✓ Watermark on PAID Subscription and All Saved Videos LostHad this app for a few years now and all of a sudden my videos were downloading with the watermark even though I have a VIP subscription. I clicked “restore” a couple of times to be sure my account is up to date yet it was still thesame. The info indicated that if this happens, you should uninstall and reinstall, which is what I did and disappointedly all the videos that I saved through the years are no longer there!!!! Wondering how the app recognized my subscription status but doesn’t care to keep my contents as it is! I still have a few months on my PAID subscription for a service that was not provided I hope there’s a recourse for this. So so upset and disappointed..Version: 8.2.1

✓ Waste of Time & MoneyPurchased the lifetime subscription and started to work on a project video, wouldn’t allow me to use some features and just crashes when I try to select them. Also attempted to save the under 5minutes video I started in each of the available format options they had and again it just kept crashing. ✓ Waste of timeIt’s a bad product. All I wanted to do is edit videos on my phone. It sold itself as being capable of doing that. First it requires you sign in claiming that’s how they know we agree to the terms. It’s a lie because apps can ask you to agree to terms without signing in. Next thing to clip a video.. there was no way to pick the exact starting frame. The timeline cannot be zoomed there’s lack of precision. This made me want to give up. When I wanted to exit, it only gave me the option to save and exit. No option to exit without saving. So I wasn’t sure if it’s going to modify the original video. Then I couldn’t see if there’s an option to export the video to my device, only to share on their network. Don’t get this if all you want to do is edit videos on your phone. The video is 57 minutes and I do understand it will take much time to save but, I for a couple nights since the problem began occurring I just alllowed it to export over night and nothing happened. Either the phone will be blacked or the app would just say that the export failed. However, when I look at my drafts it says that the video is already exported. Also, when it is attempting to export the time continues to go up and down. I have also had times at night where I'd wake up in the middle of the night and the export will be at like only 25%. ✓ Pay to useOkay so when i was younger i used to use this app and now so much of the features are covered by a paywall. with the speedup feature you literally can’t keep it without unchanged tone because that feature is blocked behind a paywall. ✓ Not goodI’ve been using Viva Video for quite a while now and even paid for the VIP yearly membership for extra features and the likes. But for the past so many months the app has not been updating any new features and has been constantly crashing. Not sure why this is happening because it was working perfectly fine before it actually stopped uploading and working like it previously did. I have updated the app when it requires updating but still I’m experiencing problems. I’ve been using this app for over 3 years, i used to love it and thought it was an awesome app. It helped me learn how to edit basic videos and got pretty good. I bought the 5 dollar vip pack (the old one which was a one time payment, you know the one that you removed) to get the fullest out of the app (over 5 minute videos, no watermark, etc.) i continue using it on my iPod Touch. The updates have been great except for one change. I tried switching to my iPhone but now I don’t have the pack (both signed into the same account) I can’t make videos over 5 minutes and watermark is there. Heck, I would be willing to pay the five dollars for the same pack I had before but you removed it. Your free app has become the most anti-consumer product I’ve seen in a while. ✓ Brilliant app, but too slow/laggyI used this for years on a VIP yearly on my Samsung phone, but I put down the lag/constant slow videos down to the fact that Samsung is not the best type of phone. Samsung phones have always been fairly slow, even when you have a good 60% of free space. I now have an iPhone which I regularly free up space by putting photos and videos onto my computer. Currently, I have nearly 60gb of space left on my IPhone. I decided to go ahead and buy a lifetime VIP package (i love video editing and Viva video is extremely good). The reason I have only given 3 stars is because the lag is STILL an issue on IPhone. I’m actually very disappointed because my IPhone is full of space, is regularly cleaned and maintained well to ensue it works at full capacity. It’s very hard to edit a video when in the editor it freezes and doesn’t play things smoothly. This is not an issue with my phone, it’s an issue with the app that has existed for years. Viva video is an amazing app that I would recommend and it brilliant for professional video edits. But this issue really needs sorting because you can’t make good quality videos when you can’t playback smoothly..Version: 9.3.6

Also, some of the features also aren’t available as in you have to purchase more ie: VIP to access those but that’s not clear when you’re doing the free trial. ✓ Issue with subscriptionI too like many others on here have had an issue with saving my video which I have spent a long time on. After subscribing the app offers you a 3 day free trial then the monthly or annually subscription. During these 3 days the app should allow you to use all the functions on there. However, it will not let me save my videos and just asks me to subscribe. So I hit that but and it says I’m already subscribed. I spent HOURS creating a birthday slideshow for a friend, I finally finish and save it, & come back minutes later planning to then share my creation.... Only to find that over half of the media I had just uploaded, was no longer viewable and has an error message displayed in is it's place! More than frustrated, but still determined to do this, I start again. End up getting most of the pictures and videos back and in order again but fell asleep before completely finishing..... To later Wake up.... And another random half or so of my pictures are showing an error occurred. I contacted customer support who said to update the app and try again. ✓ New Format/Update Ruined Effects!!!It was a 5 star app before this new update. Everything’s changed. I can no longer drag on the bottom on how long I want an effect to last I have to split the clip individually into smaller clips to time the effect. And I don’t mean effects anymore because now they’re classified as “filters”. The “filters” I’m referencing are the ones such as Dizzy,quake, endless, etc. It makes timing beat drops with effects wayyy harder!! I don’t like the new layout it looks too close to imovie it was simpler to just have individual clips numbered. Plus there’s a little lag in the clips when you press play sometimes. Why on earth would you decide to remove the fast forward jump to the next video clip in favor of adding in a frame by frame movement instead?? 🤦🏻♀️ For people like myself who have multiple clips in one project, the amount of extra time that it now takes to make one edited video is INSANE. ✓ Bring back ability to Mute ALL clipsI’ve been using this app for a few years now and it’s gone through a lot of changes. Some are an improvement. Some I find really frustrating. There is a way to adjust the volume on your original video clip and a way to just mute it all together. Both used to offer the option to this clip or all clips now neither do.
