✓ MrHard to use, complex...unless you already know what you are doing, stick to angry birds. It's probably great, but you'd need a few days training to get to grips with it. Readings are wildly variable which doesn't give any confidence as to its accuracy..Version: V 1.1
✓ Not impreasedHit it one time and it shows correct pitch. Hit it again and it shows complete different pitch, if I could get my money back I would. 😞 very disappointed..Version: 2.0.16
✓ Is it me or the app?I am really struggling with this app. I’m fairly new to tuning my drums (an old Pearl Export kit) and wanted a tuner to help me with accurate intervals as well as tuning the batter and reso heads. I have found it really good for tuning the snare and smaller toms, but by the time I get to the floor and kick the tunings are so low that the lug nuts are loose and the heads have wrinkles. Another slightly frustrating problem is that sometimes when tuning the lugs a reading will jump from, say, 90hz to 145hz with just a tiny adjustment when all the other lugs are still around 90hz. I have tried various preset tunings, but without much improvement. It could be my lack of experience with tuning, but that is why I bought the app..Version: 2.0.31
✓ CounterproductiveI’ve always wanted to give this a try but this was personally a waste of time. Idk if it was my iPhone 7 or the app but the readings were just all over the place even in a silent room. I would strike the drum, get a reading, make sure the drum stopped vibrating before striking again in the same spot, and get a reading that was over 100 away. This happened consistently. Hopefully other people will have a better experience..Version: 2.0.7
✓ UnfinishedNearly every helpful tool on this app is "coming soon". There are no preset kits available so you to know exactly what frequency you want your drum to be tuned to! Very hard to use and not user friendly. Hopefully this will be improved..Version: 2.0.6
✓ Don’t bother. Doesn’t workIt really doesn’t work. Tried to like it & tried to make it work over & over again. It flies all over the place. Can’t actually lock the frequency..it changes to something else. Also, navigation is horrible. Can’t tell if it’s a scam or just an undeveloped app. Don’t waste your $. ✓ OkI like the app and it’s definitely one of the better options as a phone app. My only problem is the tuning. It may just be my phone but I hit the exact same spot at the exact same speed on the same tension rod and it will give me a range of up to +or - 60 Hz sometimes. I still haven’t gotten it to hit it’s target on any drum in my kit. I’ve basically had to go back to just tuning by ear. That’s the only reason for giving it 2 stars. If the tuning part isn’t working, then the app is pretty much useless..Version: 2.0.22
✓ Poor accuracy and non repeatable resultsVery poor accuracy. And very inconsistent results. I can get lug tuning to +/- 1hz and on a second pass to check results all lugs will seem to have a +20hz added to it. This app has caused me to over tune my drums multiple times. ✓ Ha. Jokes on me.Can’t even get the app to stay open long enough to begin using it. After purchasing, logging in and selecting which tom to tune, the screen only stay open for tuning for about two seconds, and then shuts off. I tried multiple times. Finally I shut down my phone started it back up and still no success whatsoever. iPhone 8 Plus. Every time I start to use it, the app immediately goes blank and goes back to my home screen. What a waste of time and money I highly UN-recommend this app..Version: 2.0.35

✓ WTF?First time using it and it's incredibly buggie - won't move to tune the next lug (stays one same lug and doesn't save setting) - doesn't save my drum specs - seems like some of the menu at the bottom is blocked by a keypad, so I don't know if it's covering a save button (iPhone 6). ✓ Waste of moneyShould of listened to other reviews, I didn't find it that complicated to use but it does not work! You get 4/5 different readings each time. Trust your ears or use a drum dial to get pretty close..Version: V 1.1
✓ Crashes and doesn't workUnfortunately wasted my money that I can't get back. Hoped since this was a paid app that there would be something useful. Setup my toms, was 2 inches away as specified, followed the prompt and to no avail it crashes multiple times. Looks like I gotta go old school drum tune..Version: 2.0.22
✓ They are in fact offAs I was saying they are all off each other by one. D 2nd Octave should be 134.5 / 134.5. Instead, that’s what it says for D# 2nd Octave. C# 3rd octave says 238/238 when it should tune to 253 which for that is under D 3rd octave as 252..Version: 2.0.26
✓ Pretty good, but has some issuesPretty good app, just recently started using, but I’m having issues with it. I’m using an iPhone XS Max which should have a decent mic, but while I’m tuning on the edges, sometimes it’ll read something like 123Hz and then I’ll hit the edge again and get a 230hz or something entirely different than when I hit it the first time. Also when I adjust the settings in the interval settings, it won’t save the option I picked which is a bummer because I don’t like my batter and reso tuned to the same pitch. I’m sure y’all will fix it yet with an update but at the current state, not sure if worth what I paid for the app. Needless to say, I don’t want a refund because I do like the app overall. Just waiting on an update to fix it. Maybe I’m using the app wrong but that’s just the issues I’ve been having with it.Version: 2.0.22
✓ Terrible appThis app doesn’t work. My drums never sounded worse. I’m mad that I wasted $12 on this. I followed every step and every video. It reads the Hz inconsistently. With a 32nd of a turn, the pitch the app hears can go from -13 to + 35. Even if you do get every lug with in .5hz the heads are still way out of tune. The fundamental notes in correct. ✓ Does not work on IPhone 6Before you say anything I followed the instruction and I have used my friends phone before(and it worked that time) so this is not a user error. I have a old iPhone6 and this app does not work at all on the phone. I purposefully tune one lug to the highest it can get and tune another lug completely loose. Even my tonedead drummer ear can still tell those two are not the same but the app keeps telling me that it is. I can even feel the unequal tension with my hand on the drum head but the app still tells me that those two lugs sounds the same. A bit disappointing since I know the app works but it seems it does not support iPhone 6..Version: 2.0.31
✓ Right idea, not so great performanceI bought this app to see if my tuning was accurate and to offer my students an easier way to tune. I spent 3 hours tuning one drum with this. I watched videos and read articles on how to use this. I tried every way possible. This app can’t tune my drums, and it tells me my frequency is too low. I tuned my drums my way, 15 minutes for all the drums. Top and bottom. I’m a metal player with a 6 piece set. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone. Just learn to tune drums. I just wasted my money on something I’ve already deleted and will never use again. Worst 10$, even guitar tuners work. Highly disappointed but my expectations were very low anyways..Version: 2.0.10
✓ No use without clear instruction.Purchased this last night against my better judgement. I should have taken heed of previous reviews. If there a method of getting a refund, I would certainly be doing it. Not straight forward in use and no instruction to assist. ✓ Can’t figure it out...I purchased this app and watched all the videos but still can’t figure it out. I’ve tried multiple times, as I replace all drum heads on 2 kits at least every 12 months or sooner. It is simpler to just use your ear, I was real excited about this app but it is not at all user friendly.Version: 2.0.17
