✓ Listen…Okay so I wrote a large complex review but it just got deleted- cry for me. Anyway my point is- On my phone I have lifetime vip but the storage on that is full, so I used my iPad (which I’m writing this review on) to edit the video with this app. I spent an hour editing a three minute video but I can’t export it. Y’know why? Because I don’t have vip on this device. The app added an 8 minute video onto the end of it, and I can’t delete it as the button doesn’t work and when I try to trim it, put the duration down or something it just resets or gets stuck saying ‘processing’… I’ve updated the app and it hasn’t changed anything- But this has only happened twice, and other than that this app is great. Endless variations of transitions, effects, stickers, gifs, editing tools etc. Would have been 5, if it weren’t for this recent goddam glitch. Idk the email for support, please reply. Kind Regards. ✓ Sorry sorry sorry great app !!!I wrote this review last week after updating. Had to get use to, its still actually good!!! Really good app guys! I think the only fix I would suggest is that you CAN record a video to start a new project BUT you cant enter the project after recording then re-record in the same project. If that makes sense. You only give the option to take videos from our personal photo library. Which makes me have to record on Snapchat, save videos, then edit on your platform; when everything should be done on your app..Version: 8.0.3
✓ Best video editing app out there!I’ve been looking for a app to make TV show or movie edits with my friends for fun and haven’t been able to find one that’s got what I’m looking for that doesn’t cost a lot. I found this as one of my friends recommended it and it’s perfect! It has a lot of options to choose from for free and then some for a fee which I can respect. It lets you trim and adjust the video, add music or voice overs (which I LOVE!), and has a bunch of options to enhance the videos by having it fade in and out certain ways etc. Which honesty I haven’t seen anywhere. My videos now look very professional even tho I’m using a free app. I’m now using one app for something I’ve been trying to accomplish with 3 and falling short. If your a person who wants to make those amazing edits you see on Instagram or TV, or just want something awesome to add to your videos, definitely give this app a try! ✓ Great app but doesn’t support dimensionsI love viva video! It is so simple to use and you can really make a great video using it. I especially love how it exports as MP4 instead of MOV! Would love to see: 1. BRING BACK ROTATE ALL / APPLY TO ALL when rotating a clip. I import multiple clips and it changes the rotation. If I change the canvas and rotate it how i want it, there is no option to rotate all the clips the same. Instead I’d have to do it one by one which; if there’s 35 clips that takes WAY too long!!! Please bring that back. 2. Make it so we can change the LENGTH of the transition. If I use cross fade, it cuts off the sound from the first clip wayyyy too early. I can never use cross fade if there’s spoken word for the last 5 seconds of the video. Even if it’s silent between the cut, it will start crossfading too early and you can’t change the length of the cross fade. On videoshop you can change the length of the transition and I love that. 3. ADD AN ADJUSTABLE SMOOTHING SKIN FILTER!!! Sometimes I don’t want to change the color or anything, sometimes all I want to do is smooth out my skin a little bit / make it more consistent. If you add an adjustable smoothing skin effect… this will be the PERFECT app. Just please don’t ever change that it exports to MP4 even if you’re importing as .MOV! ✓ BrilliantI love this app it’s easy to make custom edits but the problem with it is when I want to share my own music from Dropbox and other apps, VIVA VIDEO doesn’t show up in the list of things I can share it to which is a shame but other than that it’s fully recommended and really easy to use for editing.Version: 8.8.5

✓ It used to be better...I’ve used this app for over 3 years now and it was so awesome and very convenient and now with the updates its just a tiny bit more confusing now and when I edit my videos I try to merge my clips together but when I press next it just freezes the whole app and it has done that millions of times now and it’s getting pretty frustrating and annoying even when I select one clip and click next the whole app freezes again and I’m getting tired of it. I rate this app a 4 star because it is a really good app for real but the app freezes a lot..Version: 7.1.6
✓ Doesn't require much skill but can be glitchyI'm not super tech/video savvy, and this app has been super easy to use. I do find it gets quite glitchy on the phone and can be quite annoying when you're spending considerable time making a video. I've also had a few occasions where it's totally messed up text for no rhyme or reason and have had to delete and redo it all. ✓ Pretty good but can improveI love using this app to edit my videos. My only dislike about it, i can’t undo things. There should be an “undo” button. Sometimes when i split my clips up, i might accidently delete a split clip that i didnt want to delete, so theres no going back from there unless i delete the whole thing and start all over again. If there was an “undo” button, if i accidently delete a clip, i can hit the “undo” and it was basically go back in time and bring the clip back. Hope this can get added to the app. And the “undo” button can be used as much as need, can undo all the way back to the beginning if needed. ✓ Great but glitchesThere are a few glitches, some more irritating than others. A small glitch is the occasional crashing of the app, this only happens occasionally for me but when it does it tends to happen multiple times. Another glitch that’s more of a problem is microphone audio from screen recordings not transferring onto the app despite being in the original video, this occurs rarely but is extremely difficult to work around. Otherwise the software’s great and the subscription is reasonably priced..Version: 8.4.8

✓ Issue with the Exportation of Videos.This is an amazing app that I have been using for almost 2 years now. The features are amazing, I would definitely recommend it to people who are wanting to film clips and videos professionally. The only fault to this application is simply that you have to pay to export (save the video) to your camera roll. In addition, you cannot even transfer it via USB!?! How are users supposed to save or upload their videos? You have to pay to do so, which I believe is utterly ridiculous. At least “iMovie” allows you to complete this action. As a 13 year old, I love making videos, but cannot even save them. On the whole, this app is very good and I do recommend it to users. -Ella.Version: 8.5.8

✓ Uhh this has been my go to editing appSo I was downloading almost every video editing app on the AppStore and a lot of them came with free trials just like this one did. I tried just about all of them. Even the “professional polished” looking apps that charge more for pretty much the exact same thing that you can do on here. I purchased the year VIP subscription and I don’t regret it. I use several other apps in conjunction with VivaVideo. The things you can do if you try to learn them, are pretty awesome. There are some limitations when it comes to using it on your phone but partially due to the screen size but once I have my iPad running this app, I have a lot of fun and the effects are super cool. I’d like to see more of them added. And maybe some video filters that have mirroring or even a kaleidoscope view! I’d like a better way of adding or finding music to add to the clips but it’s not at all bad in the stage it’s in now. ✓ I love this appThis app is what I make all edits on. It makes it incredibly easy and less frustrating than most apps. However what I can’t find in any of these editing apps are really good transitions. Viva video did recently update and add some which made me really happy because I make edits for like tv shows and stuff and I like to have a broad choice of transitions and themes. So I’d really like if the transitions will continue to be updated and i would also like if on the themes I can take out any pop up words that I don’t like. I recently repurchased this app, but I have been having difficulty accessing photos and videos to the editing platform. I will tap on the my chosen photo, and nothing will happen. I then reread the instructions at the bottom and hold down on my chosen photo/video, and yet still nothing happens. I try reloading it but it still doesn’t work. There's hundreds of features, you just have to explore the app. This is my main app for editing since the others are not as good. I just have a suggestion. ✓ Constantly freezesThe app is very nice in reality. Has lots of functions and templates however with this new update it is really messed up, especially the edit and cut and delete functions. They removed the cut and made it a “trim cut” which is useless. Have to click on the cut, then it will “trim cut” highlight the section, then cab cut, previously could easily be done with one push, now 3!!! In order to delete one has to grab, drag and drop the section to delete which is a serious hassle for small sections. Before could easily just push the trash can..Version: 9.0.1
✓ Good app but...I downloaded the app recently and it was pretty fun and I was able to make videos. The downside was that there was many ads, had to pay/ become vip, in order to get all the cool templates and effects. That is really annoying. Some people don’t have that type of money. I will still use the app, but just saying, when you download this app, there will be tons of ads. To add, THERE IS NO REASON TO HAVE A TIME LIMIT. I still don’t understand why you make a time limit. It’s no fair. Some people like me love making videos longer than 5 minutes, but on this app it has a time limit. No other app has that. And I don’t want an app that has me pay for all the good things. Also, every time my videos were exported, AN AD POPS UP. I don’t like that. It’s like my photo app has to help me put all my videos together, and this one just helps me make the video from my screenshots. It’s a good app, but there are things that need to be taken down. ✓ Best video editorIt’s simple, there is no better video editor than VivaVideo. I have used this almost 2 years. I have a subscription for pretty much every top rated video editor for the last 2 or 3 years. In that time VivaVideo has just got better and better, easier to use and better maintained. The new smooth slow motion feature is amazing along with freeze motion. VivaVideo transitions are a lot better than other video editors, and they also have a big range of filters. The template section is awesome for anyone that wants to create easy and effective TikTok videos or Instagram reels. A few other video editors have the same thing, but VivaVideo templates and just a lot easier to work with! Don’t bother reading pointless reviews of anyone saying this video editor is a scam, or the subscription is to expensive. Frankly I am sick of reading such pointless reviews, and fake reviews on other video editors. All video editors are around the same price and I have never been scammed by any of them. If I could point out anything or request anything in VivaVideo, it would have to be rain, water and fire effects. Sometimes I have to go through 2 other apps before coming back to VivaVideo to finish my work. Give VivaVideo ago, it’s just a lot more easier to use than others. ✓ I love viva video but why is there a 5 min time limitI like viva video. I’m only nine and I can already edit videos! The only problem is you have to pay for over a 5 min video. I think you shouldn’t. At sleepovers we make little clips. When we make bigger videos though, we cannot do it very well because there is a time limit. I know you can edit and remove clips but sometimes, I like to keep all the clips I make. In your next update, please remove the time limit. ✓ Turn Back The Dynamic Effect Into a FXI’ve had the app for years and stuff and I remember back last year I was able to use the Sci-fi (Aka called the Dynamic Filter now under Effects) into a FX animation, I would really appreciate it if you could bring that back, it’s much more difficult having to crop a certain part of the video and then add a dynamic filter rather than just being able to control it at your own time and adding it for a certain time, I hope you could please bring this back, other than that everything works great, there’s no problems I run into and sorry for that long run on sentence, thank you, please bring it back..Version: 8.1.3

Lots of effects, music and text styles come with the app. I’ve had a VIP membership on if for around 3 years and don’t regret it at all. HOWEVER. It’s lags A LOT. I have an new IPhone XR so it isn’t my phone causing it to lag. For instance, *Sometimes randomly shuts down making you have to go back and edit again *Sometimes adding background music messes up your original audio *Sorting through clips and organising them can make the app slow These do bug me as I always encounter an issue like this when editing and it gets frustrating. All of the features are hidden within the app so you need to experiment and look around to find all the tools. This app however is amazing once you know how to work it. ✓ JUST THE BEST!!I downloaded the app to edit(I thought it was going to be really confusing and all over the place) but it’s great!! You can do so many cool things. Such as make your own edits, It’s even better because when you make it from a template you add the picture and edit the movement and which pictures go first and the filters and everything!!!! I don’t understand why VivaVideo has a time limit? When I make great videos that are longer than 5 mins it tells me to trim it down or to take off the time limit.
