✓ Invite Master Teacher Ashra KwesiI enjoy Gaia but I believe it is operating in the 3 D motivation where it is filled with a single group view. I dont know if Gaia is afraid of the GWSG suppressing them if they allow the deeper truths to become public throughout there platform or if they are afraid to rock the boat because of there viewer demographics. Eventho I have the 12 mo subscription I rarely watch because It difficult to Identify with the presenters of the content. They dont have the ability to see the world through my eyes. I guess Im saying Gaia your diversity is lacking not missing just lacking. Meet the challenge. Fyi the first time I saw thumbs down on any Gaia series was a black meditation teacher until then I didn’t believe Gaia viewers judged like that. ✓ Great!!!The app is great and it’s got a lot of contents but the only problem is that it crashes now and then and it’s not super smooth. I’ve experienced some issue with subtitles and captions as well, they would disappear as soon as I switch to another apps and try to re open Gaia. ✓ GaiaI am having a great deal of trouble with this app, I can’t get it to play what I want to watch and I’m very interested in this subject matter. But I am going to unsubscribe because it seems like I am just getting a whole lot of testimonials about what I want to watch and not getting the actual video’s/documentaries. I’m not about to pay all this money to watch what is virtually advertisements. Let me know when this is fixed and I’ll be back but until then I will be unsubscribing from the Gaia site. ✓ Epic FailI had been toying with trying the Gaia app out for a while as someone that loves doing yoga at home. Then I realized there was a documentary I wanted to watch available through Gaia, so I went for it. I confirmed my subscription, and planned to watch the documentary that night. We settled in that evening…and discovered that the documentary was completely gone. It wasn’t available either on the app or via laptop. Today I went to try out my first yoga video, and it wouldn’t play. I closed the app, opened it again, and tried all manner of things to get it to play. Not only would it not play, but all of the other yoga videos disappeared too so I couldn’t even try another one. At that point, I was super frustrated and decided to cancel my subscription. This app and program is a waste of time, energy, and potentially money if you don’t cancel before the trial expires..Version: 5.4.8

But the app itself, it frequently stops working (there is no issue with my WiFi), and then I have to delete the app and reload from the app-store. ✓ Not working on any of my devicesDear Gaia Staff, There appears to be something wrong with this app and website at present. Despite paying for the Live Access content, many of the videos are giving an error notice when I try to watch them or kicking me out of the episode and saying that the episode is finished. ✓ FunctionalityGaia content is fabulous, I have learned so much and thoroughly enjoy the programming. However, it is extremely disappointing that dates were removed from descriptions. Dates are important so people can choose to see the latest information and studies or correlate programming to a different timeframe. This change alone has made me reevaluate if I want to keep my membership. Additionally the text is extremely small and difficult to read. A hover feature to enlarge graphics and texts when scrolling to see selections and then being able to choose programming would be helpful. Note: these notes are based off of watching on TV. Consider bringing dates back to description programming. Not only is it helpful for viewers, the perception of not having the dates could be construed as hiding information or manipulation of some sort. It raised a red flag for me..Version: 5.4.92

✓ Can’t usePretty disappointed with Gaia. I used to love it but had to stop whilst I was heavily budgeting in school. I always thought the subscription was somewhat fair because the videography is quite good. It’s been a few years, so I wanted to see what was new and get back into some routines. I don’t remember my old login whatsoever, so I started to make a new account and have collected a few comments. 1. They got rid of the monthly subscription fee, users now have to pay for the year outright. While I believe this is a good option for some, it isn’t a reasonable pricing strategy. 2. There’s only one subscription that offers the workshops - I think this is really interesting and would love to try it… but not billed for a year at $333. Not for something I can’t try first. Would be nice to have a flex plan, add on, type of subscription. 3. Their first week free doesn’t work, the app tries to charge you right away. I’d really like to try out the new stuff but not blindly. I think this needs to be fixed or done in a way that offers less locked doors to get through. Advice: Netflix does offer $5 subscriptions that plays one add at the start of viewing. I think this is a really good strategy to remove barriers and mitigate revenue loss. I’d like to subscribe… but these barriers have me looking at alternatives. I mostly only used the yoga anyway..Version: 5.4.117

✓ Take your money with no warningUnlike other apps who send a reminder as a renewal is approaching, giving you a chance to cancel your subscription, GAIA just takes your money with no warning. GAIA does not show up in your subscriptions in Apple iPhone settings, and they don’t send any email reminders. They are the only subscription I have known to not send a reminder or at least show in subscriptions in settings. They took $130 out of my account and told me they don’t refund. I had to fight for refund and a similar thing happened to a girlfriend. Not a bad product but they must make a lot of money out of people who wouldn’t have renewed but haven’t realised the subscription in due 12 months later. Funny how they are all about the enlightened soul because this just spells greed to me..Version: 5.4.16
✓ App needs updated search featuresWhen searching for something like “full moon” I get a massive list of everything containing the word “moon” and articles containing the word “full” with limited priority at the top for the combination of “full moon”. Try “full moon meditation”... forget about it. Also, there should be a better filter search option. Why can’t I search “full moon” specifically in the meditation section? The meditation section does have filters, but they are useless. I don’t care who the teacher is, what level the mediation is, or what the duration is, as long as it covers the topic I’m looking for. Those are the only 3 filter options, and they are all useless to me. I would like to see a category option, i.e. healing, brain power, deep meditation, etc. Also a filter for the type of video; is it guided meditation, sound healing, or is it yoga? ✓ Great idea but needs workThe idea and content are amazing but the functionality of the app could be improved. I’m still new to the app but finding some things difficult to navigate. When watching something using Apple TV, I’m unable to use my phone without the app/documentary stopping, unlike Netflix. When I go back to the app/documentary it often goes back to the beginning of the doc rather than starting from where I left it. ✓ PLS BE WARE Gaia are THIEVESBE VERY CAREFUL of GAIA TV subscription. Not only did I not get to watch one single thing, I couldnt even access the service, had no help or any replies to my many attempts to sort these basic tech issues out/ or my many emails saying I do not authorize them to keep taking money for something I can’t even access. I emailed support & the helpdesk countless times with NOT reply! ✓ App is very frustratingI very much like the content but no matter what platform I am watching on (new iPhone or internet TV) I have issue with playing a lot of the time and if I am lucky enough that goes well I just pray family doesn’t interrupt me because if I have to hit pause or rewind it’ll crash or freeze virtually every time. I’ve never experienced such a horrible player in all my life. You charge a hefty amount, performance should be better, and I’m sure the high cost is partly because not many people will subscribe to this content so I’m ok with supporting you as you grow your subscriptions however the irony is I watch this for my spiritual side and the amount of frustrations I get trying to be peaceful is anything but. I would recommend you stop adding new content and redirect your resources until you are able to fix this issue. It has caused me to really limit how much I use the app. Btw, our internet speed doesn’t get much better, we’re a top tier and have extra routers to support a house five times our small size. I personally don’t want to spend time with tech support on something that likely is not on our end. I can’t be the only one having issues. ✓ Absolute time wasterAs a new mum drowning in baby-care and chores, with little time to even shower most days, I thought I would treat myself to a subscription to help me cope. I only have a very narrow window of opportunity for yoga to relax and destress and I am very disappointed with this service. I don't have time to waste trying to troubleshoot technical issues or wait more than 30 minutes for a video to load, this has happened to me so often now that the stress from Gaia is far greater than any benefits I have received. ✓ Lot Of Titles Unavailable Making It BoringAfter hearing many positive reviews about Gaia I subscribed. There appear to be a lot of police and amazing films on here but whenever I attempt to click on them. I get,”Unavailable in your region.” Which means that the rest of the material available to me is less than basic, on top of that the price has once again increased. ✓ Casting to TVI love GAIA generally but I can’t control the casted programs! That is, can’t forward or rewind the videos during casting to tv. Have had my systems checked and been told it’s the GAIA setup. Why is this process of casting so difficult now? Used to be such an easy task then casting function taken away and now it’s back but so many people are having problems. We just want the best visual and audio experience of such wonderful programs on Gaia! Sorry for the vent but so frustrated trying to watch and learn from Gaia programs. ✓ Pushes a certain perspectiveThis app is different to say in the least. I’m big into spirituality and was super eager to check this out. Some stuff was pretty cool actually and really opened my eyes but it was the section on the afterlife that really irritated me. It didn’t give multiple perspectives but a single one reinforced by numerous people sharing the same one. Then I noticed the pattern. It wasn’t just the afterlife section is was in almost every section I was able to check out during the trial. They push a very particular belief system and state it as if it’s a fact. It’s no better than going to a Christian church where they believe the same as other Christians but think their branch is the most accurate out of all of them. It’s demeaning, close minded, and gate keeping on so many levels. This isn’t a spirituality app that addresses a broad spectrum across various belief systems but a single perspective is addressed excluding 99% of other belief systems..Version: 5.2.1

✓ Dysfunctional app and poor customer supportThis app has been nothing but problems for several years, I only keep it in case there is something worth disregarding the poor app capabilities to watch. I have always had random issues of certain episodes not playing or not being available at random times, there is no English subtitle for this of us who have a hard time understanding the speakers who have a thick accent. Even to this day still no English subtitle option. But the main reason for this low review is because for 3 months this app has been freezing as soon as I click on any content. Whether it’s an episode or my profile, the app freezes as soon as I click something on the main screen. The support has not been helpful and they keep telling me to update the app. Um...the app is up to date and you guys need make changes on your end to fix the app. They also tell me the streaming speed is extremely slow, but when tested right next to my router it still freezes. Other streaming apps and video game consoles have no problem streaming other apps. So this is definitely a Gaia issue, but they won’t listen..Version: 5.4.5

But what I would like is a download option on the app. I know there's the app called "purple player" for Gaia, but it wouldn't download properly. And the screen would freeze. ✓ Dismissive customer serviceAfter years of successfully using this app and loving the content I’m canceling my subscription. I’ve documented my bandwidth at 11mbps at the same time period of unsuccessfully attempting to stream Gaia videos. Cassandra the customer service technical lead ignored this documentation and insists the app is fine and my bandwidth is to blame. When I gave more information and uploaded videos of my experience she gave a passive aggressive “as addressed in my reply...” She never once addressed the fact that 11 mbps surpasses the bandwidth requirements to support video streaming. She simply gives a robotic response that blames my internet. Paying for aggravation and snide customer service is money poorly spent. ✓ Really disappointedWas told my FMTV subscription would transfer over to GAIA. When I tried to login and use the app it wouldn’t work even though I had a subscription until 11th April. Contacted GAIA via live chat and was told they couldn’t help me through the chat but would email me with a response. This was over a week ago now and I’ve heard nothing since. Sent a follow up email, no response again. Have now received an email advising my subscription will expire tomorrow. Will not be renewing as I’ve been unable to access the content as promised. ✓ Cancelled during “FREE” trail & still charged!I most certainly cancelled outside of their said “active subscription period”. I know this for a fact as I only watched it for one day then cancelled straight away. There was no cancellation number given, so no evidence of cancellation, meaning PayPal wouldn’t refund me and when I got in touch with Gaia I was completely blanked. Many have had this issue and Gaia never responds. Think about that before going for a free trail. ✓ Okay but frustratingDeeply frustrated with this app right now. Because it doesn’t buffer videos, as soon as I leave wifi, it stops playing. Not even a couple minutes of content left. So, I download videos for offline play. But when I pause (phone asleep) and come back to watch the video, it starts over from the beginning. At least over wifi I can close the app and the videos will still restart where I left off. But SAVED videos can’t remember where I paused? So I have to waste time scrolling through to figure out where I left off. Pause briefly to get a glass of water and boom, it won’t play. I have to restart the video or restart the app and then scroll through again trying to figure out where I hit pause. Also, the app (I deliberately never answered the preferences questions) seems to inundated me with conspiracy theory and alien videos and I have to search extra hard for quality content. Yet when I’m on the website and search the same way, I find things that never showed up on the app and which I have to search by name for to find on the app. Aside from the obnoxious playback issues though, it seems to work okay. Bummer the “meditation” button goes nowhere though. Just keeps forcing me to take a survey 🙄..Version: 4.4.3
✓ Lacking in new content!Definitely lacking in new content. I have watched almost all the shows I'm interested in on consciousness and spiritual growth and would love to see more great shows on these topics - bring the lovely Lisa Garr back with her wonderful show 'Inspirations'! There's only so many times you can keep rewatching the same shows over and over. While I find ET's, UFO's and conspiracy theories interesting, it seems these are the main topics on Gaia these days! I'd also like to see fresh new yoga classes and teachers, again, other than the short daily yoga series, I haven't seen any new full length or longer classes in a long time so I'm having to go to other sites to find new and interesting classes! Such a shame as I was such a big fan and recommended Gaia to all my friends yet now, due to the often poor quality and lack of new content, It feels like my subscription is a waste. Come on Gaia, with so much free content online these days, if you expect to keep your members, you need to invest more resources in to keeping your content new, fresh and interesting!.Version: 3.5.1

✓ Super unimpressedI downloaded Gaia to see if it was something I wanted to subscribe to on a permanent basis as I’d heard great things. It had a seven day free trial which was fab. Spoiler: the trial is not fab and you’re billed 24 hours before it ends. You don’t get to watch anything completely before it says you have to pay for it. Couldn’t even watch a 9 minute meditation video! How is a customer supposed to make a decision when the trial doesn’t actually give them an experience of the product? Not much interested in anything else). So is there a possibility that you have a senior discount? I’m 68. There’s no possibility of my income changing. ✓ Bad Customer ServiceI had cancelled my service via chat BEFORE the renewal fee and was told that my account was cancelled and I wouldn’t be charged for the following month and I was charged for it anyways. Went back the chat and Ivory pretty much called me a liar several times and was beyond rude that it genuinely shocked me. And I wasn’t going Karen on her, all I wanted was the charge refunded as I cancelled with more than enough time before the next renewal was due and was belittled and told I was essentially lying, Ivory talked down to me and couldn’t have cared less when I requested that she didn’t need to say that or speak to me that way and it just continued until I ended the chat. So hopefully no one needs good customer service because you probably won’t get it. Seems like they are content to take money from you even if you cancel early or on time. Be very careful with this company, they are sneaky and very nasty when you request a refund for something that was their fault in the first place..Version: 5.4.117
✓ Amazing content, terrible downloadsI LOVE Gaia, but every time I spend so much time downloading content I want to watch offline as I’m on the road and out of reception a lot, as soon as I’m out of reception they NEVER work, I click ‘go to my offline playlist’ and its blank and nothing loads every single time!! I hope every time there’s an update this will change but nope, what is the point of wasting time downloading!! Extremely frustrating, please fix this because I do love this app 😭.Version: 5.4.38
✓ Amazing info, bad appI love all the info that Gaia has to offer, but the app is so extremely annoying! It doesn't show the timeline when you're watching something and if you decide to pause, it won't resume when you press play, and because there's no timeline, you don't know where you're up to, so you have to manually try and find where you were up to which is very time consuming. It just stays on zero, and nothing works, like the 10 second rewind, it just is a blank screen with the options but the options don't work. There's no 'continue watching' feature like Netflix has, so you don't know what you watched or how far into it you were (i was in the middle of a 2hr doco that was really good but probably won't watch it again because I can't remember what it was or where I was up to). I will probably unsubscribe because I feel like if I am paying $15 for it, it should be practical. As i said though, amazing info/docos and would be back in a heartbeat if this was fixed. Note - I am using chromecast on the mobile app. Please fix this!.Version: 3.5.1

✓ OverallSo far, the only film I watched from beginning to end was 'inner worlds outer worlds'. My husband scoffed 'pseudoscience' and walked away. I partly agree, but there were some really inspiring parts and I thought it was well done. Most of the other films seemed dominated by preachy sounding white middle class people yelling st me about what "we" need to do. Only a few of them seem authentic and humble. And people like the "What the Bleep" woman (I think her adopted name is Rhamta or something) who is well known to be a money hungry con-artist, make everything seem pseudo and fake, even though there may well be great productions in here. I'll still keep trying and will watch a few more. However, one thing that mostly ruins it for me is the nauseating elevator music. I try to tune it out while listening, but often fail. It makes everything seem cheap and mass produced. It'd be nice to see some real healers and visionaries and real music from various cultures, not just middle/upper class Americans..Version: 3.4.1
✓ Gaia App does let me watch the yoga I wantGaia has great yoga programmes on it, which I love. But the software has some difficulties. It fails to remember what I have watched so it is surprisingly hard to go back to a favourite. Without setting anything up I would expect to be able to find what I watched before. And sometimes it simply freezes and even if you restart the iPad it doesn’t solve the problem and you can watch nothing. Others I know who use Gaia have exactly the same problem so it is not just my setup. As a result when my free trial ends I will not start paying..Version: 5.4.2
