✓ Fun for the Team and Family’s. Sounds LegitI have been using this for my daughters softball team. I coach the team and could see a huge difference in the girls confidence when they go up to the plate. Overall its fun for the team and family to hear their names played on the loudspeaker like the pros. Easily hooked up to a blue tooth portable speaker or park PA system. Just a recommendation it is worth the money to pay for the voiceover. Sounds legit. Also you can set up music for in-between innings. ✓ So easyThis app could not be more simple and functional. The initial costs of getting the full version of the app and paying for professional voice announcing does add up a bit, but all are one-time fees and absolutely worth every dollar. Changing walk up songs is super easy, as is moving players around in the lineup. There are simple and to the point videos to explain how to set up professional voices, which were helpful. ✓ Outstanding Customer ServiceNot going to lie, the app for me was a little tricky. I got the basics down and have it doing what I need to do, but it’s capable of so much more. I ordered the pro-voicing, have some of the walk up songs loaded and it sounds great. You can select the size of the song, fade the music, soften the music during the announcement and also set an order for the announcement and the music. It’s a really cool app and I’m enjoying it. Only have one gliche sometimes the music won’t play, but I reached out to support and they are already looking into it. Customer service is extremely responsive and helpful. ✓ Fantastic!This is such a great app. We use it weekly. For the second season, we have purchased the professional announcer. It was a huge treat for our kids to have the Angels announcer announce them! He is phenomenal, lightning quick and very fairly priced. ✓ Love this app! Baseball mom DJThis app is the best! It was easy to set up and edit songs to exactly where the kids wanted. I loved that we could add voice announcement. We got the voiceover from Casey and all the parents and kids are thrilled. The customer service is beyond impressive. We submitted our request for voiceover and received back in an hour. ✓ Almost a Home RunWhen you purchase a song from iTunes this isn’t an issue and the app is awesome. However the issue is with songs not purchased but used through Apple Music. It does NOT give you the option to soften music (granted they do list this as a drawback) but when you do use songs they have a tendency to drown out the audio intros even when the setting is at max for intro vs music. This doesn’t happen all the time and doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for the issue. I play it once and can’t hear the intro. I stop it again and no issue. Obviously I can’t trust this in a game so having to buy every song for over 60 kids isn’t cost effective. I don’t see the issue why this can’t be an option if you download it to your library on your phone. Why will a song bought from same source work.Version: 13.4
✓ A1 Customer ServiceI made a mistake while placing my order and chose the wrong intros, I contacted customer service via email and Chad answered my questions promptly. The profesional announcer redid my intros very promptly as well. The professional announcer redid any of the players I was unhappy with. They were super patient and made sure I was taken care of! ✓ FANTASTIC Customer ServiceI’ve been using Ballpark DJ to play walk-up songs for my sons baseball team for a couple seasons now and it’s extremely user friendly. My daughter just started softball and I volunteered to do walk-up songs for her team as well using BallparkDJ and they requested voicing intros on top of the walk-up songs which was new to me. I didn’t realize that you could record your own voicing along with the option to order professional voicing so I went ahead and ordered professional voicing. When I realized I didn’t have to buy professional voicing after the fact, Ballpark DJ’s support team (Jack specifically) was extremely supportive and very quick to reply to my questions and needs. I will recommend this app to literally everyone who needs this kind of service! Top quality app for sure..Version: 18.2
✓ Best App for Youth BaseballThis app is very easy to use. They provide great options for purchasing professional announcers for “now batting number 99 kids name” that is someone’s real voice and not a computer generated, female voice. The announcer we chose for our team really added a personalized touch to each players name. The boys loved it. Importing the names ordered was simple. Customer support was great when responding to questions about loading the purchased announced names into the app. Adding walk up music was very simple from iTunes. This app was perfect!.Version: 3.9
✓ Overall great, a few changes would make it excellent.This is a great app that can be used for any sport, just need to be creative. You can edit tracks and have them start when you want. The vocal recording option is a great perk too. I preloaded about 80 songs for my daughters ringette team and seems to be no issues etc. Negatives: 1. Unless there is another way I am yet to be aware, the music to be used needs to be downloaded on the device (doesn’t work to stream music off Apple Music as an example). 2. When playing songs, if you hit the “back” button to go to a different menu within the app, let’s say to line up a different team/song, the current song you are playing immediately turns off when you hit the back button. 3. If your lock screen is set for say 15 seconds to turn your device off, the music stops as soon as your device turns off. Same thing happens if you close out of your app 4. Would be nice if you could have an on deck option for lining up the next track/song rather then manually having to do so after the current song finishes. I know I just focused on the negatives, but truly this is the best app of its kind out there. I have tried a few, overall, this one is great! A few tweaks and it will be excellent!!!.Version: 4.4.2
✓ This is the only app you needI’ll start by saying, this is my first ever app review and i’ve used apple products for over ten years now. That’s how incredible this app is! If you’re reading this and trying to determine which app to get for your team’s walk-up music, stop reading and get this app now! This app is so user friendly, so intuitive, SO SIMPLE to set-up, you’d think it wouldn’t meet ALL of your needs, BUT IT DOES. I started by using my own voice to announce the players and it was easy to do and honestly sounded great. Being able to very easily edit where you want the song to start and exactly where you want the players name to be announced was great as well. But being able to add the actual voice of the Braves announcer for each kid made this app jump into the “pro” category! Others have commented on this as well, but the turn-around time to get the recordings back was just THREE HOURS!!! That kind of customer service simply doesn’t exist anymore. ✓ Love this App!We have had this app for 3 years. It’s very easy to use and add music and voice recording. The first two seasons, we had a dad do the voice and that was great. This year, I paid for the professional voice announcer and am very happy with the results. The boys chose Michael Araujo from the list of announcers. He did an amazing job! It sounds so professional and it was quick. I received the voice announcements back within 2 hours of submitting the order. I had to add an extra player mid-season and got it back within 6 hours. ✓ Sweet App!!!I've been looking for an app like this for some time for my sons' games and was able to play walk-up music at all of my oldest's high school games and youngest's 13U travel games. Not only did the players enjoy, but so did the parents and coaches! The only unfortunate issue is that there must be some limit on the number of walk-up groups or play lists that you can create b/c I made like 7 or 8, but now can't open the app to play any of them! ✓ Awesome App!!I was tasked with being the walk-up song Mom for our team and I was a little overwhelmed with the process of what I had to do. Once I was in the app, it was SO easy!! The instructional videos were so helpful and it literally shows you how to do everything. It was actually really fun pulling all of this together and I am SO excited to start using it at our games. (Apparently I mispronounced some according to my husband.). I tried the reorder, which for some reason wasn’t showing on my app, so I emailed the customer service. Within 3 MINUTES, (YES 3!!) ✓ Great appThis is a great app that was well thought out. The only issue i had is that a few times I would hit a snag where a players music won’t play. ✓ Perfect App, even better customer serviceI have been using this app for about 2 years now for travel baseball. Recently, I decided to purchase the voiceover for the intros and I was not disappointed. The quality is unquestionable and it’s great that it comes from a MLB stadium announcer. When I tried it myself, my voice sounded like a dying wildebeest and there was no way I was going that route. The app is very simple to use and I love how you can overlap the announcer/music and control the song to exactly your liking. It quickly displays your music already on your device, with various ways to organize songs. I recommend this to any coach out there, as the kids love hearing their names out loud followed by their favorite song. In the two years of using this, not once has it crashed or suffered from ‘bugs’. More importantly I wanted to stress the unbelievable service I received from the developer and Mr. Motter. I purchased 13 voice intros roughly 3 days ago and just noticed hours before game time I put the wrong number on a player. I emailed my issue expecting at least a couple of days to get it fixed, but they fixed it within the hour! Casey Motter even followed up to ensure the accuracy, you don’t get that service in these times. I can’t thank you guys enough and I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone. This app is so easy to navigate. Chad is very easy to work with and you can tell he really cares about the consumer and will go out of his way to make it work. ✓ Had odd playback issues todayJust FYI with the latest update. I had issues with audio playback with the JBL Flip 4 for the first time all season. I would start a player announcement and then all of the sudden the audio would drop out then pick back up again as if the volume was changing. I tried messing with the advanced mode settings ON and Off but had the same issue. It was random when it would happen. Everyone still loves the announcements and music though!.Version: 15.8
✓ Must-have app for any baseball teamThis is really one of the coolest things I have ever used. I purchased the premium package, which is very reasonably priced, and Johnny created the most awesome announcing experience I have ever heard. I think that every possible scenario is covered. It truly sounds like we have a professional announcer at every game calling all of the plays. The kids (and their parents) absolutely love it. I would highly, highly recommend this program. ✓ Wonderful customer serviceThe app updated Saturday morning the day we had games. On the way to the field I was going over each player and song as I always do to make sure everything was perfect. The songs weren’t playing at the right time and it wouldn’t play the way I started the songs. I emailed the company and immediately got a response from Chad giving me a temporary fix for the day. It worked for awhile but then stopped again. This was the first issue I’ve ever had with the app. The kids and parents love it. ✓ Simply amazing!This app is, simply put, amazing! I downloaded this app thinking I would have the ability to play music for each player as they walked to the plate. What I found is that you can have professionally voiced introductions that are very customizable! Since I’ve had the app, it’s ballooned into several different teams, both baseball and softball, along with pregame songs, warmup songs, middle of the inning songs, stadium organ music, sound effects etc. The players, coaches, fans, and even the umpires, all seem to love it, even when the umps have a meeting and I hit them with that Jeopardy Thinking song! Joe Martinez, the professional announcer for UFC, always voices my request in less than 24 hours, and often times I’ve received my requests back within minutes of submitting them! I’ve done everything from each player, to the coaches, team introductions, and tournament specific introductions, and it’s all been flawless! ✓ Great Concept - Unpredictable playback2nd ball season using BPDJ. From the beginning it’s been hit and miss on whether the walk up file will even play or not. As this season gets underway, I’m noticing the music now doesn’t always fire after the voiceover. Very inconsistent regardless of connection. Love the idea and interface is easy to use and quick to update - but, inconsistency for me is huge and makes it hard to use. Makes me look bad as the sound guy! Update: BPDJ 11.6 Beta seems to fix this issue. Have tested multiple times on my phone and playback is consistent - but have not tested via Bluetooth yet. Will find out this weekend. If 11.6 does in fact fix all issues, will change my review to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️..Version: 11.6

I recently got a new phone and didn’t have this app on backup and I was devastated I thought I had lost everything I’ve bought and worked on for 2 years! In desperation I sent an email at 8:22pm on a Saturday night and to my surprise got a response by 8:29! I was blown away at the customer service!
