SubscriptionDisappointed that everything is subscription based now.Version: 1.3.0

We need a calendar!Absolutely love this app and what stands for, but we need a calendar tracking our past cycles and outlining our future cycles. This way we can keep track of the cycle and plan ahead and be aware of when each cycle will occur. Another thing is that the app is a little misinformed/has discrepancies in the nutrition section. For example, the app says to eat more root vegetables, and under that tip it has spaghetti squash, zucchini, and onion, as if they’re root vegetables (which none of the above are). If it’s recommending I eat root vegetables, why is it suggesting to eat these other veggies? It should say veggies like carrots and radishes instead for example..Version: 1.5.5

Love the idea, but workout videos glitch hardThe concept is wonderful, and I have not explored the food side (payment required) but wanted to see how the workouts are. Unfortunately the video sound cuts in and out and the buttons don’t work when they appear on the screen, only when they don’t appear. It’s a bummer because the ones I was able to do were great! The other area that’s concerning is that the only women pictured are white, thin, and with the ‘ideal’ body type. It could definitely be a lot more inclusive in the branding..Version: 1.5.4

Love/hate relationshipThis app is one of the better and more insightful cycle syncing apps. I love the detailed explanations of where I’m at in my cycle, what foods to prioritize, movements to focus on. I use it everyday when I’m journaling in the morning. However, I don’t like the insights update they did recently. They removed the simplicity of the information and made it a little more annoying and overwhelming to consume. Feels redundant. My other gripe with this app are the women EVERY SINGLE WOMAN is skinny and seemingly white. There’s absolutely no diversity of body type, ethnicity etc. it’s almost embarrassing to have open in front of other people. Feels very tone deaf..Version: 1.5.5

Bug? :/Super excited to use this, it looks really cool and I found it from your guest on Doing the Most pod (loved this ep) but it won’t let me “My period started”, I tried logging out and logging back in, redownloading, changing my calendar from lunar to calendar (it won’t save the change), to using wifi, not using wifi, waiting and coming back. Nothing has worked yet it just gives me a grey pop-up notif saying “Oops! Unable to update. Please re-login or try again later!” and the app refreshes itself. I’m mildly disappointed at this because I waited for my period to start to use the main feature and it doesn’t work for me :/ I’m looking forward to the bug being fixed, still have very high hopes for this app and I understand it’s new and these things are bound to happen. Hope all is well and I get the opportunity to update this review soon!.Version: 1.1.0

Not a fan of the updateMy app randomly logged me out and I had to re-sign up. When I did that and reset all my info, the home screen was changed. I really do not like the new update. I think the new images and design look tacky. Please change it back. Otherwise, I really like this app when it comes to the functions. Shame it looks kind of ugly now....Version: 1.6.0

Workouts need verbal cuesThe new workouts that don’t have any talking are useless. I can’t watch the screen while doing downward dogs to planks to know when it’s done and what we’re doing next….Version: 1.4.13

Great app!Would be an amazing app with a few adjustments! Love that it gives workouts and nutrition based on cycle. Would be better if it connected to health app, if you could track symptoms, and had more insights/workouts/nutrition based on reproductive issues, food sensitivities, symptoms etc..Version: 1.5.1

Somewhat promising but misses the markI have been using the app now for nearly 3 menstrual cycles and while I do like the interface and tips, it really is not conducive to tracking your period - which seems ridiculous to use another app in addition so I’ll be deleting this one. I’m an ER nurse and we ask all age appropriate women the first day of their last period. This app does not track your past dates, the most information you get is what day you are on so then you have to do the math to figure out the date. I have so many questions to ask in triage with a line out the door I don’t have time for people to pull out and all and then still have to do math. This app should tell you the dates of your previous periods so it can actually learn more about your cycle. They say they use cutting edge technology but I’m very confused why it’s so complicated just to track actual dates..Version: 1.4.14

LOVED IT until they added the premium versionI loved everything about this app. I felt so empowered by the education it shared and just started feeling like I was seeing a difference in my life… but when they released the premium paid version a few days ago, it took away from the free version by limiting workout options unless you had the paid version. I had a lot of respect for the creators of this app and thought it was awesome that they created this platform for women, but now I feel like it’s a money-grab. Bummed to see it get like this, will likely be finding a new app :(.Version: 1.3.0

I was really excited about this appBut you have to pay a whopping $90 to get full access to all the food info. Other apps that are similar have costs at around $29/month, which is reasonable. Free version has workouts, but the sound cuts in and out every few seconds, so you can’t use it. Not enough to entice me for a $90 purchase. One good thing is the quotes and insights on the free version, it’s some inspiring things that help you during your cycle phase..Version: 1.5.5

Great concept, super cringey executionThis app has a great concept that is highly needed and useful, but I can barely use it without cringing constantly because the app design is so, so bad. Is your very specific aesthetic 90s-thin white women in the jungle? I hope so! Because that’s all you’re getting. Just lots, and lots, of super thin, half naked white women in jungle settings. There’s one frolicking in the bushes. There’s another under a waterfall. They’ll throw a couple beach settings in for good measure, don’t worry. Oh, but yeah, still no diversity in body sizes or skin colors. That would be going wayyyy too far for this developer. It’s just sooooo dated and cringey. I feel like I’m flipping through a magazine in the 90s that’s chomping at the bit to tell me what “love handles” are and how to use a donut to spice things up in bed. Outside of that is some good content about what to actually expect during your cycle, followed by try-hard copy under Insights that knows how to procure a good eye roll. It’s not straight up cringe like the app design, but it’s absolutely lacking in any real depth and substance. I would bet money it’s AI generated content produced en mass. So yeah, if you’re in the very narrow target audience for this app’s aesthetic, you’re golden! For everyone else who lives in the 21st Century and can’t stand the secondhand embarrassment you get when you see design choices like this, uh, good luck..Version: 1.5.2

I love it, but it’s starting to feel a little occultI loved this app when it started out but now I’m reconsidering it. It had great insights and advice and has been very helpful, but they keep introducing more astrological and creepy new age verbiage and imagery. I’m deeply uncomfortable with these things as they’re rooted in the occult, and I don’t want any of that entwined in advice for how I should care for my body. I don’t mess with that, and it doesn’t sit well with my spirit. Also, all the photographs are of women in skimpy swimsuits. It seems really sexualized, which seems odd for a women’s app..Version: 1.5.1

Great app BUTI really love this app! The insights & exercises & nutrition suggestions are all really great. And it doesn’t have any bugs or lag for me at all like some other apps I’ve used! And I want to give it 5 stars!! I really do! BUT 😵‍💫 it really does feel like this app was created by men? And I am totally one to understand an inspiration pic here or there. But the poses, the women in swimsuits, the amount of pictures. Everything is weirdly sexualized and again, every page of a swim suit model is really excessive. Especially an app made FOR women & our wellness. Sometimes I want to screenshot the insights page to share with family/friends/boyfriend but… um, the cleavage? It’s too much! I’ve recommended this app to a few but they all came back & said they can’t get past all the pics! There are SO many photos/backgrounds/etc to choose from. C’mon!! Make this uplifting & fun to look at & be on. Because honestly it’s just plain uncomfortable for me, I feel like I have to go on there, get my info & get out & don’t even use the exercise videos! 🫣.Version: 1.2.6

More diversity?I love the idea of this app. It could be incredible with the cycle tracking and hormone insights, but i hate how exclusive it feels. All the women are skinny, white women and posed in oddly sexual poses with bikinis on. I’ve noticed a few other reviews pointing out the same thing. For an app targeted towards women, I hate how it encourages me to compare my body to others. If it were more inclusive/ just other background pictures, I would love it! I just can’t get over all the (only) skinny, white women..Version: 1.3.1

Objectification of womenI honestly have not used this app— I downloaded it today. I am a yoga instructor and downloaded it because my 14 year old daughter recommended it to me. I have been perusing the app for five minutes and I’m just surprised at the non-stop photos of women in tiny bikinis sprawled out on the sand or rocks in sexual positions and facial expressions. What is the aim of this from the app’s perspective?? Is this supposed to be inspiring? This is totally objectifying women. Isn’t this supposed to be a safe place for women to come for guidance on how to feel their best selves through every phase of their cycle? How to make their nutrition and exercise work for them with their cycles? Yeeeeah. I’m just really confused by these images here, this is NOT the junk that my teenaged daughter (or I!) need to see in a space like this. Or ever..Version: 1.4.4

I love it, but I have a few suggestionsFirst of all, I love how it lets me be more intuitive about my cycle and the workouts I should be doing. However I think that there are some things that could elevate this app so much! 1. Include cycle tracking -so I have a pretty irregular cycle and since I can’t track it on the app, it is not always as accurate. Also having something that could track symptoms could help since everyone ovulates at different times. This could include mood, sex drive, or even temperature since that can tell when you are ovulating. 2. Include an area where you could insert dietary restrictions. - I really appreciate their inclusion of foods you can eat, but as someone who has many dietary restrictions such as no eggs, seafood, or nuts, the majority of this tool doesn’t work for me. With all that being said, the app has definite potential and I would change my rating to 5 stars if these features were added..Version: 1.2.1

Premium Membership Subpar BenefitsI was so excited about cycle syncing that I agreed to do the premium membership immediately. It’s a beneficial app unlimited grocery lists don’t really qualify as premium benefits to me. I’m interested to see if this expands over the year. That said, one issue that I noticed is the app doesn’t seem to be flexible with cycle tracking. My menstrual is always 4 days so when my period ended and I opened the app on day 5, I was surprised to see it still had me on menstrual days. I click the button to say “my period ended” and immediately it responded with my “period ended early would I like to jump ahead to the next phase.” I said yes and it put me on Day 6. It’s like I’m skipping an entire day of my cycle which isn’t a huge deal if you’re doing period tracking with a different app but can be if you’re hoping to be accurate. Other than that I’m enjoying the app and hope to see the premium benefits grow to things like private Facebook communities with rooms based on the cycle phases you’re in..Version: 1.5.5

Recipes don’t openNewest update hasn’t appeared to fix the issue with Recipes not loading during trial time… very difficult to commit to premium when this is really the only feature not available on the free version of the app! hope it can be fixed before my trial ends..Version: 1.14.8

Nice App but missing featuresThis app is a really cool idea and I’m sure it would help a lot of woman out there. However, there are a few gaps you can notice while using the app. For example, I selected that I started my cycle today however it shows that it’s Day 2 of of my cycle and I’m not able to change it. Also, the recipes has very less vegetarian options which is bit of a bummer. Overall, really nice app and love what the app is trying to do. However there are lots of things that needs to be improved. Hope this feedback helps. Thank you..Version: 1.5.6

Love, but Changes NeededFirst off, I love this app so far. I just started using in a week ago and have been enjoying the workout suggestions. Some improvements - 1. I just updated my app and it went from free to $90 per year. Pay upfront! They do not offer a monthly payment option which I think makes the app far less accessible and goes against their mission statement. 2. The food recommendations should have “today” and “next week” options. I grocery shop at the beginning of every week, i need information in advance. It isn’t helpful to know what I should eat that very day, because I don’t grocery shop every day. 3. I’d like the ability to tell the app when I start and end my period for at least the first few months of owning the app. Most people just starting out don’t know their exact start & end dates, let alone their average cycle time! 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s apparent that this app is still in its development stages. I’m not sure if I’m willing to pay $90 upfront for an app that isn’t fully developed..Version: 1.3.0

Inability to Explore InfoCurrently the app supports providing you with “what to expect today”, you can’t explore other phases of your cycle until you get to those days which makes planning horrendous. “Insights”, “workout” and “nutrition” apply just to the day you’re currently on. Had high hopes for this but if I can’t access the information up front it’s quite useless. Also, why doesn’t this connect to Apple health and import past period data for more accurate predictions?.Version: 1.2.6

More features please!I’d love to be able to input symptoms of my cycle and also input that I eat a vegan diet so the nutrition tab can be more personal to me. Otherwise love how this can help me stay in sync with my cycle.Version: 1.2.6

SubscriptionSucks that the content is no longer free anymore. It’s basically any period tracker now if you don’t upgrade to premium.Version: 1.3.0

Love the concept, message is a bit skewedI want to start by saying that the overall concept of this app is great. Syncing your workouts to your cycle and allowing yourself to rest when you need it is an amazing idea. However, the messages this app seems to be sending aren’t the best. There are workouts called “body positive ___” etc, which again, is great. However, the cover photo for every single workout is an extremely toned, skinny model. Very contradictory and not really the type of marketing that should still be pushed. Wish the app was more about moving your body because it helps you feel good mentally, rather than exercising to look a certain way. They should make the cover photos of the instructors, yoga mat equipment, etc. i otherwise would give this app 5 stars!! Just disappointing to see stuff like this still..Version: 1.4.11

Love this appThis app is amazing and has helped me so much the past year helping me recover from anorexia ed and lost period The only issue with my subscription is that there is a lot of glitches and I always get kicked out back into my Home Screen whenever I try to get into the app A bit disappointed about that.Version: 1.5.9
