Fitness for womenIt’s so good to have an app geared towards women. I can’t and shouldn’t exercise like a man, I have completely different hormonal cycles than them! Where a woman is in her menstrual cycle affects her mood and energy levels to an amazing degree. I feel like I’ve made more progress in the last month with postpartum physical therapy and general fitness goals than I have in a long time. I was using the website originally, so I am glad to have this information conveniently packed into an app. I’m excited to start barre, pilates, and running again with my newfound knowledge!.Version: 1.0.0

Needs more workoutsIt’s a great app, but major disappointment when it comes to the limited workouts. Whether you upgrade to subscription plan or not, the workouts recycle themselves with each phase of the cycle you are in. So every month you are doing the same workout video. Adding more videos to the line up is crucial for this app to remain among the best when it comes to cycle syncing.Version: 1.5.5

Holistic women’s health approachI just downloaded this app today and already love it. I have PCOS and irregular cycles. I’ve been studying about cycle syncing for a while and love how this app formats your schedule to exactly what’s going on in the body and mind. Love the free exercise suggestions. Great appI’ve used other period trackers but this one is so helpful as it links hormonal changes to how you should exercise and eat to support that phase in your cycle. I started tracking these changes a couple of years ago, but have managed it on my own. The app provides gentle reminders of what is best at each particular part of the month. Needs more interactivityThis is exactly the app I’ve been looking for. I’ve a long-time user of period tracking apps but have recently been focused more on balancing my hormones and looking at my cycle holistically. 28 is great, but I really wish there was a way to build a workout schedule or meal plan based on the phase you’re in, kind of like the Deliciously Ella app. As someone who likes to make weekly plans, it would be a great way to stay on track and plan ahead based on my cycle — and wake up with an overview of what I’m eating and what exercise I have planned, for optimum hormonal health..Version: 1.2.5

Recipes need attention to detail in ingredient listI love this app in helping me cycle sync so I was excited to try the meals and gave the free trial a shot. I made the turkey chili, bought what the recipe list said only to start cooking and see in the instructions it calls for crushed tomatoes and broth. I had to run back out to the store mid cooking. Very frustrating! I had to guess how much crushed tomato to buy since it didn’t say the amount. I winged it and in the end it did taste good but not having what I needed sucked. I’m nervous other recipes will leave stuff out and I’ll be stuck in that same scenario again so I ended up canceling the free trial that same day. I will say the recommended work outs have helped me get moving on days I did not feel like working out. I’ll stick with the free version until the meals portion has a little more attention to detail before paying for premium..Version: 1.5.5

ENDGAME for Tracking my CycleAn extension of Evie, how could I not download it. I LOVE IT. I’ve learned a little more about my cycle through the “phases” the app works through. The nutritional suggestions have been incorporated into my meals and my body has never been more thankful for a shift in routine! I lift weights for my workouts but this app has me cutting my workouts in half and finishing off with a strong equipment-less list of exercises that have me feeling AMAZING. I’ve never done yoga but I feel like this is the closest I’ll get without having to pay for a membership. I feel so much more balanced and flexible, I LOVE IT. And It’s all recommended based on where you’re at in your cycle. Ummm HELLO??? This is it. The one stop shop. They’re also continuing to improve their tracking algorithms. That’s something that they will continue to enhance but the main mission of this app, the intention of this company???? They are right at what is women need!!.Version: 1.2.1

…and then there was 28!I’d been looking for a practical way to sync my workout routine and eating habits with my cycle…and then there was 28! This app is the greatest resource I have at my fingertips for empowering me to support my body and no longer fight it. The best thing 28 does is focus on the beauty of each phase of the menstrual cycle and what we as women CAN do, not what we can’t do. Definitely recommend the app as an approachable but life-changing way to live a beautiful, cyclical life!.Version: 1.3.1

Good, could be better!I loved this app when the free version originally came out. I still love the app but once it upgraded me to the premium version for $80 it left some to be desired. First, you should have the ability to look ahead and recipes in upcoming cycle phases. Sometimes your cycle phase changes mid-week and you don’t have the ingredients on hand. They added the grocery list for the upcoming week, but I like to pick and choose the recipes so I don’t need the whole list, just the recipes so I can pull the ingredients I need. Second, $80 a year is a lot for how few workouts there are. I’ve been using it for a while now and am repeating the same few workouts each month. Finally, I LOVE the idea of the app, the aesthetic and the simplicity, but it needs more. Once again, for $80 I just feel like something is missing. More workouts, more recipes, more features, I’m not sure but I didn’t notice any differences when it upgraded my subscription and I feel that they should either lower the price or add more features to justify the price..Version: 1.4.6

Fantastic but….Just started using this app and really loving the features so far. Especially the nutrition tab - the main issue I have is that the nutrition suggestions change every day based on where you’re at in your cycle but having all of these items on hand is not realistic nor is having to go to the store everyday to acquire something not in your kitchen. A weekly overview of what foods are suggested and then broken down on a daily basis as to why they’re suggested would be much more helpful and nice addition to the app. Overall it’s great though and best period tracker app I’ve used so far!!!.Version: 1.2.5

Recommended, with a grain of saltI really like this app! It’s helpful to see what foods and workouts are actually helpful during different times in my cycle. I’ve really enjoyed all the workouts I’ve done so far, the instructors are clear and fun to follow along with. I’m thankful that all the workouts are available now even for free memberships! I’m not a premium member, so I can’t give any feedback on the recipes or grocery list features. My only criticism is the images used throughout the app. I could see them as being difficult to view for anyone who might struggle with comparison/body image/self esteem. That could be a distraction or a hindrance for some, and may take away from the overall benefits of being in sync with your cycle. I’ve recommended this app to many friends, but with a grain of salt for that reason..Version: 1.4.0

The last update locked all workouts except the one they gave you for that day, clearly that got negative feedback and now there is free access to them again! Love it so far, could use some updatesSo far so good with this app! It’s what I’ve been looking far and I am really enjoying the insights, workouts, and recipes. One thing I wish would be updated is the ability to move to another phase before the app software does. I am perimenopausal and sometimes my ovulation comes a little earlier some months than others. Which makes my luteal phase come earlier. I’m stuck in the ovulatory phase for food and workouts until it shifts. More recipes would be great too. Otherwise I love it!.Version: 1.4.14

Latest update is awesomeThey added a bunch of features to the "Insights" tab that I really appreciate flipping through in the morning. Some suggestions to the developer to raise my rating to a 5/5: 1. Include some kind of graph/visual of how our hormone levels change over the month. Another period app I use has this and I find it so helpful. 2. Make it easier to flip between the cards on the Insights tab. Love it!I love this app! I think there is heaps of room for improvement though. For example, my menstruation hasn’t begun yet, but the app has automatically moved me into the restore phase. Amazing program that’s makes senseI came across 28 on tiktok and loved the concept behind it. As a woman who has been on birth control for years and just stopped taking it over a year and a half ago, I have noticed significant changes in my physical and mental health. I want more!!!I came across 28 on tik tok and it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve been lifting weights for 5 years and cycle synching for 1. It is hard to stop myself from lifting as I have been doing it for so long and struggled finding exercises I enjoyed and could do at the gym to keep my routine up. This is great to keep me on track but I would LOVE to be able to have a calendar to show when my phases are expected and to be able to track my basal body temp in the app so I can have all of my info in one app instead of three. Finally a workout routine in tune with my bodyI discovered 28 on IG and loved the concept of exercise centered around my cycle. I went off birth control over 2 years ago and have been struggling to maintain consistency in my workout routine. I would tend to skip workouts during the days leading up to and during my cycle. It was discouraging to make progress and then have to stop for a week because I wasn’t able to complete an intense workout. 28 understands the phases of your cycle, gives insights to what is happening in your body and the exercises and nutrition your body will benefit from during that time. I think my biggest gain from this app is learning what to eat and the reassurance that everyday is different, but you don’t have to put everything on hold just because it’s your period or you’re feeling tired..Version: 1.0.0

Incredible one-of-a-kind app, BUTI love this app so much! I look at it every day and I love the unique approach to fitness and management this 28 offers. One of my favorite features are the insights you get on how you are feeling and how to be the best you on whatever point you are on your cycle. This app is very in tune to its user and feels very personal (not just a regular old tracker). There is one thing though. Since I got the app, I have noticed the day does not update by itself everyday and I have to manually go to settings and reselect what day I last started my period in order for it to update. Maybe this is the norm for the app and if so, I would recommend having it update automatically each day. If this is a error just for my app, I have no idea what’s gone wrong. Best Period Tracker/Cycle Syncing App OutThis app has made cycle syncing seamless. I seriously love it and have noticed a major difference in my mood and well-being since I began using this app and following its daily advice. GAME CHANGER FOR WOMENI can’t say enough about this app. As someone with terrible periods and unbalanced hormones, taking control of my health is a MUST. Having an app that’s personalized to where I am in my cycle with DAILY recommendations for food, workouts, and emotions is literally so helpful and amazing. I struggle to workout consistently and with severe anemia I find cardio and intense exercises impossible.
