The Elements in Action for Positive User Reviews

ExcellentVery informative and well done. Recommended for students and teachers..Version: 1.0.2

InterestingWorth a flick through.Version: 1.0.2

Pretty goodThis app has worked well. While I would appreciate a little more information, the videos are pretty cool and provide a great general picture. I would definitely recommend this app..Version: 1.0.2

Amazing AppThis app is just videos and that is no bad thing. I can watch the experiments our chemistry teacher did at school whenever I wish. It also works with The Elements app so I can find out more about each element..Version: 1.0.3

Great app...butThis app is wonderful and by an amazing author that got me interested in chemistry. The only complaint that I could find was that some elements don't have reactions such as iridium #77 and some of them aren't particularly exciting such as calcium #20> other than that 100% chemistry nerd approved!.Version: 1.0.7

Hey kidDude they are blocked out because they either exist for seconds or illegal to own! Great app.Version: 1.0.1

AwesomeI love it.Version: 1.2.0

Good overallInteresting app worth the money overall. I do think it could do with some more features though, like an actual periodic table (the one in the app isn't true to scale) and the ability to enlarge the static pictures of the elements that rotate in the top corner. It's clearly a polished app but I was disappointed by some of the videos, which looked quite amateur. Finally, anyone expecting the videos to show chemical reactions will be disappointed. A few show reactions but most are just videos of cutting the metal with pliers, or using a meter to test radioactivity. None of the videos for the most reactive metals, like caesium and francium, show reactions..Version: 1.0.1

Yeah!Great app!.Version: 1.0.1

Buy nothing but this oneThis is the most fully rounded, interesting app about the elements. The others might be useful to a scientist, but they are NOT for public consumption. Don't waste your money. This one covers all the important bases that the others want you to pay for. This one has the miniature spinning element. It has real life interaction. It is just the best. I'm giving it four stars because the other apps by Theodore gray are so deceptive..Version: 1.0.6

Super coolI think I learned more in 20 mins with this app then in all of my science classes in high school. Missing a few of the elements they seem to be greyed out but im sure theyll fix that up in no time..Version: 1.0.1

CoolVery cool app, would like to see more videos.Version: 1.0.1

😝Awesome app!.Version: 1.0.5

Cool appThe Elements in Action is the periodic table come to life. It describes and displays the characteristic properties of each element in a live video. This app takes full advantage of the iPads abilities, and it is very impressive from not only an information viewpoint, but graphically also. Not all elements are displayed however, and I hope to see them mentioned in future updates. Paired with its sister app "The Elements" - the two together are phenomenal. There are unsecured links to the app store, but I would recommend this for older kids who love natural sciences. I am downgrading 1 star due to the app being incomplete at this writing..Version: 1.0.2

Well worth the priceThis app is beautifully designed. There are videos for many elements on the periodic table, not just common ones like carbon and aluminum. Watch a pure alkali metal explode in water, a lead ball float in a bowl of mercury and francium oxidize before your eyes. Educational and fun..Version: 1.0.1

Simply fascinating!Learn how to stick it to Big Salt and make ur own at home!.Version: 1.0.2

All round good appHelpful if you want to find out more about the periodic table well worth the money.Version: 1.0.2

BrilliantFantastic companion app for Elements.Version: 1.0.4

Great element app! This app is great for studying elements and has awesome videos of them reacting to other stuff. It would be nice if you made a way to enlarge the actual element photo and look at it in three d like your other app. But this app is a must have for people who like explosions and the science behind it!😜.Version: 1.0.1

Maybe it’s the nostalgia takingThe demonstrations can be better and more plentiful, I had a teacher who did one a day and they were amazing..Version: 1.2.0

Amazing reference toolHas multiple pages of information on all the elements, beautiful pictures and reference images. Excellent tool to use for educational purposes, teaching, etc. Is expensive, so has few reviews. Has few reviews, so no one buys it I guess. Catch 22..Version: 1.0.7

Bravo!!Très très belle application. Il y a longtemps que je n'avais pas vue une application aussi intéressante et captivante. Bravo!.Version: 1.0.1

Nice appAnyone complaining about the lack of videos (there are 72), only 92 of the elements in the periodic table are found in nature. And so the missing elements are either inert and therefore boring, radioactive and dangerous, or man-made and incredibly expensive. I suspect the missing elements wouldn’t make for very interesting videos..Version: 1.0.1

My favourite appEssential for Chemistry teachers!! Short videos and demos to show students the wonderful world of Chemistry. Well worth the money! I use this all the time with seniors and juniors..Version: 1.0.6

Cool AppI'm glad someone finally did that. I say it's every bit worth it's money. Excellent job on the app..Version: 1.0.1
