✓ This app actually has a shotWhen I first heard of kick from a popular streamer on a different platform, I instantly thought it was going to be a hit by the way they explained it. He went on about how everyone was going to switch to the platform but in order for me to make this rating a five star some things have to happen. One bug that I hate is I can’t get notifications from my favorite streamers such as Adin Ross because the favorite button doesn’t work. Another thing is the graphics are low which isn’t a major factor but would make me like the app a lot better. Other than that all that needs to be fixed is Lag, Framing issues with fitting the image into the screen, and making the app a little unique with a better intro design. I have high hopes for this app but I am a nobody so it really doesn’t matter what I think. YOU DO YOU KICK 🙌.Version: 1.0

✓ PHENOMENAL!I had some issues with the app logging me out every time I closed it out and it asked me to sign back in and agree to terms of service every single time but I couldn’t click on agree… and then the issue with 2FA. I reached out to the support team and within minutes (and I mean minutes) they had the issue resolved and fixed the issues with 2FA! ✓ Great app just not for iPadThis app is fantastic and I love to watch streams from people on it. However, I am only able to do so when I watch it on my phone. Whenever I launch the app on my iPad, the screen does not fill correctly and whenever I watch a stream, the screen just stays zoomed in and I can’t do anything about it. ✓ Good app, a few kinksThe app functions pretty well, but I do have one complaint about it. I recently just started streaming on the platform and when I would stream on twitch, I would pull up my life stream on that app, so I can monitor how the stream looks for my audience just to make sure if I need to just audio or video levels. I tried streaming on Kick the other day, but I could not pull up my livestream on the app. Not sure if others have had this problem or just something I thought you should look into..Version: 1.0.1

Unfortunately, whenever I wish to comment in chat, the IPhone 7 keyboard springs up and blocks most of the small typing window and I have to just hope I get the typing correct. I know y'all have a lot on your plate, but focus on fixing main issues first is my two cents. Kick is an excellent streaming app — way better than the others. ✓ The app is amazing but there’s one thing I dislike.When it comes to using this app as a viewer, there's this one really important thing that doesn't work right. You know those notifications you're supposed to get when the streamers you follow go live? Yeah, they're broken. Hopefully, they'll fix it in the next update or something. So, here's the deal: you go to your profile, click on "Notifications," and then there's this option called "Live: Receive a notification on your phone when a channel you follow goes live." Well, when you try to turn that feature on, it just doesn't work. The app keeps turning it off by itself. Now, I never know when my favorite streamer is live unless I take a wild guess. And guess what? Most of the time, I check and their stream is already over. ✓ Critical bugs. Please fixAs many have mentioned, there is a critical bug for mobile devices. When trying to watch saved live streams, it plays for a second then pauses. The video does not continue unless the play button is pressed repeatedly. Videos are practically unwatchable unless they are live. Secondly, on iPads and MacOS, you cannot minimize the videos in the app. The arrow pointed down in the top left corner does not work. So you’re forced to just close the app and start again if you want to click out. It’s time these bugs get fixed so the app is more enjoyable to use..Version: 2.0.8

✓ Not Quite ThereFirst of all, it's fantastic this platform is giving the power back to the streamers and there is plenty of great content on Kick however, the app needs a lot of work! Half of the time when you message it doesn't go into the chat so you have to type it out again and sometimes a third and a fourth time! Subscribing is also impossible unless you do it through a web browser. With all the money being invested in this platform, I would recommend spending time on the app to make sure it's glitch free or at least as close as because you're going to start losing a lot of people and your streamers will end up getting annoyed too!.Version: 1.0.6

✓ Landscape problemWhile browsing inside the app, it only works in portrait, it will not work in landscape, landscape only works when actually watching a stream…. And even then there is problems……The sides of the ipad screen are cut off/cropped each side when in landscape on ipad pro 11” when watching a stream, portrait is fine but when turn ipad to landscape the sides of the ipad screen on the live streams are cut off……..also while watching a stream in landscape it instantly goes full screen, we cant see chat, there needs to be an option while in landscape to go fullscreen or not.Version: 1.0.6

✓ Great Platform, Poor iPad Viewer ExperienceKick as a whole is a breath of fresh air and I’m excited to see it grow. The streamers and community are great and Kick seems genuinely invested in both! That being said, while the iPhone app is well designed and very user friendly, the same can’t be said for the iPad experience. Chat is occasionally bugged and not usable, watching a stream in portrait mode STILL zooms the stream making it a disaster to watch, and the app can only be browsed in portrait mode. I have no doubt these will eventually be addressed, but given how long these issues have been present - it’s a bit concerning. Again the platform, the iPhone app, and the website are all A+ and I’m a huge fan of Kick! But as a primary iPad user for my everyday, this app effectively keeps me from watching and engaging with the platform and will until some of these bugs are addressed.
