Flashcard Hero for Positive User Reviews

Great appI use this app all the time and is a fabulous accompaniment for the Mac app which is slightly more capable. This is great on the move and really handy on my iPhone use it with students and for myself and it’s probably the best flashcard app in the App Store. I would thoroughly recommend it.Also great customer feedback from the turn the author who got back to me within hours of a small query.Version: 3.6

Levels of diffultyPlease introduce different levels of difficulty.Version: 3.0.5

Please make it easier to enter new cardsWould have voted this 5 stars except that entering cards is frustratingly slow. Unless I’m doing something wrong: click ‘edit’, click the new card icon, click ‘done’, click on the card, do the actual editing, click ‘back’. Would be nice to have a blank row of the currently active list at the top or bottom with - ‘+’ which immediately edits a new card. Update: Thanks for the response, dev. Adding a new card with another already open works well. Has all the options for testing the card. Love how easily it syncs with my Mac where I input data quickly but still have the functionality when I’m on the move. Good job..Version: 3.5.1

The best out thereI’ve relied on this app for numerous professional exams, interview prep and more for nearly a decade. It’s so quick and easy to make flashcards and learn them on the go. Totally worth it!.Version: 3.5.1

ExcellentBoth the iOS and the macOS versions of this app are excellent, and I’ve found them exceptionally useful in addition to being well crafted for each platform. Kudos!.Version: 2.8

I Can't Believe It's Not......Pricier!.....I have used only one other flashcard app, recently, and for just a couple of days......It had lots of nice bells and whistles (in the way of parameters), and they, coupled with all manners of technical jargon that only the developer, and Stephen Hawking, could understand, were why I found the learning curve to be rather steep, and long (I actually don't think I learned much at all)......I figured out about 90% of this app on my own in about 45 minutes, and the few questions I was left with were answered in plain speech, and in a timely fashion, by the app's developer......That other app was the same price as this one, but considering its negatives, and the lack thereof with this app, it should have been a little less and the price of this one could stand to be a little more..Version: 2.6

The bestAn absolute game changer! Revolutionised my life.Version: 3.0.5

Great Flashcard appThis app works great for me. It has exactly the capabilities I wanted - you can create stacks inside stacks w/ an algorithm that retests you over and over on the cards that pose the most difficulty. Sophisticated enough yet super user friendly..Version: 3.5.1

Best Revision App Ever!Have been using this app for 10 minutes now and I already love it. I have the Mac app so I can easily make all my cards in lesson or at college, just after my lessons and on the way home or out and about revise little bits using the iPhone app. The clean, crisp layout makes its really easy to make really professional looking cards. The iCloud sync is flawless and all my cards which were made on my Mac were sitting there on my iPhone in seconds. This app has revolutionised the way I revise..Version: 1.1

Great AppI love the app. Only suggestion would be to have greater than 1000 cards in one stack. I’m trying to randomize a pack of images and unfortunately had 1200 slides. The ipad app crashes intermittently which I’m guessing is due to the number of slides, which the program did warn me about ahead of time. (So no one to blame but myself). But still would be a welcome addition to have more than 1000 cards in a stack..Version: 3.3

Simple Yet BrilliantThis app has helped me considerably in making simple flash cards for to help me memorise information for medical studies. It’s so simple and easy to use, I just drag and drop images into each Flashcard if I need to as well. What’s great is any card you make on your laptop automatically syncs with your phone so you can also read through your cards and test yourself on the go!.Version: 3.4

Excellent App for studentsI have been using this app (primarily on the Mac) and added this to my iPhone. Greatly helps us students for those days when we need to study for tests. Great for on the go review. Recommended for college students..Version: 2.4.2

Best flash card system out thereI love this app, used many others but this was the best. It does the crucial thing: removes cards when I know them and keeps showing them to me when I’m fuzzy or don’t know. But there are also neat advanced features, like automatic decks of cards that it’s time for you to review because it’s been a while. Smooth interface, and Dropbox syncing to my computer is convenient. Thanks for an amazing tool.Version: 3.5.1

Best Flashcard AppTried a few of these apps and this one is really the best out there and great customer service by the developer Rico, thanks for making this!.Version: 3.5.1

The best of its kind.Simple and intuitive. I have tried other (more popular) apps in this category that didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Features such as being able to create your own multiple choice tests are a bonus. Developer is approachable, friendly and follows up on issues reported. I recommend this app for anybody looking to improve their productivity whilst studying..Version: 3.3

Packed Full of Great Portable FeaturesI am a medical coding student and memorization is a must. The study feature allows me to switch which side of the card is shown and to take sample multiple choice tests. Flashcard Hero makes it possible for me to track my progress and that helps me focus on areas where I’m weak. In fact, there are too many features to mention. What are you waiting for?.Version: 3.0.5

DecentI like the app but wish it was easier to navigate. I find myself having to force quit the app often just to get back to all my decks. I would also like the option of adding a title to the cover of decks, and perhaps more symbols..Version: 3.6

A very useful toolThis app allows me to sync my flash cards through my phone, iPad, and MacBook. I use this for college, work information, learning new language, etc. it’s worth the couple bucks.Version: 2.9.1

Absolutely awesomeThe app couldn't be simpler. Syncs perfect to their Mac app. Such a brilliant piece of software - I can't thank them enough!.Version: 2.2

Tried several - Flashcard Hero works best for meI’ve tried several other flashcard apps, but keep coming back to FC Hero. I prefer its much simpler but quite powerful interface - both for creating cards and studying them. FC Hero is also more graphically pleasing than the rest. This one’s the winner for me!.Version: 3.0.5

Great App for both Mac and iOSThis is a really useful app that genuinely helps learning information. The fact that text can be spoken to you in lots of different languages helps when learning content in other languages. In addition, the leitner system and multiple choice answers are really helpful and enrich the user experience. I would really recommend this app to students and will really help with exams..Version: 2.4.1

Easy Quick Vocab. Study AppTimed trial before purchasing, I liked a bought it. Set up flash cards quick and easy to study vocabulary words and share with colleagues. It will automatically create multiple choice questions from entered data and keep statistics for you to help focus where it’s needed. Recommended App. Side note. Apple keyboard did not work for writing app review, not sure if its the app or apple itself causing the issue..Version: 3.0.5

Very clean appThis app is extremely well designed. It feels like a native Apple-made app on both the iPhone and Mac. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to focus on their studies without gimmicky weird designs of other distractions. Flashcard Hero fits the bill perfectly — iCloud syncing from my Mac to iPhone and iPad is my favorite feature..Version: 2.8.7

This is great! It has helped me already, I look forward to all the learning in the future for my GCSE's, using this app! Thanks soo much! It's very good:).Version: 1.1

Great appThis is my French vocab god. My old teflon brain needs regular training and this is the best Flashcard app I have come across. I paid for the full version for my Mac and similarly on my iPhone. Well worth a few quid because they sync automatically so I can use / modify anywhere, anytime..Version: 3.5.1

Outstanding Flashcard ProgramThis app has been extremely helpful in learning Spanish vocabulary. You can show the questions or answers, plus have the words spoken by a native Spanish speaker. Plus, I can use the same decks of cards on all my Apple devices. The creator of the app gives quick answers to my questions. One of the best app on my computer..Version: 3.6

GreatI've been using this app for a while on my laptop and I'm thrilled to have it on my phone so I don't have to take my MacBook to school! The only thing Id suggest is to make the study sessions bigger for my 200+ card decks!.Version: 1.2

A great revision toolI’ve used this app a few times now to revise for professional exams. Really useful to be able to use 5 spare minutes on the train to read up on a subject you’re struggling to remember! If you have a lot to try and remember in a short space of time a great part of this app is the ability to highlight subjects you can remember and those you can’t. You can use your time wisely on the subjects you need to give the most attention. Would highly recommend..Version: 3.0.5

Love this app!I’ve used Flashcard Hero for years & it’s always been super handy. I can copy & paste diagrams or photos into each card. I can format each deck *and* each separate flashcard so everything is very organized. There are color choices and bullet options. The app syncs very well with iCloud so that I can create decks on my Mac and then study them on my iPhone. The Developer has always been quick to answer my questions and has listened to my suggestions..Version: 3.5.1

Best Flashcard AppBeen using this for years and years since high school. Never failed me once. Truly appreciate its seamless connection between Mac and iPhone..Version: 3.6

Very good appI've been using this for a very long time and I'm very happy with it. Once there was a bug after an IOS update and I contacted the developer who fixed it in a day. Excellent and trustworthy service..Version: 3.5.1

Does what it’s meant to do and moreBought this app a few months ago. It’s as user friendly as they come and within weeks I had decks of thousands of cards for my upcoming GCSE exams. I couldn’t be more pleased with the app and would totally recommend to anybody with exams ahead - totally worth the money. Sharing is really useful too so you can collaborate with friends on decks. I had a problem with iCloud at one point and staff was so friendly and gave me useful directions to sort it out quickly. Thanks Flashcard Hero! Properly saved my exams!.Version: 3.0.5

Really useful so far!Great for my A&P revision..Version: 1.3.1

Best Investment Of My LifeIt’s a must for every single student !!.Version: 3.3.3

Best learning tool on IOSI reviewed the mac version a little while back and feel that the developer should at least have another 5 star for the mobile app. The IOS and Mac app work seamlessly together through iCloud to create the ultimate revision tool that has saved me countless hours over the years. The developer clearly cares about this software as he keeps it updated regularly and he should be proud. Massive thanks..Version: 3.0.5

The Superior Flashcard AppThat’s right Quizlet, eat your heart out. As a graduate student studying physical therapy, I have tried every Flashcard application in an attempt to optimize my studying. Flashcard Hero has consistently come out on top. With their most recent update, I can use the “tab” and arrow keys on my keyboard when using my iPad. This has made making cards significantly faster. It should be noted, Quizlet does NOT support such features. I can also seamlessly import photos into my cards for no extra charge (again, I’m looking at you, Quizlet). This application is helping me pass my graduate classes and I could not be more pleased with the improvements they’ve made over the last year. Keep it up, Flashcard Hero!.Version: 3.3.2

Awesome transition from Duolingo TinyCardsI recently switched to Flashcard Hero after hearing from Duolingo that they are shutting down their TinyCards service. My main goal was to find a new flashcard app that had a nice user experience on both iOS and OS X and was able to speak the flashcards in multiple languages (including spanish). After downloading the app on my phone and laptop, I had a hard time importing my Duolingo cards because Duolingo didn't export the data in a logical format within their CSV export. I emailed FlashCard Hero to see if they could help me avoid manually rebuilding 900 flash cards. Rico emailed back quickly saying he was building a script for me so he could convert tinycard's export format into Flashcard Hero decks. A day or two later I got an email with my data, converted perfectly into Flashcard Hero decks that required no manual entry from me. Thank you Flashcard Hero for the awesome transition and apps!.Version: 3.4.1

Simple and effectiveWonderful tool. Keeps it simple allowing you to focus on getting the job done. Well done guys for creating this app!!.Version: 3.1.8

Use this frequentlyIt’s a nice app! I use it for memorization of important words. I find it very handy to have it sinc to my windows pc and iPhone.Version: 3.6

Excellent app!Extremely pleased with this app. Does exactly what it’s meant to, stable, full-featured. I can’t express how much this helped me around GCSEs..Version: 3.0.5

Great App: Super effective way to studyI bought the app for my phone and computer. I love how simple and effective they are. Making sets of cards is very easy, organizing or moving cards between sets is easy, and best of all everything syncs between my phone and computer. I do all the card setup and creation on the computer where it’s more convenient. It’s simple making quick edits on the phone if necessary. Then I can study on either platform and it keeps track of my progress. I feel like I’ve done much better with memorization since I started using this app. Definitely recommended, worth the money!.Version: 3.6

The best flash card and multiple choice appI’ve tried a lot of apps (and websites) and this is the best thing yet. Good: - Simple to use. - Great for tracking your progress. - Syncs like a champ with the Mac app through iCloud (I recommend writing all your cards on a Mac then studying on an iPhone) - Nice support for images. - Ability to share cards via the web is a great bonus. - Videos on the website are super-simple and useful. Bad: - It took me a while to work-out how making multiple choice tests worked / wasn’t the most user friendly. It makes sense / makes entering lots of choices easier, but had me stumped for a while. Would have been 5 stars if not for a few UX rough edges here and there. Summary: If you need a study aid, I’d recommend this over anything else on the store..Version: 2.2

FixedUsed to be really buggy and spend a whole day to sync once. Now the known problems seems to be all fixed, and it's finally what it's supposed to be..Version: 1.6

No more callousesI went back to school this fall to start working on a second degree. I’ve been using this app all semester and it has been great. Prior to using this app I made flash cards the old fashioned way. Like other reviewers, I use the Mac version to make the flash cards and then study with my phone. I’m studying geology, being able to drag and drop photos has been very useful. It would be nice to have a counter while in Memorize mode, so that I can see how many cards I have left to go through..Version: 2.6

Amazing tool for studying! This has helped so much with my pharmacology homework thanks to the multiple possible answers that I can create for that one specific question. The fact that the answers are mixed every time is also a tremendous help! I feel it could be improved by matching games and perhaps with suggested answers based on what you’ve already supplied (such as variations of drug dosages in my case - .25-0.5 mL in a 1% solution). If the app could automatically switch decimals around, tweak a number or two and change the units, that would save a lot of time making each flash card..Version: 3.3.2

Seek no further...I use this app daily for foreign language vocab study. There is no perfect app, but this is a solid one that continues to improve incrementally. The other positive reviews are spot on. (Note that most negative reviews are 4-5 years old, and the criticisms do not apply.) Rico, the developer is friendly and highly responsive to feedback and suggestions..Version: 3.2

Perfect for medical studentsTime saver and reading on the go. Hopefully we will get more new features soon..Version: 3.5.1

Works like a charmI had a test on mars with very specific questions and I used this app to memorize it. I was remembering huge numbers while other students could barely remember the color of mars..Version: 2.6

Worth every single penny!I have been using this app for over three years. It is absolutely fantastic! I used it previously as I was going through a Cemap exam and took a punt on it, as actual cards were too much hassle for the amount of info I was taking. It worked wonders as I typed the notes on my iPad Pro and used the cards on my iPhone when out and about. Passed all three exams, and can honestly say that Flashcard Hero was probably the main reason I passed. I have since starting using again as I now find myself getting more and more involved in Data analysis. I am now using it on a windows laptop but have been able to transfer from iCloud to Windows and it’s as fantastic and in tuition as it always was. I had a query with Rico and he came back incredibly quickly with a response that saved me numerous frustrating trying to resolve myself. Thank you Rico!.Version: 3.6

SuperbUse this app everyday. So easy to use and input data for learning.Version: 2.4.1

Make dark mode for flashcardsSo far I really like the app. Using it to study for EMT class. PLEASE make a dark mode for the actual flashcards themselves ( Black flashcard with white letters ). It’s so bright white when trying to study for prolonged period of time. Especially at night it strains my eyes..Version: 3.3.2

Revision made easyBrilliant..Version: 3.1.3

Was awesomeEdit: Great customer support. We sorted my problem and everything is working well again. Fast and courteous service. Thank you! This was a great app until recently. It won’t download any of my flash cards onto my phone. It says it’s not signed into iCloud, but I can view all of them from the app. But I click the download icon and it does nothing. I go to the settings and it says it’s not signed into iCloud, yet the slider bar to activate iCloud is inoperative. Make the app usable again..Version: 2.6

ExcellentLove this app. Works well. Many options to view cards in random or ordered. Question or Answer first or randomised. With the decks stored on my iCloud I can study on many devices.Version: 3.6

Search adviceIt is an excellent app, but only if it supports search one thing from all decks.Version: 3.5.1

Very convienientLove this app. Having all of my flash card decks on my phone that is with me always is huge. I write the cards on my Mac and then it automatically sync's to my phone..Version: 2.6

Great tool for memorizationI don’t think I’ve ever bothered to review an app before. This is a great tool. I could not replicate the experience of using this app using only paper flash cards. Studying a foreign language and within a few days of using this app for an hour a day, I noticed a leap in my learning progress. Syncs perfectly with the companion app for MacBook; enter cards on computer and study on my phone. Great product..Version: 3.4

Very HelpfulI love how quickly it shares info between devices. Everything about the flash cards is fantastic. I messed up and took information from many different sources and put them into one deck when I should have made a new deck or topic for each new source that I use. That way I can easily update the deck with a simple search. Learn from my mistake..Version: 3.0.5

Great app but be awareThis app has several great features: insert images, numbered lists, bullet list, move cards around, sort cards however you want, and many more. However, compared to the Windows and Mac version it is not as full featured. So, if you're coming from the Windows/Mac app then just be aware that you can't do certain things such as copy cards, change background card colors, display multiple cards, and sort multiple cards all at once. Still it's a fantastic app..Version: 3.4

Excellent flashcard app and v responsive supportDoes everything I need from a flashcard app. Love the syncing between iOS and Mac via iCloud, the built in text to speech capability and learning stats. Very responsive developer too. I've contacted him a couple of times to ask for help or to suggest new features and each time he's got back to me quickly to offer help and advice (which was spot-on). If you need to learn stuff by rote (vocabulary etc), but this app! (Loving the new update with a few tweaks that much it even easier to use.).Version: 2.3.1

This app is my flash card hero! For a few semesters I have been using this app. I write the cards on my Mac and, through the cloud, I can easily test myself on my phone or iPad. The app will even update continuously so when I make changes on my portable device, my Mac recognizes the changes. There's so much flexibility and options for studying, I highly recommend you use it..Version: 2.6

Excellent Study Tool! Its perfect for student pilots. This is honestly the best study app I have ever used! Everything is so easy to use and well organized. I love the way it allows you to organize each deck, create subsections for each, and how it keeps track of the areas you’re stronger/weaker in. The only thing that does bug me a bit is the fact that it does not allow you to put certain punctuation marks in the title of the decks. But honestly, this app puts other competitors, like Quizlet, to shame. It is definitely worth the money!.Version: 3.5.1

Great appGreat flash card app, I love that it syncs to all my devices. I just wish it gave me an option to use my Apple Pencil on my iPad for “handwritten” flashcards.Version: 3.0.4

Great!!!I love it! I would love it more if the option to change text color was available..Version: 2.6

Good appGood for test. Thanks.Version: 3.4

True or False QuestionsLove this app! A great improvement would be to add a way to make True and False flashcards like you do multiple choice. Except a way to reveal the answer with an explanation..Version: 3.5.1

Incredible functionalityI have never found an app that has this much functionality in a flash card format. It is spectacular. It allows grouping, editing, and structuring in ways that will allow you to prioritize which groups of cards you want to study. Hands-down well worth whatever they want to charge. I will pay it. It’s that good..Version: 3.5.1

Postgraduate revision excellenceWorks perfectly in conjunction with the desktop app. Very useful for revision and syncing between mobile and desktop apps reliably works with latest iOS and OS X updates..Version: 1.5

Love itLove the app. Wish if I had dark mode on it changed the Flashcard colours in the memorize function also to be inverted, or at least there was an option for that..Version: 3.6

Great app!Really great app for studying. I use it study for the CCNA, French, programming, electrical engineering concepts and terms and probably will use it for a whole lot more! If you have a iPhone, you can upload your cards to the icloud and then download icloud on your pc and access the cards anytime on any device. Same thing can be accomplished with Microsoft OneDrive I'm sure. Best part about it though is that it has a simple, user-driven algorithm based on three ratings your give the card (easy, unsure, hard). It makes the practice of repetition way easier. It also has a multiple choice mode that is helpful. There is a lot of customization to the two different modes. Finally, I sent in a request to the developer and he responded very quickly, which is a nice plus!.Version: 3.0.5

Flash card heroIt's a hero app. I find it easy to use yet powerful enough so that the cards have the detail I need. A quick and easy download, works well on MacBook and through iCloud is also on my phone. Thanks for an ausome study tool..Version: 1.5

Best flashcard appKeep me alive in Med school!.Version: 3.1.3

Best flashcard app everI love this app, because you pay once and don’t have to pay extra over time. MacOS version has really nice and well thought out shortcuts, which are very useful while studying and sync option through iCloud makes this app even better. Again, huge thanks to the author who made this app perpetual rather than subscription based. I encountered 0 bugs while using it! Great job, and, honestly, this app is already perfect in my opinion and doesn’t need improvements. The only that could be improved is maybe an option to add a picture and ability to write in/fill out answers inside boxes, but that’s really optional. 👍.Version: 3.5.1

Excellent AppThis is really a fine piece of software. I’ve seen nothing that compares..Version: 3.1.8

Offline is okI have nothing but raves for the Flashcard Hero app. One features I particularly appreciate is that I can keep my flash cards on my device; I am not prevented from creating, seeing, and using them when I don’t have Internet. Quizlet, in contrast, requires Internet; with Quizlet, when I am in Nepal or someplace where I am unable to connect, I can’t access my cards even to just look at them. Quizlet’s default position is that my cards are to be “shared”. That’s how they get users but that is objectionable when content is proprietary of otherwise to be exclusively mine. The default should be not to share and the option should be to share, not the other way around. So, now that I have found an excellent alternative in Flashcard Hero, one that enables me to access and build on my work anytime anywhere, I am abandoning Quizlet altogether. I see no reason to use Quizlet at all, unless I want to buy in to somebody’s ready-mades..Version: 3.0.5

Great for quizzingI enjoy a quiz with friends and this app lets me make up sets of questions tailored to the topics that often come up. Very handy to have on my phone for the odd five minutes here and there to revise..Version: 2.6

Amazing appBy far the best Flashcard app I’ve ever used, amazing customer support from Rico. Links between computer and phone is key and the interface is clean and beautiful. Does a great job with images and media on the flashcards..Version: 3.0.5

Great tool!I just want to take a moment to say that this app (Mac and iPhone) helped me out a lot. Just completed an exam on a PSYCH course I’m taking, and my confidence of knowing most of the answers just seeped out of my pores. Ha! Creating the flash cards were easy as well (cut/paste from my the notes I took on my Mac)..Version: 2.5

Great App, suggestions for extra features that love to haveThis is a great app and I love using it everyday. I add my Flashcards on my Mac and have them synced over iCloud to study them on my phone. I have over different stack of cards, each for a topic, and each is organized as folders and sub folders so I can find any card quickly if I need to. There are two features that I REALLY REALLY wished the app had. One is that it would allow you to study multiple stack of cards together. I have 10 different topics and have to go through them one by one. The second is a web interface so u could use it on any computer I see. I ask this because I do use a third non Mac computer for coding and would like to be able to add cards while having them easily synced over iCloud..Version: 3.4.1

Great app and great supportThis app is perfect for revision! I use it to learn a foreign language and it readily accepts and reproduces exactly foreign characters. It does exactly want I want it to, with a simple and aesthetic layout. I had some issues syncing to my iPhone as it doesn't have iOS 8 (I have an iPhone 4), but the support from the team is great. You can still email the cards to yourself and open them up in the app as though they were synced..Version: 1.3.1

Simple yet effectiveI recently started a school again. I experimented with a few other apps. I found this one to be the most flexible and effective without being overly complicated. Two drawbacks, 1) keyboard shorts do not work the same as they do on the Mac. 2) it would be nice to have an interface that is more like the desktop version..Version: 3.0.5

Excellent study app! This app is insanely useful when you're on the go. I do have to suggest editing the cards on your phone, would be better than always doing it on your laptop. Other than that, this app is really awesome. Love it.Version: 1.2

Way too cheap for its benefits! This is the companion app to the Mac app, which is only $10. You make the flash cards on the Mac and iCloud pushes the flash cards onto the device. Great interface. Easy controls. Only con is I didn't find it sooner..Version: 1.6

Great little appI have been using this app for couple of months now. It does the job well. It breaks the cards in chunks, so it is easy to do the memorising on a daily basis. It feels like I am doing a little quiz each day and learning..Version: 3.6.3

Nice app with responsive developerThis app looks nice and functions well. Really straight forward to use. I'd like the ability to change the font size and name on the study screen. The developer replies to emails really quickly. Hope to use more when the font is configurable..Version: 2.4.2

I love itThe way I study has completely changed after this app. I have it on every single device I own and it has been helping me to study a lot!.Version: 3.0.5

Good but needs some basic improvementsFor the most part I like the app. There are a few things that keep it from being 5 stars for me… 1. Need a few font options - you don’t need to go crazy and give me 50+ I’m in IT and like to differentiate between command output and just regular note text. Different fonts would help make this obvious. I imagine there are other use cases… Different text size would come in handy for desktop app and ipad app as well… 2. Please for the love of whatever replace the side bar with a simple, small bar up top. On my Mac, it takes up a LOT of space. Why? So I can change alignment, select bullets, etc. A ONE line tall tool bar could easily take care of this and give me back roughly 20-30% more room for my card. 3. Maybe this is a feature I haven’t found but I’d like to be able to tag my cards, e.g., I’m following along a cert guide and find info related to one topic in different chapters (and that’s ok, it makes sense for author to do that…) I’d like to be able to put a tag so I can say all of these cards are related to “objective 10” …. Or something similar..Version: 3.5.1

So efficient!! Well done guys!! You actually thought this threw unlike so many other developers.I was able to quickly add cards and didn't have to click on a bunch of options within the app. I didn't have to upload my new cards online because I could set it up through iCloud and it would instantly transfer to my phone once I was done! It was seamless entering and I was able to enter one card after the other while listening in the class without having to save it all the time or go back to previous screens cuz they built it in one screen! Very....very! efficient use of my time. I like that I don't have to go through a bunch of my notes, cuz in the end I transfer notes to flashcards anyways. Great job guys!! Thank you...thank you! Ps: using MacBook.Version: 1.6

FantasticGreat little Flashcard application, working superbly alongside the Mac version. Nice spaced repetition and leitner system too, keeping track of which cards are hard and need review more regularly. Highly recommended. No fuss, no silly features, just a great Mac/iOS/iCloud combination suite which works cleanly and transparently..Version: 3.0.5

The best flash card style study app for IPhone and Mac!I’ve been using the app for the Mac and iPhone for a few months. Both are very easy to use and the iCloud works amazingly to keep my phone or Mac updated with the latest versions of the cards I’m studying instantaneously. Thank you developers for a great app!.Version: 2.6

IndispensableDespite my skepticism, this app got me through my Latin course at uni. Syncing between Mac and iOS is reliable. Five stars well earned..Version: 2.4.1

Absolute must for students! This is the most useful app I have ever used. I recommended it to all of my friends (couldn't be greedy)..Version: 1.3.1

It’s a great flashcard system.I am using this system to support my French language learning and I purchased the linked iPhone and iMac apps. Je ne regrette rien. It is great, easy to use, flexible, you can add picture images to aid the memory process. Fantastic support from Rico on the rare occasions it is needed..Version: 3.5.1

Easy to useSimple to use and update. Works both on the computer and iPhone and iPad. Support is awesome. Storing decks in the could is helpful, it allows me to create a whack of cards on the computer but access them anywhere..Version: 1.3.1

Back to school mom-love this app!I used notecards all through high school and college. I’m back to school at 38 and I was going to do what worked for me then but my husband insisted I join the 21st century. I LOVE this app. I’ve used it for every class I’ve taken (that I got all A’s in 💁‍♀️😉). I’m sure it’s the app! I love the computer to phone integration. It makes studying on the go really convenient. I discovered in anatomy that it does picture flashcards too-which is amazing!. It’s so nerdy but I really do love this app!.Version: 3.5.1

Awesome!!!What an excellent app! With the Mac version, now I can study my botany terminologies everywhere and anytime..Version: 1.1

Amazing App for memorising! Highly recommended to all!A++!!.Version: 1.2

Works well!Have made several decks of cards involving text and image. App is easy to use and works well on different devices (synced via iCloud)..Version: 3.3.3

Great appThis is a great app and has helped a lot in my GCSE (UK) studies. This is very similar to quizlet; but obviously a lot cheaper than the premium with more features. The developer is quick to respond if one has any queries. The only improvement that I would suggest is an overall dashboard of all my revision cards and in depth analysis, like in the Anki revision card app..Version: 3.0.5

1st year medic: Great App!!I found this app halfway through my first semester of 1st year in medical school; ever since then I have stopped making notes and only used this app. Saves me a lot of time and helps me memories more efficiently also. Highly recommended to any student. I make the cards on my Mac and study them on my phone while walking to and from university or when just bumming around. Only request would be to have more colours and signs/pictures for the cover of a deck. -it would be heaven if I had a cover of bones, blood or heart etc....Version: 1.3.1

Perfect toolI wish I had this software 10 years ago when I was studying exams. I had paper flash cards that are hard to maintain. It’s a perfect app!.Version: 3.0.5

Couldn't be easierUsing this in Uni right now. The ease of creating your own cards is fantastic and ability to download from sites with existing card stacks is AWESOME..Version: 1.5

FlashcardsThe new update greatly improves the functionality of this app. Great being able to create cards from all my devices and having multiple choice tests.Version: 2.1

Helpful appThis app is great and has been a great resource and very helpful. I did take off one star however because I wish a couple things were different. For one I wish that when I switch the colors of the font I did not have to change it every single time, instead of it carrying over until I change it back. That takes up too much time. Also, I wish there was an easier way to go in to making a new card. I do this from my iPad but clicking (+) every time is annoying. Yes it only take 1/2 second to click it but its still something that could be changed. This app has some serious potential though. But it wasn’t free so I feel there should be more offered on it. Thanks!.Version: 2.8.6

Helped me pass my accreditation examI bought Flashcard Hero to prep for my APR exam. It was the first test I'd taken since college. I was never a flashcard person, but I couldn't bring myself to study from a giant PDF. This program and its desktop component made all the difference. After I turned the study guide into a series of flashcards, I turned those moments of micro-boredom on the train, waiting in a line, etc. into multiple choice moments. The program offers an impressive range of features for the modest price. I used them all -- even the remote control option! It prevented studying from feeling like a burdonsome chore, and I passed the exam on the first try..Version: 3.1.6

Great but...The interface with the Mac desktop is amazing. But. Quizlet recently got rid of their auto play cards feature. They also offer auto play foreign languages on the iPhone. This is a big opportunity and yet a drawback to this app. As someone who is an auditory learner the auto play flashcards and having the ability to listen on the iPhone was critical. I am currently looking for a solution, in this app is not that. The creators of this app are very responsive to the ideas of the users. They are always testing new features..Version: 3.6

The best flashcard app aroundThe thing that sets this app apart is it’s duel platform capability. Write the questions on your Mac and then drill them on your phone using the iOS app. Storing the decks in the cloud makes the process seamless. I also love that you can break decks into topics and subtopics. It’s perfect for memorizing law school outlines..Version: 3.0.5
