✓ GAME WONT LOADI have been playing this for a few weeks now and I’m in love with it. For some reason my app won’t fully load.. it gets to the colorful new updated loading screen and doesn’t load past 0% no matter how long I wait. I’ve tried to open the app several times since last night and it simply won’t open.. and yes I have tried turning my phone off and on again a few times... on another note, I have a few suggestions on improving this app.. first of all, many of the censors are extremely sensitive to even words that are not bad at all. For example, I have typed a single letter by itself in the past and it was censored. Next, many of my dances and poses are in multiples now since the new update. I have three infinite ommmm, etc... and they all perform something different or act strange. This may be something to look into fixing.. Lastly, my messages and notifications pile up extremely fast. If there was a way you could add a ‘delete all’ button to the messages or an unread section so that we can clear out all of our previous messages or unread mail, that would be amazing. I have met many people with 100+ messages who don't have the time to go through every single one and delete it. Overall I love this app. I just wish I could get past the loading screen...Version: 1.19.0
✓ Great game, But be careful PLZ READAvakin Life is a fantastic game for not just role plays but meeting people and chatting with friends. I strongly suggest adding a chat filter so those that want to can’t swear or say anything inappropriate, maybe not including numbers cause they can be used to tell real life friends how much cash u have and stuff. Also I think it would be a great addition if you could add an NPC mode where you could enter and exit A world with NPC’s, Then also the game would be safer for younger kids if they don’t read the age recommendation , other that that I have nothing to say but you could add an age check when you first open the app so if your under the limit you’ll automatically be entered into the NPC world.Version: 1.21.10

✓ DisappointedI’m not happy about this app!!! in the last few days a lot of people have lost their accounts for saying ‘Noodles’ like what the actually hell. Noodles is a food, nothing more!!!! instead of banning people for using the word ‘Noodles’, ban the ones who are constantly at you for gifts, the underage (as it says 13+ but there are 9 years old on it) the trouble makers, etc etc. this app is going down hill fast and your defo loosing loyal players!!! i thought it was an adults game but hell NO kids are on it!!! ✓ Great game with some issues1. I love the game a lot but there is the major issue of everything being so overpriced and how difficult it is to actually make that money in the first place, considering the fact that people would rather not spend real money on a game makes it impossibly hard to buy anything you may want. 2. I also think you should add in more possibilities to the game to make it more interesting as in: more jobs and making certain pieces of furniture such as the gaming table interactive. 3. You could also add life events as the game is called Avakin ‘life’. for example relationship milestones and maybe even pregnancy. To expand on the relationship milestones idea you could have things such as first kiss, first date and other things as well. 4. As much as the game is entertaining there isn’t really a point to it and I understand it’s purely for Enjoyment but I find it kind of hard to enjoy a game that doesn’t have a specific point to it that’s why I suggested the relationship milestones idea and pregnancy. 5. Another suggestion for the game would be to extend the age restriction although you have censored certain words you still include provocative clothing and some not a child friendly dance moves/actions..Version: 1.32.4
✓ ReviewWell avakin life is an amazing app with making new friends and living the life you always dreamed from amazing appartments to stylish clothes and hairs. This was my first thought but sadly I was deeply upset when the started to take advantage of there customers by bumping up how much things cost to a stupid amount for example a cruise ship on avakin cost 99’99 that’s a £100 in real money and even a plane which is £400’000 it’s disgusting on how much avakin can charge and rarther then the game being for everyone they seem to categorise every player in to three sections the people that are poor , the people that can just afford and the people who are rich it’s disgusting to see a once amazing game take the role of the real world destroying people’s dreams, and even the customer service is terrible there rude and horrible and even condescending to their players blaming them for the problem instead of sorting it out and even blocking people just because there getting upset with getting help whatsoever but their attitude is disgusting and your almost pushed under the rug..Version: 1.21.3
✓ The issue with crownsDon’t get me wrong the game is good it’s an opportunity for people to socialise and meet new people globally also giving an individual an opportunity to express themselves through style & fashion however this game is hugely let down by the situation with the newly introduce currency which is crowns, Yes some people may not have a problem with this such as grown adults as they are able to buy things like crown bundles but I know a lot of people who don’t want to spend their money on this game and making everything new that is released e.g clothes (Especially) houses and dances etc is just causing you to lose players as they can’t buy or experience anything new. This issue does need to be dealt with cause it is very irritating for me and others it’s always very nice clothes or sets as well that are made for crowns and it becomes very irritating. I’m not saying get rid of crowns but at least keep a balanced proportion between what is for coins and what is for crowns cause all I ever see is crowns after crowns not avacoins..Version: 1.76.0

✓ BombBae748So when I first heard about this game I was so excited, me I LOVE the Sims and this to me sounded like the Sims on steroids. But i was sadly mistaken. I don't play this game to interact cause everyone I've come across so far has been weird, not on my level, or just boring so I keep myself to myself, and finesse my homes I've had so much fun shopping and decorating but soon asked myself what was the point in any of it because noting except the chairs and the stereos are interactive, I do love that I can chill out and rock to any type of music that I love via the home stereos there is deffo something for everyone which is cool, and if your into it you can play music from your playlist via Apple Music but I'm good with the free one. Working is a waste of time the Tap Joy promotions has eliminated that process for me which is great (I sign up and then cancel) it's bonus having so many home cause for drinks I just use my Diamonds but apart from that after nearly 2months of playing I'm not impressed..Version: 1.20.3
✓ New Crown ReleaseEver since Crowns came out, the whole Avakin Community has been a mess. People always complain on how everything is expensive to buy and I agree. And Now I hear Avakin is making every new release crown currency!? It’s bad enough people have to pay 10$ for 250 crowns! They make every crown release expensive and when we buy a low amount of crowns, it will just be gone in a second! People can’t afford to buy crowns on a daily basis. And the fact they keep making the same animations but a slight change. I won’t buy another one when I already have one that looks similar. I wish the Crown Release never came out in the first place, and Avakin calling it exclusive? Some of those items have been in the shop but were removed and put up for crowns! Seriously. Coins were the top star and now it’s been awhile since we had a coin release. Crowns/ Exclusive Release was the Ikon Brand. I remember when everything was so much fun! I miss working for hours, trying to get more avacoins for the new Ikon dresses. But now, It’s just not like it was. This game has changed so much, People hardly talk In servers. They sit there and stare at their screen for hours. Because we have nothing better to do in this game, And Avakin doesnt gives us cool events like they used to! ✓ Good and badAvikin life is an overal great game to play and everything seems to be working so far on my game play. Although there is a downside. One of the reasons is that a lot of people under 13 are playing this and I don’t think it’s a good inviroment for them which brings us to the second reason. There are a lot of perverts and I guarantee that when you play this game you will get at least one person that’s saying and doing inappropriate things. To parents I would say: if you know that your child is mature and responsible enough to ignore these people then I feel your child shall be welcome to use this. If you don’t think they are mature enough I’d say avoid this game. ✓ Greedy, Classist updates.I’ve been playing this game for 5 years and spent a lot of my actual money on coin packs. The reason I’m giving it 1 star is because I don’t like the recent updates. Firstly I had a second account that was not linked to my email but my Facebook and I had spent a lot of money and time on that one also. Now that account is lost. Thank you for stealing my money. Secondly, everything costs crowns? What was wrong with avacoins? This used to be a fun game where people could actually “work” for coins to buy what they wanted but now people are basically being forced to spend money. The classism is real. Thirdly, if people are spending so much money on this game then why are we running ads now? It’s not enjoyable at all, not to mention there’s now ads in servers? There are tvs in club sundown running ads. Absolutely ridiculously greedy. Once all of the faithful players have quit and only have the people who are spending fortunes on this game you’ll probably have to pay just to have an account. New ways to make money… make VVIP and make it a completely different game for people who have high disposable income. Rather play imvu this way I only have to interact with people my own age and not have to see a million ads. Spend less money and won’t have my account stolen that I spent hundreds of dollars on. ✓ Great game, but be waryGreat game but on my first day of playing, another player, a complete stranger, started calling me some really inappropriate words. I had to leave the scene since I didn't know how to avoid her messages whilst being there. Luckily the other players were defending me, which was super cool. I'm not upset, I'm just not sure if I would let little kids play this game. Great concept tho. It's the perfect game, if only all the players were all friendly. ✓ Don’t waste your timeThe graphics are good, but the content is not. The in game filter is honestly borderline puritanical, yet the game is filled with an abundance of suggestive outfits and dances. The game is full of underage players. Poorly moderated and poorly supported. If you lose an item due to a glitch or other error, good luck getting it back. ✓ Great App but Lots of Improvement NeededThe app is great but, earning Avacoins is not easy! When you convert avabucks... the amount of avacoins you receive is NOT ENOUGH! 48 avabucks = 12 avacoins... ITS RIDICULOUS! Not to mention the prices of items are very expensive. If you all want to keep your prices, then the least you can do is make it easier to earn avacoins. Tapjoy does not give me my rewards! I complete offers and three days go by and I still don’t receive my rewards! The fashion contest is cool but it doesn’t matter how you dress anymore... it’s all about how expensive your clothes are. If the theme is “Red and White”, contestants would wear an expensive gold dress along with a crown and huge wings. The fashion contest makes no sense if no one follows the theme. Avakin also needs more “Games” and “Jobs”, more “Social Spots” would be nice as well. Most importantly we need more jobs. The 23rd street cafe and Club Sundown are the only jobs we have. The game “Starstyle Bar Quiz Night” asks some questions that no one in this world probably knows... the reward for completing such a hard quiz is also RIDICULOUS! More interaction with the world is needed. These are all of the complaints I can possibly think of. This game can use a lot improvement. ✓ Tapjoy issuesHi my name is Chloe, and I’ve been playing AVAKIN for a few years now. Investors never had any huge problems with the game throughout the years but there was some silly things to do with Tapjoy. Tapjoy is a great concept and on some occasions it actually works! But recently I have not been receiving my avacoins at all! I’m quite upset about this as I’ve done nothing wrong whilst I filled out the surveys but almost every time I do a Tapjoy I don’t recive anything! You’re thinking gee whiz, maybe we should fix that but that’s not too bad, right? Well there’s this other thing where every time I try to do one of those surveys, not only does it not work, but it always sends me scam Messages about how I’ve won a iphone 10x if you send me your credit card details and those 3 numbers on the back. ✓ P good, weird censoring thoI just started playing and I like it for the most part but when you name things (idk bout anything else but at least dogs) it won’t let you use words like gay or queer. It lets you say it in chat tho which is weird to me idk. I wanted to name my dog Gayrights because,,, yes. Also I don’t have ideas for normal names for things. It wouldn’t let me do that. The weirdest part is what you can say in chat and what you can name things seem to have different rules. In chat you can say gay, queer, lesbian and stuff like that but can’t say the word “snufkin” (this is a character in the moomin franchise) but I can name my dog snufkin no problem. Just not anything including gay, queer, or lesbian. These are the only 4 words I’ve tested but it’s weird to me. Yes I get why they won’t let you say snufkin bc ig it could be seen as something drug related and yes I get that ppl could use gay and other terms like that as insults but it’s very weird to me that they have different rules for naming things vs saying things in the chat. Also gay, queer, and lesbian are not words that deserve to be censored. ✓ Love it, onceWell third review of game, have graded 3 stars up from 1, because finally I can enter the apartment I purchased after update. What I don’t understand is the censorship getting worse. If this was purely for swear words and such like, I could understand it but people who don’t speak English are having normal words censored, including my Welsh only speaking friend who can no longer communicate on her. She always had problems with messages in the scenes, but could always communicate with private messages. Now she can’t even do this. Surely it would be in Lockwoods best interest to raise the age limit of the game or even better create a children’s version and an adult version. Personally would not let my 13 year old daughter anywhere near this game because of its portrayal of women. Teenagers have enough problems with image, games like this don’t help. The support on it is shocking, send you same message if anything goes wrong, and if that doesn’t sort the problem they stop communicating. Also there was a section where you could put your proper name in, which was only visible to you, since new update it is now available for anyone to see. ✓ The game is nice but...The subject of the game is creative and it has so much details and effort. But the are a few things I don’t like. 1. Controls. The controls make it hard to navigate to different areas. You have to tap to where you want to go and sometimes it gets annoying because if you tap too close to furniture it will say you can’t go there. One time I tried to go somewhere and it said I couldn’t because there was furniture in the way but there was no furniture nearby. It is especially hard to control when you are adding furniture because you can’t go up without going backwards. 2. Job payment. They don’t pay you enough when you work. You only get $30 when you serve once. People rarely even order so that makes it harder to make money. 3. Directions. I like that you can teleport to places but sometimes they don’t tell you where the button is to teleport. For example when you make money from jobs, you have to cash it out at the ATM but it doesn’t tell you where it is so I don’t get any money. And I still don’t know where it is. Now for some good things. I like all of the options for the outfits and they are inexpensive. There a bunch of fun games to play like fashion contests. ✓ Heres a crazy ideaHey LKWD heres a crazy idea, what if updates are supposed to actually make the game better? Not into garbage like your prone to doing. I mean maybe a game is supposed to be improved upon, glitches are supposed to be fixed, and players are supposed to be happy. Does your team not know how to fix the problems? What if there was someone telling you all the problems on i don’t know a forum or a rating page, oh wait theres thousands of people! All telling you what they don’t like about your game i wonder if it would be a smart idea to take out all the stuff people don’t like and put in stuff that people do like. Why is it that hard? I mean are you actually in over your heads? There’s clearly problems repeated over and over by more and more people. From glitches to bullying and kids being annoying, creepy weirdos that you could easily ban but no why ban them when you could ban some random guy minding his own business. ✓ HeyI’ve had this game for about 4 years and it’s been really fun to play most of the time. My only 2 issues with it is that 1 it’s so hard to get coins. Especially compared to the price of the items on the game there’s really no way of getting a good amount of money on their unless you spend your real money but that shouldn’t be the case because it’s a kids game. My other problem is the unlimited items in the shop or the items that are unavailable or modded. All items should be available to all players whether they’re banned or modded or unavailable because it makes the game extremely unfair to others who can’t get the same items. So my only advice would to be to bring everything back into the shop so all players are given the chance to buy whatever they want, especially since some older level players will “bully” and mock what others are like based off what they can and can’t buy..Version: 1.54.3

✓ I've given one star as a warning to parentsParents, absolutely do NOT let your children play this game. I'm NOT a parent, but I am an adult who tried this game on a whim. It's not a bad virtual reality, a very watered down Second Life. Very good, actually, considering it runs on a mobile device. BUT.. there is a major issue. I lost count of how many young teenage girls and boys messaged me asking me to date them (I am a woman). I’ve been hacked by two people and then when I tried to log into my account the next day I was suspended. I think there is a bug in the game that’s causing many people to get suspended. ✓ This got ridiculous really fast…I’ve been playing avakin life for almost seven years now. I love the game. And it certainly deserves 5 stars, but the recent changes have lowered that number. Items in the store continue to cost more and more coins, for example, A rose I purchased a few years ago was 199 and is now almost 6,000 or something. See? Enormous difference. But I’m willing to put in the effort to earn more coins for items. I’m dedicated, believe me. But now they have a new currency called ‘crowns’ which equals almost 15$ for 300 crowns, and it takes a lot of crowns to purchase items. And 94% of all the new items in the store cost crowns, so you can’t keep an updated look or enjoy any of the new releases, which is immensely disappointing for dedicated players like myself who cannot afford to spend 15 or 8 dollars per item. I understand making some of the things in the store cost this ridiculous amount of money, but it’s the majority of the new releases, and even some of the cool items that were cheap before now cost 300 crowns. ✓ Hmm..So far so good, I think. The people there seem polite. The censorship needs work or an option for us adults to turn it off. Apart from surveys and Tapjoy, there isn’t really much to do. Particularly if you want to earn coins to buy things. I really think the jobs need work or more types of jobs to be added. That would be really entertaining. Also, you can be standing around for the whole time you’re working and no one orders. You just kind of stand there doing nothing. People kind of just wait until your turn’s up, without buying from you, too. My review is going to be on the app specifically and the people surrounding it. The app itself isn’t bad at all. There are only a few bugs that I have encountered and they get fixed relatively frequently. New content is released at least twice a week, but it’s subpar at best and never what the community wants. It’s hard to rate Avakin based on the “game” aspect of it because it gets really boring really fast if you don’t talk and build relationships with other players. If Avakin Life was just a game, I’d give it 4 stars. The problem lies not with the app functionality, but in the community and the way LKWD interacts with consumers. The subreddit is many used for suggestions and feedback but I, like a load of others, have realized that most of our feedback and suggestions fall on deaf ears. Better then many other games like it and full of some wonderfull people, friendly customer services and many events for everyone to enjoy. A few small issues would be the censoring issue as now it will just censore random words for no reason even ‘hi’ or just ‘ok’ randomly, the mail now has been censored too and now this makes it difficult to speak with others. A major issue for me is the report system, small things like bullying or name calling can get someone banned but reporting someone for extreme harassment or sending disrespectful and disgusting messages get’s them nothing, with the age limit to play being dropped to 12 and these users are still allowed to play and say these kind of things to younger plays just isn’t right. I understand that the game needs to make money, however, this is problematic for us that play the game for a number of reasons: 1) The advertisements don’t generate enough coins for us to watch them. I don’t mind watching advertisements (some apps on the ads are apps that I will later download). However, the incentive to watch them needs to be increased. I’ve done a couple of quizzes on tapjoy and have not received my coins. Very disappointed. Also being a server does not pay well (if anything). Two the age limit needs to go but up to at least 17 or up. 12 is too young and they rude the game for others because they troll and they beg and that’s a whole another reason why I’m falling out of love with the game. The prices are dum high that it causes people to beg and troll people, which causes users like me to not want to play the game or now want to keep buyin the high price items etc. also this game focuses more on putting items out but they can’t fix the bugs or glitches ? So why keep putting things out if ur not fixing the main problem. There’s so much more I go talk about. ✓ Lawd, y’all ready?Avakin Life - pros: 1. the content designers are amazing and keep improving as time goes by. The graphics are stunning! 2. Very user friendly interface -easy to navigate. 3. The avakin community on insta is amazing and the users offer giveaways Cons: 1. it’s not an adult game but the clothes are targeted for a more adult audience. There are lots of 13 year olds wanting to “smash” (it’s disgusting). They censor silly words making it almost impossible to type a full sentence without it getting stars (it’s what they use to censor words that could be interpreted as foul language even if it’s not). 2. Customer support is AWFUL! They’re dismissive and treat u as though ur lying (even when u offer proof via screen shots, video, etc...). 3. They promote and support tapjoy but if tapjoy decides they don’t want to reward you after spending your hard earned cash, avakin life support says it’s not their problem (I have screen shots). 4. Lots of bugs even though they stay offline (a lot!) to supposedly fix them, when ur finally able to connect again, nothing is fixed just more items added to purchase. In conclusion, I deleted the game after a year and won’t be back unless they get bought out by someone new that cares about their loyal customers. It’s not a game for unattended children, it has a seedy underbelly. Please tread with caution when using tapjoy. ✓ Pretty goodThe game is pretty decent. Although I have some suggestions that I personally think I would love to see, instead of teleporting everywhere, there should be an ability to open and close doors and be able to roam the outside world. I hate the idea of boxed virtual worlds, especially when I’m trying to enter a room in my house/apartment and I need to teleport into it, in order to access it. The whole concept isn’t really my thing. Secondly, there should be an ability to interact more with household items, I only get the option to view it in store, not much to do around the house. Rooms should hold more than 8 people as normally the max that enter a space at a time are 3/5 and the environment seems eerie with not many faces. Next, there should be the ability to actually move the character instead of having to tap everywhere, also there’s certain restrictions on certain areas of my own house, some places I can’t even access. Lastly the houses are overly priced for such small rooms, A, i can’t interact with much of the furniture nor is there any room to place things in. ✓ Used to enjoy itBack a few years ago (around 4-5). I enjoyed this game. With making friends, role playing, creating my avatar etc I spent a lot on this game like £100-£200+ but now I feel all of that has gone to waste with the new currency. I can hardly buy anything at all. The vibe isn’t the same, it seems I can no longer “whisper” to those on public servers which was the beginning of making friends. The whole game has come to a downfall. I just wish they could refurbish back to its old times or give back my money of which I have spent as it has no use anymore considering the alterations. ✓ I’m annoyedI love this game but I’m so annoyed and very upset at the moment. I went on the app yesterday morning to see that I’m logged out for no apparent reason? My account wasn’t linked because I forgot to link it and I also made a payment to buy a lot of avacoins. I did receive that but it seems like after I bought them that the next day I woke up I was suddenly out of the account and I have everything on there, my friends, my pets, my houses all my clothes, my level, my money... I’ve contacted avakin support but now they’re just ignoring me and I’m very angry. Someone has a problem with your game and you’re basically doing nothing to help.
