✓ Complete false advertisement of a game.Game lulls you in with its thumbnails of the classic bullet ricochet physics puzzles, thought something was off when the download was almost 1GB but continued to download. Turns out it’s another generic town building in-app purchasing mobile game, with an ounce of the puzzle they advertise the game to actually be. ✓ MehPlayed three shooting objectives before I wanted to delete the app. The shooting part was great and I would have kept it because who wants to play with bubbles… it’s a lot like bubble magic but better graphics EXCEPT what is with all the talking?? ✓ Be prepared to be crushedBeware!! I really liked this game at first and quickly found if I didn’t want to spend hundred (or thousands?) of real dollars then I stood no chance of advancing! They allow those players who magically are fully leveled up to destroy any and all other players and essentially prevent them from being able to play. The artwork is good, and there are many aspects to this game and enough to keep my attention for more than the first day. I would love to keep playing but I don’t want to spend as much as the bullies or the ones the devs are aiding. After a while you join an alliance and everyone is helpful to try to get everyone to upgrade and advance until the game devs ban players for “abnormal activity” such as sharing resources with alliance members. They are just wiped clean from the map and invited to start a new game after investing more than a months time! The game seems good until you realize it’s completely rigged and the ones with the big $$ get to bully, name call, and drive the every day players to delete the game..Version: 1.1.10

✓ DeceivingLike so many games advertised on social media, the ad is highly deceiving. The game you see is but a small, momentary thing you get to do. The real game is one of those ‘build your city, get hooked, progress slows as the game lures you into spending money’ garbage games you’ve played so many times before. No originality. I had copied an Amazon link prior to opening the game and it tried to steal what I had in the clipboard. ✓ Games to saltyIt’s a very good game loads of things to do, like side quests and that but the big problem I have is with the game is that you get attacked way to much you build up your supply’s after taking ages to do so then someone attacks you. You lose all your troops which in turn takes days to get back by the time you have them back and you are to full power someone els attacks you and you have to start again it’s a never ending cycle. The game needs some kind of cap to being attacked or a cap to how much loot they can take because I have given up on the game for this reason until this is fixed I cba to just spend all my time regenerating troops and just constantly loosing all my materials..Version: 2.2.0

There have been at least two major updates in the short time I have been playing and neither one has been available for Apple. This causes Apple users to miss out on events and new features in the game. Many have reached out to customer service, with no success. Well, maybe two having to spend as much money as people do to play the game to upgrade and keep up with the alliances is a little asinine. ✓ Encourages intercity bullying, not puzzlesGot to 30M power level and tier 15. I like the puzzles but hate the cycle of city building then pillaging rat race. Quitting and deleting the game due to the toxic strategy of the intercity conflicts. Got repeatedly targeted attacks from super powerful opponents (power 90M plus) that can walk all over me, but I can’t scratch. My supplies were repeatedly depleted, hence my troops starved and it cripples any city developments and prevents any potential retaliation. ✓ This is not the game you think it isDo not be fooled. This is not a game to test your logical, geometric shooting skills. What you see in the screenshots is only a side game activity. The main game is to collect resources, create an army and battle. It starts as a story with activities and tasks, and is quite addictive. Ultimately the story fades, tasks cannot be accomplished without joining alliances and attacking to gain power points. Not a lot different to Rise of Empires or similar. I went along with it for a while to see how the story progresses and to do the sharp shooter thing i was interested in, but then was zero’d by some knob attacking from outside. This game is ridiculously easy to understand… if you have prior knowledge of the era, and my knowledge only helped me understand what a tavern was. ✓ Unreasonable amount of adsI’m all for developers putting ads in their apps - you spent time and money to deliver a product for people to use and you should absolutely be compensated. Upon first opening the app, I was met with about a 30 second long, full screen, non skippable ad. If that’s the first impression you want to give a user, that’s ridiculous. I didn’t even get to a point where I played the game because if that’s the first view of the app I get, I can’t even imagine how bad it is halfway through playing. Super annoying..Version: 1.0.0

✓ Too many attacksIt’s frustrating that there’s no limit to how many times an enemy can attack your base. People come along along and they attack, 20, 30, even sometimes over 40 times in a row. So you come back and find all your had work of resource gathering or, worse, times you’ve paid for stuff, to find it all gone and your camp decimated with 1000’s of troops needing healing. I understand the point of the game, and that there are things in place to prevent attacks - but they run out! So attacks on one person by an individual should be limited to maybe five times in a row or it’s just a waste of money and boring for the person constantly being attacked..Version: 1.13.100

It takes days for any upgrades to building to complete and weeks to gather enough resorts to upgrade. That’s without the fact someone else can come invade you kill all or forces and steal all your stuff. Then it takes ages to gather enough resources to heal your forces. It end up of just being a vicious cycle of trying to save up enough to heal troops, only to have them wiped out again. To the point you can’t even think about professing with the game, and it’s no longer fun. If you’re not going to pump money into this game you’ll be at a great disadvantage to those that do. With all the online games, a lot of them have people that are playing for free while others have to pay. Stormshot Isle of Adventure by FunPlus International A.G. is such a game. I reported people that had built their kingdom in no time that would have cost thousands of dollars to buy the resources. Their response was unless I have proof and can show it, then they would not investigate. All they have to do is look at the game history of the people ans see that they deposited thousands of credits all at one time. The game only allows certain small amounts of credits at a time from 100 to 20,000 each as separate transactions. All they have to look was at addition of credits that did not fit this. I told them and their response was we don't care. So, be aware in the simulation games if you pay for something, there are people that the company helps to build them up so they can destroy your resources. I was really disappointed because it is FIVE seconds of play and THIRTY seconds of reading a story, building and up-grading buildings, and traveling to new locations. The game is about building a city just like the farm building or island building games. Most of the time is spent building something in a city and NOT playing the shooting puzzles. The graphics are bright and clear. The story is a typical game style story. I just like spending my free time figuring out puzzles, not building cities and reading dumb stories. However this game caught my attention from TikTok from what I thought was just a point and shoot offline game turned out to be an online pve game. Now the core game itself isn’t bad however this game falls into the same hole that every pay to win game does. Which hole is that? Well if you have enough money or a good credit card you can easily become the top player in the kingdom with nobody to oppose you. Makes you wonder why the devs won’t put a cap on higher players to not allow them to attack 10-20 million below their power. It becomes ridiculous for many players when one player can wipe out a whole alliance only because they spend more money. I understand during kill events to remove a cap however during regular gameplay it becomes unfair & unfun thus removing player retention and leaving kingdoms empty..Version: 1.1.10

✓ Avoid at all costs.Tried to play but the game is broken and the devs refuse to fix it I contacted support after I ran into an issue where the enemy I’m supposed to defeat to progress in the storyline doesn’t spawn on my server. Literally when I use the search feature it says “This enemy cannot be found in this kingdom” and with these types of games the “kingdom” is the server so unless there is some feature that allows me to invade another server that hasn’t been implemented yet then it seems as if it is impossible to progress past a certain point in the main storyline. ✓ So close to being enjoyableI was really enjoying this game, I even enjoyed the challenge of figuring out the less than intuitive mechanics of managing my settlement, building forces, gathering resources, etc. however I quit this game because at any point you are just fodder for overpowered “pay to win” players and after weeks of building and forming alliances, you just get randomly wiped out. All your troops, resources etc..gone. You literally cannot protect yourself from players with higher ranks. The game then becomes monotonous rebuilding and waiting. ✓ Lots of Things to Pay For.With many chapters, little sub-games open. There really is something for everyone from dungeon crawls to troop building to puzzle solving, strategic war gaming to city building. The grind at higher levels is real. if you are inclined to buy real money advancements, it could be a real money pit. The graphics used to be exceptional at the start, but have deteriorated with every upgrade. Yes, I still want my moat back. Customer Service is nonexistent. The game does not allow kingdom changes, so if you end up in a dead or broken kingdom, too bad for you, and all the money you spent. ✓ Good at first, but then not...Was entertaining at first, but then after level 15 you get attacked by someone Triple your level and loose all your resources. So you spend time gathering them back, and heal troops and restore killed troops, only to have it happen again the next day, and the next, and sometimes multiple times in a day. Also you need others in your alliance to storm red camps with you (can’t do it yourself) and they have to join within 15 mins or so (chosen time limit) so you get stuck unable to progress properly if your joined a team outside of your time Timezone. Not worth continuing with it as it takes so long to recover to only get swamped by someone way above your troop power over and over. Not fun anymore....Version: 1.1.10

✓ My calm after the storm gameMy main game is sniper game so this is a good way for me to get back into a relaxed state, mostly mindless clicking with an occasional shoot the other guy which was what is advertised but since when do they ever tell the truth? Saying that it’s mostly self explanatory. The issue I have with it is trying in to upgrade the proper items in order to become a stronger player. Where are the explanations for making my Creation stronger? Some items I need and have no idea how to make them or where to find them. Then you are asked for a review and gameplay comes to a stand still unless you pay real money. Conversion ratios of real money to game money/features is terrible. When you reach stronghold level 15+ it takes millions of food, stone, crystal, and silver resources for any upgrade and days to achieve if you have them - and unless you pay for peace shields, you get attacked and troops/resources depleted. ✓ A Game of BulliesOnce again, this is yet another game that it’s virtually impossible to build your base and level up. The reason… too many high level players who spend a ton of money to reach the highest levels and then constantly attack and plunder the beginning low level players and steal all their resources. It’s very frustrating to be constantly robbed of everything while just trying to build up and compete. The developers could solve this problem just by simply making it impossible to attack any players who are 5 levels or more lower than you. Other games have this rule. Why can’t this game do the same? I have played the game for nearly two weeks now and so far I’ve been able to play the shooting part less than 10 minutes total. You have to complete massively complex FarmVille like challenges to build a stronghold and very occasionally, your reward for a level up is a few moments of the advertised shooting game. ✓ Not enough gameplay as advertisedSo right off the bat the initial game loading takes way too long…Wi-Fi or 5G it’s 60+ seconds loading. Then there’s nothing in the multiple ads I’ve seen about base building, which seems to be the bulk of the game to start out. I’ve played the game exactly three times and found when I logged in the third time that my level 1 base was attacked then arbitrarily moved, I don’t see anything about who attacked or whatever. Maybe it’s part of the initial storyline but it’s totally unclear. I’ve got a couple other games from this developer that are great but this one is pretty garbage..Version: 1.0.0
