Bandcamp for Positive User Reviews

First time listener...I rarely give five stars, and I never write reviews. But I love this app, place, thing? I’ve been so busy with work and kids for the past six years I basically forgot about the music and how good it makes me feel. I downloaded Bandcamp when I saw my musician friends talking about the inequities in other online music purchasing platforms. I was overwhelmed when I first opened it up because there’s a lot going on. But then I got a sick and found a bunch of time to myself and was able to look closer. I found all my friends albums and a bunch of new stuff. I am in love! Most apps don’t actually make you feel better. This one does..Version: 2.3.8

It's a fantastic music app IMO.Bandcamp has taken the place of what iTunes once was for me. It's a great place for discovering new artists/genres. If you're into obscure forms of music then you have come to the right place. I also feel Bandcamp does the musicians justice in relation to giving back to them. They promote up and coming artists and support a many that go under the radar. This is why I'm thankful Bandcamp exists..Version: 3.0.1

Who?Thirty Helen’s? I assume that’s a band?.Version: 2.1.1

Fast becoming a go to resourceI’m just bowled over by the quality of music and ease of use for researching and obtaining music through Bandcamp..Version: 2.1.4

“Following” tab removed in new updateCame here to complain about the removal of the following tab in the new update. So I find a new band, like them, hit the follow button and then when I want to go back to check them out again I have to remember what they are called and search the name. Do you know how annoying that is when you listen to black metal??.Version: 2.6.0

Queue system imperfect, otherwise greatQueuing is great, but the implementation is weird. Add to queue should *add* to now playing, regardless of whether what is playing was added through the queue system. If you play a track or album without enqueuing things and then *add* to it later, the current queue gets wiped and it starts playing the added tracks. Weird decision there. That’s honestly the biggest issue, so pretty easy 4 stars, but it could be better..Version: 2.5.5

Queuing….finallySo excited for the new queuing feature. I love the Bandcamp concept, simple app and Apple CarPlay integration. Just add payments to the app and I think it hits 5 stars.Version: 2.5.1

Dis BossAs above. Dis app bawse.Version: 2.0.4

!!tunes!!Love love love love bandcamp, but please create a “basket” so i can purchase multiple tracks in one go rather than going through each purchase one by one. ADD TO WISH LIST should read… ADD TO BASKET ! SORT IT OUT.Version: 2.4.9

Good, but room for improvementIt's a good app but with two glaringly obvious shortcomings: there is no iPad version, and you only have access to Bandcamp music you own, rather than the whole vast array of things you can stream and explore to on the website. Given that in iOS you can access the website and play music via Safari even when the browser tab is not active or if your device is locked, then it is a silly and meaningless barrier which will inevitably be dissolved at some point in the near future so why not just go all the way? Other than that, the app works exactly as described and I haven't seen any bugs or instability..Version: 1.5.5

The only app for music streamingLove getting access to artist’s music and making sure artists get the money. Forget $potify and the rest, Bandcamp are heroes..Version: 2.3.4

It’s the closest experience to record shopping but onlineI love this app, I love the way it supply’s art work and tracks for me to stream and listen on the go. Getting fresh material across multiple genres and it feels organic. Unlike other streaming services out there. Requests to improve When filtering genres I would like a play all - so it will Autoplay multiple albums not just the one release Can we build a cart in the app so I can prep tracks I wish to buy? I appreciate you have many formats for sellers to accomodate but a basic cart would be great Is there possibility of a streaming service for djs? I would prefer to use your platform over others in the market? Cheers Sam.Version: 2.1.17

Quality MattersBandcamp is generally my first stop when I want to buy a digital copy of music. Downloads can come in variety of different formats including WAV and AIFF for audiophiles..Version: 2.1.18

Excellent source! An excellent way to purchase music that directly supports the artists, and learn about new artists out there!.Version: 2.3.8

GreatWhatever's happening with the older versions! Look no further than the latest update. I can listen to the weekly, get my music and organise my account. All you need for the phone version of Bandcamp. Looks clean to. Good job :).Version: 1.9.3

Great app, too small for iPadThis app is worth 5 stars all day. If you’re trying to manage a band or artist, make sure you download the other app made for that. The display is obviously sized for phones, so it gets scaled up on the iPad. All that means is you get black bars on either side of the display, and the keypad is strangely big. But it’s really not an issue, some people just might be put off by it. If you want to listen to your Bandcamp collection, get this app! It makes it so easy. A+.Version: 2.1.4

Great could be amazingWhy not keep bought items on the device, not just downloadable?.Version: 2.1.4

Bandcamp>Soundcloud.Word..Version: 1.7.3

Love itIt’s always annoyed me how in most music stores you can’t listen to the whole track but no more with this app I also like how you can comment on albums and pay what you like (as long as it’s above the set price) Shame you can’t buy things directly through the mobile app but given that when you buy you also get a download file of the format of your choice I can see how that’d be tricky to implement in the app I first found this website when I was looking up music from my favourite websites and since then it’s introduced me to new music too.Version: 2.1.4

Amazing... but one minor thingFrankly Bandcamp has changed my life in a non cliche way. It has allowed me to find music I enjoy and has allowed me to find my tastes outside of the mainstream. It’s also allowed me to appreciate older technologies and has given me huge admiration for the artists that make music on Bandcamp. The UI on my laptop is amazing and I love using it. But on the phone it’s a bit of a problem for me. Personally I wish there was a way to organize all of my music on my phone similar to how it can be organized on the computer. Because while it is only minor, scrolling through all of the music I have can be rather tedious and the filter options provided only do so much. But other than that small issue that is really minor, I love Bandcamp and can’t wait to see what other music I find..Version: 2.3.9

✌️Lobby music / 10 would login again.Version: 2.1.8

Great app For Supporting ArtistsPretty sweet deal. I can buy piles of music from Bandcamp and support the artists I like, plus access an abundance of music wherever I am without having to trade out Mp3s off of my iPhone 8 because of space issues. I can also listen to songs off my wish list as well, at the artist's discretion which is very cool. The ability to be able to search all of Bandcamp for artists, songs and add to the wish list from the app is awesome and very convenient. Love the fact I can access my wish list now and be able to stream whatever songs I like instead of being limited to a featured track. Beyond the fact one cannot purchase from the app, I would say it does everything now I would normally have to do from the website. My only two big complaints are now it is mixing my suggested artists releases with the people I follow so I may have to ditch them because I don’t have all day searching for my artists. Also, isn’t it time for a real iPad app?? Other than those issues I like now getting messages from the artists about new releases or whatever..Version: 2.1.3

Fresh Music For EveryoneThis is the first app I’ve cared to review ever. For those of you looking for new music from underground, independent, or popular, whether your taste is hip-hop, rock, or electronic, this is the app for you. To me it’s great because there’s such an enormous and fresh selection, and it for the most part is free! Best selling artists are constantly changing, there’s always someone new to listen to. The only reason I give four stars, is because I’d like to see more promotion of the lesser selling independent artists, which is hard to find. Also because, I add a lot of music to my wishlist on here, and it gets significantly harder to find. I just hope they end up organising that. It is an amazing music app otherwise, highly recommended. Good job guys!.Version: 2.1.3

Come on, iPad version please!I didn’t ever plan on writing an app or product review, but I have been driven to do so by my utter frustration at the lack of an iPad version of Bandcamp! I used to spend around £40 per month on Bandcamp music but the appalling web browser UX has driven me to source my music from elsewhere! Bandcamp is fantastic but this is such a let down. Are the development costs really that high?.Version: 2.1.23

App for a Great ServiceAs a website and as a music distribution service, I love Bandcamp. Some of my best music finds were on Bandcamp and I even use it to distribute my own music. If you want to access this service from a mobile device, download this app. However, I do deduct a star for the lack of dark mode. I often use my phone late at night, and the lack of a dark mode makes Bandcamp on mobile a slightly less pleasant experience. Really, this is my only complaint..Version: 2.4.9

Great for playing your libraryI find this app useful for playing my library on the go. I just wish it would tell me what is cached so I can limit my data usage..Version: 2.0.1

Great for people who like indie musicI love this app because it allows me to get niche music on my phone super easy. A lot of the music I like isn't on Spotify, apple music and sound cloud. Bandcamp let's me support some of my favourite artists like Home and Blank banshee :).Version: 2.1.2

Best platform to find/buy new musicLove it , wish I could make a playlist with the albums I’ve bought. Still I couldn’t live without it..Version: 2.2.1

100% get this app !I saved so much cash just because of the fact most material you set the price. Definitely my goto from now on compared to all other services before ! Also the artist get a descent cut of the money no matter how much the transaction..Version: 2.2.0

More than just a music platformBandcamp is an easy to use platform to buy all your music needs while knowing the artist are getting looked after. Bandcamp has also gone above the call of duty to support the greater community by raising awareness and funds! Keep up the great work..Version: 2.2.1

Save the music industryGet it.Version: 1.8.3

Good, Could Be BetterLove Bandcamp! However, the app has a few minor flaws that I would like to see fixed/updated in the next release. The first issue is that sometimes songs won’t play. You open an album, touch the first song or play button, the song title flashes bold, unbolds, the next song bolds, and nothing plays. Sometimes by repeatedly tapping the song I can get it to play, but more often than not, I have to force close the app to get it working correctly. The second is that hiding albums does not remove them from your collection to a hidden sub-group like on the website. This is very annoying as I have purchased entire catalogues from some labels and invariably a lot of titles are junk. I don't want to see them and I don't want to sift through them every time I use the app. Please fix this. Otherwise, great app and outstanding service!.Version: 2.1.4

Love itLove Bandcamp for giving bands an opportunity to connect worldwide & sell albums without having to use itunes.Version: 2.1.9

Great app but songs need to be available to download on iOSI used this app on my note 8 and had quite the collection but you can’t download music for iPhone i don’t want to download it from a Mac just straight to my iPhone.Version: 2.1.4

Better than SpotifyIf you a music player with a conscious, look no further.Version: 2.3.4

Love the appBandcamp is a great music app, I love how they give you the opportunity to listen to the songs a couple times before you purchase them. I wish they would add functionality to Siri though.Version: 2.4.5

Chromecast??Would love to be able to cast Bandcamp to chromecast audio.Version: 2.0.6

Almost perfectIf we could buy albums here, it would be perfect..Version: 2.1.17

❤️BandcampI’ve been a punter on Bandcamp for several years now, having originally been introduced by Tom Green (Another Fine Day) who was an early artist to take to the platform. I like that the bulk of my payment goes into the pockets of the artists and labels. As a model for keeping a commercial edge to artist ‘product’ in these days of instant streaming it strikes me as fair, equable and sustainable, especially with the opportunity to buy the full range of formats from vinyl to streaming. If I pay a pound or two more for a vinyl release than I might buying from Juno then so be it, the reward is in the continuation of the artists & labels I love and, whilst Juno and their like are often a lifeline for a DJ in a northern English city which does not cater for my musical tastes, the opportunity to cut out the middleman is irresistible. Love the web site, love the range and, in particular atm, loving Bongo Joe label’s witty and wonderful eclecticism. Keep on keeping on! x.Version: 2.1.14

Great Leap Forward: In-App DownloadsAt last, I can now use Bandcamp tracks off line without going through the iTunes side loading process. this really is a huge help..Version: 2.4.1

There's no better place...There's absolutely no better place to discover brilliant new art while dealing directly with artists and fans. Bandcamp is a compulsory space for people to share musical innovation, creativity and passion..Version: 2.1.4

Collection not appearingI love this app but for some reason, the music I purchased isn’t appearing on my account, despite appearing on my phone’s safari and on my computer when I’m logged in. Could be because I used a gift card, but I’m not sure....Version: 2.1.3

It’s pretty goodI’m going to be completely honest in this review, the only reason I downloaded this app was to check out Mars Argo’s music because it isn’t on Spotify (apparently it used to be) and only three videos are left on the YouTube channel. I used the desktop website to stream Mango Angle, and I decided to try it again. It works fine for listening to music..Version: 2.1.4

Great, as an artist and fan I love the website.Although I started of with the website and thought it was pretty neat, I tried the app. The app is useful and intelligently created but I really want to download tracks with ITunes credits from my IPhone. that would make it easier and faster then starting up my PC and downloading a new favourite track..Version: 2.1.3

The cream of the cropTop of the range in terms of digital music distribution services. Fantastic sound quality streaming, higher pay per stream for artists and direct links to the stores from which you can buy their music. One of the best places to be for any lover of music..Version: 2.3.4

Almost perfect. Still whole heartedly worth it!Update: Features are in! Yay! "Shame it's missing some tiny features here & there, -album shuffle, playlists, but as far giving power back to the consumer & one of the best supports of Artists directly, of any platform, it's pretty much perfect! : P" 5 Stars!.Version: 2.1.9

Shuffle AllBest update ever!!! Been waiting for the shuffle all button for all my collections. Thank you for adding that!.Version: 2.6.0

Making the journey to new music a joyIt’s clear a lot of thought went into the app. From the layout and UX to the delightful 3 dancers at the bottom of each page - it’s always a delight to use. Well done all involved..Version: 2.3.4

DarkmodeCould we possibly get a dark mode option?.Version: 2.5.2

Nice but repeat goes off. Needs ability to dj/ put in dawI need to dj my tracks from this app thank you. But more then this, there is no support for horizontal viewing, would love to make playlists, would love for repeat all tracks to be standard setting, would love to see Siri Shortcuts. Digital is the future of buying physical things. I’d love to see uploads in artist app. Thank u for adding download option in this app recently. It’d be cool to play artist videos in this app. Everyone that listen w this and makes music is also a dj, so the ability to mix tracks would be exceptional, and to be able to add to other app instruments like AUM or Audiobus. This would greatly increase functionality and popularity..Version: 2.4.1

Fantastic appI’ve recently started up a proper account on here and it’s great; heaps of new artists to discover and new options for purchasing music. Helped me rediscover my passion for music..Version: 2.1.4

Fantastic appSupport artists directly, not massive conglomerates who pass artists a shaving of a subscription if they’re feeling generous. This is a great app with loads of artists to dive into. The only issue is that they STILL only let you buy digital music from the desktop site, which is odd given you can buy physical merch from both the site and the app. Perhaps it’s an Apple restriction, not wanting competition with their own service, but it’s irritating nonetheless. A dedicated app for playing/downloading music would also be nice, I find the UI fine for playing the odd track but rather clunky when using for extended periods..Version: 2.2.3

BE WARNEDStarted off fine then my account was deleted with no warning and all of my purchases with it. You might be fooled into supporting smaller artists but bandcamp will steal your money. Customer service is appallingly bad also..Version: 2.4.7

A Must Have For Music LoversAs a platform, this provides one of the best ways to support a band. The lowest take from all platforms means the Artists get the most back. Also as a supporter of the DIY scene, you can find many bands you didn’t know existed. Keep up the good work..Version: 2.1.4

BandcampI like Bandcamp for the way they support independent artist. However, I’m disappointed as a IPhone user that I can’t download my tracks to my phone. Yes I have the Bandcamp App but it doesn’t allow me to play the songs in a continuous flow, I have to press play each time which is very annoying. Otherwise all good..Version: 2.3.4

Independent blissWELL LAYED OUT. LOTS OF MUSIC CHOISESdope for all music.Version: 2.3.4

Great for those who want to keep there music library. As good as Apple Music is, when I’m using it I find myself missing my iPod. If I don’t have cash in my account and it expires I suddenly find myself music-less. If I’m on a train with a bad connection, music goes again. And more generally, I like my music collection being a permanent set of files on my computer. Band camp is solving this problem for me. I listen to an album a few times for free with the Bandcamp app. If I like it I buy it (usually for cheaper then iTunes) then I download the files and load them into Swansian for the Mac (an app that is basically styled after the old versions of iTunes before it got bloated and confusing), then continue to listen to it on the Bandcamp app where it seems to stay downloaded a lot more reliably then Apple Music. The music selection is a lot better then you might expect. Plenty of big artists on there and a ton of smaller artists to discover along the way. Minor feature requests for the Bandcamp app... a manual download button/indicator if I want to load up on songs before a trip. Some music app style list views for selecting songs. As I plan on expanding my collection quite a bit! Keep up the good work guys!.Version: 2.1.4

BandcampEasy to use great to listen to from your iPhone or computer wherever you go. Also keeps you updated on your favourite artist and upcoming albums.Version: 2.5.3

Where did Google Cast support go??I love what Bandcamp does, but it really sucks that it’s no longer possible to use Chromecast with Google devices in this app, which is my main way of listening to music. Please bring it back !.Version: 2.5.3

Love the app but needs chrome cast / AirPlayLove everything about the usability and content. Would buy more vinyl if shipping costs were lower. Would be more in love if it had chrome cast & airplay. Playlists would also be a bonus. Continuous play from purchased tracks seems to have been removed, would like that feature back please. Great work overall guys, keep it up..Version: 2.1.4

The best music app everYes it is I've only had it for a day and let's say if you like out there music this is a must have cause yes there's lots of alt music here ready for your ears to make love with.Version: 1.7

Love itBandcamp is great!.Version: 1.8.7

30 out of 30 Helens agree Bandcamp sets the standardOut of all the music offering services, Bandcamp is my favourite for best audio quality and delivery. Keep it up! I want you guys to win while maintaining your excellent standards. Also, thank you for offering 24-bit Hi-Res audio in ALAC. It makes it so easy to sync to my iOS devices..Version: 2.1.3

Embraces excellenceBandcamp is just so much better than the competition. I get to stream things before buying, and when I do decide to buy I get the album forever - its not a subscription service, which I absolutely love! What’s more - you’re more directly supporting the artists you listen to - this actually motivates me to spend my money on albums I’ve enjoyed..Version: 2.5.3

Great way to support artistsIt’s a great way to support artist. Much better than streaming platforms with exploiting business model. The app needs a bit of an UX update but overall is good. Apple needs to allow direct purchase from the app without taking a cut..Version: 2.4.9

The Primary Digital Music Platform. This is where I hold ownership of almost all the digital albums/tracks I own, I hold the service highly and have been happy with the directions they’ve taken with updates to it. Direct downloading of lossless files, not to mention a selection of other formats, is super useful. It has a good means of discovering unique, genuine artists from different areas that I’ve found to be really interesting to listen to; this app/sites social side has continued to serve gleefully. Addition of downloading to mobile on the app has been a good one too. The team inform on update logs, unlike other app logs, and it’s informative to us, the users. The more we get feedback and details on updates the more we can form a constructive opinion on changes made. It’s been very fair to users to upload and sell music on Bandcamp too, of which I am very grateful for the level of service provided here, though I keep a watchful eye as business tends to go the cheapest lose out further: I keep an eye and I hope that financial and sales means don’t start getting the small artist mugged off for any less. This is a truly good site with truly good potential to be the best of the best, don’t mess it up for us please. Lovin bandcamp for days bruh (*´Д`*).Version: 2.5.3

Generally good but problems with Queues and CarPlay crashesGenerally good (love being able to download albums) but problems with Queues and CarPlay crashes — getting crashes every time I try to open the app with car play. Opened fine first time I set up my device with CarPlay and opened Bandcamp, but now, no matter what, the app fails to open through CarPlay (black screen & instant crash), no other app does this!! Please fix!!!.Version: 2.5.3

Serving my current needs for the most partThe app itself should honestly be getting 5 stars from me, however, my main reason for even consistently using the app right now is ‘cause I’m stuck with an old iPhone (🤮) since my S21 broke and I can’t access my library of 11k songs, so in the meantime I’m stuck with what I can listen to via my Bandcamp purchases. The reason I give it 4 stars is because I can’t simply play all music from my collection on shuffle and can only play albums or singles individually.Version: 2.4.9

Really goodI really like this I cam listen to good music that isn’t on iMusic but I wish I could pay with funds I have on my phone.Version: 2.1.4

SuperbLove everything about this app. Visually it's great and easy to navigate & it seems to be a wonderful outlet for bands to put music out. Thanks.Version: 2.1.3

So goodI weep its that good.Version: 1.8.3

For Real MusicThis app allows you to support your favourite musicians directly and enjoy their art even before you purchase it as the title says for real music this app is a must.Version: 2.1.18

Pls add a repeat single track on downloadsI like this app now that it’s working better. I would like it more if I could repeat a single track on downloaded music. Also navigation around queuing music could be better..Version: 2.6.0

Great App On A Smartphone For Playing Purchased MusicI think there should be a way to search for artists and purchase music through the app on a smartphone, but you can always go to the website on a phone to do that. I would like for the app to have a repeat (one song, entire album) and a shuffle button on the player. It would also be nice to see the lyrics for a song while playing it if the artist uploaded them to the website. Then I think the player would be perfect..Version: 2.1.3

Love Bandcamp!I am both an artist on Bandcamp and an enthusiastic consumer. I love the variety of music available, the friendly and efficient purchase process, and the chance to support other independent artists. I consistently recommend it, both to music lovers and musicians..Version: 2.3.3

My heroin.Such aural addiction. I Just wish the app worked as well as the website..Version: 2.1.24

The genuine Music loving appI love Bandcamp because it allows for high quality downloads (a must) and has so many good interesting new bands and artists in store ! Only downside: the scattered payments for each artist and currency when purchasing several tracks at the same time makes for too many bank charges. It’s the reason why I had to knock a star off my rating..Version: 2.1.10

Only decent music app on iPhoneIf it weren’t for the terrible way they handle merch sales, Bandcamp would be top dog across the board. Great for independent artists, great for looking for music to digest. I find it annoying that I have limited listens to individual albums unless I buy, but isn’t that kind of the point? Only downside is the lack of In-App music purchases. Physical releases? All day. Digital Download? Sorry, you got to use the website. Oh, and don’t forget the required PayPal account for any purchases..Version: 2.6.0

Easy way to add my purchases to my phoneI love that all my band camp purchases can be in one place. I have been using the app for about six months now and I haven’t experienced any glitches yet..Version: 2.5.3

BandcampA joy for those wishing to directly support bands and smaller record labels as well as getting their hands on great music, often on limited press..Version: 2.1.4

Awesome, could use some polishingI love this app because it allows me to support obscure artists, and allows me to broaden my collection and understanding of music. Aside from this, I feel like a few improvements could be done. The UI is a bit clunky, sometimes it scrolls all the way back to the top of the music feed, also I think accessing genres/sub-genres should be easier, maybe you could go to your profile and select the genre from your following list, or could have a separate icon for it. When you follow a lot of different genres your music feed tends to get a bit cluttered and it’s harder to seamlessly select what you feel like listening to, I feel like a grid system might be better? Overall happy with the app though I love using it..Version: 2.3.5

Really easy to useI’ve been using this app for a few years now. It gets regularly updated, but I can never see the difference. It’s always worked and it still does. The one thing I’d change? When tapping on purchase information it never gives you the digital album price. This would be helpful. I understand that Bandcamp/Apple won’t let you purchase and download. That’s okay with me. But I would like to see the digital cost all the same..Version: 2.1.8

ArtisticBandcamp has opened up a whole new performing artists for me. I am impressed by not just the music that these talented artists, but the visual perspective that is also woven into the fabric. My main port of call on Bandcamp is Jazz and all it’s genres. It’s good to know that these talented artists are composing and playing some of the most inspiring music out there..Version: 2.5.3

From NoFi to the NextFiBandcamp , All you all ROCK . Thank you for putting music first from wherever you can , you make it happen for music lovers on both sides of the camp !.Version: 2.1.2

Great place to find new tracks!Really good environment for finding new music! Would be even better if there was a way to shuffle through related artists tracks without having to keep clicking back out to the music feed and selecting another EP....Version: 2.1.8

Hoping for an iPad optimized versionThank you for running one of the best independent music stores..Version: 2.4.0

Almost perfectGreat app, the only thing it needs is the ability to sort by new arrivals (like the desktop version).Version: 2.1.3

Not functioning properlyI love the app but the latest version isn’t working properly on my iPhone. What’s going on?.Version: 2.4.8

Pretty much perfect so far. Just one little thing that would make a huge difference. If you’re able to, I’d like to be able to pay via my Apple account thing. It might be possible if you can open up payment via the app, which would be another pretty good quality of life feature. Other than that, I really like this app because it lets me support artists..Version: 2.4.9

Great app, but…I love this app. I love the fact I can get lossless downloads and support artists with more of the purchase going into their pockets. There is an issue with performance within the app. It appears the buffering is set relatively low in comparison with other apps. I’ll start listening to something and head down my drive into dead cell area. Where other apps continue working for the next 1-2 miles Bandcamp will cease streaming. Pls increase buffering to allow for streaming in areas such as this for longer periods..Version: 2.4.9

Love itEveryday better upgrades, now you can download your music on your device to use offline and make playlists too, they making so well..Version: 3.0.0

Love BandcampBut why do links from artists messages take me to my web browser instead of just redirecting me in-app?.Version: 2.5.3

EnjoyHow can you not love Bandcamp - it allows you to support local artists..Version: 2.3.8

Please add a basket!I love this app and have done for years, my review would be 5stars if they would make an add to basket feature so that when I’m browsing the app I could bundle things as I go rather than having to switch to a browser..Version: 2.3.5

YesProbably one of my favorite apps!.Version: 3.0.1

A great app butThis is a really good app but it lacks the full Discover options that you get on the computer web version. This makes it really difficult to find the brand new stuff that isn’t already popular which, in my opinion, is what bandcamp is all about. If they update to full features this app would be perfect..Version: 2.1.18

Support Artists not korporationsIf music is important to you, more than just radio background noise, think about supporting the artists as directly as possible. Streaming services (including CrAppel music and Twahtify) literally Pay artists close to nothing. Purchasing a $10 album on EyeToonz pays the artist about $0.99. Bandcamp pays artists 85% of digital sales and 90% of physical merchandise sales. If you can afford to rent movies and buy crap from Starducks, think about paying the artists you love so they can keep making what you like \,,/.Version: 2.1.4

Access grantedTo musicians from many cultures and styles with enough smart features to pass hundreds of hours.Version: 2.1.2

SHUFFLE!?!?!?!??Honestly, I’ve spent so much money on bandcamp. My entire life soundtrack is on there and I use this all day everyday. I absolutely LOVED the new update but, why… why on earth would we take out the shuffle all feature? There’s so many things in my collection, that being able to shuffle through all music helps me re-find past favorites… instead of building out an entire queue for like… a long drive for instance. That’s way too much effort!!! 4 stars until we get the shuffle all feature back :( This is also my first review ever on the App Store and I wanna make sure you guys know that I love what you do.. you’ve made my life what it is today by giving me access to millions of independent artists! Music is huge to me.Version: 2.5.2

Perfect for finding new musicBandcamp is a great way of supporting your favourite artists and label by donating and building a digital collection of your favourite music. It’s also a great place to discover new music you’re interested in and even purchasing physical forms of the albums you love.Version: 2.1.4

Wonders for starving and supporting artistsBandcamp has an immense amount of music. Any type of music by any type of person. It’s all wonderful to listen to. Plus, it makes it easier to be able to listen to music from one of my family members, whose dream it’s been to create music. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for new music that’s under appreciated or you want to support artists that aren’t as above ground..Version: 2.1.19

Update works brilliantlyI had only ever used bandcamp from its website previously because the app really didn’t stand up to the same quality, but the reworking and redesign of it has totally fixed that, I exclusively use the app now. Keep doing what you’re doing!.Version: 2.1.10

Playlists! thank you. more artists?I love your app. Thank you for playlists. This will be a game changer. Can you add more artists like e.g. Florence + The Machine, Patrick Wolf…?.Version: 3.0.0

Love (with suggestions to help)Bandcamp is a phenomenal source of music. I say this both as an avid listener and creator, the app is phenomenal and my only suggestion for improvement is by adding a digital purchase button right after you add it too your wish list. So many times I have thought to myself “I want to support this artist” but have to come back to the album 3 times before you prompt me with the “💔”. Give us the chose to directly support the artists we love on the spot, not via third party internet browsers or desktops. Nothing but love for the curators, community, and especially the musicians..Version: 2.2.2

Love it, but...Really good - incredible, even - but i’d do just about anything for a “download/sync all” button for my collection. Anything! The self-respect i’d abandon for his feature is honestly shocking. Since getting my new phone, the prospect of having to play back every record one-by-one is pretty unappealinng. C’monnnn, etc. Please?.Version: 2.1.2

App’ crashI enjoy using the app. I really enjoy the weekly radio casts. Unfortunately, the latest app update either won’t load the weekly radio cast, or crashes after a while or when I attempt to view information on the artist I’m listening to. If by chance I do happen to load the page to select a new episode. It flips back to the previous episode. I use an iPhone 6s with the iOS 12.4.1. The app worked fine a few days ago on the previous version of the app..Version: 2.5.0

Great music, great quality, and fairBandcamp is truly the best platform out there for discovering new music and being able to download the highest quality audio files possible for each release. They aren’t bound to the same limitations that major digital retailers are. Allows you to browse music based on specific tags, and overall a very good experience for finding new artists and exploring different subgenres. Furthermore, Bandcamp are currently the leaders with being fair to artists. Their sales cut is very reasonable and far below the competition, and they pay artists instantly upon each purchase, unlike major online retailers. Hopefully Bandcamp continues this business model, and only improves from here..Version: 3.0.0

Good could be betterA sync option to automatically cache all music would be good. Good app though and nice presentation.Version: 1.9

Pay the artistI’m glad the artist gets most of the money due to them for all the hard work and passion that took to produce their art, art they so generously share with the world..Version: 3.1.0

Needs “Open in App” optionI know nothing about developing, but when I click on a reddit link in any app such as Safari or instagram, the option to “open in reddit app” appears. I click lots of bandcamp links on instagram and this would save the hassle of switching apps and having to hunt down whatever artist or label you are looking for so you can add it to your wishlist or purchase..Version: 2.4.1

The best way to buy music and support artistsIf you want your favourite artists to continue writing music for you then support them don’t stream. Buy music you really like from Bandcamp. Most of the money goes to the artist..Version: 2.1.8

For all your musical needsYou enjoy buying music in all it’s formats. You welcome the chance to interact with the artists who’s music you love. Then Bandcamp is the site for you. You can browse, add to your collection and create a wish list. The site is excellent and very very informative, whatever your genre. Thank you Bandcamp. My music vista has certainly been widened..Version: 2.1.4

Great app for underground musicYou can find a ton of great music. But I think the user interface can be updated a tad bc the current format if you have a lot of music in ur wishlist or purchases it takes awhile to scroll through. Also dark theme would be appreciated. Should also add a search feature for the artists that you follow so you don’t have to scroll to find a particular artist page. Also the app doesn’t allow you to scroll through all the artists you follow, I can only do that on the website..Version: 2.5.2

No CarPlay Functionality or iPad VersionIt’d be great if you could provide a CarPlay app and an iPad version. I really love the iOS app, but I find myself only really listening to songs on BandCamp when I’m either using my iPad or I’m driving around. So in it’s current state, this app is actually pretty useless to me. With those to functions, though, I’d use BandCamp more for listening instead of just discovering bands or purchasing content..Version: 2.4.5

Great that you can now downloadThis has always been one of the best ways to support artists. Great that you can now download to the app..Version: 2.4.6

Almost 5 starsI say almost 5 only cuz there’s no repeat 🔁 🔂 or shuffle 🔀 options which is a down step from other music browsing apps other then that great library so far.Version: 2.5.2

Great on iPhone not on iPad.The app works great on the iPhone, I have no issues there. However on the iPad (at least the 9.7 Pro in my case) it does not display full screen and does not work in landscape. This really needs to change in the next update or at least make a separate version for iPad users..Version: 2.1.4

The place to go to discover new musicWhat sets this apart from other music platforms is it’s constantly showing you new music and not just hyping up a select few. The music here is so fresh and different unlike the stale stuff you find on Soundcloud..Version: 2.1.18

IssuesMusic great but quite frustrating that the app doesn’t work with iPhones well or even give an alternative option to cast to other devices (in my experience & awareness so far) eg playing on google speakers via Google Home.Version: 3.0.1

Overall a pretty good appBut what happened to the banners in the wish list telling you if something was a preorder ? That was handy, as I don’t want to spend time looking at every album, trying to find out if it’s been released yet..Version: 2.1.8

Best Music App/ServiceI have found so many amazing artists through Bandcamp.Version: 2.4.5

Great AppAll round excellent design, useful for keeping track of purchases, good for supporting smaller artists. All round well built service..Version: 2.0.4

AwesomeEasy to use and good sounds.Version: 2.0.6
