✓ Horrendous ControlsOverall for a free skating game, it is very fun and great quality. However after playing the paid “True Skate” game, this is so fiddley and the controls are horrible. It is often so hard to get good combos without randomly aimbotting onto a rail that was metres away, or sometimes not even get onto them at all when you are centimetres away. I simply dislike the way the camera moves with the board and the controls where you have to do the trick before going into the air is so weird for me. Unfortunately, I would recommend True Skate if you have the money because I found it so much more enjoyable.Version: 2.0.0

✓ DO NOT PLAY THIS GAMEMost of the functions don’t work, you can’t do a power slide when it says you can, and all the other levels are just money grabs. Why can’t you buy a level with currency. See, stupid. Plus, the game may have no ads but that’s because it’s pay to win completely. It may look like it’s free but it’s just not. Maybe if you added currency to the stupid game, it’d be more fun than just doing challenges for no reason and doing stunts for nothing!!! Plus, the doesnt even have proper physics. I would go up a ramp and wouldn glitch through and lose a line. Plus, there is no lesson to dark slide even though it’s a challenge. I advise everyone, do not play this game, it is a scam and a boring game. The only reason I’m giving one is because I can’t give zero. ✓ Way too glitchy and way too priceyThis game is way to glitchy i try to do a trick and i get thrown to the other side of the map. When i try to do a kick flip it will not let me do it near a rail or when you try to get it to do a Ollie Or just to have get on to a rail it won’t even do it. Now there’s also the board not wanting to move all the time or turn either it would start doing a random trick that i didn’t even try to do like in the first one they had you had to use finger to push the skateboard and that was better. And that’s not the only issue with the game you have to pay for almost everything except for one map and some boards. The only good thing is that it has good graphics, and i haven’t had to deal with ads everything else is trash and garbage and needs to be tweaked and tuned. The first one was a lot better. But very good concept but needs a lot of work and a lot of issues. I would give it 5 stars but the bugs and glitches cause it to be 2 stars..Version: 2.0.2

I purchased the app when it had first come out and decided to re-download it and was shocked to see that all of my progress had been reset and I could only play one map. However I do like that it somewhat guesses what you want to do. It’s because when I got to the combos it would glitch out when I tried myself but only sometimes it would work. I skate regular but my brother skated goofy, regardless you should be able to switch stances as I heelflip instead of kickfliping and it would feel far more comfortable for me if my laser flips were tre flips. ✓ Touch grind skate 2I love this game so much I have been playing it for ages! I just think you should make the skateparks free. Maybe when you get to a certain level you could unlock a skatepark. Also when you train to learn new tricks you should update it. So when you have learnt all those tricks it went onto harder tricks to learn. ✓ Bugs! But still funThis game is still a very fun game but the amount of bugs I am incountering is insane. NO CLIPPING: I can’t keep a normal line without clipping through the floor or just spazzing out. RAMPS: also ramps are a big problem, the larger the ramp the harder it is for the game to keep a decent camera angle, so you can barley see what is happening. Also with the maps that have indented ramps side by side the game pulls you to both ramps limiting your air time while also making the controls scuffed. CONTROLS: I swear the controls keep switching themselves, like pop shuvits just want to be hard flips, so doing a simple trick can mess up ur line. Also 1 final negative note is that the slightest bump on a flat surface will make you loose your line, I’ll be trying to grind a low wall or pole but the game just stacks it before I’m even in the air. Also grinding is a little scuffed, the game acts like I don’t want to grind the rail when I defenently used they correct controls to grind, so you just end up hiring the top of the rail and then bam, your line ended, like you recovered off the failed grind but it just ends your line. ✓ The games fun... but...This game is not bad, id have to say it compares heavily to true skate but i enjoy this better. HOWEVER the reason in giving this 2 stars is because im comparing it to the first touchgrind game. Touchgrind was actually a substantial part of my child believe it or not but i gotta say, this game is kind of a downgrade. The first touchgrind game had way better handling and control. It was more free control you could say, rather this game limits what you can do and how you do it because of its auto correction. Example; you cannot do a dark slide because the game thinks you bailed. Flipping the board is not nearly as easy because the game is set to “help” you not bail where all this does is hinder my ability to play with fluidity. Ill be honest, im not the best at explaining things but in conclusion, touchgrind 1 controlled more freely and allowed for easier and more fluid game play. Touchgrind 2 limits what you can do and how you do it so in my opinion, it’s definitely worth the 4.99 to get the first game. If its fun and easier to handle control you're looking for, touchgrind 1. But when I got my own Apple ID and family sharing disappeared, I didn’t want to have to pay for it again to download it so I didn’t. I played it on my dads phone as I could for free. When I saw it’s now free to purchase I was exited! But I saw I only have access to backyard :( the app used to cost £5 for all maps (up to docks) which were unlocked as u played the game. ✓ Coulda learnt a thing or two from true skateThe way to control the board is extremely floored and just doesn't work that well. Turning is horrible. I must say though that the maps are great. When riding transition the stalls don't fell natural, the game does it for you and even spins you strangely. Nollie tricks are very unresponsive.
