forget about it, but alas..). Occasionally, my experience with the app has definitely been affected by glitches and bugs. I hope the developers will reduce the likelihood of bugs and glitches to occur, that would cause the app to crash, that could leave me in a state of panic and reinstalling the app, only for my drawings to disappear. An app that I have been using for two years should evolve and improve over time, learning from mistakes and improving the quality and usage experience of the app. Somtimes when using this app, I feel a little let down by the glitches and bugs that are still present. I finally upgraded to the Pro Version a few days ago, and it exponentially increased my love for this app. The free version itself offers a wide variety of tools, and you can certainly finesse them to get really good results, but the Pro is a game changer with the addition of better shading ability, tool shapes/sizes, more patterns, etc. I find a lot of other professional-use digital art programs to be daunting and confusing, especially to the average artist/young and aspiring one, but this app is so easy to figure out. ✓ Great drawing app until recentlyThis is a really good app for making art, it has many tools and still is easy to use. Unfortunately, it has recently become really annoying to use. The app lets you know that too many layers can make the app crash, but sometimes the app crashes even when I'm only using a few layers. Also they removed two features that were really helpful to me. The tool that lets you cut and move around something you draw used to also let you duplicate drawings easily. If you cut a drawing and then pressed undo, you could then put a duplicate of the drawing elsewhere. It may have originally been a bug, but it was really helpful to duplicate drawings without creating tons of layers. Another thing they removed is easy organization. When you created a folder, you used to be able to manually organize where drawings were placed in the folder, but now they made it so you could only organize the drawings by when they were created or when they were last modified. This is still an amazing app, but i wish they fixed the bugs and brought back the features i enjoyed..Version: 25.9

✓ Really great simple drawing app!This is a very great app! I really like all of the tools, the connecting/smoothing tool is very nice, and helps things look better if you have to fill in a hole in your watercolor. One thing I would recommend is remembering to zoom out, or swiping the tools panel to the left when drawing on the left side of the page, as my first drawing ended up not going all the way to the left because I didn't know there was more canvas behind the tools panel. This app is very easy to understand, simple yet quite clever. If you want to make really professional drawings, I would recommend procreate, but procreate is just so hard to understand, much too complicated if you ask me. ✓ Lovely app, but it has some bugsI love this app to death. I’ve been using it since I’ve tried to learn to draw and it’s been wonderful. Youve seen all the other reviews on how good it is, and I can’t really put it better, but here are some complaints I have. First, when I eyedrop a color then I switch to the eraser the tool is now the color the eraser had, even though I have “Each tool remembers it’s color” on. I don’t understand why the eraser even has a color, it should just have nothing. Second it’s super annoying for when I have my color pallet set but I have to re-select it each time. Secondly, when adding text when I switch to another tool it changes the texts color to whatever color that tool is. This happens a lot for me with the scissor tool. I would write the text, then go to the scissors to make the text bigger but then the text changes to whatever color the scissor has. Again, why does the scissor have a color? The scissor, eraser, blender and any other tool that isn’t used to draw with shouldn’t have a color, especially with these bugs. ✓ Best drawing app ever!Okay, so! I’ve gotten this app a few months ago, like 3 or something, and I JUST LOVE IT!!!! I have my own style, and it’s just really fun and easy to use as far as my experiences have gone. I’ve tried a bunch of other drawing apps, but this is by far the best so far. And the IAP makes it much better, too. I just have two issues. One is that whenever I want to upload to the community, (love that feature, by the way) it doesn’t. I wait 24 hours, and it’s not there. I’ve only gotten about seven artworks out when I’ve supposedly uploaded more. It’s super annoying. Also, whenever I use the fill tool on big spaces, it has a weird white ring that’s annoying to deal with. It’s not a big thing, just a minor nuisance, but I still wanted to point it out, as a few others have done. Thank you for reading, this app is great!.Version: 22.1
✓ The update ruined it 😤😤😤I love this game really I couldn’t ask for anything more in a art app you get to make art with a HUGE selection of tools to use in your drawings and you get to post it to an even BIGGER Community of artists and you can’t chat or personally get to know them so it’s completely safe there’s no limit (I think) to how much art you can make I’ve made about 258 (yes I counted) the only thing I maybe would change is the app gets REALLY glitchy and sometimes it even undid my art 😕but other than that that I LOVE THIS APP ITS AMAZING I TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!!!! ✓ It’s my favouriteIt’s. A really good and versatile. App but it has quite a few glitches like it doesn’t pick up that I’m drawing sometimes, and will leave dots when it partially picks up that I’m touching the screen, so it’ll be super patchy. I’d really like a couple of things to be added as well like, being able to select areas to use the gradient tool instead of it doing the whole page, and being able to flip certain things and not just the whole picture 👍 but other that that good job.Version: 20.17

✓ Alright some suggestions gr8 app tho*LARGE INHALE* So I would love if u could have a follow system on the Community so that you can never lose track of the artists u love. I would also like something like a post queue. So u post the drawings in one day and then it automatically posts when the time arrives. Maybe you could also make it that you can use the record drawing feature to show how you draw stuff and then u can post it on the community. One final suggestion, is to make a grid option on someone’s drawing page so you don’t have to swipe all the time you can just scroll and find a picture in their community page that you like. If u would add at least one of these things that would be AWESOME! Ok final words are this is a great app and I highly recommend it. There are some things that you will find out as u progress in this app such as how to stop the vivid tool colours from overlapping. This app has changed me a lot and I hope that if u are reading this and u want this app GET IT! It’s worth it and the pro version too. After a while it just becomes a normality of having all the good drawing tools..Version: 30.2
