✓ Confusing interfaceWhilst the show is great, and the resolution is way better than YouTube, navigating the app on an iPad is annoying, confusing and frustrating. Firstly, it never remembers where you left off. So you have to navigate and guess which episode you were at. Secondly, once you select the season, you only have a quarter of an inch in which to tap and scroll through the episodes at the very bottom of the screen. And if you’re not careful, undoubtedly, you will tap on something and need to reorient. Thirdly, if you are in the middle of watching an episode, there is no indication which episode you are currently watching..MobiDebVersion: 1.3.0

✓ The right side of my screen is cut offI figured this would be like the Angel app except with more Chosen features that would be exclusive to this app. When I tried watching it wouldn’t allow me to go full screen, like the button to go full screen was completely obscured because the right half of my screen was cut off (which the full screen button is on the right side). ✓ Love the content but the upgrade ruined the experienceI love the chosen it’s my comfort show and I am constantly rewatching it but the new upgrade ruined the app. It asked me to sign in again I gave my email and password to which it said my password was incorrect (I know it isn’t I had it written down) but I just went ahead to do a new one only for it to tell me my email doesn’t exist. I thought that was weird but figured maybe I was wrong and I didn’t sign up for the Chosen app but rather i confused it with my Angel studios account. I tried to create an account where it told me I already have an account under that email. It was very back and forth and frustrating. I know it’s simple enough to just watch as a guest but I’m hoping this doesn’t become a recurring issue every time the app is updated..Riniru13Version: 2.0.1

✓ Love the show, the app is glitchyThe show is wonderful which is why the glitch is so frustrating. Sometimes the visual part of the film stops playing and displays the “cover art” for the exposure while the audio continues. I was able to fix this by deleting and redownloading the app once, but the problem persisted the next day and was not corrected by redownloading. Super bummed because I really want to watch! ✓ Love the show, but not the new appI watched the live stream and preordered the new app. When it first downloaded on my iPad and phone, I could see the deep dives for season 2, which previously weren't available. I can’t do so anymore. The app changed and will only show in portrait mode and doesn't allow me to cast the show. I also have both Roku and Apple devices. The app isn’t anywhere on either one, just the old Angel app. I've written to help twice and no one has replied. I even sent text messages to no avail. The new “Come and See” app is nowhere near as good as Angel, and much of the info isn’t even included. That said, I absolutely love the show and give it 5 stars (more if I could). But the app is abysmal and even though I've paid for others to watch free, I can’t find a way to get early access to episodes as it states you can. ✓ Love the Show! The App is Bad!I am a HUGE fan of the show (5+ Stars)! Support it sooo very much with purchase of products and love of the show. It has literally changed my life. I do not say that lightly. Now for my reason for the one star. It is for the new app only. I have downloaded it on my Fire Stick and my IPhone 14. Can’t watch it. On the Fire Stick it is so glitchy. I hear Dallas repeat the same thing over and over again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Rebooted my TV and the Fire Stick. No change. On my phone while in the middle of the livestream it kicks out to the title page and can’t get back to the video without shutting down and going back in. And it does it again within seconds. Again, I uninstalled and reinstalled. No change. This is quite devastating for me as I want to watch the livestream and the after show. :(.Cheryl0419Version: 1.3.0

✓ V2.0.2 update missed the markSorry guys, this update has some issues. It’s slow to load, starts and restarts an episode a couple of times and once it gets going the video freezes every few seconds - the audio doesn’t but the video does. You also have to select closed captions for each episode. Still love the stories though. Thanks for bringing Him to “life”..Humble seniorVersion: 2.0.2

✓ New App UnusableThrough most of 2023, the app was on my iPhone and I was watching episodes a few times a week. The Chosen is amazing! That it is why I was broken hearted when The Chosen made a major app change in the fall. I was no longer able to watch anything. I have tried removing it from my phone and then downloading it again to my iPhone on multiple occasions over the last few months. It is the same effect every time. The touch screen does not respond. On occasion when something does open up it never plays for more than a minute before booting me out of the app entirely. I am not the most ‘tech’ knowledgeable person, and the former Chosen app was a dream to use. It was responsive, easy to use and reliable. I cannot find any number or email address to ask for assistance. I desperately want to have access to Season 4 later this winter but I fear The Chosen’s new app design will make that impossible for a simple person like myself..M. HenningVersion: 2.0.4

✓ Great content! Irritating bugsThis app is awesome well worth watching. May be better to watch through the website as : 1. this app doesn't support landscape mode properly and requires you to turn iPad turned one way in order to select your video before turning in back to play it. 2. Systemwide AirPlay doesn't work properly. 3 Selecting an AirPlay output in-app for audio causes a pause button to be displayed in the middle of the screen permanently. 4. ✓ My FAVORITE App, But…I’ve had this app on my iPhone and FireTv’s since it was released. I LOVE The Chosen and am so grateful to watch this beautifully developed show showcasing our Lord Jesus and His students. Lately the app has become glitchy. No matter which episode, the picture wants to zoom in and You have to back out of the episode and Go back in to get it to view the correct size. The controls for play, pause, fast forward or rewind won’t work on the FireStick or Fire Tv remote anymore. The circle control on the remote works but not without effort. You have to go up and down several times on the circle to get the app to notice and then you can pause, play, etc. They video also glitches but the sound is right. It’s distracting but I still mess with it so I can watch. It does this on every Fire Tv or stick we have so I know it’s not the remote. Also, my other media apps work correctly. ✓ Downloading content no longer a feature?!I love the content and the fact that The Chosen app exists. However, I was previously enjoying the fact that I could download episodes and watch offline when on travelling etc. New update has removed the possibility for that and the scrolling function is so annoying. ✓ Incredible Series, But InaccessibleI’ve tried this app many times, over the years, across multiple devices, and syncing with multiple TVs. I’ve used Chromecast, Amazon’s Fire Stick, the Apple TV… Either the video won’t play, or it plays and then stops randomly. It never picks up where I left off, either. With all my issues with this app, I have zero confidence in recommending the show because I can barely manage to watch any episode past season 1. Why can’t you all make all seasons as accessible as season 1??? I don’t want another app on my phone to begin with, but especially not one that won’t even work properly. ✓ PLEASE HELP & FIXSince downloading the new update the option to cast to my TV has completely disappeared! I can’t find that option anywhere. Therefore the app is not useful for anything other than watching on the phone. I found this out on my phone, then told my wife it might have been a glitch and that she should download the new update to her phone. Now the same thing has happened to her phone.
