✓ Great WHEN it works. No support.As pointed out elsewhere, the app will randomly show that your call is being recorded, and then only afterward do you discover that it didn’t record. I emailed the developers to just ask if there was a way to retrieve the recording and was ignored. So - bottom line, if you really NEED to reliably record calls, I suggest going elsewhere. I suspect the developers know that they have a problem and didn’t want to admit that to me. Too bad, because otherwise it’s a good app..Version: 1.7
✓ New version not privateBeginning with version 2.7, the app plays ‘beginning recording’ to *both* parties when you merge calls. Even if you’re in a one-party state, the app notifies your caller that they’re being recorded, and there’s no way to turn it off. It’s apparently a requirement by the Apple Store they do this now, but they go out of their way to hide it. Not well-advertised - buyer beware before you throw ten dollars away on this app..Version: 1.7

✓ UnreliableSometimes it acts like it is recording, but only afterwards do you find out nothing was saved. 9 times out of 10 it works correctly, but you never know when it isn’t recording. It is a horrible feeling to realize that your last hour of recording didn’t work. Don’t buy this app. It is unreliable. The email for support doesn’t respond, and there is no web presence for the company. Apple should stop offering this product. It steals people’s money and doesn’t respond when it doesn’t deliver as promised..Version: 1.7
✓ Call Recorder ProDon't buy this. It doesn't work and there's nothing you can do about it. It asks that you enter your phone number but then a screen comes up that says it doesn't recognise the server certificate and that it might be someone pretending to be Component Studios (the developer) and after that there's nowhere to go. You just click 'ok' and are left with a useless app that you paid £5.99 (or thereabouts) for..Version: 1.2

✓ Good app but ..Good app I would recommended but it has one big limitation - if your outside of the access countries, then it will cost you money to initiate the call to those 4 countries then you can start recording. I would ask the development team to add as much countries as they can in the access list so we won't get charged by the operators. Paying almost £7 was a lot but its worth it if ur only in these 4 access countries..Version: 1.0

✓ Dicey at best...I'm remaining sceptical on this, I bought this for a specific reason and paid £6.99 for it. The ONE time I needed it, it didn't work! Something's won't happen twice. BEFORE you try to record a phone call, try it FIRST and make a call to it yourself BEFORE you use it! - the recorded message the "other person" can hear when they call you is probably a give away to them that something is wrong - you need to turn this off in the settings! Also, when entering your mobile number, don't enter the "0 / zero" number after the +44 (UK). I put my number in and it said it was wrong, did I want to try again or is it correct? My number was correct and it sent me a verification code by text. But it won't work if you put the "zero" number in! Bit late after the horse has bolted! Better instructions necessary and read the reviews first! This is the first review for this app (I think) - I'm sure it will probably work, but user instructions are pants and I think £6.99 is very steep - but unpaid it because I needed it, look at what other apps are available!!.Version: 1.1

✓ Doesn’t workAfter downloading the app, it allows you to make one call & works almost the same as several others like it; However, after you make one phone call a screen pops up asking you to rate the app. There’s only blank boxes in there so you don’t know what you’re actually hitting, it won’t let you anything further until you rate the app. Forcing your customers to rate the app before they can properly use it, then allowing hem too see how they rate it is deceptive and a poor design..Version: 1.5

✓ Expensive App to then have in-app purchasesFirst of all I’d like to preface this review by stating that I never would have purchased this software myself, but my employer reimbursed me for the cost. I’m in shock that this app cost $10 and even after that you still only get allocated a limited amount of “credits” which you can use to record calls. $10 I assumed would give lifetime access to the app but after 5 hours of calls it appears you have to buy more credits. Absurd and there are much cheaper recording softwares available. App works well, just make sure you check with your carrier and make sure that you are allowed to three way call on your network (I had to call my network provider and ask for three way calling to be enabled)..Version: 1.7
