Link to Windows for Positive User Reviews

IPhone 15 LinkI was excited to get the equivalent of iMessage on my windows computer and this is definitely a convenient app. Easy to set up and navigate, only issue I have is it misses quite a few messages so I usually need to reference my phone if it’s something important. Other than that, love it!.Version: 1.24021.1

Needs work, but it’s so handy! This app can be very useful, but also very frustrating. I love being able to get my messages and reply to them on my computer. Seeing the notifications is handy too. When I get calls things can go wonky. Sometimes I can’t answer through my phone when they are linked or the audio doesn’t go to my ear buds. So I end up turning off the Bluetooth on my PC during some calls. This is a hassle, but the other features make it worth it for me..Version: 1.23081.3

Phone LinkPhone Link for iOS in Windows makes it so much easier for receiving and sending messages. Thank You! Works perfectly..Version: 1.23081.3

Truly a Godsend - helps breakout from the Walled Gardens™️For years now I have been a multiple OS user. Developing web apps on both windows and Mac OS. I found myself using MacOS just because iMessage was on it and it was VERY convenient to be able to read and respond to messages without having to pick up my phone. I feel like the device used for being able to text and call should not be restricted to a specific company, so in PROTEST I avoided using MacOS and created a workflow to avoid using my phone. Would contact friends with Signal, and more open platforms. Now I can get back to using text. Microsoft has integrated this so well. I love that I can see my contacts and even play Audio on my phone with my desktop Great work Microsoft! Hopefully Apple will continue to open more doors and allow full iMessage functionality plus more integration!.Version: 1.23081.3

Love ItIt’s a great app however it seems to freeze and crash regularly. Texts work well however sometimes the response back to me does not show on the screen. Calls also work however sometimes the call drops out or switches speaker. I do find it very helpful and useful with only a few minor issues..Version: 1.23081.3

Great SoftwareI have used other applications similar to this, but the way it seamlessly connects your phone to your computer is unparalleled. While there are some features that I would like implemented, such as being able to send and receive texts from iMessage group chats and have the messages go to that group chat instead of messaging everyone individually, and being able to manage have phone call audio while using a Bluetooth headset connected to the computer..Version: 1.23081.3

Phone LinkExcellent app, so easy to use.Version: 1.24021.1

Works GoodIt works really well and all. But the only thing, I seem to be having a problem w/ is receiving my messages. Yes I can make a call, receive calls, send texted. But I can’t seem to get messages when people reply’s or text me back. Other than that it works really fine. But you all need to fix that 1 problem that I am seem to be having. In order for me to know that they texted me back. I gotta keep looking on my phone.Version: 1.23032.10

Not a bad app…I was looking for a solution after Microsoft retired another app offering a similar compatibility w iPhone. Phonelink is sufficient for me to write text messages from, which is great as an accessibility function, and stops me from looking at my phone more than I need to. Only downside is that you can’t view message threads, only messages sent immediately. Otherwise - super useful..Version: 1.24021.1

Needed a quick solution. As a personal preference, I'm not overly fond of downloading random applications to my iPhone, especially if I still need to vet or review the application. However, today, I needed a quick solution to the "it's on my PC DeskTop how do I send via iMessage" conundrum. I needed a quick solution (not a quick fix): Copy from a website on my PC desktop. Paste the information. Send the information via iMessage on my iPhone. Using the PhoneLink application, linking my phone to my PC, and then beginning to use it was less than five minutes. I'm enjoying the application (using it for 30 minutes), this new application on my phone, and this new experience. The PhoneLink application may have been around for a while, but I am enjoying it now. I don't review items with five stars. I notice some bugs and glitches, but for the most part, PhoneLink is exceptionally user-friendly and practical for people who live in the iPhone environment and want to quickly send information or share information from working on their PC desktops. Great work..Version: 1.24021.1

Phone Link thus farWorks OK, is there any way to attach files or photos?? Maybe I just did not see it!.Version: 1.24021.1

A great appThis is a very useful & handy app that makes using either device much easier.Version: 1.23081.3

Excellent appWorks well, aggregates all my notifications onto my PC..Version: 1.24021.1

So far so goodTo be able to text from my desktop and so far in the last few days this is done what I needed. There are a few improvements I’d like to see. 1) Allowing carriage return when composing a message. Right now if you hit enter, hoping to start a new line it actually sends the text instead. 2) All incoming text messages don’t show up on my computer. It’s a hit and miss when people reply to a text on whether or not their reply will appear on my computer. It will appear on my phone but not on the computer, which is annoying. I have not tried the function for making calls since it’s not something I really need. So far no connectivity issues between my phone and computer so far loving it but hoping to see more improvements in the future..Version: 1.23081.3

The app does not work for everyone yet.Microsoft is slowly rolling it out to use on windows 11 first then windows 10. Have the app ready so when you do get access you are ready to go. I am still waiting but software seems smooth with no bugs. I will update this review as I go.Version: 1.23031.2

Great potentialI could see the potential for this app despite what many users are experiencing at the moment. Just give it time, Microsoft has just updated the PC client app and now it says that iPhone support is “Coming Soon”. I can hardly wait. Keep up the good work 👍.Version: 1.23031.2

New phone linkSo far so good. Can I use it when abroad without any need to get a new SIM card..Version: 1.23081.3

IPhone sends texts but may not receiveThe process to connect my iPhone with PC was simple and I can easily send texts. I wasn’t receiving texts though. After troubleshooting, I found a solution. 1) Turn off Bluetooth on iPhone and computer and close the Phone Link app on computer. 2) On iPhone, go to Settings > Notifications > Messages > set “Show Previews” to “Always”. I had mine previously set to “Never”. 3) Turn Bluetooth back on for iPhone and computer and open the Phone Link app on computer. Now I was able to send and receive texts. Although the above helped for a time, later on I was no longer receiving texts again and had to remove my device from my PC and go through the connection process again. It’s great when it works!.Version: 1.23032.10

Finally someone thought about this futuresGreat work.Version: 1.23081.3

A LAYER OF CONVENIENCEWhen I first downloaded this app I wondered how well it would really work (because of similar apps in the past not working or freezing up) But I can honestly say that I have not had one issue with this app not working. Even after I wake my PC from Sleep mode, it's connected and working. I recommend this app because after some time of using it I found out how convenient it was to have a tool I can quickly use and then get back to my work or projects. I can easily (quickly) reply to my phone messages and talk on the phone through my PC too 👍🏻.Version: 1.24021.1

Limitations of the software are due to Apple, and not MicrosoftMicrosoft has given us the best functionality possible given the restrictions in place by Apple. I appreciate especially the options available to customize my use of the app. Specifically the ability to disable call functionality through the app. I don't want my pc taking control of those and would rather separately answer on my phone. Without the ability to turn that off I'd honestly not even use the app. Thanks for doing what you can here and delivering this product even though it can't be as perfect as we'd like thanks to lack of access on the ios side..Version: 1.23081.3

Great app easy to connectAlways wanted to be able connect my iPhone to windows and this is the app that gets the job done easily.Version: 1.23081.3

Seems to be working wellConnects to the phone properly and automatically. Sending messages properly. Will test the rest and update this review again.Version: 1.24021.1

Promising StartI’m using this app regularly with my iPhone and having the ability to text from my PC is game changing. I love it. I hope to see support for images, animated GIFs, video, and emojis in the future. This is the closest to actually having iMessage in Windows and it’s a huge help. I also like getting my phone notifications on my PC, which keeps me informed of meetings and other important alerts. The setup process could be a little more refined, but I eventually got things working. Please keep this going, Microsoft. It has boosted my overall productivity..Version: 1.23081.3

ReviewSometimes the phone doesn’t connect properly and it’s annoying how you can’t respond to group chats.Version: 1.24021.1

Great app but not the easiest of setupsI am glad I persisted with the setup as now my iPhone works seamlessly with my Dell Laptop..Version: 1.24021.1

Phone linkIt’s very convenient having my messages filter through my computer simultaneously. It helps me from getting distracted by my phone during my work flow. The only gripe I have, is that i think it should pull more messages when reconnecting. Maybe, if you recieve a new message, the app could pull the whole thread of messages from the last 24 hours or something. Just so I have access to the whole conversation. Other than that, the little bugs here and there really aren’t bad..Version: 1.23081.3

Phone linkAmazing app.Version: 1.23032.10

Not great, not terribleI appreciate that this exists as having some iMessage capability on PC is better than none at all, though it does come with its share of jank. I’m also surprised with the frequency and enjoyment of using this despite my initial skepticism when I first read about how the integration worked. The downsides are that texts sent directly from your phone won’t show up in the app, and it seems to regularly struggle with reconnecting after my PC wakes from sleep. Hoping these improve with time..Version: 1.23081.3

Game changing once it works! For those of you saying that this app doesn’t work and that it’s horrible, of course it doesn’t work since it’s still being rolled out through the Microsoft Insider Program. It might take a few months for it to roll out completely, so be patient! I’m genuinely excited for this to roll out completely and I’m still waiting for my access within the Insider Program. Since I’m more of a Windows user over Mac, I can’t wait to finally send/receive and make/take phone calls!.Version: 1.23031.2

Amazing thank youAmazing thank you.Version: 1.24021.1

I hope it stops asking me to leave a reviewI hope it stops asking me to leave a review.Version: 1.24021.1

I learned and happyAt first it was not clear but now the voice is clear on my computer took me a while to learn how to link it but yeah it’s working perfectly now I can make calls and I get all my emails and everything it’ll come in handy when my phone crashes, then at least I can make phone calls from my computer with all my contacts in there..Version: 1.23081.3

Excellent piece of softwareGreat for connecting your phone to your PC..Version: 1.24021.1

Very UsefulThe phone link is great and beneficial when you spend a lot of time working on the PC. However, my main issue is that you cannot transfer calls to PC from iPhone because they cannot hear you. Also, you cannot view the face time call on there either. It would be extremely beneficial if you could at least stream it from the phone and hearing can go both ways. Overall, it’s a great tool..Version: 1.23081.3

Good start - iPhone versionGood start but needs a lot of works. It’s in a very basic configuration and needs to be completed. Often it does not work. Has trouble connecting notification message to the chat texting session. Can’t show images. Can’t send images. On the notification side you can’t click and go to the original app location like on iPhone. They added a feature to go to website but it’s not the link you would get on the iPhone. So it is very basic and just barely works..Version: 1.23081.3

Finally! What a relief. Ability to send iPhone messages from windows computer a godsend..Version: 1.23081.3

It’s good, but I’d like enhanced functionalityIt does what it promises: connect to your phone, allow you to make and receive calls, see notifications. However, when you make a call, it activates your phone. I would prefer it if the computer program made calls directly using the Internet, instead of using the mobile network. I’m not sure what this implies or if this would have to be a completely new app to be developed (VoIP?); I just feel like this would add other benefits. Anyways, I use the app and benefit from its features..Version: 1.23081.3

Easy to useSuper easy to use once set up. Highly recommend it.Version: 1.23081.3

IPhone linkBrilliant use it all the time calls come through clearly easy to understand and send text messages.Version: 1.24021.1

Send and receive made easyPhone link was recommended to me by my brother. While playing games I no longer have to pay attention to my phone and I don’t have to worry that I am wrapped up in the game and missing a call or text. It’s also allows me to unclutter my desk and use a keyboard to send messages. Been using it for a few weeks now and still love it. Definitely a gotta have app.Version: 1.24021.1

Dream Come TrueI can’t believe I’m able to send and receive messages/calls from my Windows 11 laptop! I joined Windows Insider to access that one feature alone, and after patiently waiting, I finally received my invite to join the preview group. My only desire is that I wish you could access your entire message history from your PC, instead of just messages you sent and received from your PC. I’ll take what I can get, though. Regardless, Phone Link is finally software I no longer have to find a way to uninstall. It works wonderfully for iPhone users now, and I’m so grateful! Thank you, Microsoft!.Version: 1.23032.10

Essential toolPhone Link has solved a big communications gap when working on my ThinkPad that I didn’t have to deal with on my Mac..Version: 1.23081.3

SMS and iMessages do not come throughEverything else this service offers is working as expected, except for iMessage and normal SMS messages. I can send from the Windows app, but not receive responses or new messages..Version: 1.23081.3

Mobile to DesktopSo far it’s just perfect. Ideal for every businessman with fat fingers..Version: 1.24021.1

Phone linkBrilliantly easy to use and saves time by having everything in one place at the touch of a button.Version: 1.24012.4

A lot of potentialFinally I can text friends on iMessage thru my Windows laptop! There are some pretty major issues that need bug fixing, such as the error that happens when bluetooth mode is toggled on/off on phone or laptop… it basically needs to be reconnected from scratch instead of auto connecting again. But there is a lot of potential and I look forward to using this app in the future, especially as iPhones use USB-C!.Version: 1.23081.3

Excellent while at workHighly recommended! The link works well in these days where TEAMs calls are the norm. Seamless integration and there isn’t a need to even look at your phone!.Version: 1.23081.3

Amazing applicationI’m absolutely thrilled with this application! As an iPhone user, it’s been a game-changer, allowing me to seamlessly integrate messaging and calling functionalities with my Windows PC. This has significantly streamlined my daily tasks, making everything more efficient and connected. The convenience of managing communications directly from my computer, without the need to constantly switch between devices, has greatly enhanced my productivity and overall digital experience. This application has truly bridged the gap between my phone and PC, and I couldn’t be happier with how it has improved my workflow and connectivity. Looking ahead, it would be fantastic to see more functionalities added. Expanding its capabilities could offer even greater utility, catering to a broader set of needs and preferences. Advanced file sharing options, improved app mirroring capabilities, deeper integration with productivity and social apps, or enhanced security measures are just a few possibilities that could make this tool even more indispensable. The prospect of such advancements is exciting, as they promise to bring about greater connectivity and convenience, further enriching our digital ecosystem..Version: 1.24021.1

Works surprisingly wellGetting notifications, replying to texts, and accepting calls from Windows 11 all work almost flawlessly. I’ve honestly been surprised how well it works. Even replying to iMessage messages works seamlessly. Occasionally the connection will need to be manually refreshed if the phone is moved out of range and then brought back in range to the PC, but that’s honestly not that big of a deal. The one thing that would make this perfect is if there were a way to support picture messages, but that’s a limitation from Apple..Version: 1.23081.3

Works in CanadaThanks to Apple limitations MS did their best with this app. It works very well for standard messaging, notifications and calling. I would like to see history and so forth but because Apple is Apple I’m not surprised by these limitations. Microsoft did a great job given what they were given..Version: 1.23032.10

Phone LinkEnjoying.Version: 1.23081.3

Syncs okay with my iPhone XR and DellOkay sync will my Dell. Need to spend some time to see if it’s actually useful. Been wanting a way to sync without getting a Mac for a while now..Version: 1.23032.10

Phone linkI’m enjoying phone link so effective so helpful so handy thumbs up to you guys 👍👍.Version: 1.24021.1

Phone LinkProduct is useful when wanting to construct longer message. A little frustrating that only live messages are on PC. That is when Bluetooth paired. So audit trail not on PC.Version: 1.23081.3

Phone Link iOS-Win11Excellent!.Version: 1.23081.3

Very helpful tool, but doesn’t link perfectlyInitial set up was problematic, but once through that challenge it works great for messages and notifications. Calls has never connected. Annoyingly, the standard error screen states that it can’t connect to me phone (and to reset Phone Link), even though it is connected to my phone. Doesn’t stop it being a very helpful tool and it runs quietly in the background without disproportionately consuming resources or battery a s reconnects quickly whenever I restart my PC..Version: 1.24021.1

Finally…Finally able to message people from my pc without the hassle of picking up the phone.. Eventually it should show the message history??????.Version: 1.23081.3

Windows 11 Phone LinkI’ve been using phone link with windows 11 Pro for about four months. I have an iPhone the latest iPhone 14 pro. I think it is and it works very well. The only thing I would change is a better way of reconnecting when I walk out of the room with the phone and come back, but I found that if I come back and just turn the Bluetooth on and off on the phone the phone comes right up. I look forward to improvements with this product and hope to keep using it for years in the future. It’s greatly helped me thank you..Version: 1.23081.3

Not perfect, but worth it. Improving quickly!Never reviewed an app before, but this has compelled me to! Microsoft is trying their best to disrupt the artificially isolated Apple ecosystem. The reason text group chats are so difficult, for example, is soley because Apple SMS chooses it to be incompatible. I installed this a while ago and it was buggy, unresponsive, and only slightly useful. A month or two later and the performance/reliability has seemingly doubled. Definitely worth keeping an eye on!.Version: 1.23081.3

Amazing!I had no idea this existed and am really glad it does. I just wish it launches in the background upon startup on windows 11 rather than full screen..Version: 1.23081.3
