✓ Very BoringI had to stop playing after 30 mins. Everything is autopilot and I felt my actions (pressing 1 button at a time) had no impact to the final result. ✓ Pay 2 WinYou have to wait days in order to play once your behind… UNLESS you spend +$50, even then your summons are limited. All these people giving hype to the game are wrong and most likely a P2W. It’s really demoralizing to see players with 800k-2mil power and the game hasn’t been out for a week. Trust me I get the, hard earned money = I do whatever I want. I work and I haven’t spent a dime on a game because that’s now what they’re for. It’s to have fun not be behind weeks all because someone spend 100s of 1000s of dollars on a game that won’t even last long. There is so little things to do and even the shop requires you to spend in order to even buy one of those items, you’ll have to grind for weeks in order to get them while someone just has to pay $50. That’s not even all that’s wrong with this game. I have yet to see a real review from a REAL GAME PLAYER, not one that pays in order to be good in the game. Games should be all about putting time and work in to allow the player to connect with it. Trust me I don’t mind a P2W game but this games just leaves you weeks behind everyone with its lack of care for rewarding you unless you spend first. ✓ Gets boring real quick… (might just be me though)I love Street Fighter and have been a fan of the franchise since I was a little kid (I’m 40 now… 🤣). Something about this game just doesn’t land all the way for me… I don’t know… it could just be me. It’s a great concept (going RPG) and the visuals are amazing. You have to ability to control your characters or have them attack automatically which is cool but man… something about the game just doesn’t work for me. I gave it a week or so but got bored pretty fast. Feels like you keep progressing to nothing in the long run and looks like you advance more if you pay to play but I’m not in that bracket… my four year old zaps my money… lol. ✓ Mixed EmotionsAs a long time player of Capcom SF games way back to the Mega Drive days when SF Duel appeared on the app store I didn’t think twice and downloaded it. The game has some amazing arcade feel & to see all the characters once more brings back some brilliant memories. You’ll soon realise this is a different concept to any SF game played before. Firstly you don’t control the characters, instead you build a team of SF characters to form the best team combo attack possible that automatically plays for you. Secondly your sort of chucked in the deep end to figure everything out yourself. With a lot of things going on and to do it all can be quite confusing. However I’ve gotten over that hurdle and played it now for 48 hours. I’m starting to actually enjoy it. The team combo building, the rewards from challenges, the online team battles, the characters & building a guild have all grown on me. The only major downside i see is once again if you got money it will get you far in this game. If you don’t spend money as per normal it will take you twice as long. Early days yet but the I can see alot of work has gone into this game & excited to see where the game heads to..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Super greedyThe game was fine as an idle gacha as it’s expected that you have the option to pay money to advance faster. But this MH Ken event really takes the greedy cake and I’ve played a lot of greedy games. It’s $100 just to get MH Ken with no reasonable way to get him as a f2p player. Even then, you’d have to pay hundreds more to get him to a point where he’s usable. There’s a concurrent event that is locked behind a paywall. Literally, you can only get the prizes if you pay money. It was also $100 to get the ridiculously OP M. Bison and there was a sneaky “50% discount” on another $100 character. Top players are already asking for refunds. If this is the direction CrunchyRoll is going, they’re going to lose their player base. Along with the game locking up and other annoying bugs, the game is going downhill fast. Devs, I hope you learn from this event and the feedback you’re given. People aren’t willing to pay as much as your greedy execs might think. ✓ Possibly terribly disappointed.Is there actual game play in this version similar to the original at some point that allows for you to be able to control the characters? If not then unfortunately I am highly disappointed the advertising would lead anyone from my generation when the game first came out to get excited immensely which I was, then I open the game in anticipation only to discover that I can’t control the character. ✓ It’s an AFK idle gameI watched some of the ads for the game so I was aware it wasn’t an actual fighting game, but I thought it was going to be at least like the King of Fighters mobile game not this. It’s good if you like idle games, the visuals are similar to KOF mobile but your input doesn’t really make a difference. As someone else said in a review there is no stamina but that doesn’t mean you can play as long as you want, if your weak you can’t do anything. The the pay wall starts when you get characters to 120, then you start the endless Gacha summoning to “ Breakthrough “ so you can level past that and play the rest of game, rinse and repeat..Version: 1.0.4

✓ 2 weeks of entertaining progress followed byI was baffled to understand why games like this continue to be produced when they are such obvious scams; then I found out whales pump hundreds and even thousands into them, so it make sense. It’s playable for a couple of weeks but then progress grinds right down and the game becomes stale. The side games can provide some entertainment but you are either matched to someone much lower rank than you or much higher. Even if the opponent has a slightly higher power, there’s little point playing because that slight amount will be enough to win so you know from the start it’s just a spectating match where you are destined to lose. There’s nothing really in this game to encourage someone to spend money. It would cost £100 for a gem pack that would only pull about 20 cards… the pricing looks like it was made up by a child ferengi. All in all, another promising title that will die in a couple of years because they just want whale fat and then they’ll shut down and start a new fishing expedition. Units were locked behind paywalls, with Dino saying that they won't make any changes reguarding monetization. Dino and Crunchyroll scammed us. ✓ Ridiculous pay to progress even for a gacha gameLike the title says, even for a gacha game, this game is beyond greedy. First event with the games first new character and you can’t even get him without spending 500 minimum. Lots of people were saving gems for this event only to find out the event has a special currency that can only be purchased with real money and cannot be collected during the games actual event. Forget making the new character playable because that will cost you more. You can’t even collect him without taking out the wallet. It’s one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. And I get that gacha games are greedy, but in others, no matter what, as long as you play, you can and will eventually collect all the characters. Might take you a long time, but it’s possible. ✓ Huge paywall for Monster Hunter event for KenI’ve spent a decent amount of money on this game because it’s actually entertaining and I love street fighter. I was excited for the monster hunter collab event with the release of a different variant of Ken however disappointed to notice you can’t use the premium currency (gems) to roll for him, as I saved a good amount of gems. You actually have to spend more money to MAYBE get him and then repeat for multiple more times to even rank him up. You can’t even collect enough of the “event tokens” to roll for him as you are limited on what you can do in a day. While the CN version of game you can just straight purchase him AND he’s listed as a “legendary” which you only need ONE copy of and you can merge with your highest level character in your roster for him to be the same rank. ✓ Could have been greatThis first event ,released at the time of this review, is a complete dumpster fire. I haven’t seen a game be this egregious with its monetization since Diablo Immoral. The game gives you 6 single pulls for the new collab unit, which you will need multiple copies of, less it be decoration on your bench. But for the low price of $100 you can guarantee 1 copy! Crunchyroll changed this event from the CN version which was far more rewarding and even gave everyone a free copy of the unit. Did I forget to mention if you saved up premium currency or bought packs for it, you can NOT use it in any way to get the collab character. Instead they put more paid packs in the game with new resources to buy in order to have more chances at the unit. This is gross negligence of the game and the street fight property. ✓ Greedy Global version as alwaysCompared to it’s CN servers global keeps proving to show its greedy/ scummy monetary tactics. From over powering Bison and making him pay to play accessible to nerfing the F2P “Mad Ryu” (right before the collaboration update, prioritizing his nerf rather than, oh idk, Bison’s) this game was always standing on a weak foundation. Come the collaboration even and you have to complete 60 multi summons to guarantee the event limited unit when CN servers got it within the first 10… it’s clear to see where this game is headed. If you can avoid this game, if you’ve spent request a refund and save that for a company more deserving of your hard earned money. GL to you in whatever game that may be but hopefully I saved to the hassle of dealing with this one. ✓ Too ExpensiveThe game is very cool, with lots of intricacies in team building in order to progress through. It is possible to play with a “free to play” mindset, but the pay wall is made apparent early and very often. Many of the non-story content involves competing with other players and it is there that the investment disparity slaps you in the face as rewards are tied to one’s individual placement. Personally, I donated in the thousands to compete in the last two-months the game has been released and it still isn’t enough of an investment to make an impact on the competitive aspect of the game. If you choose to ignore this part, you cut out more than two-thirds of the content available at any given point. Tossing a couple hundred dollars into the in game shop a week is not enough to impact the upper echelon of the games content and the return, even intrinsically, is greatly not worth the price tag. ✓ Misleading MonotonyThe ads, as usual, fool new players into thinking you get to control your fighters. You don’t. You fight in a 3x3 idle battle and get a fill-up bar to have your fighters use predetermined skills by tapping buttons that light up. There is no individual player interaction and every game mode involving fighters uses this same tiring battle setup. As with most server-style games, this one is heavily structured on pay-to-win. Certain fighters are locked behind paywalls, and you must draw each fighter over 15 times to fully level them up. Draw rates are miserable across the board, and the multitude of in-game modes are either slight backdrop variations of the exact same 3x3 battle or boring, simple puzzles. Some modes, like Inverse World, Path of Trials, and Battle Royale, are specifically geared against whatever form you’re trying to use, making for an unnecessarily frustrating and unrewarding experience. This game starts out fun but will quickly get monotonous and boring. The moment that spark of play leaves, you’ll realize you’re just dredging on out of habit. Once you realize how much the game is trying to get you to spend money, you start realizing that the time you’re wasting as a Free To Play (or money you’re wasting as a Pay To Win) isn’t worth the investment you’re making. Save yourselves the trouble, this one is never going to be improved and is nothing more than a shameless cash grab using a great franchise..Version: 1.0.11
✓ Good and bad.The good is you can play a good amount without having to spend to get good fighters and progress. With enough time played and doing all the objectives every day you can get the best fighters. Just not upgraded and it takes endless duplicates to get them strong but you do get to unlock everyone with time played. Lots to do if bored. But that’s about all for the good. The bad is it’s extremely repetitive. It uses your 4 best fighters and you fight objectives. Then it’s do this completely new event but do the exact same thing with 4 fighters that you don’t even really control. It the same exact looking fights over and over and over. O a new boss fight and the same repetitive fighting over. The game would be alot more fun 1v1. Up close views. Actually controlling the characters but I know this is a idle type game. It’s just extremely boring seeing the same exact moves and fights play out no matter who you fight. Every objective (like 30 a day) has the same exact effects and play out. Zzzz. Putting it in manual makes no difference as it’s not any more exciting. If you enjoy basically making a team. Leveling it endlessly to keep up with the endless progress of enemies then this is for you. It’s just a copy and paste game with higher damage numbers over time. The only thing is has in common with Street Fighter is the characters and some moves. I didn’t expect a card game to feel like Street Fighter, traditionally, but this certainly doesn’t feel like Street Fighter at all. It is a long and tedious journey of idle (automatic) gameplay wherein you get characters from slot machines to endlessly build your team power to take on the next challenge. I was curious how Capcom would support the $1 million prize for the first SF6 tournament, now I know. If this game takes off in popularity, the monetization methods in this game will easily earn them millions per month, even after the royalties paid for game development..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Standard idle gacha with a SF skinNot much to say: just another idle gacha. You pick a team of 3 fighters with a “tag” backup. The main strategy is in choosing the team and then the super move chain, but mostly it’s identical to every other gacha out there. Lots of pushes to convert players to $. Heavily montized, prices vary. Lots of limited packs will offer some decent value, but once you run out of that you’re looking at roughly $35-40 for a 10-pull, and a 10-pull only guarantees an A- or B-class. A-class is what eventually evolves into the SSS fighters, B-class is evolution fodder. UX could use some work. Menus and dialogs block further interaction and you can’t tap just anywhere to dismiss — you need to tap on the X. The X is always in the upper-right of the dialog, but the dimensions vary a lot so it can be annoying to dismiss stuff. Missing QoL stuff like “claim all” in a lot of places. Interface is sometimes a little slow to react, like when you want to level a fighter multiple times. If you like SF and idle gacha, go for it. There’s really nothing very new or unique or deep about this game though. I’m 4 days in and feel like I’m already becoming bored with it..Version: 1.0.4

The graphics are great for a mobile game, so far I am happy about it. The only one problem so far is this: why can I not select or change my region? Part of my gaming time is playing with my friends, unfortunately they are in different countries and I just found imposible to play with them since we cannot find each other, even when we are in "the same server", but I guess since the region is different we cannot play in the same guild and stuff, I really really don't like that part, I know there might be reasons and what not, but still, with other similar games you can totally change your region to do so. ✓ Not what I expected and more so P2PThis is not what I expected. It is more like a card game than a fighting game. After the early part of the game you have to spend money. Their first event is a cross over with Monster Hunter. You face Gore Magala the main monster from Monster Hunter 4. You get a minuscule chance to unlock a powerful character Gore Magala Ken. It’s almost impossible to unlock him without spending money. This isn’t a good sign. Their first new character and you pretty much have to pay to unlock him. A game I use to play started releasing new characters every month and made you purchase most of them just to be able to participate in certain game modes. I’ll pass. I don’t mind spending money however I won’t spend my hard earned dollars on a cash grab. Looks like I will delete the app because of this. You can’t even control the characters. The sound stops 5 mins after loading and you need to force close and start it up again to get it back, only for it to stop again soon after. This was fixed before but then came back with the latest update. I’ve also had crashes in battle. Seems to be more towards the end of the battle and I have to force close and start again. ✓ The devs have committed fraud. DO NOT install this game!They have been caught rigging their rates and the devs decide to stay silent on the matter. Newly released units are only obtainable from paying real money. The conduct of one of your unprofessional Community Managers on Discord, Dino, is also just outrageous. He is currently spreading false accusations to a content creator named Hayzink. The poor guy had to post a video with proof that Dino is a deceiving liar as a CM. He also bullies members on Discord servers and is currently on a power trip, banning anyone without warning who have a negative opinion on the game. Not only is this game nothing but a scam, but your employee’s conduct here on Discord is just as dirty as the game. ✓ Had high expectationsNot gonna lie. Sunk some money in this game. Had high expectations after hearing the gatcha system was a little better than other games. It isn’t. It’s just another idle game that has extremely low pull rate on A ranks in general (the units you want). Events are half decent though but it lulls you into thinking they are being generous but the generosity gives you maybe 1 A rank a week. You’ll need 4 of the same A ranks just to get you A units to S+. Don’t be fooled by the upgrade system. Unit upgrades go up to Sss so it’ll be a ton of the same units. First even unit also, only able to likely get 1 10 pull by the looks of it and the rest you have to buy. Pitty is pretty high too It gets a 3 because street fighter is my childhood. ✓ Very Fun but Greedy DevelopersEnjoyed the game in the first week, second week a nightmare, for a F2P player to enjoy the game I would need to spend on average around $1000 a week to compete. The upgrade system is very greedy to update a character I need to play for over a month just to get 5-10 levels. A complete joke. Why couldn’t the Global version be the same as the one in Asia..Version: 1.0.5

✓ Game is a scamThe first roll you do is not real rng. You are locked to getting only cammy and poison. The premium roll locks to specific characters. The actual game looks kind of laggy outside of the fighting animations. Everything in the menus look laggy/choppy. Can’t believe I waited since the 2019 announcement for this..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Chinese version is greatSadly this is a cash grab. The events do no allow farming for S characters not even one copy of a character(20 are needed to fully evolve). Devs are a bit more dishonest than most in their game mechanics and gacha system. First review has been deleted so there is that as well. 4 star for Chinese version and 2 star for this one simply due to developer’s underhanded methods and just concentrating on cash grabs. ✓ Started off promisingNot going to lie the game was super promising at the start and even spend $100 on the game to kick things off. However updates after updates it was becoming less and less f2p friendly. The introduction of these impossible to achieve limited time events and the introduction of “special summons” just ruins any motivation of most f2p or even p2p that is looking to spend a considerable amount. It feels like the focus on the last 3-4 updates has been heavily focus on “whales” where people heavily spend a ton of money into the game. Im level 130+ max out a lot of key characters thus far and considering just calling it quits. You just can’t keep up with the game, and this is not me trying to be competitive in the game. Just wanted to have a sense of completion and collection in the game. What a waste of good franchise… maybe they take a different view on the direction if more people raise concerns..Version: 1.0.10
