✓ Do not download this appWARNING! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. First, I downloaded it because it said a TRIAL. First fax free. Nope. The minute I downloaded it, and went to the app. Once I scanned the documents in the app that needed to be scanned.... it took me to make the payment, I submitted the payment, thinking I wouldn’t be charged until AFTER the trial period. Which is what most apps do. But they charged me immediately before I even keyed in the fax number. AND... I could NOT even fax the document that I wanted to fax. In fact, I had to download another app to get a successful fax. And that fax app sells credits. So you don’t have to commit to a monthly fee if you only fax from time to time. This app is the worst app ever. They probably know their app doesn’t even work, but just want to be dishonest and steal your month. First Fax Free??? ✓ Very poorThe fax I tried to send, wouldn't go through, I emailed the developers for advice, they got back to me 24 hours later, the fax was urgent. So I asked for a refund on the credits I bought, there response was that is not something we can do right now, and will look at it on our next update. ✓ Total waste of moneyDownloaded this app and purchased credit hoping that it could help to fax doc online. Followed the instructions step by step to scan and fax. But the icon just keep turning round and round depicting processing and sending but it never gets done. Rubbish. Dont waste your money. Added 21 May, two days after the fax was sent, I found the icon stopped turning and the fax was marked sent. ✓ BUYER BEWAREThe title of this app is deceptive. I download the app because the title says you can send & receive faxes. Believing that there is value, I purchased a 1 year subscription for $80 because the title of. I tried to receive a fax which took me to another subscription page. In order to receive faxes you have to purchase a SECOND subscription for $80 if you’re getting the yearly service. That’s a total of $160. I understand that there are fees with getting a fax number and working with other services & companies in order to receive a fax HOWEVER this should have been DISCLOSED upfront like “additional fee & subscription needed to receive faxes” or “$160 to send AND receive” or at least given the option to select which service you want. You’re forced to buy both. The subscription is very deceiving until and none of this information is available until AFTER you pay for the first subscription. ✓ Used to be a great app now it’s got quality issuesI’ve just filed two bug reports on the most recent version of this app. I got stuck in the spin wheel on the first run experience, and then again when I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. After restarting my phone, I was finally able to move forward. This subscription is set to automatic renew, which as annoying as it is, it’s common practice, so I was planning to cancel right after I sent my fax. Yet again, when I went to manage subscriptions, I got stuck in that page and the only way to get out of it was to kill the app and start fresh. This app used to be great. It used to be simple, and now they’re trying to do this cloud integration nonsense to play catch-up and apparently doing zero testing on the app. I have low low confidence in any of the bells and whistles that I was literally trying to avoid by picking the fax app that refers to itself as “tiny.” It used to be that you just bought some credits sent your fax. Now you have to get into this marriage that you plan on canceling and it’s annoying and to be honest after I write this, I’m just gonna move on to a different app and never come back.Version: 5.3.4

✓ Didn’t workOriginal version was called Tiny Fax, which was free and worked flawlessly every time. I only fax when I cannot email so each banks is somewhat dire for the recipient. Upon opening up tiny packs I found that I had to upgrade which I did also notice that each one was paid per fax, which was fine based off my past experience. I made the fax, and reported it was sent successfully by the app; but I was informed by the recipient that it never was received. Upon reporting this to the developer I was asked to get the phone number, which I did. Later I received an email telling me that the fax was sent successfully; Gee, thanks I told you that in my email to you. Apparently there is no remedy from the developer when this situation happens, so the money you spend is theirs to keep; which is fine, but I’m not going to go over and over this again and again via email for such a small amount. I simply won’t use it ever again, as I depend on each fax as I have no alternative. I found another app, that is free, that worked as I expected. I’ll keep it for now..Version: 4.0.3
✓ Poor customer service.I thought this was going to be a great app since I use tiny scanner a lot and I like it. I purchased my first 250 credits and sent my first fax. Great. However the next time I opened the app it showed zero credits. I ended up purchasing 250 more credits to continue using the service. Now I have been emailing with someone in customer service and keep getting the run around. They promise to give me my lost credits if I email them from “feedback “ but when I do that they reply and ask for more info. When I supply the info they comeback and say I have to send an email from “feedback” so they can get the device ID. So I resend all the info through the feedback platform. They respond and say “So you are missing 250 credits please send us more info. We have gone around and around and I am frustrated. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TINY FAX! Try another service..Version: 4.0.3

✓ Did not realize I would need to pay per page faxedI use Tiny Scan all the time, and it works great. You can pay for an upgrade to Tiny Scan but you can also get by for free. This app is free to download but not free to use. You cannot fax anything with it unless you pay for faxing credits. If you only need to rarely fax things it is easier than driving to the copy shop though, because who owns a fax machine anymore??? It is also not intuitive that you don't open Tiny Fax to use it if you scanned your docs with Tiny Scan. You just select fax from the send menu in Tiny Scan after you scan your pages, then Tiny Scan automatically takes you to Tiny Fax to send those pages as a fax. If you use your phones camera to take pics of your pages directly from Tiny Fax, you don't get the corner cropping dots so your fax is of your document plus whatever surface to laid it on the snap the image. Therefore I went through Tiny Scan since it crops according to your wishes and then turns the cropped image into a PDF which Tiny Fax then can send for you..Version: 3.6.2

I basically spent $6 dollars and only had to fax 2 pages. Shame one this company, of course it is possible to issue a refund. This isn’t rocket science. Also, the company emailed me back in broken English and the email signature was in Chinese, so there seems to be no way to actually get these people to play by any rules or standards. ✓ THIS APP TAKE ADVANTAGE!!I am not happy with myself writing this review because I never want to be that nagging negative entitled person. I just can’t express how insane the amount you get changed through this app. I thought it was free and I only needed it for one day!! So because I needed it I sucked it up and payed the almost 3$ for two sheets of paper to be sent over to a place not even 20 mins from me. Yes, I can drive no, I’m not lazy I just was not able to do to the situation. So I end up paying 12$ (rounding) give or take for a not many papers. THEN charged an additional 10$ (rounding) a couple days later. I just can not get over the fact that you pay to fax ONTOP of a I’m guessing “monthly fee”... Just blows my mind the sneak ness of these apps drive me nutts.. Now I can not go fwd with very Important tasks tonight because of a pending charge that must be paid in order to proceed any downloads.
