✓ Marathon does not registerWe can not get the scoring to save on the achievements for the marathon with advanced deck. We have finished the hand with a 1 and 2 star hands..Version: 1.8
✓ In-app purchases don't work...I also didn't think the graphics were great, but I enjoyed the game so I ignored them. Moving on from that, I decided to try the in-app purchases, but they didn't work. I uninstalled the app, installed it again, tried again. It didn't work. I uninstalled the app, shut down my phone, turned it on again, installed the app, tried again...it still didn't work. It's hard to say this app is functional. I think proper testing should've been done before releasing it. This is no way to leave customers...up the creek... :/.Version: 1.5

✓ Weird messages at end of gameLike another reviewer, I find the messages at the end of each game off-putting. I just finished a game, ending with a new high score, and at the top there was a banner that said "Don't be discouraged, try again." I'd rather have no message at all than these "encouraging" messages. (I looked in the game's settings to see if there was a way to turn that off, but the settings area is pretty bare-bones and there was nothing about this there.).Version: 1.8
✓ Does anyone own the rights to this app? Change it!Love the card game. Love the game as it appears in the app. Hate hate hate the discouraging messages at the end of play. I end each game feeling like an idiot. And a lot of my friends are too dumb even to play the game lol — yet I end up feeling like a pathetic loser. I think I did pretty well and the app tells me “Don’t give up!” I have a good time playing and the app tells me “Persevere and get it done!” like I just slogged through some difficult and boring task. How hard would it be to either take all these messages away and say nothing OR say something encouraging like “Way to go!”? The card game that sold the rights might be able to prevail on the developers who have probably moved on to other things. As a teacher I can’t even recommend this to my students for fear of discouraging them. Get it together, Set! Try harder!.Version: 1.8
✓ Game not randomized adequatelyThis was such a womp womp. Not only can you not play with friends, but the game assumes that you are an idiot and cannot possibly handle more than a 1-2-3 same shape, color, pattern combo. Literally. Every round. Unimpressed..Version: 1.8
✓ Not worth the moneyI really wanted to like this app and have some fun matching cards, but I just couldn't. This is a very basic app, has bland and somewhat confusing user interface, and boring game modes. To think this game came from the official company that made the SET cards, they need to hire better designers and programmers to do this, very disappointed. ✓ Great game, but in-app purchases don't workI love Set, and I enjoy playing it. The originally-purchased version works well (except that the quit and hint touch responses can be VERY slow), and can be quite addictive. But I purchased both the Arcade and Marathon/Discovery versions from within the app, and receive a product restore failure notification when I try to add them. They are not useable. Judging by the version history and other reviews, this has been an issue for quite some time, so either no one is reading these, no one is working on it, or it is taking far too long to fix the problem. It's disappointing, because I'd like to experience more with this game..Version: 1.5

✓ DisappointingI love this game and have waited forever to see it in app form. While the essential game play is functional, the experience of this app is seriously lacking. It's yearning for a gorgeous minimal design in the spirit of the iOS or the Lumosity games, but instead there are colored photographic backgrounds, cartoon characters, drop shadows, and distracting boxes everywhere. It has such potential for thoughtful gestures, beautiful movements, and a clean impactful interface. ✓ Needs multiplayerThis app is fine as a rudimentary set game, but so much of the fun of playing is playing against other people. It’s beyond my comprehension why there couldn’t be a multi-player mode wherein, as soon as you click on a set, a little screen pops up asking which player to credit the set, which the player who got the set can click, after which it returns to gameplay with three new cards. Without that functionality it’s seriously stunted in what it can do..Version: 1.8
✓ Needs a major upgradeThis is my favorite game in the world and I play it every day.. but this app needs a MAJOR upgrade. It feels like I’m playing a game from the 2000’s. ✓ Massive failThis App failed so badly that it locked up my iPhone X which then had to be rebooted to regain control. Even with this massive failure, Apple refuses to issue a refund..Version: 1.8
✓ Did I miss something?I must have missed something here, because this is, in my opinion, the worst app I've ever paid for. I LOVE Set and was excited to see this app, but it is so disappointing. Once you start a game and need to leave because you have a life, it's a crap shoot on how many times you have to touch the pause button before it finally reacts. Then, even after pausing, there's only a 50/50 chance that when you go back in it will be saved. The scoring at the end doesn't make sense- sometimes it'll tell me great job, other times it'll tell me that I can do better- on identical scores. There are no options at all other than basic or advanced deck. No sound effects or anything to make it more interesting. There should be a shuffle option too. But even beyond those options, what is there is just weak. There's also no multi-player option like the real-life game. Overall, other than the fact that it's Set and I love Set, I'm not impressed at all..Version: 1.1

✓ Used to Love, But Update Is Evil RipoffMuch like another reviewer said, it's just not cool to suddenly make parts of the game inacessible to people who purchased an earlier version. And it wasn't a cheapie, either, if I recall. It's totally ridiculous that I'm locked out of gameplay I used to be able to access because the update has suddenly deemed them in-app purchases. Developers need to figure out a way to grandfather in legacy users. This was one of my favorite games but I'm very upset at how this update was handled. Will never buy another game from them..Version: 1.3
