✓ How I get the local news!!I don’t like watching the news around my boys anymore. I don’t want them worried about things they are too young to even think about so I watch it on my phone via the WHIO app. I really like it except in the mornings if you use the listen button you get the radio station instead of the news that is on tv. The one I see most of the time and fairly often is that it’ll be either a broken link, which is rare or most likely the wrong link to the story, that is it links, but to a different story. ✓ Very dated contentIt’s February and one story is headlined “Springboro schools to go remote for 48 hours after Thanksgiving”! Stories in the school and sports section remain in the headlines for months while there is no mention of current events. The national/world news headlines often contain no mention of the top stories in the nation. Top headlines elsewhere: Trump impeachment trial begins today, Super Bowl, Myanmar, etc. Top headlines on WHIO : Sex offender caught in Louisiana, hacker stopped in Florida, member of Supremes has passed( that story is duplicated in the entertainment section). WHIO news is my Go-to on the television, but the app is a disappointment..Version: 8.2.0
