✓ Looked promising but update made it worseAfter first downloading the game my thoughts about it were positive. I enjoyed the quick paced races where it all could change with a single tap of the screen. The update however has worsened my experience of the game. True, the connection times between races are slightly quicker but the connection itself is poor compared to before the update. Often I'll be in a race and my opponents will be jittering across the screen making it impossible for me to tell where they are and this means I can't tell who won until the times come up because even though I crossed the line first someone else got a better time but I could not see. This problem is not down to my own connection because before the update the connection was excellent. Another point where the game falls down is that there's no push to make you play the game more. Adding some form of coin to maybe customise your character could drive people to play. This app would have received 5 stars if I'd written this before the update so bare that in mind if you download this game..Version: 1.1.1

✓ What?!?!I had this game for just over a week on my family's iPad we had kind of got addicted to it and after about a week we had about 7,000 points and were ranked around 250th when suddenly our score resets and we start back off at 0... That's just not fair! I expect this to be sorted out soon and my score recovered. Apart from that and the countless adverts in the first edition it is a great game and I would rate it 5 stars, so there's your task, sort out my score and you get 5 stars instead of one. :-/.Version: 1.1.2

It seems like it is pixel level collisions from the top will bring you to a halt while below it takes many pixel collisions to cause a collision. ✓ What is THIS???The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because of the game of war play ads that are kind of fun. This game is so bad, if you even get a chance to play after the 1/2 hour you have to wait for players to be "found", you will see why it's so bad it's basically a lamer flappy bird race version of doodle jump and if that even kind of sounds cool. I mean the game literally takes 4 seconds to find 4 players, while the bigger doodle jump takes 3 minutes to find 1 player! How does that makes sense? If you try to start this without using Game Central then you get stuck in an endless loop where DoodleJump Race tells you that you need Game Central and takes you to Settings. I cancel out if settings because I do not want to use Game Central, that takes me back to DoodleJump Race which flips me back to Settings. This goes on until I pull the plug. ✓ Make sure the app works before publishing it...On an iPhone 5S running 9.2 and I couldn't get past the connecting screen(not the finding players, the one with the play button). Ran it on a 6 running 9.3 and it ran completely fine with the same network. I've run tests between these two devices before and it shouldn't have been an issue with the device. Please fix this game. ✓ Good game, but work to be doneThis is definitely a very fun game which is also very addictive, however, as many others have said, the waiting in between rounds takes a ridiculously long time sometimes (we're talking waiting 2+ minutes for a 20 second race) which ruins it completely and means I nearly always just end up closing the app out of frustration. ✓ Can Be Improved...This game is very addictive, but I think you could add some more features to it. For example, add a feature to where we can customize our character. Also, you can add some more maps with cool backgrounds, instead of playing the same map over and over again only changing the position of the obstacles. I saw someone suggest showing the rankings of other players you're currently racing. I'm all for that idea too. Oh and adding on the customization of characters, add a feature to where we can change their jetpacks too maybe. Please fix the issue where it takes a while to connect with other players. ✓ …That’s it?I feel like this would be a good mini game inside one of the other doodle jump apps, but it’s not enough to be its own game. It’s just like the Christmas and Easter doodle jump games: they could have just made a way to unlock themes like that in the normal game instead of making a whole new app for it, but they just want more people to download more of their apps. Also, I see a lot of people asking if you’re playing against AI instead of actual people and the answer is definitely yes. That, compounded with the ads after every game (I would pay to get rid of them) makes it a tough game to keep playing.
