✓ Solid app especially because it’s free!!It’s a great app to edit my audios, I can slow them down or speed em up, lower or pitch up the tone. It’s amazing!! I just wish we could have more ways to edit the audios and to have different instruments to put behind the tracks or to go with the tracks. As of rn I can’t figure out how to put the default scale piano we get into the recording. That’s the only things I suggest. Different instruments to use with the audios and a couple more different ways to edit the tracks..Version: 6.6.4

✓ Beats the "name brand" appI'm really impressed. It has a lot of bells and whistles, and doesn't limit the song length. I'm learning a ton of songs. Very easy to set the loop. Took a few tries to realise you drag the track, then set the A or B section of the loop. Easy peasy after that..Version: 6.0.1

✓ Great but…This app is awesome! But it’s missing something. I think that if you type the tempo into a info bar, you should program the sample to be available for tempo reset. Eg. “Rockstar” sample is loaded into sound stretch, you select “tempo” then type the tempo you wish, and it is available for editing the tempo. ✓ Finally, a good audio tool appBrilliant app. AB looping, marker, mono/stereo L/R settings, smooth backwards/fwds scrolling playback, fast/slow/backwards tempo control, pitch control spectrum piano roll display and background playing!! What sold me was that you import audio from any sources, not just iTunes(don’t know any would). So this app goes great with AudioShare. You can also import video(mp4 I think).Version: 6.4.0

✓ Probably the best app of this kindI tried a few apps similar to this. Anytune is a good app but the interface is not as immediate, it's more expensive and full of functionalities that I'll never use. The zero-speed scrolling sound quality is not as good as other apps. At the same price, with a similar interface and the same audio quality, Transcribe+ is a good app but the A-B loop and flags are not as as immediate to use. The pitch and speed controls look cool but in practice, they are not very user friendly. Overall, AudioStretch wins for the simple and effective user interface and sound quality. In some cases I wish there was a "pinch to zoom" instead of a fixed zoom factor but definitely not a big issue. It would also be nice if it were possible to load more tracks in the app instead of relying on Dropbox. Again, it's not a show stopper. I would strongly suggest to the developers to add a web page that explains all the details of the functioning and the options available. Including, for instance, the use of Dropbox off line files to manage the tracks. I recommend AudioStretch. It's not perfect but it is an excellent app..Version: 6.0.2

✓ User friendly, simply laid out and helpfulAfter downloading several similar apps, I ended up deleting them and going with AudioStretch. I urgently needed to slow down a tune and ended up wasting time figuring out knobs and tweaks of other apps before appreciating simplicity and functionality of this one. It will help you with tips if you need them, but mostly, you will just get one with your project. This app is a great friend for a musician. I put a batch of foreign language phrases I want to learn to say accurately, into this app, and then I can slow them down and start training myself to repeat them alongside or just after each phrase. ✓ It's goodThis app is good. I use it to listen to demos at various pitches and identify weak points in the mix. The app would be *great* if it could change pitch and speed in lock-step, like playing a vinyl record faster or slower, with no algorithmic artifacting. You can try to keep the pitch and speed values close to each other, but it still destroys the transients of percussive sounds, as pitch-shifting algorithms tend to do. I've been searching for an app that can do that for years, but AudioStretch is the closest I've found. Just saying… I'd upgrade & vehemently recommend it to everyone I know if it could do that. 😉.Version: 6.6.0
