✓ Pretty fun way to meet new people from all over the worldI originally got this game for the shooter part the advertise. I quickly discovered there are a lot more things going on in the game. However once you have built yourself up a bit and join an Alliance the game becomes pretty fun, you can have chats with people from all over the world and the game has built in translator features. If you like a game that is challenging and goal driven this is a good one. Yes you can spend money to get ahead more quickly, but if you put in the time and find the right alliance you can get where you need to be for free too. Overall a good game.Version: 3.9.100

✓ Good to pass timeIf you think this is one type of game you are wrong. It very big and has loads of side missions. The problem I have is it asked too much of my time. I wanted to do more of the shooting puzzles but in order to progress you got to do these boring side missions and milestones to progress. After doing it sometime I lost all motivation since buildings can take a day to build and for some reason that been asking to have access to my copy and past from my Mac and phone. ✓ Making improvementsMy kingdom is dying off and then a mod tells my r4 that kingdom merging won’t happen for 18-24 months. There is no kill event and in my kingdom people were quitting and kingdom was dying off so we created a top 10 nap so alliances were creating numerous farms to bring alive people from the kingdom. Which ended up being FarmVille in the end. Nobody was allowed to attack anyone and no rss from castles in the kingdom bc they were all dead and zeroed with no rss. During KVK you can only attack people in the crown or the dark forest so in other games you can usually go to the other kingdoms to loot the castles in the other kingdoms so that was lame you couldn’t even do that. Trying to purchase packages? Good luck. There would be glitches that would take your money but you would get no packages and they wouldn’t fix it. Just give you consolation which is no where near what you spent or bought. Everything in this game is buy, buy, buy. Other games have plenty of free rewards. I played this game for months and got fed up. I spent hundreds of dollars and was fed up with the gameplay and constant glitches. Merge after 18 months? Good luck devs. Terrible game if you are experienced game player. UPDATE: The devs are increasing their tasks for game rewards. Glitches are getting less. It’s a process….Version: 2.2.0
✓ Not that bad.Y’all need to chill, this game isn’t that bad and is far from paying a ton of money being the only option. This game is geared a lot towards spending but to me it makes it more fun. Cause while it’s slower to grow f2p it’s possible. Unlike other games I’ve played. You want to know what a true pay to win game is? Play Game of thrones conquest. It’s my main war strat game and in order to max out everything in that game it would cost you up in the 100k mark. ✓ Town builder gameLike all other games that lure you in with the promise of puzzles, this is as well a town building game. With the publisher would advertise all parts of the game, not just the fun one. That being said, the game is actually well drawn, and the animated cutscreens are gorgeous, with an interesting story, and if it were not for the town buiding aspect, I would like to know how the story ends. But it's a town builder, which means lots of waiting around... So it's a "delete" from me at chapter 5..Version: 1.0.10

✓ BummedI like this game but I think there should be a limit on how many times an opponent is allowed to attack you in a 24 hour span. I’ve never attacked other players but this one keeps attacking me until I have nothing left. All I want to do is build my city, help my alliance, and just work on the daily quests. That one player is making me want to quit playing the game if I keep having to just rebuild my army and repair my gate. If you play this game watch out for the Cultist Lost, he for some reason has it out for alliances, rather than joining one..Version: 3.0.100

Also, unless you’re in a top 15 alliance you will get the cr@p kicked out of you and shields for 24hrs are expensive. ✓ Game of Patience & StrategyNo player has to buy items to progress through the game. Spending cash only moves you along faster. If you choose to enjoy all aspects of the ever expanding areas, and are patient, you can grow slowly without spending money on in app purchases. However, if you are impatient, you will either to get frustrated and quit, or spend money to move up quicker. If you are in a good alliance, they will point you toward resources and strategy to get the most return on your efforts. Many players gravitate toward building their army quickly. This will slow you severely later. Invest your resources inside the game to develop resource increases. The more power you have, the more it takes to feed and upgrade those armies. ✓ My favorite stress relieverWhenever I’m bored or need a break from reality. I got to Storm shooter and thank the lord it’s not like dreamscapes ads or townships ads, those lied, this one was promising. I love how you have to work had and it’s easy at the same time. That makes it fun. And the character designs are amazing. This gave is either played my entire day, or whenever I don’t want to focus. But over all it’s a good game that I really love, if you’re reading this and you haven’t downloaded it yet. I say you should, I didn’t regret it. Maybe you might not either. Greg game! ✓ So far it’s okHave only been playing a very short time and was asked to review, normally I wouldn’t comment so early but there’s a promise of a gift, that said I actually like the game so far, there’s a lot of stuff to try and remember but that just makes it more fun, I think maybe though as you progress in the game there’ll be long wait periods to upgrade your buildings etc but you can get ‘speed up’ bonuses that will definitely help with the waiting times. ✓ First time playingIt started out good. Pointed and shot just like the adds then it turned into like some of the other games I’ve played that I eventually quit playing. But so far, I’m liking this one and will keep playing to see how it goes. One thing of possibly many that I don’t like is, I played till I finished the second chapter and had to quit to go to work. I logged in after work and it said my defenses were destroyed and I’m being teleported/moved somewhere else. I didn’t even get to the point of needing defenses and also didn’t know I needed them at all. Usually in games like this they give new players a 8-24 hour peace shield. I just wish games like this wouldn’t always have pvp involved or let us SELECT whether we want to play pvp or not..Version: 1.1.10
✓ This is a good game!I don’t understand why so often games that are actually good represent themselves with bad publicity. This strategy game has many tasks so you never feel stuck or bored, at this moment I’m dealing with send my army to war, build their strength, growing my town, set a gorilla free, gain trust from a mermaid, and so much more. ✓ Great gameI installed this game after seeing an ad for it. But this game is so much better than advertised. Once you learn the best strategies and join a supportive alliance, your estate grows and your power level increases beyond anything that you’d expect. And it’s uncapped growth as well, meaning that any player can reach any power level and create their own alliance, or help an alliance aim for the top spot in the rankings. Regular events and PVP tournaments dictate who controls the game as King and which alliance is the best. Highly recommended game..Version: 1.10.100

You basically have many challenges to build up your castle/estate and if you’re lucky, you join an alliance that helps you to grow. ✓ I’m enjoying it for freeIs it the best game? Probably not, but I’m having a lot of fun with it, and I haven’t spent a dime. I did join an alliance as soon as I was invited, and I was lucky to join a good alliance of good people. I also use all of my bonuses and stuff in my inventory, but judiciously. My guess is that the people complaining about paying for stuff haven’t really gotten to know the game very well. I’m having great time using only in-game currencies. The trick is to always be doing multiple things in the game. Construct stuff, train troops, join an alliance and join the rallies. Always join the rallies — it’s very low risk and high reward. There are some side games that are $$ only, but they’re not intrinsic to advancing in the game, and there’s already almost too much free stuff to do and keep track, of so I just ignore those. Also, the shooting puzzles are not the main part of the game, but they do recur throughout. They have improved a lot as I moved through the game. The early ones were way simple, but now they involve actual problem solving..Version: 3.5.100

The two issue’s I have is the cost of things like a shield! 2000 gold coins for 24hrs is to much, this means people can’t afford to shield which means they constantly get attacked and get tired of this and then end up leaving the game. Secondly the amount of time it takes to attack someone, porting right next to them still takes over a minute to attack and get back, this is far to long, if there’s good resources there your still at it for an hour or more. ✓ Kept my interest for almost a year now :)This game has many things to do. It is predominantly a building your camp type game, but many different building types, troop types, things to collect and use, things to improve your ability. If you get into a good, friendly, chatty + supportive alliance it makes it way more fun. For an adult (in their 50s) it has been enough to keep me interested - which many, many games dont - and it keeps it interesting, with shooting activities (as per marketing pics) and other events. Would thoroughly recommend. With regards to ‘spending’ gold, the gold you’ve earned through activities, I think Ive spent less than 1 GBP in all my time and am quite well advanced. Then as you’re starting to feel comfort you get raided, then all your mates get raided simultaneously. At this point you learn real quick that there’s a brutal side to gameplay and, it will be many weeks before you master the game’s subtleties. ✓ Long time playerGreat game I am a level 27 strong hold. But a couple of problems of the game is just about real money. I have spent around £50 because great game. The more money you put in the higher your strong hold becomes. But as a average player you can be wiped out over night by bigger stronghold plays which is bad as can take 7 plus days to recover it need a level protection where you can only attact any level above your own stronghold and 3/5 levels below as money seems to be the goal of the game but great game great graphics very enjoyable.Version: 3.3.0

NO ADVERTISEMENTS, which is great. Negatives - 1. Often poor game stability and the games crashes and when this occurs during important activities and can be very costly. They need to improve Game stability! 2. Very expensive in game packs, chests etc for purchase. If you want to get to the higher levels you are going to have to buy a lot of stuff with real $ money. Graphics are beautiful and I’m obsessed with the details of the characters looks. Even for a phone screen it’s quite well propositioned and not too stuffy. ✓ Too bad it’s not more shootingIt’s another civilization builder game… and that’s cool, if you enjoy that. I downloaded this because of the challenge of shooting angles to try to hit the pirate. People who said it is a time waster we’re correct, it still a pretty good game, if you like civilization builder games. In the end, they are pretty much all the same. ✓ I was surprisedI got the game after constantly seeing those annoying ads. I will admit I was like whatever at first but I ended really liking the game. I like the constant changes in challenges and seeing my kingdom grow. The bad side for me is that it takes a good minute to unlock areas and some things don’t seem to have a solution like releasing kong, unless I pay $99.
