Surely if I’m going to watch (even the highlight) I will find out the score…presumably what I came to do…*through watching the content*. Please, all posters of any sports content. ✓ BackwardThe upgrade is a step backward, the graphics n more in-depth with team is ok but the app doesn’t give you that connection dat it use to. 1st of all the streaming is removed, so you can’t fallow the game again if you not home and I tune to your tv (which is mostly the case for me). 2nd of all you usually could go to videos and have a catalogue of videos to chose from, simple picking the highlight you more interested in with more ease. In this new app dat is a lil tedious as you now have to just scroll n scroll and still might not see the game dat played two weeks ago that you just in love with how United was in total control n destroy full. I thought the upgrade was gonna be more upgrading the radio streaming to video streaming. Instead streaming was totally removed... nobody have time to follow the game by gluing to the screen watching the games tru words!!!.Version: 6.2.1
✓ Good Content, Bad AppOverall, I’d rate the content at 4 stars, but the app itself at 1 star. Weird issues and bugs persist across multiple versions, including not respecting orientation of the device after a video ends (e.g. the whole UI flips to portrait even if your device is in landscape). This is frustrating, since 90% of the time I use my iPad in landscape orientation. Most annoyingly of all, there’s a timeline of recent posts, which automatically scrolls to the next post after a certain period of time (similar to Instagram Stories). It’s supposed to stop auto-scrolling if you interact with the post, but there’s a bug which makes it immediately advance to the next post when a video starts. So in order to watch the video, you end up having to go back and race the app to try and expand the video to full screen in the fraction of a second before it scrolls to the next post! ✓ Made me pay twice and still no MUTVAfter 2 years of subscribing to MUTV I was told my subscription expired. I only use the app to watch preseason games, so this occurred as I was logging on to watch the latest match. I quickly resubscribed to the annual pass, but the app did not seem to recognize it despite the charge coming through. I tried to go through the process again, was charged a second time for the same pass I already paid for, and STILL no access to MUTV. I missed the match — one of only a handful of matches we get to watch for preseason each summer. This being the only use I get out of the app, it’s needless to say I’m extremely disappointed. This can’t be happening, and it really should not be possibly from an IT standpoint to pay for the same subscription twice. ✓ Still not good enoughThis app as been around for a while as it currently sits. It still has massive issues with the Home Screen video features, when you can get videos to work they still clutch quite often. I have high speed commercial internet (fiber), and literally have no issue with any other apps but this one. They’re customer service is also nonexistent. They just tell you to delete the app and download it again. They never fix anything..Version: 10.2.34

Woodward reckons that everything that happens on the pitch has nothing to do with all the financial side... #LUHG But the shares are dropping and fans are realising that these snakes are only in it to pocket every penny spent by fans and sponsors. Nothing is going back into the club. The roof leaks, there’s no youth team pitches and in the social side in the fans lounges, staff are getting trimmed. All fans need to realise this, or give it 3 more years and the disappointment would’ve carried on and we’ll be in relegation battles with all the deadwood players, who would be carrying on getting contract extensions because it’s cheaper than buying new players to fight for trophies.Version: 6.7.1

You’d be watching a press conference and it skips to the next story without you even touching it or just black out. Pressing arrows and back buttons repeatedly to get them to function. Every time I look to change ‘my favourite player’ it exits the app. I’ve been stuck on Ronaldo for 6m now. It still shows him as my favourite player and he doesn’t even play for Utd!!! I no love utd and have traveled all over Europe watching them. But the app is like the ground - tired and out dated. ✓ Problem selecting favourite player…Nice App, lots of info and features, easy to use, but persistent problem for me is the continued inability to select your favourite player on the profile page. Click on a player and it just shuts down the App for some reason, no matter how many updates or bug fixes are released still the same problem. Personal info gives DOB but then calculates wrong age. The problem is that it’s nearly impossible to open the app and navigate to the MUTV section of the app without the inadvertently seeing the match score and ruining everything. It’s so aggravating! ✓ Not usable for a subscriptionI’ve subscribed to this app through the App Store for a few years but since last year the app on AppleTV no longer automatically logs in or asks to reset purchases. It now asks for a log in? For those who don’t use the same email and password for every web site in the world and subject themselves to identity theft, malware, ransomware, etc. it is unclear at least to me what login are they talking about? The subscription is through the Apple App Store but my Manu account is different. I tried every possible combination but it would not allow me to see content despite paying for the last year. Basically I subscribed and was not able to watch anything over the last year. I am not subscribing this year. I don’t know who is responsible for this issue, ManUTV or Apple or both, but it needs to be corrected so when someone purchases a one year subscription the app automatically recognizes you have subscribed like in the past and allows you to watch. ✓ App of errorsThe errors you get on this app are unbelievable. Two years ago I subscribed to mutv and after my payment it always said subscription expired. After everything was merged into one app it’s gotten even worse. I paid for an annual subscription but it still tells me not subscribed. And when I did a password reset and put it the old one mistakenly it locked my account and said I had made 5 wrong attempts when I hadn’t even made one. The app is useless to me now. ✓ EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTINGThe news is not current. You will find no realistic reporting and the app steers well clear of topical issues that really matter to fans. All you get are social media player updates and match reports. You expect unbiased reporting on what is happening at the club i.e the fact Martial has rejected a new contract offer has not been mentioned. The topical issues around class of 92 commentary and views is never highlighted and there has not been one news item on the poor club form. I am a hardened Utd fan but these reviews are from the corporate machine designed to help the club succeed commercially. This is not a true representation of my club or where we are at the moment. ✓ Clumsy and unreliableI guess I have to admit the information about the club and club updates are there on the App but I (yeah 51 so tech isn’t my thing) and my sons 16 & 20 all think this App is clumsy to use and is not at all intuitive when using it. Given the money the club probably paid I think they just confirm every time their ‘buys’ are naive their negotiating skills regarding payments are childish, almost like they pay over the odds just so they can brag in the playground about how much something cost. They clearly don’t use the App and is it were say, a banking app, they would be even more bankrupt than they already are!!! Also it is totally unreliable in regards if keeping accurate records of things like the Daily Streaks feature which keeps resetting which therefore loses the user points which hinders progression. ✓ MUTV doesn’t workLike the title says. MUTV doesn’t work properly on my iPad. It says my subscription is expired, except that it’s the exact same account I use on my phone. It works on my phone. And my Xbox. So either the phone and Xbox are glitched out and giving me access that I should not have, or the tablet version of the app has a bad connection. Given that my account works literally everywhere else, I’m leaning more to the tablet version of the app not working. I would prefer to watch the preseason matches on my iPad rather than my phone, but it seems to be my only option at the moment. I was hoping that there was a compatibility issue with the iOS build and the app build except it’s been like this since at least last season, basically since MUTV was merged into the main app. While I appreciate the streamlined nature of it, I would really enjoy being able to actually view the content I’m paying for in all the places where it is advertised..Version: 10.2.34

They don’t have the latest news, it gives one sided assessments of matches and you can not watch any games on it all even U18s! Come on! ✓ Why I don’t like the app1) why should I pay a subscription for the app when I can’t watch the game live on the app. You pay to watch it the next day which is pointless. 2) the app needs to just have better statistic update times as the updates during a game are delayed by a couple of minutes. 3) if you are listening to the match, and your phone is not on the app during the audio, then it glitches out and you have to login in again to just listen to the commentary. ✓ Good app but....In general this is a decent app with some decent information about the first team in particular. But they definitely need to up their game as far as coverage of the women’s team. I am writing this on the 12th October 2019 and when you open the app there is coverage of the U23 and the U18 sides, as well as reports on the International sides with Utd players. There’s even an item on the Rugby League final held at Old Trafford. However, you have to go digging into the app to find a single short report on the Women’s 3-0 win over Spurs. They need to get their act together and maybe employ a women in the app team!.Version: 6.9.8

Alarming thing is how the glazers NFL team are sliding down and now the same seems to be happening at united. Ground needs repairing but instead the club seem happy with selling shirts and commercial deals. I’d love Ole to succeed but I feel while the clown Woodward is still in charge of transfer deals and decisions at OT than I think Ole could be gone by Christmas. They don’t care about the fans only about revenue. Utd managing director Richard Arnold recently stated: “The app continues to perform ahead of expectations.” That was his first comment after such an awful season. Due to the Glazers, we are watching our rivals compete for multiple titles whilst we lose to relegated teams. Things will only get worse next season. Our only hope of success, is if the Glazers and Woodward F Off!
