Squeezy for Negative User Reviews

Watch feedbackI downloaded this post baby but had to disable it as the reminder image flashing up on my watch all the time was a little embarrassing! Please consider a picture that didn’t look like a busting lady!!.Version: 2.7.1

Preferred old version.I use app daily for over 2 years and would have given 5 stars to old version. On this version the vibrate doesn’t work when sound off which is odd. Also the old version would not just notify you with reminders, but would have a visual indication on the app icon that you had missed or were late for a session. Would love to be able to go back to old version..Version: 4.2.0

Great app, hope they bring back app featureI love this app, but the main reason I chose this one was because I could put it on my watch and complete my exercises inconspicuously, or on the go when I’m driving. I really hope developers focus on bringing it back in the future..Version: 4.2.0

Update has made it uselessI’ve used this app for four years successfully. However, the latest update has stopped there being a red number showing on the icon on my screen to remind me I needed to squeeze. Consequently since updating I have missed loads of sessions. Having to open the app to see if I’ve done all my sessions is too much faff, and frankly without that red number I just forget. Reminders appearing and disappearing as notifications are nowhere near as effective. Thanks for completely ruining the app for me. And yes I did use the feedback option in the app but haven’t had a reply as yet..Version: 4.2.0

Very poor app. Not even worth a dollarBiggest issues are that you cannot increase repetitions beyond 10 or set a couple different workouts. Main issues is that apple watch does vibrate at all during exercise so its worthless trying to use unless you want to hold up your wrist for the whole time which would be tiring and weird. Waste of money, there are better apps for free.Version: 1.5.4

Not good for Apple WatchI bought this app specifically so I could use it on my Apple Watch. Do not buy this app if this is what you want it for. It doesn't work. It freezes mid exercise and will just stop altogether if you drop your wrist (it won't continue the countdown in the background so you have to stare at it the whole time). Disappointed it doesn't have sound or vibration on the watch so you can continue your activities/working while doing the exercises with it prompting you when to squeeze and when to rest. Instead like I said you have to Stan/sit there and stare at your watch for the whole thing. Not practical..Version: 1.5.4

So much potential yet ingredients missingThe. cues to help you do the exercises are great. Love the info included in app As well. But…, I am quite disappointed you can’t set the app to give and audible notification when it’s time to do your exercises. Unless you watch the clock or are glued to your phone you just miss all your squeezes. The only option seems to be to set seperate alarms which kind of make the app a bit useless in my opinion. Also, I think the app should also include a bowel diary not just a bladder diary..Version: 4.2.1

SqueezyHave just updated the app and now I cannot save my exercises. Rather frustrating.Version: 4.2.0

Best there is for Apple WatchIt’s the best there is for the Apple Watch but could still use some work. It doesn’t sync exercises very well and it over-notifies me. As others have said, I wish it would give haptic ticks without the screen needing to be on and active. That being said, I’m thankful to have an app that will work in the watch. It has upped my consistency in doing the exercises and is benefiting my postpartum muscles..Version: 2.7.0

Watch HapticsI loved that I could exercise from my watch, but I stopped because it doesn't integrate use of haptics, and the watch timed out as I was watching during exercises. Please better develop the watch app and integrate all available features..Version: 1.5.4

Haptics on Watch stop when the screen sleepsI wanted something which gives good customisation, and reminders throughout the day, on the Apple Watch as well as the phone (I want to be able to do them in work without looking like I’m staring at my phone). It works well, except the Watch app goes to sleep with the same frequency as your watch screen settings and the haptics stop working as well, so it becomes redundant unless you are constantly tapping and watching your watch. Which makes the Watch app pretty pointless as you can soo this on your phone. Please fix this, as otherwise it’s a great app and there aren’t many out there which offer the Watch app function..Version: 2.1.4

Great app but annoying amount of reminders! This app is great and easy to use, but the number of reminders is really annoying. I wanted to be reminded for the three sessions a day, but having three reminders per session is too much and there’s no option to change that. It’s all or nothing. For days where I can’t do the session there and then, or even in the following hour, I don’t want to be constantly reminded. Please add the option of how many reminders per session. I’ve had to turn the reminders off which I’ll probably now forget to do the exercises at all!.Version: 2.7.1

Over charged and no response!Paid for the app $4.48 and was deducted $24.48 from my bank! Sent off an email and haven’t heard anything!.Version: 2.7.1

Used to be great but update spoilt functionalityThis is a great app, simple to use and straightforward. I’ve been using it daily for about 18 months. However the recent update has spoilt it. The text on screen became larger and doesn’t appear so good but the vibrate function doesn’t work any more even though I am using the most recent version which said this has be reinstated. It’s also been glitching when you close this app it also stops other sound based apps at the same time. Please sort these issues out or just go back to the old version which worked much better!! I already reached out directly to the support on the app and nothing has changed!.Version: 4.2.1

Syncing with iPadThere’s lots to love about this app, like the graphics and vibrating signals that time you without staring at a screen for times when you’re on public transport. Is there a way to persuade phone and iPad to sync tho? As a retired person I spend a lot of time on iPad but find it frustrating that my mid afternoon squeezes using iPhone aren’t recorded. Also it’s a pity you can’t leave the screen to do something else like read or play a game while the clicks time you. It just pauses, meaning you have no choice but to stare at the water drops. We need not to get bored with this stuff over a period of months!.Version: 2.7.1

Good basics, but needs some additionsThis is a solid app from the NHS - thank you. But having used it for several weeks, I can see that the app needs an advanced section, for those who’ve been using the app for a while and who are ready to try longer or just some different exercises. Currently the only option to extend the exercises is to increase the number of times you do them per day - very boring if you’re already doing the exact same movements 3 times a day every day. Please could the developers consider adding this option? Or at least to add a rewards or incentive option- eg complete all exercises every day for 1 week and get a star or similar. Complete every day for a month and be given ‘bronze’ status. Just anything to incentivize users and break up the monotony. Thanks. Otherwise a useful and important app.Version: 2.7.1

Could be GoodHolding your finger on the screen is a pain while squeezing and you end up setting off other functions, and losing your progress. There is no haptic feedback, you could easily work away and squeeze with eh write haptic cues. Hopefully they will update, because it is a well done app otherwise..Version: 1.5.3

Changes added no benefits (made it slightly worse)This is a useful app (& it’s making a difference for me) but the update has just removed useful things and made it worse for no perceivable benefits. - The vibrations are only available if your sound is on, you used to be able to have vibrate if your phone was on silent. (I tend to run my phone on silent when at work and I then forget to put it back to silent after using the app) - it doesn’t consistently record sessions. Many just don’t seem to log despite completing both sets and selecting to log them. - the removal of the Apple Watch app is such a shame. I know it didn’t sync but it was so useful for doing exercises discreetly in public. Could it not have been retained even if not updated? I do really appreciate this app and it’s been a good addition to my daily routine but I just can’t fathom why a redesign was needed at the expense of functionality..Version: 4.2.1

Basically a counting app you have to pay forBought this post operatively after the physiotherapist mentioned it may help with pelvic floor exercises. It doesn’t. It basically counts your 3x daily sessions. And you still have to remember to press start and stop. It’s a stopwatch app you have to pay for. Other than the extra information you get about how, why and when…. which can be googled for free or obtained from healthcare professionals this is just a money making counting/recording app. It doesn’t even remind you. Don’t bother..Version: 4.2.1

Watch screen doesn’t stay on throughout sessionWould be better if you could make the watch version not turn off the screen during the session without having to change the permanent watch screen settings..Version: 2.7.1

Watch app not worth itThe app itself has moving visuals and vibrates to cue you to squeeze but the watch portion is not worth using. The app on the Apple Watch 5 has the screen turn off while in-use and it needs better visuals. The reminder seems to pop up multiple times for one reminder, is quite annoying and the settings do not allow you to configure this..Version: 2.7.1

DisappointedI have a free Kegel app on my phone which I love. I paid money for this one for the ease of using it on my watch. Unfortunately it seems to only keep track of the exercises you do from the phone, not your watch. Also the screen timeout on the watch (set at the max time allotted) stops the tap alerts from the app. So unless you’re randomly shake your wrist or tap the screen it’s like the app isn’t even running..Version: 2.7.1

Should only use under the supervision of a therapist that’s actually seen your problem in person!I started using this app on the say so and recommendation of a gyno physio therapist, they had never seen me in person so they didn’t fully know what was wrong down there. I was passed on to them without being seen by a specialist who would have been able to say what my problem was. I really wish I had never used this app without being seen by a proper gynaecologist first! The app is good for reminding you when to do your exercises and the daily planner lets you keep note of things you have noticed so you have your record available to yourself and also your specialist if you have seen one. I had a gyno physical therapist who had only spoke to me on a phone! They recommend I use this app! The app itself does say you shouldn’t do the exercises if you haven’t been physically seen! After the first 3 months of exercises I ended up in pain. I just thought it must be normal or totally unrelated. I still don’t know why or what it is and I still haven’t been seen by a specialist. So if you have come to this app from the say so from an NHS worker who hasn’t seen you in person DO NOT USE IT!.Version: 2.7.1
