✓ Amazing Potential!This app is amazing! It has a lot, and I mean, a lot of potential! The whole premise of the app is an interesting one, but a very good one, I love the idea of finding someone nearby! The only problem I am having personally is finding people close to me - most people are at the least ~100km from me, but not to worry! I spoke to “Holly Goodhead” through the in-app support chat, who was very helpful and perfectly fitted the theme of the app, and she has given me an extra MONTH of free trial instead of 3 days! So hopefully, hopefully, I can find someone closer enough! If you’re considering downloading this app, I would say it’s worth it 200%! ✓ Great concept but apps needs to be free to increase user baseI actually did not have too great of a time using this app. I like the concept, I think it really adds something new to the market of dating / hookup apps, but there is one massive problem: the user base is wayyyy too small. In a massive metropolitan area like NYC you can usually find just a handful of people within a reasonable distance, that’s just too few to really make anything happen. I have been using 4 different apps for hookups over the past 1-2 years and have been successful with all other three apps, but not this one, and it’s simple because I get too few matches here compared to the others. The difference is obvious: this app costs money. Make it free to use, and instead generate revenue through ads and hide some nice premium features behind a paywall, just like the other dating appacifico and you’ll actually get more people to sign up. ✓ NotenoughusersIt’s a great app in terms of layout and simplicity which I like very much. Very easy to set up, all that’s needed is a selfie. I’m trying out the 3 day trial and whilst I’ve had a few promising interactions I don’t think I’d be paying for a subscription as there just isn’t enough people on the app and I’m in London. I think if the trial period were longer or the monthly subscription a lot cheaper then that would attract a lot more users and then people would be more inclined to buy a subscription. ✓ My new brand addictionNot bad for casual encounters. It's quite beneficial just because you have a lot of girls to choose from. You can look at their pictures before you talk to them, see how everything flows, and if it's uncomfortable, eliminate the conversation and keep looking without fear of taking it out on the same girl. Even if you are rejected, it is easy to go on with your life knowing that you will have more options hahaha. The best thing is that the girls in this community are looking for two things to vox populi: casual encounters or friendly conversation. And they make it very clear from the beginning. ✓ My experianceSo let me start off bu saying that I almost got scammed on this app. ALMOST, but I did not. I enjoy the way this app seems to function differently than most other “dating apps” in that you make a post with your picture and approximate location for an hour, and you can see people within a large radius of you whom are also looking for a hookup. We all know why we are here which cuts small talk down by a lot. One of the first people i found and began talking to was a scammer, however i was able to handle that situation on my own. I messaged the staff about it and they were quick, responsive, helpful, and nice to me the entire process. I asked how to report fake users and they told me kindly. I understand that we cannot weed out fake users 100% but by allowing my report to mean something makes me feel like I matter to them. The supoort staff is easily the best on any app I have dealt with and they all deserve the world. The ONLY reason I only gave 4 as opposed to 5 is because the app population does not appear to be dense yet, however that is only a matter of time. Tl;dr App is a fun and unique experience to others on the market with a superb support staff and wonderful aesthetic dispite it’s not yet large audience. ✓ Love ItI actually love the concept of the app and out of curiosity downloaded it with no real intention on using it. I found it amusing and forgot about it. Then I found myself in a position of “needing” it and remembered this app. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with it, customer service is always very friendly. It can feel sometimes like they take a little while but they handle any issues very quickly. I’ve NEVER had anyone ask me for any money I guess I’m lucky lol. I do sometimes see a few 300 mile away people mixed in with who is close to me. It’s so far and few between I think nothing of it. I love that it’s direct and to the point like I am and like the people I’ve met. I also like that unless I mutually like a person I don’t get bombarded with a bunch of pervy messages. ✓ Nice app. I like to use it after workThis application is a great idea. I have been using it for more than 5 months and I have been able to hookup with a multitude of women. Pure is an application that makes it easier for me to meet a woman. I no longer have to worry about what to say or not say during the meeting and it makes me feel comfortable. For example, a month ago, I had a good time with a woman who is a piano teacher, she was way older than me. We didn't have many things in common but nevertheless had a good time together. ✓ Safety a priorityOver the last 6 months I’ve used multiple dating apps and one thing has become obviously apparent. The number of scammers on dating apps is ridiculous! It’s either individuals begging for money, crypto investors, guys pretending to be females, women soliciting for sex, etc.. if I had to guess I would say 8 out of every 10 profiles are scamming in some form. That brings me to Pure. Pure is an alternative dating site and for the most part it’s the same, except for one thing. Pure monitors users that are fake or scamming. I’m not sure exactly how they do it but (possibly key words or patterns) but it is appreciated. As I begin to text with a match, Pure will inform me if something is suspicious. If Pure confirms this they will block the user. This is an invaluable service for people that are looking for true connections and are not looking to be scammed. ✓ It’s ok but has its issuesSo as far as the app goes it works the way that the developers have said. However after all is said and done though there is not a whole lot of actual women on. I did the three day trial and found that most were between 3 and 5 hundred miles away.. not really sure how a 500 mile radius constitutes a viable hook up. Having the option to narrow your search by distance would be helpful. Also out of the responses I got 90% were prostitutes. The other 10% were so far away that it just wasted time. I get the idea of making the app free for women while charging the guys but when 2 of the three profiles are hookers makes it a bit disappointing. It was a girl from Florida and her voice immediately had me in shambles. We chatted through the app and added each other on Instagram. ✓ Found lots of pretty women on PureI'm currently working as a manager in supply chain management for a big corporation and I truly have to be very flexible in order to cope with the demands from this profession. I recently tried it again while on a business trip in a big east coast city and found that basically the only place in the map with any number of regular users was in. NYC. Even there, it’s only 2-3 people at a time. The other problem is that if the 5-6 people posting in the app at any given time that I checked in, I’d usually get 2-3 connection requests from people list wanting me to view their webcams. ✓ Great app with amazing potentialPure is a fantastic app, have been on and off it for a little while and have met some great people. The anonymity and design is great. But, there are a couple of problems unfortunately, main one is (as many others have said too) is lack of popularity, even in London there’s very few people (even less women I think) on the app so meeting up with someone can be a bit tricky, most time when i go on there’s about 4/5 within 20/30km which isn’t great. Also there seems to be a fair few people on there who aren’t legit, lots of catfish’s and people who aren’t who they say they or trying to get you to follow links to some kinda dodgy site. I think pure have introduced a free feature but if they could make the app cheaper (or free) and get some marketing or Facebook ads this app would take off and it would be sooo amazing! It’s nearly there and I could see it being as popular as bumble/tinder or wherever. ✓ Be wary of in-app purchasesA nicely designed app. A number of fake profiles on there, and even though I live in London, there weren’t tons of faces on it: but neither of those are exactly the app’s fault, and the second issue will be resolved if more people join it. HOWEVER – I made an in-app purchase for a digital token that allows you to start a conversation with someone without needing to match with them. It cost £3.99. I was billed, but never received the token. I contacted customer care about the issue, and said could they either give me the token, or refund me. They refused to do anything about it, even after I showed them my bank statement proving the money had come out of my account. Here’s the curt message they sent me after I requested their help for the second time: “Hello, By purchasing a subscription, you agree with Recurring Payment Policy, Terms of Use and Returns Policy. This means that we do not grant refunds. Regards, Viktoria Pure Team” I thought this was incredibly poor customer care, as a) they had proof of my purchase, and could surely check their systems to see if I’d received the token, and b) since all I asked for, to remedy the issue, was for them to provide my account with a digital token – an act which would cost them nothing – I was amazed they didn’t do it. ✓ Waste of time, unless you like talking to botsSomehow every person that likes me happens to be from the same town 413.9 miles away. They all ask to add them on Snapchat or Instagram. They also all have horrendous English. I don’t know where this magical town is but it seems that’s where every single person on this app resides. Oh and if the one in a million person who is within 50 miles of me matches, literally every single one is out of gas and needs me to Venmo them some money. All with the promise of paying me back when we meet up. Or if they ask me to come over, all of them just so happen to be watching their younger cousins while their aunts are out of town and desperately need me to pick up a PS4 steam wallet game to keep the kids occupied. It’s truly amazing that every person on this app seems to have the same exact issues. Out of gas or needs the codes to a digital game pass? So weird! But seriously, this app is nothing but bots. It’s become more entertainment at this point to see how the scammers update their bots almost in real time. I’m willing to bet that almost every positive review on this app is a paid review to boost their image. And did I mention I got an alert from the supposed developers that I report fake profiles too much? Yeah. Because of the app’s very direct nature I find it much easier to make authentic connections without a lot of small talk and other unnecessary social niceties. And authentic human connections are important for “other” quality connections… The dice feature is also really fun!! The developers seem to sincerely care about making this app fun for everyone and customer service has been responsive and very helpful the one or two times I’ve needed them. The complaints about the lack of women on here is not the app’s fault. When our society stops shaming and punishing women for expressing their sexuality, more women will be on apps like this. ✓ A flawed brillianceThé app itself is wonderfully executed, it is a breath of fresh air compared to the competition. The simplicity and lack of filling out any tedious profiles makes it a streamlined experience where you can focus on making connections with people that you otherwise wouldn’t. I wish I could say that I am using and enjoying the app but I just cannot seem to find anyone locally. The few people that are within a sensible distance seem either to be bots or simply don’t make a connection. I get suggestions for people living in the south of France which shows the lack of users. ✓ Progress made and still a great appI joined Pure a couple of years ago and have used it in short bursts ever since. Although I recently paid up for the year. I’ve met some great people on there and had a lot of fun. The women are real and the app does its best to stop bots and fakes from getting through which is appreciated. Sadly as with any app there’s an increase in girls looking to get paid but that’s par for the course these days. My only hope is that Pure spends some money on ads to get more women to the app because the ratio of men to women is already way too off kilter. Pictures and conversations get deleted unless you specify otherwise, they choose the (fun) name for you, and, what I love the most, is the no screenshot rule and execution of that. If you take a screenshot, only Pure’s art shows up. It feels like they had women and how they can get taken advantage of in mind when creating some of its features. Not sure if they did, but that’s how it feels. Also, the people I’m meeting and matching with seem to be of better quality. I can’t quite explain it, but I have better chats and encounters here. Plus we all know why we use Pure. Basically everyone knows what they want. ✓ Too many scammersHi there, I will start by saying the app’s concept is great. An easy way to have a one night stand with no strings attached with someone who you probably don’t even know the name of. They developers introduced a way where a Live Photo needs to be taken for one to upload a profile picture. I think this was very smart on their end. However , the number of scammers on this app far outweighs the number of legitimate girls. It’s just so annoying knowing I paid money to talk to someone for half an hour and then them telling to to go on some other app and pay money to “verify my age” or the classic “the person I’m borrowing a car off needs me to pay them for the petrol and I’m broke. Could you send me some money to pay them”. It’s just really annoying. To the developers of the app , wether or not they’ll see this, please try and find a way of dealing with scammers before charging people. It truely feels like I’m grabbing my money and throwing it in the bin when I subscribed. If the app was good with security and could avoid majority of scammers (because obviously it’s impossible to avoid all) I’d give it a 5 star rating..Version: 2.38

✓ Full of scammersThe app could be great. But for me it is almost entirely scammers. Everyone is sending me links for their fake Instagram or Hangouts account and trying to get me to sign up to dodgy outside websites. This detracts from the enjoyment of the app. All the “girls” seem to be fake. I feel dirty when I think that I’ve been chatting to “girls” who are probably old sleazy men overseas trying to steal my money..Version: 2.46
