✓ Lord Sutton Needs a Story!!I love the game I find all in all amazing however I have played through Graham's story many times and no matter I still can not find a way to be with Lord Sutton. I believe Lord Sutton needs his own story and that you can chose whom to spend more time with are Graham invites you to go see art with him and you decide to spend time with Lord Sutton. That you can spend time and run into Lord Sutton which will lead to a romance. That at the park when you notice Lord Sutton and Graham leaves you, Sutton leaves who he is with and talks to you. Sending you expensive art that you enjoyed when you were with him. A few more chapters pass and he confesses that he is in love with you.I think the game needs a Darcy sort of romance cause who doesn't love Darcy and Elizabeth!!!!!!.Version: 2.1.2

✓ Wow!I downloaded this game yesterday on a whim and ended up staying up extraordinarily late (or early!) playing it. I chose Marcus as my suitor and I was definitely not disappointed. I only wish I could continue our story now that we’re happily married! ✓ AmazingI love Ms. Austen's work and this game feels just like being the protagonist in one of her novels! I hope you guys are thinking if making more with different characters and situations. The only thing I didn't really care for were the skills. I liked the concept but they were to easy to build and had no real consequence in the gameplay. Also, I became really good friends with the character of Elli but the epilogue said we were merely cordial to each other. (although I have now run out of possible outcomes - pleeeeease develop add-ons for Lord Sutton and Mr Digby! I would happily pay!) Or am I Prejudiced?I've never been a fan of Jane Austen's works (maybe something to do with being a dude), and was initially sceptical about picking up a regency game that didn't involve swords and guns. But Regency Love, I take my hat off to you. Who knew you could have this much fun being a girl! With the beautiful art and the rich storyline(s), brought together by the friendly interface, its often hard to stop after the next chapter. I've learnt much about the world of regency and would like to think that I've learnt something about myself (namely what sort of girl I would be). My only criticism is that RL should really have a disclaimer, so here it is now: Disclaimer - this app may invoke very real emotions in certain individuals, up to and including heartbreaks. ✓ Worth itHonestly I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised! A few minor inaccuracies here and there but overall actually period appropriate! Sweet, interesting, and time consuming in a GOOD way (no drudgery required to progress, but the stories take time to unfold so you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth). ✓ AmazingThis game is fantastic! It really exceeded my expectations. Tons of dialogue and different outcomes make the replayability factor high, and the art is gorgeous. The characterization is pretty great (I'm ride or die Mr. Graham, lol), and I actually have really come to enjoy shaping my main character. It's very RPG-esque. I'm still working through my first playthrough, and I've spent hours in game. You get a lot for your money, and there's no annoying micro transactions! I know it hasn't been updated in a while, but I'm still hoping for add-ons... Whatever the case, though, it's a fun, surprisingly deep game that I highly recommend..Version: 2.1

✓ Really good!I love how you can decide your responses and the mini games of hangman a lot of the scenes are beautiful with a whimsy sort of feel. My only nitpick with it is some of the characters are drawn very well ( Richard Ashcroft / gentleman in town when you first start the story ) and then you have cartoony/rushed looking characters ( mrs Norris, Marcus Ashcroft & Mr Digby ) it would take away from the story at times as I was a bit distracted by this..Version: 2.1.2

✓ Love it!I have spent hours upon hours playing this game trying to work out all the different possibilities and endings. Hours. If you love anything from Jane Austen you will love this game. Many favourite characters are loosely represented. Plus, witty banter!! Only thing that I don't like is paying for one of the bachelors. I'm a uni student and can't justify paying $10 to play with another bachelor option... Well, at least I shouldn't be trying to justify it. ✓ My Most Played GameA ton of fun!!!! A fabulous setting with interesting era trivia. My first goal was to get the happiest ending with each suitor so I played and played until I got as many kisses as I could (Ashcroft was the only actual kiss on the lips I could procure, the rest bestowed gentlemanly kisses on the hand. Sniff. I reaaaaallly wanted a kiss from Graham, but only my hand was so blessed LOL). Once I finished that, I played to unlock as many badges I could (which required me to respond in ways I NEVER would—rude, overly flirtatious, or extremely independent, etc. That was hilarious). I still have about a third of the badges to unlock, so lots of play time left. I do want a Lord Sutton option. I keep checking this developer, but on my device there aren’t any other games available by them. For shame! Lol. Haha. I hope they put out more for the Apple store soon. Great fun. Worth the money for Graham’s route for sure!!! Graham is a complete doll and Ashcroft makes a girl swoon. I was entertained by the wacky conversations of Digby and the older gentleman suitor (I forgot his name already..eek...guess he wasn’t my type lol). I wish to help or at least see Mary’s love story. ✓ Worthy of AustenI’ve taught Austen’s novels many times, and I purchased this game with some cynicism. But I was surprised by how very much I enjoyed it. I’ve played all three suitors and Mr. Ashcroft is by far my favorite, but all three storylines are good. I would have liked to see more development of some issues: for example the fact that your aunt and mother are estranged gets mentioned in the beginning and is never referred to again. What the heck? Why even mention the issue if it’s just going to disappear? I echo what others have said—would love to see more characters added to this game or, even better, for these producers to create another similar game. One based on Dickens—an orphan trying to make his way in London like Oliver Twist—would be great!.Version: 2.1.2

✓ Beautifully written, original contentLove this app! Played through three times in the beginning with delight. Came back to the game several years later and loved it just as much. Well worth the money and they've added a new route for adorable Mr. Graham. Moros as he is Mr. Ashcroft is still my favorite. Poor Mr. Sutton needs his own story. This is well put together through visuals, music and excellent script. The characters are believable and your options through the basic play are the standard Austen archetypes. Your last option is to stay a spinster-- an impoverished but noble end. Be witty, break hearts, be a flirt or channel your favorite Austen heroine or anti-heroine. If you've dallied longer than most in Austenland during your life the quizzes will be nothing to you and soon you will become renown for your accomplishments. Being a voracious reader of Jane Austen, entranced by period dramas, I played through the game at a reasonable pace while still enjoying everything it had to offer. The interactions had with the characters as well as the many choices made it feel all the more realistic, and I was easily absorbed into the story. The little multiple choice quizzes were great opportunities for me to learn things I may not have otherwise known. I felt a bit taken advantage of as a consumer, since I obviously wanted to keep playing. There needs to be more characters/suitors for the price you pay. Maybe it should let you choose who your best friends are or an option to decline a social event. ✓ Love it!!This game is just amazing, I love it so much. I really like the music and the backgrounds the most. There is only one problem, and that is crashing. My game has crashed A LOT. I don't mind too much thanks to the auto save, but it keeps crashing at the very end of the storyline. When I open it back up and hit resume game and go to the map only displays chapters I haven't read or quizzes, nothing related to the guy who's storyline I'm on. It's like it disappeared. Please fix! You’ve got a silent, bookish, not-traditionally-handsome guy, you’ve got a pretty boy who loves his little sister, you’ve got a guy that I expected to be a jerk but is actually really thoughtful and loves embroidery, and you have a slightly less offensive version of Mr. Collins. The sweet moments aren’t saccharine, people react pretty realistically, AND you get all those fanciful romance moments from books and movies without feeling ridiculous. If you like period drama type love and character choice games with romancing your favorite characters this is one of the best one on the App Store as far as I know. Multiple roads you can take and you have dialogue choice options, and the characters are lovely. You get sucked into it and it’s not one of those you can kind of speed through because there’s mini trivia hangman’s and fill in the blank style games to you keep you entertained and reminded that this is a game. But the endings are truly worth it. The reason why it’s one of best romance games for regency era is because it is slow burn and you’re just like “ahhhh! Hurry up and kiss! Touch hands” just like how’d you’d actually feel when em watching pride and prejudice. Down the game. And I guess my old review never posted so here goes: A gentle and surprisingly lengthy look at a six-month courtship with one of three bachelors (though I'm starting to suspect there's a hidden one as well!), alongside other daily interactions: old friends, family connections, town gossips, schoolchildren, the neighborhood cat. Personality and hobbies defined by *actual* role playing and by winning points in trivia and hangman challenges pertaining to period quotes and tidbits. Questions are repeated here and there, but not as frequently as in version 1.0. Personality traits can also run repetitive; there are many options for 'witty' and 'amiable,' but not as much as for others. Even so, there several different results and they add embellishments to the epilogues (which can be saved to the Memoirs menu). A tremendous amount of time has been given to this love project; play if you're curious, a fan of fine language, a romantic, and/or would like a gentle interactive story with replayability. One or two glitches; the nickname system has never seemed to work and one of Graham's scenes is cut short. Mild concerns. Support these lovely ladies!.Version: 2.1.2

I’ve never purchased an app before, but I am very glad that I purchased this one. Beautifully beautifully done. Lots of trivia for the Austen and/or history buffs (like me), with well thought out romances. Just finished playing it once through, Mr. Ashcroft made me swoon! I think if I get to know him more, Mr. Curtis will be good too. Personally really love Digby’s clumsy self. I do hope new bachelors will be added soon. I want to try my hand at Graham, but $6 is a bit pricey—maybe the next paycheck, haha. I also wish maybe there could be some customization of the main character, so we can have a face to connect to? As well as a chance to decline activities. I found myself avoiding certain places often so I wouldn’t have to have a conversation with Curtis. Highly recommend. Beautiful artwork and beautiful music. ✓ I think I’m in love with this game!This game is one of those rare gems that deserve much more love! I adored every tiny detail from the wonderful music to the interesting character. The artwork has a beautiful oil-like feeling to it, the target is simple (get married!)but there are so many ways of achieving an interesting epilogue. ✓ Love it!I really like it--I was very quickly pulled into the story! The story is well written, although I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to help Phoebe more with her romance. And why is Mr. ... I forget his name, but he's the clumsy, clueless gentleman who has next to no facial features. He needs his character to be drawn in a bit more. (Art wise, not character wise. He's perfectly goofy the way he is.😆) Anyway, I was actually wondering if you guys were planning on putting the music for this game (particularly the main menu) on iTunes? ✓ Nicknames broken??Absolutely brilliant game, I’m in love with it and I I’ve been playing it for a fair while. The game is extremely well made and beautifully crafted, I have nothing to complain about on that end. I do, however, want to let the devs know (if they happen to be reading) that there’s something wrong with the nicknames in the game. Whenever the protagonist goes to tell Ellie to call her Catherine or Kitty it says Catherine or Catherine. But when I left the nickname box blank to see if it effected anything I noticed that Ellie would use the nickname because there would be no name there at all (since I left it blank) so Ellie would have blank spots in her sentences where the nickname’s supposed to be. However it does not use the actual nickname when I have one..Version: 2.1.2
✓ AmazingI usually find that when I buy an app, it’s not actually worth the money. That is not the case with Regency Love. I love this app. I find myself constantly replaying it. Three men are included: Mr Curtis loosely based on Severus Snape. There is an Easter egg response if you say the right thing to him. He may be older and more aloof but I love that he’s a bookworm and he’s my favorite. Mr Ashcroft who looks after his sister and has a family secret. Mr Digby is kinda boring but clearly has a crush on you. He’s the last resort if you turn down the others Mr Graham is the IAP. He’s not cheap but well worth the money. He’s charming and sensitive and clearly falls in love with you. His storyline seems to be the longest and most involved making it worth the price tag of $5.99. The replay value is great. There are so many ways you can play your character. Witty, sensible compassionate etc all based on how you respond in the game. The epilogues can differ based on your characteristics and preferred activities. There are also lots of achievements and cutscenes to unlock. You can also swipe right on the screen during a conversation to see the reaction before making a final decision. I recommend this app if you love Jane Austen novels and even if you don’t but still love romance.Version: 2.1

✓ Not Another Voltage Game!This story was a breath of fresh air compared to the mindless characters I've played in other dating sims. The story was well written and the characters felt relatable and reminded me of people in my own life. It's been awhile since a story character surprisingly swept me off my feet! (I had started the game not liking any of the possible suitors and one of them ended up growing on me in a very unexpected way!) Plus Lord Fat Cat made me laugh throughout the story! 😸 He ended up being my most favorite character of all! I love Pride and Prejudice, and this game has an amazing Jane Austen feel to it. It was so easy for me to get lost in this world and in the role of my character. Speaking of characters, all of the ones in this game are amazing. They felt real, and I was so genuinely involved in the story. It was a tremendously wonderful experience. I’ve played other dating sims before, but this is the best. There are so many scenes and so many possibilities—I can’t keep repeating myself, but, seriously, I highly recommend this game to anyone who has ever wanted to get lost in a Jane Austen novel or control the protagonist in a romantic novel. The price is definitely worth it too. Most dating sims are $4 per character and don’t have nearly as much content. This game is a hidden gem among ALL apps. And it is replay-able, so you will get your money’s worth, I promise ;) Also, I recommend Mr. Ashcroft if you are head-over-heels for Mr. Darcy..Version: 2.1

The story itself doesn’t even compare to the bulk of other visual novels, especially those of the romance variety — again, this should be the standard level for romance games and visual novels. For around $8 (Australian), you will have a game in your possession that is not only charming, but will keep you playing again and again — even after you’ve romanced everybody and have all the achievements. This is an immersive experience, and well worth the purchase. With the base game, there are three romance options, as well as numerous of subplots and other characters to make the game feel like a world. ✓ Wonderful gameI stumbled upon this app, and I’m so glad I did. It’s charming, witty, and engaging. This app reminds me of the PC game Matches and Matrimony, but that game was confined to Austen characters. I enjoyed having original characters to play with here. The three suitors (plus Graham after the in-app purchase) all have unique and enjoyable storylines. My favorite is Mr. Curtis, followed by Mr. Ashcroft. Poor Digby is well...lol Graham is a bit too puppy-doggish for my tastes, and I really wish Lord Sutton was an option. But after all this time, I’m not sure if we will see new or updated stories in this app. There are a couple of minor typos and misattributed dialogues, but it’s not a big deal and they don’t detract from my enjoyment of the stories. The story is absolutely amazing and doesn't have a strict path you must follow. It is also the best dating game I have ever played. ✓ Deserves more creditI went into this game half heartedly, purchasing it on a whim. But I love it so much! Yes, I too am an Ashcroft fangirl now. What I love is that it's set in the very era I love the most, and how much depth each character had. I found myself holding my breath at dramatic scenes with the Ashcrofts, puzzled over what response could satisfy Mr Carter, and smiling silly to myself of everyone's favorite Lord Fat Cat. There were moments that were kind of moment ruining. I wanted my motivation credits so in the middle of a romantic or dramatic scene I would be waiting for the hint bar to load with intense music playing in the background for some Jane Austen hangman. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 is the price. Lovely game, but should be cheaper. I believe it would be $5 worth of they had a better choice of bachelors. Sorry Mr Digby. I am a huge fan of Jane Austen and the Regency period in general so I was intrigued from the start. I love the card swipe mechanics for conversation progression, and even the skill acquisition became fun with the trivia and hangman mini game. Some people disagree with the price, but I am willing to pay for quality content, and this delivers!
