Saw Beckett was still around and with an app. Downloaded (without reading reviews) and was excited to see what my old cards were worth. When the app does load, I saw I needed to buy a subscription to see their worth. No big deal, just like when I was younger buying the current Beckett mag to see, $15. Spend the $15 for the subscription, load the app until it actually works, and it tells me I have no subscription. My receipt says $15 to Beckett but my account on the app says “nope”. I contacted Beckett customer service 3-4 days ago and haven’t heard anything back besides a automated reply. Log on to the App Store and see the all the bad reviews they have. Not only was it annoying to use, but after a month, I saw another $35 charge. I never signed up for auto renewal, and the app would not let me unsubscribe. So I emailed customer service. No response. ✓ Very DisappointingLooks great and there are a few decent features on the surface but overall it’s just a clunky price guide. Too many features that should be simple to find and use (submitting cards, organizing your collection) are unavailable or just take you in endless loops. Especially for such highly rated players as Griffey Jr and other HOF players. Some cards don't even have prices available or are way under going average prices on EBay. ✓ Won’t let you cancel auto-payBeware, the website and app automatically set you up for Auto-pay even if you select one time payment. Then it won’t let you stop auto pay. The App will say that you have to turn it off in settings. But there is no option to. In addition it will say you have to turn it off in Apple Pay. Even if you don’t have Apple Pay even set up. Then if you try on the website, it will keep giving you pop ups asking if you are sure you want to cancel it. By the end when you submit, it will give you an error. And if you go back into your profile your will find that you are still on auto-pay. This company is horrible and I’m not too sure that what they are doing is exactly legal. ✓ Can’t log inSigned up on the website and was informed of the mobile app. After downloading and trying to log in, I am given a notice that my login email or password are incorrect, even though I am using the same details I use to login to the desktop website. I think, maybe resetting my password will help, so I attempt this... I am entering a 9 character password and it informs me that my password needs to be at least 8 characters, so I increase it to 10 and still get the same notification. I cannot log in to the app no matter what I do, so for now I am resigned to using the desktop site.Version: 3.6

✓ Terrible app with misleading featuresDo not download this app if you intend to manage your collection via an iPad or tablet. The app doesn’t allow you to actually enter your cards into the collection. The description states you can, “...access these same great features you find online.” You have to use a browser to do that. Why would I download an app if I had to use a browser? So someone who downloaded the app, signed up for the pricing service, realized after a few minutes of trying to upload cards that the feature they’re searching for doesn’t exist, they’re stuck with a non-refundable payment to Beckett. I used the app for less than 15 minutes and asked for a refund. It was escalated to a business development executive who told me, “We apologize however online subscriptions are non-refundable.” It’s a shame. I’ve been a Beckett customer since the first year the company started printing a price guide and have also gotten nearly 100 cards BGS graded. I bought the service to go along with the app. The app doesn’t support what I want to do. The company should refund my money. PSA and SGC will get my grading from now on..Version: 2.5.6

You have to scroll for forever to go through a set and the lack of filters to look for just base cards, inserts or parallels does not exist. Made the huge mistake of paying for the annual pricing as I collect a lot of Formula 1 and Soccer and there is still no pricing??? Topps 2021 and 2022 Formula 1, not pricing at all! They don’t do anything in print anymore and you are not getting it here either. ✓ No password??? ;|I didn’t even get onto the app. It first told me to put in a password. I put in a password and it told me the requirements and one of the things was adding a special character. I add a special character and it tells me the only ones you can add are, “-“ or “_”. I change to one of those and then it tells me my password and confirm password don’t match. I tried multiple time with different and the same passwords to get in but it still didn’t let me in. I finally gave up on what felt like the 50 millionth time trying to put a password. ✓ Beckett more like Bug-kettThe app logs me out constantly, it lags for ages when searching for slabs using their unique # and eventually times out. As much as I like the extra details with sub categories on your graded cards the pop report needs updating found plenty of broken links where you can find the individual card but the pop report shows 0 for everything, and also you could start doing scanned uploads of newly graded cards like PSA does.Version: 4.3

I find it ludacris that the prices continue to rise, now at $11 and unless you use every feature daily it's excessive in my opinion. Finally on day 3 I tried a different option and got a hold of a gentleman who said he got through just fine and that I must've not called during working hours. After informing him that I tried just before getting him he said sorry you've already been charged for this month as of this morning. I told him that I've been trying for 3 days and he then tells me it must've been during hours they weren't open. ✓ Don’t waste your moneyIf you’re looking for approximate values of your best/rare cards, don’t waste your money. Agree with the most recent comments. App is clunky, the photo search function doesn’t work, the search field requires you to get their wording so specific, e.g. when I type “Young Guns” in hockey nothing comes up because they have listed it as “YG”, when I complained to Customer Service that I couldn’t find about half of my cards, they proceeded to treat me like an imbecile and give me a step by step of how to search, I.e. click hockey, then click the year...wow. They also said that rare cards, low print and recent won’t have values because it’s based on market which I get, however, the sole reason I got the app was to value my rarer cards, not cards worth thousands that justify spending money to grade but just rarer than the base cards. They should make this clearer in the app description. When I asked for my money back, they said they couldn’t as I purchased through Apple. This is BS. I work in customer service myself and even when guests purchase tickets through 3rd parties, we still have the ability to “wear it” and provide the customer with some sort of resolution/satisfaction!.Version: 2.8
✓ A bit shady...The app itself is okay. The search engine is very poor and will not fine what you are looking for most of the time unless you are extremely specific. The shady part is when is comes to auto-renewal. When purchasing a 1-month subscription from my phone, the subscription management was tied to my iCloud account. I canceled from my iCloud account but continued to be charged because I didn’t go into my account IN BECKETT’S app to cancel there as well. That is a pretty deceptive practice in my opinion. I have never had to cancel a subscription in multiple places for any other service in my life. I wonder how much extra revenue they generate because of this extra, unexplained step. ✓ Stuck in the 90’sThis app seems to be stuck in the 90’s. The UI is garbage and makes no sense. When I tried to purchase a subscription, they took my money but the app failed to recognize my subscription, forcing me to contact their customer support. Customer support was also a nightmare. I had to speak to two very unhelpful reps who ultimately asked me to send them an email in order to “prove” my purchase. 18 hours later and no response from anyone.
