✓ For simple voice notesIt turns on recording as soon as I open the app who h is exactly what I wanted. ✓ Problems, but not bad (but not great)This is a neat little app, but it just does not work as advertised. The reminders are squirrelly. The app badge comes on immediately, as soon as a note is left, rather than only coming on when the reminder time is reached. Therefore, it always looks as if there's a reminder to look at when, in fact, that's not the case. They also have an "active alert" as well as a reminder. I have no idea what the difference is, or why an extra reminder is necessary. The best way for me to use it is to turn off the badge app icons and set it up for alerts (as opposed to banners or none). It works pretty well that way. ✓ Outstanding Productivity App!This app is excellent. I use it to record quick notes to myself that then get imported directly to my Evernote account. This all happens with one single tap of the iPhone screen. It automatically starts recording, stops at a predetermined time, and automatically sends the recording. I use it mostly while driving and I think of something I need to do. After you close the app, my music will even automatically begin playing again. I had a small glitch with my PC at work that caused the files to not play in Evernote and the app developer got back to me within minutes and walked me through the fix (which was with my computer, not Evernote or the app). Listening to radio in the car or TV when something unexpected but essential comes up, Say&Go jumps into action, seamlessly picking up the audio for the time you designate—then uploads it to Dropbox for safe retention until needed. The interface is sleek and uncluttered, with a solid set of options. I would like to see a setting giving me the option to keep recording on as long as I need, rather than the particular limits the developer has implemented, but the vast majority of recordings do fit the defaults, and don't detract from the solid performance I need. It’s apps like Say&Go that help push me toward the Apple Watch. Highly recommended. (One caveat on installation: my Dropbox account requires two-factor authentication, and seemed to mangle the first attempt at uploading a file. ✓ Good solid app on the phoneThis is a good app. I just want something where I can press an app, say something I want to remember and have it appear in my email inbox. This delivers. I find it better than Just Press Record, because Just Press Record does not email me. I have to remember to go back into the app and find my recordings. If my memory was that good, I would not need an app. Say&Go puts my recordings in my email inbox, where I will be looking all the time anyway. For the next version I would like to see it use voice recognition, so the email I get is not just titled “Say&Go”, but “Say&Go: Get more cat food”, or whatever I said. It does not matter if it does not always get the text right, as long as it has a go and attaches the actual audio file to the email (which is does anyway). I would also like to be able to configure it to use my own email account for sending, for privacy. I’m not going to give it 5 stars, because the watch app is weak. On the watch I have to press the complication to get into the app (1 click), click on the button to record (2 clicks), press on the red button when done (3 clicks), press save (4 clicks), view recording (5 clicks), export all to phone (6 clicks). Then I have to go into the app on the phone before it gets emailed. It’s not bad or evil, but it does not fit with the spirt of the app on the phone. I just want to press the button once on the watch, say what I want to say and move on. Anything else is the wrong answer. This app does just that. ✓ To know it is to love it!I had a very convoluted workflow to copy song ideas back to my Mac. I have been testing several voice memo apps. All were clunky and cumbersome to use to get stuff back to my computer without a lot of effort. I have had Say&Go for a long time but had not really gotten the time to poke around with it and learn what it had to offer. Today on a whim I started fooling with it. My first thought was: This is not going to work with only 7 seconds of recording time. Then I figured out that you could increase the time by going to the settings. You can increase it to 15 seconds. Then I discovered in the instructions on the settings page you can swipe right to automatically increase the time to 60 seconds. Wow! Easy. That’s useable for me when i have short ideas I want to record. Record. Tap a button and it’s off to DropBox. Excellent. I found my app finally. I didn’t even know there were other features for reminders as well. Nice! Worth a look if you aren’t happy with what you have found. Very functional design. Extremely intuitive. However, I also found that I love the iPhone app. I hadn't realized how annoying it was to have to keep hitting buttons on the standard memo app - open app, start recording, stop recording, save, etc. The iPhone app makes it easy to quickly make a note and not do extra stuff. There isn't a complication for the Apple Watch yet, but I've found that I just keep the Say&Go glance as the current glance, and that works fine. ✓ ExcellentI used to buy those little gadgets that let you record 10 to 20 second voice memos. Problem was, when you recorded a new one, the old one was erased. I wound up not using them. This app has a few advantages over the old technology: it can be used without Wi-fi, it keeps your memos until you erase them, it sends you reminders!
