✓ Giving me funny vibesLook I’m far from a hater.. I’m the type to do me show love and do me . With that being said this app seems fishy a lot of these ppl are ok ...but they be having over 3,000 like in 15mins .. I post my music nothing , I barely get views . There’s no way to get featured , I really don’t know how all of these people do. I just started another app called rapfame no lie I have over 10 followers , 30 likes , 94 views in a week 15 comments , you can judge ppl bars , performance, they have a open chat room it’s so dope you can also push your self up buy paying for coins but it’s not fake ppl they are real , so with that I’m not even sweating Rapchat , they need to step they game up , for a new up coming Artist I need real feedback I need a app for the ppl.. check rapfame out you guys if you are having the same problem as me ..Version: 6.3.25
✓ App not workingApp has been down since I woke up I signed out thinking it might help and I can sign right back in but no it’s says all my email and passwords attempts are invalid or don’t match and when I try to reset password to my email it says something went wrong try again later u guys already scammed me paying for a gold subscription even after I cancelled before the free trial ended and now I can’t even use the service I payed almost a hundred dollars for this is ridiculous fix my account now or I will seek further reimbursement and action agains u and ur team I have saved work that is now untraceable and a account that costs $80 till next year that is inaccessible.Version: 7.2.3
✓ Missing some featuresOverall, this is not a bad app, but there are some features that are missing that would make it GREAT! If users were able to edit finished tracks, that would be amazing. Sometimes a person just wants to mix their audio just to see what it sounds like, but right now, it’s impossible to make any edits once you’ve pressed finish, and that’s not how most people record music. I also wish there were “Undo”, “Redo”, “Copy”, and “Paste” buttons while recording and working with the tracks. Right now, if you make a mistake, there is no fixing it. These additions would make me want to continue to use the app. Otherwise, I’m searching for another app that can do those things because it makes the recording process much more efficient..Version: 7.1.5

✓ Pause while recordingThis app is very helpful and convenient. But I have some suggestions that I personally think could better the app. Ya feel me? 1. I think you should be able to pause while recording. (Record a part of a track, then stop it. Then proceed to record the other part.) This would make it way easier to add more depth and make it quicker to record songs (I feel like this is a feature that people have wanted for a while). Also I feel like there should be more free beats available that are a little longer (2:30+) And last but not least there are a lot of bugs and issues such as the beat going away after you record a song and not being able to log onto your Rapchat account. ✓ Nothing loads, loop feature broken, glitchy appRecently absolutely nothing has loaded on the Rapchat app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, to no avail. Completely and utterly dead app at the moment. Also when the app actually was working fine, the loop feature is broken. It’ll just keep going long after the beat is over, meaning you just need to keep pausing, then winding it back to the start to keep writing. This interruption in the flow of work builds up over time and makes it frustrating to use. The audio recording quality is kind of subpar. I have a $500 mic with a pop filter, and on other apps it sounds recording studio good, but on Rapchat the microphone levels are out of wack, and it’s either too quiet or too loud. Also gets buzzy and kind of grainy. This is a useful app, and I’ve made many songs on it. But a lot of it is just broken or glitchy. And the devs aren’t rolling out adequate fixes for these problems!.Version: 7.8.4

✓ Liked the oldAbsolutely loved the app before the update, used it very frequently and consistently recording different songs or freestyles, yet this new update they literally didn’t change a thing except all of the visuals are different and will have to be relearned. I saw the update at the beginning and was a little concerned because I loved how it used to be, I went to the recording studio and realized that everything was virtually the same, it just looked completely different, I went to record some stuff I had been working on and then after recording an entire song without a hiccup, I went to listen to it and it wouldn’t play. There was a loading symbol over the record button, I waited for over 20 minutes and it never did anything but load, I had to delete the track I had just created without even being able to listen to it. Thought it may have just been a glitch but lo and behold the very next try it did it again. PLEASE FIX!!!.Version: 6.0.2
✓ Needs another updateSo I’ve had this app for well over a year now and during that time span I’ve not had any sort of issues to complain about because I was genuinely happy with the way that app was. I could find the beats I wanted, I could use the app very well, and it was easy to mix and transfer over any music I made. Now with this new update, the app has basically become unusable. I still try to use it to write my songs because I really don’t have any proper options but it is such a pain trying to use an app that seems as if its servers are crashing. Everything buffers for longer than necessary, I can’t see the beats I saved most of the time, any beat searches I do won’t load, and any of the songs I actually want to use never show up. If I type Lil Peep for example I end up getting Lil Baby x Gunna. If I type Kid Cudi, nothing related to Kid Cudi shows up. If I type MGK, the app will either not load my search or not show me anything that even gives off an MGK type vibe. The person I sold my phone to downloaded this app and didn’t realize she was still logged into my app store account. When I realized what happened, and that $50 was taken out of my account, on the morning the subscription started, I immediately ended the subscription and contacted the girl who i sold my old phone to. I asked them to cancel the subscription cancel the annual subscription and refund me since it was the day of the active subscription, or could we somehow shift the subscription to her App Store. Can’t save or archive songs either No cut or drag tool, so everything has to be said in perfect time and sequence No actual EQing of lows and highs so it sounds very unmixed and your master options are brutal. And you can’t layer effects. I want auto but can’t have reverb also? I can get plug ins on free programs. Why am I paying for this when it’s cutting off creativity and making it way harder than it has to be with no options. ✓ Read the Terms of Service!!!!I was really hopeful downloading this, but I would advise anyone who actually has talent to just do it solo. The terms of service clearly state that they own the rights to anything you create on the app in anyway shape and form. I wanted to contact support for clarification on this and GDPR concerns but there is no way to contact a dedicated support line. I hate to rate it so low as it’s a brilliant Idea But there’s no way I pay 49 dollars a year to give you the right to my music and the fact there is no way to contact your company that’s accessible seems super sketchy. So yeah I’d ask the devs to clarify but I don’t care at this point. If you wanna see your soul and get nothing for it totally use this app! If you actually about your stuff. ✓ Almost perfect except for one big problemReally good, lots of customization on each type of effect and some super nice beats. Big problem is you cant split tracks or duplicate them. ✓ Skipping/delay issues during recording 🤦🏽♂️ ive had itWhenever I try to make a song and im recording, the audio will start to delay and it messed up my entire recording. There is absolutely no reason or excuse an for this issue. I started using Rapchat almost 1 year ago to today. The old recording studio was a MULTITUDE time better than the new one your guys forced us to start using 😑 The autotune mechanics used to be better, the simplicity of navigating while in the studio. The only issue that old studio had was you couldnt cut your recording or loop something, thats it. But instead you guys completely got rid of it over time and its very disappointing. And flash forward to today, sometimes when I record im welcomed with a super loud screeching noise with my headphones in and the autotune isnt what it used to be. The only positive about the new studio is the fact you guys FINALLY added the capability of saving multiple projects to where you can work on something later… which has been a feature bandlab has always has. Its about a couple years late on that important features for artists. There needs to be something done about this super low quality studio thats pales in comparison to the classic version of Rapchat..Version: 10.0.2
✓ Honest opinionLove the idea of this app, great way to network and gain new fans. Although, more than 2 free vocal layers would be awesome. But my biggest problem is how they let you save the track you make as a video, but you can’t post them in other social networks due to copyrights from producers beats witch I find wild. As a producer, if you put your beats on apps letting people rap to them for free… you should give them the right to show anyone as well. Not saying they don’t deserve money for their beats, just know the difference between for sale and for promotional use! ✓ DisappointingThe app constantly crashes for absolutely no reason. One time it crashed and gave me the option to restore session but after restoring the session and posting my track the vocals weren’t added meaning I wasted 30 minutes of my life trying to record. I have a tight schedule and just don’t have the time to waste 30 minutes. I like recording to be a clean, quick process. I am highly disappointed in this app. This app also kills my battery very quickly. Rapchat makes me wish I just went out and bought a laptop, and a mic and recorded with FL Studio. One star for wasting my time and for the constant crashing with huge errors. I would give it 2 stars but the app refuses to function very well at all and only find myself struggling with it. I understand completely how the app works and how to record but yet it feels like such a slow process. ✓ New updateI been using rapchat for years now without problems but this new update ain’t it🤦♂️It constantly crashes, sometimes the recording stops working and I have to close the app and reopen it(the new update does not save ur work either..)😐Not to mention the Monitor feature stops working sometimes and the beats I listen to stop playing and I have to close the app again. The app also has a glitch with the comment where it just freezes on the comments and doesn’t let you leave. ✓ User interface has significantly been reduced in new updateI’m a producer on the app, I go by The MKS Master. I loved this app because of how easy it was to monitor tracks posted and also respond to artists who either want to purchase a beat or vise versa of me giving them feedback. The new interface brings a priority to video raps, which is a cool idea but it has caused the whole user interface to be a lot more difficult to use than it needs to be. First off, when you go to your profile Tab on the right hand side and try to go to a song or beat on your page THEN try to go back to the home page... the app glitches and you lose option to do so. In which case you must close the app and re open it to reset. Then they took off beat comments where you can leave a comment on the beat before you click it and see who all has rapped on it. I specifically used this to make announcements or to respond to people wanting to buy a beat. That has been taken away in the new layout, which I don’t mind but I wish they would give us a message board or something so we can continue to communicate to people in a efficient and effective way. Other than that this app has been nothing but Genius but with a update to the interface this significant, it should make the lives of everyone who uses the app, Rapper or Producer, a fun and efficient one..Version: 6.0.4
✓ Soo many little bugsIt’s a good idea personally however I don’t think the app developer really made a plan to this app. You can’t edit - if you make the slightest mistake you have to delete the whole recording you’ve made. Also you can’t slide your recordings around to fit the correct time of the track. ✓ Rapchat appFirst I wanna start by saying the app is Dope ...but you guys still have major glitches and issues that need to be fixed ASAP ...when the studio crashes sometimes when you reload the session it won’t allow you to add a new track to your recording session and that’s frustrating if you aren’t done recording ... another thing is when someone sends you a invite to collaborate you can’t delete the invite if you don’t wanna collaborate with that specific artist ..we the users also can’t trim our tracks instead we have to re record the track if there’s a minor error .. A big concern of mine is the fact we aren’t allowed to move our songs around on our profiles , pinning one song at the top is kool , but we should be allowed to place our songs in the order that we want them to appear on our profile....The featured part of the app should be taken more seriously someone has to really sit down and screen what’s good and what’s not ..
