✓ Losing interestI use to love playing this game. It was challenging but you could get through the levels. Now, unless you buy multiple extras you can't get through. I'm quickly losing interest and may delete this game entirely. Not impressed.Version: 3.10

Their algorithm makes sure you will pay much more than most games in this genre to move forward to other levels. You have to pay to enter one if two tournaments and you don't get the lives you've paid for - just the ability to play thf tournament with your next 2 lives. ✓ Really Enjoyable but $$$I’ve been playing this game for years. I keep coming back to it because it’s unique and not like every other match 3 game. But because it’s been around so long, not many people play it anymore. They’ve moved on to the next best thing. I’ve had to start paying to unlock levels. Paying $1 for every 30 or so levels (the average amount in one land) can add up. Also, the levels get so hard that I’ll be stuck on one for weeks (literally has happened several times). There’s no way that I’d be able to get all 3 stars in the previous land to unlock the next one anymore. So with 3 stars on every level in a land impossible to get and no friends playing anymore, the only way to proceed is to pay. I wish they would let us upgrade to “premium” and have all lands unlocked for one fee or maybe pay $1 to unlock 10 lands. I would never pay $1 for an app that only has 30 levels you could play and that’s basically what the developers are doing here. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to keep playing because it will eventually add up to too much, which is unfortunate because I’ve been playing this game as long as it has been around and I really do love it. Also, it has started being buggy for me since the most recent IOS update. It’s quits sometimes when I try to access the App Store and always when I run out of lives. ✓ Customer Dis-serviceUPDATE: Do not pay this company for upgrades! I am forming a player’s union. They need to fix the tournaments if they want our $$$. They do not respect their customers. I feel bad for customer service folks because they can’t say or change anything and likely get a lot of angry emails. I hope they are paid well! I’ve been swapping daily messages with customer service for a month or two over game issues and have had no luck in getting my problem resolved. Also, no progress report or detail on whether others have this problem. They are more secretive than the CIA. What’s worse, I then get an auto-response saying “We’re glad we fixed your problem—closing the ticket” or something of that nature if I don’t respond w/I 24 hours! The reps assure me I can ignore that message because “the team” is working hard on fixing the problem, and add that they cannot tell me when it will be fixed and thank me for my “continued patience.”.Version: 3.14

✓ Don't spend money on this: has bugs that "eat" purchasesI do not recommend spending *any* money on this game. They do not honour purchases. The game has a history of bugs that "just happen" to use up or remove purchases, and these bugs are never fixed, despite many requests. Check other reviews for more evidence of this. An example: I made a purchase in order to remove ads, as the game advised would happen... and within a very short while of my purchase, a new update came out, and the ads were back again: *even more* ads than before. Not happy. When i reported this, they said they were working on a fix.... But it's now many months later, and neither this issue nor any other similar ones have been fixed. I'm really starting to doubt the honesty of the devs. The devs *really* need to work on sorting out glitches with disappearing purchases if they want players to be willing to spend money and continue with the game..Version: 3.7

✓ It gets boringThe problem with Disco Bees is that although each game is fun and often challenging, unless a lot of your friends play it, you have to get gold standard on every game to complete a level. Sometimes games are impossible. I’ve completed levels with only a third of the available moves and stil it’s not been enough to get a gold rating. Other games like COOKIE JAM give your tools and moves from time to time. Every other game I play just requires you to complete a game successfully to move on. The problem like now is I’ve completed all the games on a level months ago but I have to keep playing three over and over to try to get gold. ✓ Improvements to what, no new hivesIt has been 3 years since you have released a new hive. I am pretty certain that I have funded at least one developer to do nothing in 3 years. I am through playing this game. I guess you will have to fire that developer for doing nothing over the past 3 years, because you won’t get another dime from me. ✓ Love this game but....I love playing but it has a tendency to get hung up saying that you are not connected to Facebook or to the App Store and you cannot purchase extra moves if you want to. That is good since I don’t spend money on this game but I do end up for long periods of time on one game and become easily frustrated with it and quit playing it for a while. Otherwise I really do love this game..Version: 3.11
✓ Endless crashesFun game but has taken money without crediting games, I never get the prizes I've been awarded for the regular challenges and to top that it nearly always crashes at least once on each occasion I visit app Don't know why I bother - must be more addictive than I realised..Version: 3.10
✓ Disappearing starsHello. So I see there is now two tournaments and half the time there is only a tournament for 3 stars per play. Twice I've logged in and somehow it says I have 3 stars so I try to play that tournament and low and behold it says I need one more star. It takes my 3 stars away even though I couldn't use them! This glitch needs to be fixed please..Version: 3.5.7
