✓ Uniquely bad app platformUpdated review: why does this app delete all the alert notifications when you click on one? I haven’t found any other app that does this because it’s blindingly obviously stupid! Old review: This is about the app function not the content! The app is terrible which is why I use the web instead. Alert notifications don’t highlight any new news items. Scrolling without hitting an invisible ad is near impossible. ✓ Can’t log into Disqus to commentApproximately 2 weeks ago, I tried to post a comment via Disqus in the Comment section while using the Breitbart App. The App will not allow me to log in. FYI; I’ve been using the Breitbart App for years with no problems and my Disqus account is working fine on all other sites except Breitbart. I’ve sent 2 x messages to Breitbart concerning this issue, and received a short reply that “we are experiencing technical problems with some Disqus users”. ???.Version: 3.1.0

✓ Unusable because of pop-upsThe pop-up adverts make the app unusable. A new one today for Tindr. I did not expect to see pics like that on a News app. Almost impossible to use the back button to leave the pop-up - I have to quit the app and try again - usually unsuccessfully. And how many times do I have to win the free iPhone competition before I actually get one? The layout for news articles is very confusing. The BBC tried this sort of style on their News app. They soon gave up. Only a 3 year old would like the layout - and they would not understand the articles..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Breitbart Commies Censor UsersBB is run by a bunch of snowflake commies. Their censors are out of control and they’re absolutely no better that Twitter, Facebook, CNN, and the other fake news media. ✓ Needs paid-for ad-free version, pointless as isRecently the Breibart website has become unusable on my iPhone due to mega-invasive pop-ups that redirect users to the App Store and force them to download apps they have no interest in before they can read an article. I thought this app might improve the situation: I have no objection to ads - I even click through occasionally - but can't abide the screen-hijacking pop-ups that redirect my browser (and lose the original page unless I obey their request) I'd be quite happy to pay to subscribe to an ad-free version: Breitbart is a brilliant news service, worth paying for. What I don't have is the time to be forced to install - then uninstall - unwanted apps. So sorry Breitbart, but it's goodbye for now until you've cleaned up your ad-revenue strategy. ✓ What happened?Last update is pushing me off the ap and back to internet version. Use iPad to read every morning. Last few days the Home Screen jumps around, changing headline rows before I can visually scan what’s “trending”. Top story goes away as I SLOWLY scroll down to next row. ✓ Didn't think it could get worseIt's always not loaded comments initially (and sometimes crashed)...I have to click a few times to reload, with a fast connection and no other apps having a similar issue. But, now, the reply comments under any first comment are so far to the right, they are difficult to read. All of them! Not in an indented fashion first reply, further in subsequent replies... All but the first situate all the way on the right. ✓ Great information, but...The conservative news is great as expected. Having the ability to post comments to articles is also great. However, as of a few days ago, I’m unable to post comments to the articles. It doesn’t allow me to login to Disqus(the feature that enables posting, editing, and viewing of comments). ✓ AwfulAfter the latest update, the app became extremely buggy and didn’t work. I’ve reached out and contacted them many times but in two weeks it has not been updated or fixed. I’m not sure they’re actually listening. Anyway, after the update, the app is basically unusable. I am hoping they see this and take it to heart and fix it. It has just gotten worse. An update about a month ago broke the app to the point that opening a story freezes it. Since then there have been a few other updates but the problem persists. ✓ App Needs Serious HelpI would be happy to give five stars for the News presentation and content but the app is so bad I'm going to another source. In the app the entire time I'm trying to read the news the main page keeps flashing and re-ordering all the articles and I lose my place, it's beyond frustrating. ✓ #MakeBreitbartGreatAgainThis is an otherwise great app and I always read Breitbart Tech and Breitbart London. I love reading writers like Milo and Allum. But please for the love of God fix this app! I have had pop ups that literally come up every minute and that have no way of cancelling them. They always seem to direct me to websites that look like the best way of getting a virus. As of April 5th 2016 the app is unusable and useless. I now have to go and use the BBC (Biased Bulls*it Corporation) News app. If I have to pay for add free version I will be happy to do so. ✓ Great news source!This is a great source for factual information. However, the advertisements are incredibly touch sensitive. It is beyond aggravating to be scrolling through articles and suddenly be taken to another page because you accidentally touched an ad while scrolling. ✓ Can’t log in!Any and every time I try to log in to post a comment under one of BB’s articles, the whole thing just refreshes to the top of the page with me remaining NOT logged in. No matter how many times I try, the same thing keeps happening. While I rely on Breitbart for actual reliable news, I also like to be able to put in my two cents in the comments section sometimes. ✓ Snappy, but frustratingI prefer the performance of this app versus a web browser. But nearly every headline won’t fit in the allocated space in portrait mode. ✓ Good, But Not Without Issues.Breitbart in my experience has good resources and good journalism. Yes it is biased towards conservative ideology, but let me remind you that there is a big difference between being biased and being controlled. With that being said, the biggest problem I have with this app is that the news hardly gets updated. I still see things from last week or last month, unlike when I go to the Drudge Report app where I always get the newest information. After deleting and reinstalling I can load all the stories and “load more” many times like it used to. This has been going on since at least last iOS upgrade.
