✓ Very slow loadingIt's a calculator, nothing special about that really, they've been around with these functions for decades. However it is frustratingly slow to load up, which seems inexplicable. It just had an upgrade which was apparently supposed to speed up the load time. I don't think it has achieved anything. Still takes far too long to load. Why?.Version: 4.5

✓ Meh, Keep LookingI just spent a few dollars so you don’t have to. This calculator looks plain and straight forward, which is why I initially liked it… but the UI is off in some places and bleeds into the top bar of my year-old iPad. Had trouble closing the sliding history window too and had to force close the app each time I tested. Doesn’t seem well coded or tested to me. It also just asked to know my location when launching it today… I decided that there is no real reason a calc needs to know that, It felt scummy. I just uninstalled it and will keep looking. ✓ JUST TERRIBLEThis thing worked good for a while and then the graphics blew up! Could only see part of the calculator on the IPad. I latest IPad OSX and did everything possible to delete the app then shut the iPad down and restart reinstall. It works for a little then repeats the mess. I reached out to the developer and sent the, a screen shot and they suggested stuff I already did. They had no solution and don’t apparently care. I would get it no stars in I could. ✓ It's a calculatorIt's a calculator that serves as a replacement for the one Apple forgot to put on the iPad. I used to use it all the time, but since it has been updates it is incredibly slow to open. I stare at a completely blank screen for nearly ten seconds, then wait another ten seconds for the keypad to unfreeze. I know don't bother opening it and reach for, switch in an open my iPhone instead for those instant calculations. It's actually quicker that way. Shame. It was so convenient..Version: 4.2

✓ Changed all of a suddenBeen using the pro for long time w/o the advertisements, all of a sudden , just over nite I was trying to use this morning the numbers on the keypad are very large, cannot see the calculations screen. Rebooted iPad but had no effect, deleted from desk top, reloaded it now I have very large numbers with framing advertising. Can not make the calculator fit the screen like it was yesterday. My IOS 13.2.3 is what I use , I cannot provide more specific info, other than the above description. Had used it the nite before when I went to use the calculator it was very large with only a few numbers visible on my screen even in landscape, again I tried the steps above before I deleted it and reloaded it. ✓ STILL Not compatible with ios11, out for money onlyBait and switch: Agree with other reviewers: yes with paid version there are still popup ads when you open, and yes this is a simple app, which cost more than similar apps..but my other very complicated apps were updated immediately for ios11...this one we are STILL WAITING FOR..where is the support? ✓ Decent app but...I really resent how it pesters me to rate it even after I've purchased it. This is seriously bad form: if I've dismissed this dialog box once before, it should never ask again. The scientific calculator has everything I need but I do wish the percentage button was on the normal vertical screen as I use it a lot but don't really need the other scientific functions. ✓ Made to buy AGAINBought this right after I got my new IPad air. Installed it, loved it… then recently it went all white! There was NO app showing at all when I opened it, just a white screen. So I figured there must have been a glitch and thought I would delete it and reinstall but it wouldn’t recognize that I purchased it even though it said on my screen. ✓ Ads are prompted upon opening the app?!I BOUGHT this app so I could make calculations quickly WITHOUT being interrupted by ads. However, very often I have to click out a pop-up window that is prompted whenever I start the app. Absolutely ridiculous for a app I PAID for... Apart from this atrocious marketing scam, this app isn’t even compatible with iOS 11’s multitasking! There are a lot of calculator apps for iOS which actually function with iOS 11 and don’t incessantly advertise at you once you bought it so steer clear of this rip-off. Note to Developer: I’ve seen other reviews complain about these pop-up ads on the paid version but you seem to insist that they must still using the free version, this is NOT the case. On the PAID version of this app, you have programmed it to often times create a pop-up (not a banner) when opened to advertise your companies products. While they are not always present, when the history window is open you have an “X” to close it under an “i” for info. Which causes accidental touching of the “i” very easy! ✓ AVOID THIS MALWARE APPDon’t install this app. I installed it on my new iPad and I started to get intrusive pop ups. The Safari on my iPad was useless with the pop ups redirecting my browser to some scam site asking me to take surveys with the promise of winning an iPhone or iPad. You cannot go back to the site without closing the browser. Apple needs to pull this app from the App Store. I had to uninstall and reboot my iPad to stop the pop ups. I read the privacy policy and discovered they’re collecting a lot of my private data (email address and password as well as the use of my camera at anytime, and Facebook data) in exchange for the use of this app. The agreements also give them the rights to ask us to take surveys..Version: 5.1

This is because the user needs to know the correct order to put information in. However, there are NO instructions that I have found, no guide to help you at all. It’s all incredibly hit and miss. Making me rotate my iPad to switch modes is really poor programming. Filling the entire screen with enormous numbers and keys is insulting as well. ✓ Watch out while entering exponentialThis calculator app does pretty much what it should, but I encountered an issue where when I was entering exponentials, I have to enter the sign of the exponential after the value. For example if I want to type 1E-3, I have to type 3 before the minus otherwise a 1 automatically appears and I’ll have 1E13. I find this to be rather unusual and for a calculator app such quirks can lead to lots of problems. Hope the dev will fix this and I’ll change my rating..Version: 5.1

✓ Not worth it - stay away from this developerPurchased the pro version. worked fine until iOS11 was released. as stated in other reviews here, the bug is in multitasking mode. you cannot use the app in floating multitasking mode, something that is very problematic. most users will want that functioning properly. i reported this to the developer in september 2017, was told a fix was coming soon. i reported again in early october 2017. was told a fix coming soon. i am checking now, no bug fixed and the month is coming to an end. may i remind the developer that we paid a rather elevated amount for what amounts to a basic, simple app. the same amount buys apps that require lots, but lots of more work than this calculator app. the fact that developer cannot fix a simple bug that truly limits the use of this app is unacceptable. simply put, this is not a priority for the developer. it is just a way to extract some money from you. stay clear from this, aim for other apps that the same if not more. i am deleting mine, wish i could get my money back. the developer does not deserve it. and no, i usually do not write reviews..Version: 5.0
