✓ Battery HogThis app drains the battery in no time even when it's not in use, leaving my phone with zero battery power. I finally resorted to deleting the app after each run, then reinstalling it before the next. I'm searching for a better app..SCRunner58Version: 1.1

✓ A simple metronome with a major bugIt's a very basic app that does a simple but effective job of providing a runner with a rhythm to run to so you can stick to your desired cadence. BUT it has a major bug which is obvious in ios9. It eats your battery up even when it's not being used. ✓ Don't waste your moneyIt's an embarrassment they even call this an app. Any more basic and you would be counting yourself. Get a free one like proMetronome that can do much more. Can't change the tone style for example and only has 2 beats vs free ones with multiple tones and beats. ✓ The sound is obnoxiousI wish I hadn’t paid for this app. There are two sound settings, high or low beeps, both of which sound like a bomb counting down. They are super grating on the nerves. ✓ Not Running in BackgroundNote that in the description, it says Run Tempo runs in the background so that you can still here the tempo while using other apps to listen to music, podcasts, etc. THIS IS NOT TEUE ON APPLE WATCH. I like to leave my phone behind while I train, using my watch to measure my workout. I also like to listen to podcasts or music while I do so. I can’t do that and use Run Tempo. I can listen to the metronome or to music/podcasts, but not both. This is likely a device limitation and not the developers fault, but I feel this should be stated so more people, like me, purchase the app and discover it can’t be used as described/they intended..HubmacfanVersion: 2.0.2

✓ Serious limitations for runners!There is only one choice of high/low sound and it is an annoying “beep” instead of a percussive tone. There is a time limit of 120 minutes so if you’re wanting to use this to pace a longer run (marathon) you’re out of luck. Sorry I dropped $2 on this one. ✓ Drains batteryThis app constantly drained my battery so that my phone died several times on runs less than an hour in length. If you are not using any other app maybe it can work for you. I wanted it for my first marathon, and it barely lasted through a 10k. Very disappointed.
